Unfortunately our room had a bad sulfur smell (rotten eggs) when using toilet, sink or shower. The management responded quickly and tried chlorine but it did not make a difference. The room was clean.
Certainly not what it used to be. Its fallen into disrepair and apparent neglect. After arriving and removing at least 6 stinkbugs from the room, we found a small ceramic heater to provide any needed heating. The beds are NOT in bedbug bags, with under bed fabric ripped and hanging. A non working (alarm) clock. Non working closet light, and dying battery TV remote. Hot and cold water control is like trying to crack a safe. The water is VERY sulphuric, and hardly drinkable. There was no option provided for turndown/maid service and the room wasnt checked in the 2 nights there. Staff in lobby (locked often) wasnt too interested in inquiring about any needs. Is ANYTHING checked between guest stays? For what youre paying, its not worth it. Avoid at all cost.
Small Vintage Motel with nice updates. Comfortable bed and armchairs and little additional pieces that make the stay easier. Owner asks for preferences and fixes a small tray of packaged pastries and fruit plus instant oatmeal for a Continental breakfast in your room. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, and cable TV are in every room. For those who care, stations include the Food Network & HGTV (I cared. 😁.) Its just a nice place to stay. My stay was 6 nights.
It was decent. Not a place I enjoy visiting during the winter be wide the snow plow is right outside your window and therefore very loud. The heat also needs to be turned up -- it was very cold in the room.
The owners are very gracious and hospitable—and the rooms are clean, comfortable and warm during the winter months. I appreciated my stay and would recommend to others.
Great, inexpensive motel. Stayed 12 days with my son and his friends. And they have pet friendly rooms and a decent pool. Definitely recommend if on a budget. You get alot for your money. And a great staff.

Wonderful Wedding and reception. Food and drink were superb. Appetizers of shrimp, lobster, lamb chops, stuffed mushrooms, spinach puffs and crabcakes......Dinner buffet with salmon, roast beef, etc. Very gracious, professional and well dressed servers. Beautiful grounds with fountain. And, of course the serene view of Skaneateles Lake. Superb!
Can’t review the actual inn as they so nicely cancelled my reservation 6 days before the night we were going to be there. We made the reservation over a month in advance and every hotel in the area was booked when they decided they had ‘overbooked.’ They we’re still showing rooms available on multiple booking sites as well. The e-mail stating our reservation was cancelled simply had our reservation number and the word cancelled. Terrible management of their business, completely messed up our weekend plans as we had to get a hotel much further away. I’d recommend looking else where if you want to avoid having to find another place to stay at the last minute.
Very clean rooms. Really nice owners. Even had some snacks waiting for us. Close to Skaneateles downtown area.

Fits the definition of an idea roadside motel. Simple accommodations that are clean, convenient and affordable. Being located in the picturesque Finger Lakes certainly doesnt hurt either.
It was a decent place to stay overnight but our room had an ant problem and one of the beds had a very bad mattress. Would be pretty much flat when you laid on it.
This place is so close to relatives and friends we come to visit as often as we can. The rooms are quite and comfortable. We enjoy coming here when we can.

2022-07-24Very average decor. Pay for extras in room. No breakfast .but refrigerator, and microwave in our room. Room lacked towel racks, pictures on the walls. Describe as a little funky, but it was clean, and a good shower.

2022-06-01The Inn on 20 was a no frills place to stay in Skaneateles. The price was reasonable and the room was clean and cozy. The only bummer was the pool was not open. we would definitely recommend and stay here again :)

2021-05-31Great, clean motel. Everything in our room was spotless, the bathroom was spacious, and the fridge and microwave were like new. It was the perfect base for a Finger Lakes getaway. The family running it took very good care of the property. We had everything we needed in our room, all the Covid precautions were followed, and we had a great stay and peace of mind. We will definitely come back!

2021-08-01Very clean, spacious, comfortable room with microwave and fridge. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. As a previous reviewer noted, there was an odor from the water, and another guest I spoke to noticed the same thing. They need to have a water analysis done because there may be bacterial contamination in the system. Other than that, I had no complaints.

2021-09-12Room was great, clean and very comfortable, including the bathroom. The shower water started off warm but then it went to scalding hot, even on the cold setting. They must have a cross connection in the plumbing.
