This is one of the finest hotels Ive ever had the pleasure to stay at! The unimaginable comfortably of the rooms are incredible! Extremely, peaceful, quiet and comfortable. The amenities are incredible! Breakfast and the dining area fabulous! Rooms and the entire hotel are immaculate!
A hotel should feel like home, if not an upgrade from your current housing situation. I judge my hotels on several conditions: accommodations, decor and Feng Shui, staff, cleanliness and most importantly, quality of sleep/comfort.So...Accommodations: The room we stayed in was large and felt spacious. The ceiling was tall giving the room a much bigger feel, the AC-Heating system worked very well, the bathroom consisted of a step-in glass shower, toilet and large sink, the closet offered an iron and ironing board, small safe to safeguard ones valuables and there was a 40 inch TV, desk with room phone, and a very comfy chair in the back corner. A nice touch is the spacious mini-fridge and microwave. All-in-all, the room felt homey. The hotel offers multiple accommodations, including washing facilities for clothing, a conference room for meetings, exercise room and gymnasium, a beautiful lobby with tables and chairs for dining, hot continental breakfast of eggs and bacon, cereals and yogurts, muffins and pastries, and free coffee, and they also have an in-house store complete with all the things you might need during your stay, including microwaveable food and snacks to toiletries and other necessities. But my favorite accommodation is the outside firepit and Adirondack chairs - this is a nice touch.Decor and Feng Shui: I like the muted color scheme of light blues, purples and violets - its soft and inviting, and the blues invoke restfulness and a sense of calm. The artwork is minimalist, focusing on nature, also invoking an element of calm. The bathroom is stone tiled, with a marble countertop. The linens are of a decent thread count, but the mattress protector makes the bed feel overheated - more on that in a minute.Staff: Lovely, attentive and friendly. The cleaning crew was very respectful and the concierge did everything to make us feel at home.Cleanliness: because of Covid, we sweep the room down with sanitizer anyway, but the hotel does a thorough cleaning before you arrive and the room smelled fresh and clean. There were no apparent faults in cleanliness from what I could see. They also helped keep the room tidy while we were there.Quality of Sleep/Comfort: The bed was very comfy and plush, but the plastic protective liner made the bed feel very hot. Also, and it may just be me, but the bed felt very stiff after laying on it for an extended period of time. This led to a very restless night. Boo.At the end of the day, I still would stay at this hotel again. It is quite lovely and the setting is peaceful and tucked quietly into the woods. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. 8.5 out of 10.
After a long drive from Virginia we arrived to a sweet welcoming front desk lady Christina. She made sure every day that we are comfortable and have what we need. She was also very kind to my 6 year old son. We enjoyed the fire pit very much. The hotel is very clean and modern. There is a tapas restaurant very close to the hotel too.
From the minute I checked in with Christina at the front desk, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. My room was spotless, well laid out, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is nicely set back from the road so it was very quiet and I never even heard other guests of the hotel closing their car doors; it was that quiet. Ill be returning to the hotel next month for a wedding and Im looking forward to my stay. Christina was very welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, and very helpful.
Sleep Inn was my choice because of its location. I was pleasantly surprised with the size/cleanliness of the room and facility. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are equipped with lights that can be used to plug in electronics to charge or use. Very impressive.
This hotel was beyond our expectations! Weve booked it online without knowing this hotel or the area surrounding. The hotels level seems more than a 3 stars hotel, very clean, very friendly staff, the ADA room was perfect and met all of our expectations. All in all, a great experience.
We chose this hotel while on the road as a stop before heading out the next day to continue our journey. We hadnt researched it in advance. We were pleasantly surprised with the comfort, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the hotel. We felt, however, the cost of the stay was very high for the just a hotel room.
Our family stayed 2 nights in 2 rooms. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast and snack room were pluses. The best thing about this hotel, though, is the front desk staff...especially Jenise! I would rebook this hotel based on her kindness and attentiveness alone.
My wife and I had to take cold showers the entire stay, three days. After the first cold showers, we spoke to the front desk. They said they would look into it. The response we received was to run the water for 20 minutes?! Ridiculous answer, but we did it, still cold showers. We were told maintenance would look into it while we were out at a wedding but obviously nothing was done. I’m not happy about it, especially for the price we paid.
The bed bleached our clothes upon arrival, and when the front desk inspected they then told us there was no problem when very clearly there was. We had unknowingly sat in wet bleachy sheets for an hour and had it get on skin and ruin clothing. Very bad experience and nothing offered in compensation for our trouble.
Our stay was truly extraordinary. Everything was clean and tidy. The front desk were so kind and ready to help. The rooms came fully equipped. Every request was quickly and dutifully fufilled. The outside fire pit is just perfect for a nice night out. Just a really unbelievable stay. THANK YOU!!!
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and super clean. Loved the room and decor. The entire staff was amazing, especially Lee. She helped my boyfriend and I schedule and reschedule due to issues that came up. She was super friendly and even let me borrow her iPhone charger when I forgot mine. The entire staff made our stay incredible. I would recommend to everyone. Thank you again!!
We are former residents of the area and came to visit friends and visit Legoland. Our check-in process was very easy, and Leigh Pupps, the manager was very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the top floor and was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had at a hotel with many hot and cold offerings. The signage on Route 208 is large so there’s no possibility of missing it. I will definitely stay here again when I visit the area.
My husband and I have stayed here before and always had an excellent time. We just stayed overnight this past weekend and have to say it’s very impressive how well the hotel is running during this pandemic. It’s immaculate, mask enforced, and still have a friendly staff. Lee and Maria especially. We left our cell phone charger and Lee was nice enough to go the extra yard, search the room, and mail it to us!!! We will continue to stay there whenever we visit Orange County. It’s perfect! Go and enjoy!!!!
This hotel is fairly new and very clean with nice decor. Front desk staff are very friendly and courteous. I booked a reward night and check-in was so quick that it was done before my husband came in with the luggage. Bathroom is spacious with shelf space for clothes. I love the long breakfast hours - you are covered whether you need to leave early or stay in bed late. Perfect for busy travelers. Overall this is one of the best Sleep Inns weve ever been.
Beautiful Hotel must be new it smells new haha. The staff is super friendly rooms are super clean and new. Beds are very firm but I found them comfortable. The showers are a bit of a high step, stepping out of them is trickier than stepping into them. The continental breakfast was nice too, made some waffles, had potatoes, eggs, bacon and an assortment of pastries, yogurt, and cereals. Very happy with this place.
I was actually fairly surprised by this hotel. We got a 2 queen room, and it was fairly spacious. The bathroom was pretty nice too. The same quality as a Marriott with out the price. It was quiet and clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast in the morning is not the greatest, a typical continental breakfast.
My wedding was down the street from this Sleep Inn so we used the hotel for guests. We simply were looking for convenient lodging and they had a shuttle for guests. However, what we got was far beyond that, the staff was so friendly, nice and professional. The hotel was clean, modern and extremely comfortable. The staff really made us feel great about our stay, they distributed welcome boxes, put up a sign for our guests and offered use of the shuttle numerous times to ensure safe transportation of all guests. Literally dont have a single thing to say that wasnt great. Highly recommend hotel, especially if you are having a wedding down the street.
My husband and I had our wedding guests stay here and I couldn’t have hoped for a smoother experience! Everyone was so helpful! Communication was great! We used the shuttle multiple times- the shuttle driver was so professional and reliable! Our rooms were clean and spacious! Breakfast was filling and yummy! I’d highly recommend The Sleep Inn!
Im so glad I found the Sleep Inn. I was placed outside of my home because my pipes bursts and had to stay with my husband and daughter for 6 days. We had to do virtual school with my daughter and I had to work from the hotel and was able to do so without any issues. Two weeks later our entire family drove out to stay at the hotel to celebrate our new home and the pipes being fixed. Even though our house was ready, we still stayed at the hotel. The beds are SO comfy!
The staff here makes staying at this place feel like Your at a 5 star hotel , They are extremely friendly and professional. I only wish I could remember everyones name. I absolutely recommend staying here and I look forward to staying here again. Newly built and super clean!
My family stayed one night renting two rooms. Staff was very helpful making sure our room were connected even though it was a last minute request. Check in was a breeze and again staff answered all questions and made us feel at home. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and pretty. Bathroom was clean and spacious with great smelling products. Housekeeping was friendly and provided additional prodects with a smile. Breakfast was plentiful with many options. Checkout was quick and simple. Highly recommend this hotel to all!!!
Facility was new and super clean. I traveled with an infant so cleanliness was extra important to me. The staff was very friendly and ensured that my family and I had a comfortable stay. The breakfast had a decent variety and again, very clean. There are also a lot of restaurant, sit in and fast food, as well as a supermarket and other shopping facilities within minutes.
Easily accessible from the highway, the hotel has ample free parking, a bright and welcoming lobby (with free cookies), and friendly staff. Our room had a king size bed and sofa, but still had more than enough room to not feel even slightly cramped. Spacious bathroom and a standing shower with decent water pressure as well. We didnt take advantage of the complimentary breakfast, but the dining area was full of guests, so I imagine its quite good.
Room had garbage from the previous guest in it, some of the provided amnenties had already been opened. The provided pillows were abnormally small and the TV was terrible.Walls are pretty thin, could hear the guests next door getting busy....Way too expensive for the quality.
Had my wedding party stay at This Brand New Sleep Inn. Over 30 guest stayed at the hotel and everyone loved it. Every room smelled brand new and fresh. Everything was extremely clean. I personally live in the neighborhood and can attest this is a very safe neighborhood. The hotel staff were all extremely helpful and accommodating. I cannot stress enough how the hotel staff went above and beyond for my guest. JOHN the shuttle driver is an amazing person and really went above then above again and then beyond to accommodate my guest.... literally on point with every single detail. We were blessed with 70 degree weather and sunny march 30th 2019 and really enjoyed the fire pit outdoor area. We made some good memories back there. Thanks for everything and thanks to Marc for helping make this happen!
Stayed here two nights because of a weekend wedding. Nice, new hotel, well decorated and designed. No pool. Rooms were nice. Only issue we had was you could here every footstep upstairs in the rooms above and the hallways above ... not sound insulated that well during the building phase. Turn the TV up or bring earplugs. Nice morning, free breakfast. Oh, and only one elevator for customers and also used for the room cleaning staff.
My new husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding with our 13 room block of family and friends. Everyone was so easy and pleasant to deal with while setting up the shuttle to and from our venue. The room was incredibly clean. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful. Truly a pleasure to deal with!
This Sleep Inn was very clean and had a bright comfortable area which our family used for relaxing prior to our nights stay and in the morning as we met for the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast area was well stocked by the on-site attendant who was very pleasant and accommodating if something was needed. The rooms were neat, clean and the beds quite comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and available when needed.
Hotel was above and beyond excellent. Staff at the front desk , day and night were great along with the general manager. We had a excellent stay at a clean and well put together hotel. A plus was the breakfast in the morning and the free shuttle to the commons. The general manager is doing a excellent job along with her staff. I will return again and recommend it to any one staying there.
The manager Marc was simply amazing! He made the stresses of a wedding day so much easier to deal with knowing that he had everything under control for the stay of my guests as well as the transportation. I couldnt have asked for a more organized, clean and affordable hotel with wonderful customer service. If oi could give them a better review i would!
I booked this hotel for all of my wedding guests! The hotel is clean, beautiful, and modern! The service was that of a 5-star hotel! They treated me and my guests like gold and made us feel so welcome! They gave us champagne, set up for our after-party, and shuttled us to and from the wedding. I couldnt say anything bad about this place! 10 STARS!
We chose this hotel because of its proximity to West Point, which was about a 20 minute drive. We loved the rural setting, although being just within a short drive to the town of Monroe and Woodbury Commons Outlet Center. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, although the breakfast was a bit disappointing. The property seems to be fairly new, so no complaints there, except for the lack of soundproofing. We could hear everything in the adjoining rooms and hallways.g
My husband and I used Sleep Inn for the night of our wedding. They went above and beyond for us and our guests! The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. And the shuttle service offered to and from our wedding for our guests was outstanding! We could not be happier with our experience.
Great for a night but wallsAre extremely thin. Make sure you stay on a high floor. Staff is very friendly and they have 24 hour tea and coffee which is a nice addition. Hotel is modern and extremely clean. Would be nice if the king room had a bathtub too in addition to a shower.
We stayed at the Monroe Ny location for our wedding occurring at a nearby venue. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating. Mark (group sales) was communicative and thorough. The hotel is in great condition, modern touches and definitely comfy. The morning breakfast and lobby area exceeded expectations for an efficiency hotel like this. All around great experience.
The hotel was very comfortable and updated. The beds were especially comfortable and the size of the rooms and the bathrooms made it all the more enjoyable. The rates per night, though during peak fall leaf season, were surprisingly high. We were there for a wedding in the area, so the hotel served us well.
Why was it excellent. The people the service, look I was ready for not a great stay after the first night when we got there at 2 because of the tapping from the vent, but from Marc the overnight manager to Rocio, to the Sales Director everyone was amazing. My family and friends had over 10 rooms or more for my nieces wedding. Honestly been to many hotels including resorts and high end and the difference is always the staff and the staff here from the front desk to house keeping and kitchen staff, polite, kind, courteous helpful!!!!Thank you thank you thank you!!!! Amazing job my entire family loved it even the bride and groom who stayed there after the wedding. Without your support we could not have surprised them, so thank You thank you thank you!!!
I visited the Sleep Inn over the weekend and enjoyed my stay. The clean, modern look hotel is off NY state route 208 and close to the Woodbury Premium Outlets and the Brotherhood Winery. My room was clean and well kept and the Wi-Fi was okay. Highly recommended for weekend getaways or shopping trips.
The Sleep Inn in Washingtonville was a great location for our wedding venue. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They made every effort to get us all in our rooms so we could enjoy our reception and the shuttle was an added plus. I would heartily recommend the hotel for your stay in the area. It was clean and very up to date.
We decided to get a last-minute hotel near my sons weekend baseball tournament. We were pleasantly surprised to find a new property so close to the field! It was a clean, comfortable room for the 4 of us, with a great free breakfast. They were also nice enough to accommodate a late checkout for us. Highly recommend!
Really nice hotel, very clean. The staff are the friendliest people. Great location, feels like I’m deep in the woods enjoying all nature surroundings. The bed was so comfortable. Also, this hotel guest Wifi provides very fast speed, fastest I’ve seen yet. I can definitely recommend this hotel to someone, the nightly cost is not bad for the quality of services being provided.
This is the 2nd time my family & I have stayed at this hotel. It is a beautiful hotel, clean & modern. The management & staff are extremely courteous & professional. The facilities had a security personnel on in the evening which gave us an added sense of safety during our stay. The breakfast in the morning was well stocked, the eggs, sausage & biscuits were fresh and warm. The value for the stay was well worth it. You won’t be disappointed.
My family and I stayed at Sleep Inn and Suites this past weekend for a nearby wedding. All of the staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. They shuttled us for the wedding and even made an extra trip. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are in the area.
We were very pleased with the Sleep Inn in Monroe, NY. Our family and friends booked over 50 rooms during this past weekend as we celebrated the wedding of our son. The staff ,beginning with Marc who helped coordinate the bookings and the shuttles to the Security Guards, was fantastic! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle driver anticipated our every need. We experienced a wintry mix Saturday night and the driveway crew was out shoveling and de-icing way before the snow stopped. We felt so welcome and safe the entire weekend.
I have never heard of sleep in before so I was skeptical. Staff was friendly, room was clean, bed was comfy. There was a shuttle driver who was very pleasant and we knew we’d have a safe ride back. It’s rare that a continental breakfast has any gluten free options, but this one did. Name brand Gluten free bagels that I heated in the microwave. Such a night morning treat.
While planning our trip to the NY area we found this hotel via the Choice app. This hotel is a compliment to the Choice family of hotels. It is the cleanest, best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The staff made us feel like family. When a nor’easter hit, dumping 26 inches of snow, they worked non-stop to keep the snow cleared although it was, at times, a losing battle. Then they dug each guests car out from under all the snow. If you want a truly great experience, stay at this hotel. Thank you to the entire staff for making our vacation so memorable. We will be staying here again :)
Very Nice! No complaints at all! Rooms were clean, large and a good design. Mine had a microwave and minifridge. No noise through the walls or the door. Breakfast was included and had a good selection. There is no pool, but I was told there are plans to put one in, just not sure when. Very happy and we plan to return on our next visit.
We booked this hotel back in November for a late May graduation at West Point. The location was perfect - it was a quick ride to post. Staff was wonderful - helpful - courteous. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Anyone looking to book for next years graduation - this is a plus. Not far from Central Valley with all its restaurants and stores - and the road in to post was always clear sailing.
Reception staff friendly and helpful. Shuttle service convenient Beautiful view but windows in rooms don’t open (even on upper floors). Patio/balcony would be a welcome addition. Outside fire pit area needs more shelter from weatherBreakfast mediocre at best. Toaster barely worked, not enough food for all guests. No whole milk available. Butter frozen.
Little gem in the woods. Beautiful surrounding, near West Point. Modern and new. Bed was invitingly comfortable and the linens smelled fresh. The room was clean and new. The modern style shower was roomy with a sliding barn style glass door that was so spotless I didnt think there was a door for a sec. Wish they could let the water temp get hotter though. Definitely my number 1 pic for the area.
A pristine hotel as this location opened just eight months ago. Accommodations were excellent as was service by all staff members. After a long day, we were experiencing a little difficulty operating the television, not being familiar with its network. Before we could hardly hang up the telephone requesting assistance, a staff member was knocking at the door to assist! Wish I could arrange to be here in the fall to view the breath taking views of the area.
What a wonderful new hotel! It is clean, beautifully designed and the staff is friendly. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us a bottle of champagne! How thoughtful is that? They also drove us to a restaurant we wanted to go to. We will definitly be back!!! Thanks for the wonderful time!!!
Very expensive for nothing special. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The access road is too narrow for two cars to pass by. Not enough parking in a crowded lot. The food is below average and the same as any other mediocre hotel chain. I will say I like the spacious shower with glass doors. Much better than the traditional tub and shower curtain combo.
First of all I would like to thank the staff members at Sleep Inn for the great job they did accommodating all the guess for my daughter’s wedding. The wedding was at our home here in Monroe , the shuttle bus was fantastic, very accommodating. They were very helpful and distributing all the party bags to everybody in their rooms. The staff was amazing able to help everybody with anything they needed.Thank youSleep Sleep InnMike and Kathy Adams
This hotel was awesome, staff goes above and beyond!Rooms very very clean, modern, beds are extremely comfortable.I can’t say enough about the staff from the desk clerk to kitchen to security.Professional, pleasant, helpful.Highly recommended this hotel!Tens stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We stayed at the Sleep Inn during a recent visit with our son, who attends West Point. It is a quick, easy commute to West Point and in area that has shopping and restaurants. The hotel was new, clean, quiet, and had a nice continental breakfast. The warm cookies in the afternoon were a nice treat as well.We will definitely stay again and I have recommended the hotel to other West Point families!
I was expecting this to be a typical Quality Inn type place but everything was really modern and clean and went well above my expectations. Also the price we paid for the room was really affordable!! They even had a keep fan on mode on the unit which is SUPER important for me!
Absolutely appalled at the treatment of a friend on her wedding night. The lack of proper and ACCURATE communication between staff is nothing short of pathetic. The audacity to bad mouth a guest AFTER she had left, to her family and friends no less, is nothing short of despicable. Not only will I never be giving this exact location any business, I won’t be giving any Sleep Inn Hotels or Hotels with connections to the company any business. Your lack of empathy and lack of apologies have also not gone unnoticed. Please refresh yourselves on good customer service and simple human decency!!
The Manager Amanda & the Female Night Manager were Excellent 👍 in Customer Service. The Public Bathroom should have been available for Guest Visiting People who I booked their stay in the hotel during their stay here in New York. People who are Handicap would have severe difficulty walking all the way down to a private hotel room on the second floor to use the bathroom even during the Covid 19 Pandemic. This is an extremely bad idea to ask visitors of Sleep Inn to go use the hotel guest private bathrooms in their Hotel. I didnt have this problem at The Hamptons Inn in Woodbury, NY nore at any other Resort or Hotel I travel to in The World. That particular policy regarding public bathroom use on the first floor changed my mind about bringing any more guest to stay at Sleep Inn.
Pleasant stay. Comfortable bed and pillows. They accommodated us with early check in which was a plus because we were attending a wedding about a half hour away and we’re able to check in and get ready after our 2 and a half hour drive. Enjoyed the continental breakfast the following morning.
I decided to try this hotel for a quick, one night stay for my work crewe. They were very impressed with how spotless, and modern everything was, not to mention the frindly and courteous staff. While they didnt spend too much time in the hotel, other than sleeping, it left a great impression on them! We will definitely be back! Great job!
The Sleep Inn located in Monroe, NY is a new, clean hotel with an updated look. Staff was very accommodating, allowing us to check in early to give us time to get ready for a nearby wedding. The next morning, the breakfast room was very crowded with everyone enjoying their free, delicious food, so a meeting room was opened for us to be able to sit and eat. We enjoyed our stay very much.
We were not to happy with the stay due to the loud noise from what sounded like a dryer running all night in the laundry room on the first floor. When we were checking in we asked if any other floor was available we were told no. For the price paid I would of liked a good nights sleep.
Excellent, immaculate hotel in the area! Stayed for a baseball tournament close by. Hotel was convenient and the hotel owner was friendly and you could tell how important it was to him that his hotel and property were well maintained and the people staying there were happy and content. Gave us a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant. Thanks for everything!!! We can’t wait to come back!
The place is about 6 months old and so it looks great outside and inside. The staff are ok, not as warm as I expected. Only one kid that was there Monday morning July 23, 2918 that said good morning and very friendly. I should of ask for hook his name; I thought her was going to be there the next day, Tuesday. The rest of the stuff wasnt rude or anything but not friendly either, just doing their job. The rooms are pretty and clean, which its what concerns me the most. Nice spot and pretty view of the forest if you like mature like me. Peaceful too!
Great place to stay! Everything I enjoy in a hotel - friendly, efficient staff, spacious, pretty room, clean modern bath, comfortable bed, pillows, and linens, high speed Internet, great breakfast that even caters to food allergies (gluten-free selections a huge plus!) quiet location set back and away from road noise, easy parking with large enough spaces to keep my car from getting dinged.
We stayed at this hotel following a wedding at Arrow Lake Lodge. There didnt seem to be a lot in this city, though its beautiful with rolling hills and mountains in close proximity. An easy, nice drive to this hotel. Staff were pleasant, particularly Brittany at the front desk who was especially kind and accommodating. I dont know that well have the opportunity to stay in Monroe again, but if we do, well definitely stay at this Sleep Inn!
We were pleasantly pleased to find this brand new Sleep Inn. We had spent the day visiting wineries with friends who live in the area. Hard to find accommodations in this part of town. Hotel was spotless, quiet and very accommodating. Nice ready to eat breakfast in the morning.
A very clean hotel and friendly front desk people. Spacious room, comfy king size bed & pillows. Phenomenal hot & cold breakfast included with stay. And breakfast is open from 5:30-9:30am.It’s in a quiet rural area. Close to the city without the hustle and bustle! Late checkout is available too, just ask.Definitely returning next time I’m in the area.
Unfortunately the Tornado hit my town pretty bad. I was on the phone for 4 hours desperately trying to find a hotel for my family. Once I called Sleep Inn Suites the representative Brittany was soooo nice and welcoming, I felt I hit the lotto lol. The Manager Rosalie was AMAZING making my stay extremely comfortable for my family. Lala at breakfast always had a huge smile on her face and went out of her way to make my 8 year old smile at 6am, helping him with a snack. Even Ana the room attendant was extremely sweet and would ask if we needed anything to make our room more comfortable given the nature of our stay. I mean even the maintenance workers smiled and greeted us.My family felt like they were on a vacation rather than displaced during the storm damage, and I TRULY APPRECIATE EVERYONE THERE FOR MAKING THAT POSSIBLE!
Beautiful new Hotel clean rooms , spacious and comfortable beds The Manager Amanda helped us get shuttle to and from the place The Shuttle driver offered to stay extra time and make extra trips for us at the end of the night Breakfast food was great Front Desk staff very professional and helpful
Late check in was fast and I was in my room within 2 minutes. Room was clean spacious and enough for a nights stay. Thinking about rebooking in a few nights. Breakfast available was more like a snack but Im ok with it. Keeps me ready for bikini season.**Rosie at the front desk is the best. She was understanding and listened to the guest needs. She is an asset to the company.
Very modern, clean and bright. Great free hot breakfast and lounge/coffee area. The downside was that in my opinion, this hotel was very expensive for the area. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere and there is nothing to do nearby....I think $100 less a night wouldve been a good bargain. Way overpriced! Especially with no pool!
I live in NJ and my band had a gig at Bourbon Street Bar & Grill in Monroe. The bar was 10 minutes away from the hotel so I booked a room for one night. My wife and got to the hotel and you can see that its BRAND NEW. We checked in and was greeted at the desk by a friendly associate who checked us into our room. I forgot to bring toothpaste and the associate gave me a complimentary tube which was great. We got to our room and it was nice and clean and again brand new.All in all we had a very good stay. The ONLY thing that prevents this from a 5 star rating is that the walls are PAPER THIN!!! As I said my band had a gig the night we stayed over AND it was daylight savings time so by the time my wife and I got back to the room and got settled it was around 3:00 AM. We turned on the TV and were laying in bed talking at a normal volume and all of a sudden we heard a KNOCK on our wall. I thought it was someone at the door at first I looked at my wife... she looked at me... and I said... Did someone just knock on our wall? to which she said Yeap. So we felt the need to then keep our voices to a whisper since again... we were talking at a normal level before disturbing our neighbor. Early that next morning we could hear everything in the hallways and our knocking neighbor sneezing and coughing getting ready to leave. Bottom line if your looking for a nice, clean, friendly staff... this place is great.
Quality of towels were thin and felt cheap. Noise due to party at 1:30am. Called Front desk but no one picked up. Brought it up to front desk attention next morning and she responded that there was a party last night. We were trying to get some rest from a long drive but that never happened. Will not return after receiving such poor service.
Updated and clean rooms. Need bigger closets or garment racks for wedding guests. You can’t hang anything in the ridiculously small closet. BYOB and pack healthy snacks, because there’s no alcohol or hot food onsite, just a bar across the street that you have to dodge traffic on a dark road if you want a bite to eat or cocktail. It’s a step above a basic hotel. Also no pool and just a tiny outdoor space for guests to hang out. They need a bar/lounge onsite. Great free breakfast buffet though!
Sleep Inn & Suites Monroe close by to Woodbury is nice and surprisingly quiet place to stay at even though theres busy road close by. The receptionist was friendly, the rooms were really clean and cozy, looking like in 4* hotel. I took long hot shower in the barrier free shower and slept like dead on high, soft bed. Yummy breakfast was included in price, so was parking by the building and the whole inn was covered by free wi-fi.
Clean, comfortable, contemporary inn , personable and accommodating staff, attractive decor, great breakfast bar! Good value; conveniently located - tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area not far from the Route 6/17 Quickway. This will be my first choice when visiting Orange County.
Hotel was spotless and clean. Location is quite remote if you do not have your own transportation. Shuttle service to Woodbury Commons is hit and miss as it depends on whether they have a wedding to cater for that day. Would rather pay more to stay at a hotel that is closer to Woodbury Commons.
The Sleep Inn was the perfect hotel for guests sleeping over for our wedding at FEAST. Marc was a joy to work with coordinating the block and keeping track of those who booked on their own. They graciously extended breakfast for our friends who slept late and provided shuttle transportation to and from the train station for our city friends, the venue for some of our guests and the after party across the street so we didn’t need to walk across 208. Highly recommend!
We stayed two nights at the Monroe Woodbury NY Sleep Inn while traveling to a wedding in Washingtonville. The hotel was conveniently located off Rt. 17 and within minutes to the reception facility. The hotel also offered a shuttle bus to the reception. The staff was very friendly and courteous and the room was very clean. We will stay at the hotel again when visiting family in the area. Thank you.
Brittany welcomed us warmly, explained the area explains where we would find various restaurants. Brittany asked if we were Choice Hotel Members. We joined. This was our first experience at a Sleep Inn. Your new hotel was extremely clean. Cleanliness is the first priority.
Above average , extremely accommodating. Very clean. Great location. The staff went above and beyond especially after realizing we made reservation at wrong Sleep Inn ( one town over ) helped us to cancel original one and gave us complimentary upgrade and class A service.
Newly built in the last year. Nice hot morning breakfast. Drove several times to Military Academy (USMA) and commute was pretty painless. Good lighting around building gives safe feeling. Handicap room worked well for me except no place to hang garments. Had some trouble with tv remote due to angle of tv and where chair was located. Even tried changing batteries in remote. This was probably the only problem I could mention. If youre there to work and sleep everything was deluxe! This was my second stay at the inn. Prices went up April 1st, so I had to move on to make room for the seasonal Trunk Slammers who have more money.
Had to cancel two rooms the morning of the reservation due to illness. Had booked the rooms through Expedia. Called the hotel--they said they could not refund my money because it was past the 24 hour deadline to cancel. Expedia then advocated for a waiver due to the fact that I could not travel. The hotel refused to give even a partial refund. They charged me $338 per night per room, so I paid almost $650 and never stepped foot in the hotel. I understand having to abide by a cancellation policy but this was an unavoidable issue.
The Sleep Inn in Minroe, NY is a brand new hotel. The hotel is beautifully designed and the beds are amazing! I never realized how bad my bed was until I slept there. Extremely comfortable, the rooms were quiet and the staff was phenomenal. It was a welcoming experience during our stressful cross-country move..
Terrible customer service. There was a rowdy wedding party booked the same weekend. I cut my stay a night short because the hotel staff was unable to quiet the crowd and were unable to provide men with another room. Additionally, they would not refund me my 2nd nights charge.
I do not click on the #10 (excellent) radio button when doing evaluations unless something was, indeed, far beyond the usual -- that is, unless it exceeds the bounds of good, and even great, service. There was no problem at this hotel. It was fine. It was okay. No problem.
I was pretty disappointed with this hotel, and I would not recommend them to someone with a family. I called 2 days before our arrival and asked for 2 cribs, as we were traveling with both of our children. I was initially told they could accomodate one crib request, when I asked why that was, I was put on hold and when the woman picked up the phone again she said she could provide 2 cribs for us. When we arrived there were no cribs in the room. When we asked the front desk, we were told they only have one crib for the entire hotel. I would have been less frustrated if the person I spoke to on the phone would have just told me that upfront. Also, the bathroom was not well cleaned prior to our arrival, with pieces of the last guests soap and hair in the tub.

2022-03-22A very clean hotel and friendly front desk people.

2021-12-26Rooms are priced at a good value. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was beyond my expectations. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was clean. It was also close to the highway and major attractions in the area. Would definitely stay again. The hotel was decorated very nice for the holidays and that made me feel like I was at home.

2022-05-29The room is OK if rather basic, the service is as indifferent and uninterested as it gets. They really don’t seem to care about their guests, which is a shame.Breakfast was great, and the location is fine if being close to Woodbury is your priority. For a one night stay it works, no more than that.

2022-04-26Overall the hotel was nice. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. Rooms were very nice and clean. Unfortunately sound carries through from the adjacent rooms as if the people are sitting next to you.

2022-07-03Made reservations for 2 rooms attached, when I arrived I got 2 separate rooms not attached. Beverly at the front desk was very rude and kept on saying nothing at hotels are guaranteedAnd even refused at first to refund me!So if youre looking for a non guaranteed room then go visit this hotel :)Or be smart and get yourself a normal hotel to stay at.
