My husband and I decided to educate ourselves about a sleep number bed. Maureen at the showroom was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the different styles. It was a very good experience at the store .
We were greeted in a friendly manner, had the advantages of the mattress explained to us and were shown how it feels. All in all a very pleasant experience.
Maureen was very knowledgable. She gave us all the time we needed to try out the mattresses and make our selection.
Maureen was lovely and so personable. She made us feel comfortable and wasn’t pushy. She was very knowledgeable as well.
When i bought a pillow i was told that i could return the pillow within 30 days of purchase. I try it out wasnt happy with it i call the store to ask if i had to bring it back to the store they told me i have to call customer service. I call customer service and they told me i cant return it i can only exchange it for something else and i told them the store told me i could. I call back the store and told them they wont return my money she told me i have to tell them i dont want it. Now Im stock with an expensive pillow and i would never buy anything from the again. The Albany store needs a better training.
My son purchased a,bed 4 weeks ago. He spent a few thousand dollars. The delivery date was set for this past Thursday. He received an email that same day stating the delivery wasnt taking place because 1 piece had not been delivered. 1 piece!!! After hours on the phone ,speaking to multiple people. He was offered a delivery date of May 28th!!! 4 more weeks away. They refused to overnight the missing piece. They refused to say where the piece was coming from. This experience is horrible and inexcusable. Spending thousands of dollars, still have no product or a satisfactory resolution. Furthermore was not able to speak to anyone in a management level. Shameful.
The Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly...this bed is the most comfortable bed i have every tried I love the fact that they actually spray the beds with disinfectant between each customer...its truly one of the best experiences that I have ever had while purchasing a bed
We were very clear we wanted to check sale beds, but agent pushed things w-a-y beyond our budget. She didn’t listen when we asked for no upsell or frills. We decided on a king size, but she did all paperwork (including getting financing approval) for a queen.Ice person but needs to listen to the customer!
The mattress is excellent but one important factor they did not tell me there are magnets that hold the mattress in place and if you have a pace maker, you need to check this out to be sure it will not interfere with your pace maker.

2022-05-17I bought a mattress almost 3 years ago. It’s terrible. My wife and I both hate it. It’s not comfortable at all. The settings go from too soft to too hard so we have no comfort. I asked the store and online if they do a credit towards a new one I was going to buy the best one they had. They both said no. I’ll be danged if I get burned a second time. I have been on $400 Amazon foam bed that was better. Go somewhere else I paid $3,400 and hate it the top of the line is $11,000.

2021-07-07After careful consideration and research I went to The Sleep Number store to make my final decision to purchase a new bed. Maureen was knowledgeable, enjoyable to work with and no pressure. She showed me the body mapping that clearly showed my back pain area and the relief as she changed the settings. I am so excited to receive my new bed. I think it will be life changing. I appreciate the time she took and the care to cleanliness and safety measures during the process.

2019-12-02BEWARE: CAUTION-The problem exists with the quality for price of the bed!We only used our bed 6 mths a year and in under 4 years the bed died / failed. In that time we had someone inflate and deflate the bed regularly as instructed by the company.I ordered the replacement parts costing over $500.00 to have them send new FAULTY FOAM and a TOPPER that has black foot prints on it.Original Salesman was fantastic, and the ladies on the help line are nice but could care less! I am a Spinal Cord Injury client and have lived without a bed for over a month and prior to that the bed crippled me - with failure in its quality of materials!Respond to owner on - I have spent endless hours on the phone trying to get this solved as of now 10/3 still no bed and 3 time the company failed! YUP- I got to pay for this type of service! Sleep Number Bed_not a good product better to by foam at Walmart at least its cheap and you can change in the time it takes to ride to the store!As of 12/2/19 No Resolution - but tons of my time eaten up and health poor and wore out- I am currently purchasing another bed!

2021-06-27What a fantastic and knowledgeable staff! Pearl was unbelievably helpful and answered all of our questions, supplied useful information but was not pushy in any way. End result, we bought the bed that is well suited for all of our needs. We also enjoyed a brief conversation with her and her coworker ( until more customers came in 😉) which just enhanced the overall great experience.

2021-09-01Customer service at the Sleep Number store in Crossgates Mall, Albany NY, is horrible! I bought my bed from them, which included the dual temp pads, and only the bed was delivered. I called and spoke to the store many many times to find out where the dual temps were and kept getting told they were trying to have someone bring them to my house and install them. Three weeks later and still no dual temps. Finally they were delivered via UPS, but again, no one to install them. Now we’re on our 4th week with no dual temps and no one’s called me back to let me know when someone will be out to install them. I shouldn’t have to call everyday to get a status update when paying several thousand dollars! Not to mention, the 2 guys who delivered the bed were extremely rude and wouldn’t show me how they were installing the air pump for the bed. My advice, go to the store to try out the bed but DO NOT order it from them!

2021-04-02I went to the Crossgates Mall Store 3 times before I was able to arrive at a time where someone was able to offer services. However, when I got a salesperson it was the branch manager, a kind and knowledgeable lady. Overall experience and attention was good and almost undivided but was interrupted twice. She was distracted once or twice with apologies and commence service after an apology and short interruptions. I was satisfied with employee competence, knowledge and service levels.

2021-08-06Maureen is super helpful and takes time to help you get to know the product and make informed choices. There was no pressure to buy, she knew her stuff and guided you wisely. She was a product user and believed in the product herself.

2019-09-05We had a great experience purchasing from the Sleep Number store at Crossgates in Albany. Our sales person Marika was excellent. I did a lot of research prior to going to the store and she answered all of my questions honestly and never made me feel rushed. I would recommend this location. I havent received the mattress yet, but everyone I know who owns a sleep number bed loves it, so Im confident mine will be great too.

2021-08-31I was in about 3 months ago tried 3 beds. But didnt get anything. Went back in Saturday and I left with the contract for an ILE. So looking forward to the delivery of this bed. I recommend albany ny sleep number and Maureen to anyone.
