Still waiting on a refund from a mattress that was placed and canceled less than 24 hours. It was never sent out for an order, in fact they stopped the order hours after and no services rendered and was canceled with the sales associate it was purchased from “going right back on your card.” Saw many other reviews about the same issue with the same sales associate. Called and he seems to be “off” everyday we call. What’s sad is we have bought from them before and we had family surprise us with a mattress which is the reason we needed to return it. It’s been 11 days. Very unprofessional. Save your hard earned money for another business.
We just purchased an adjustable bed from Sleepworks. We had very specific requirements and spoke with Joe about what we were specifcally looking for. We wanted a Split Queen adjustable bed. There are not many manufacturers that make that size. Joe answered all of our questions and we tested some of the mattress options. We liked the feel of the organic latex best.We shopped around, looked at other brands and stores. Joe followed up with us to see if we had any additional questions. He was thorough and informative on different types of mattresses. We even called a few times and spoke to Greg about the dimensions.We ended up going with a King Size organic latex bed that was only split on top. It has two adjustable bases so each side can be adjusted. Joe helped us secure 0% financing and promised delivery in 2-3 weeks.The bed arrived on time, there was no chemical off smell of any kind.Unfortunately one of the bases was damaged from the manufacturer. The delivery men promptly called the store and I was promised a new base in 2 days. It arrived as promised. The delivery men were professional. One gentleman asked if he could wash his hands before lifting my mattress so he did not get it dirty. The experience and customer service was very good. The mattress is extremely comfortable and we are loving the versatility of the adjustable bed. If you are on the fence I highly recommend it. If you are looking for a mattress I recommend shopping at Sleepworks.

We went to the patchogue location for a mattress for my son who is having spine issues, Greg showed us amazing customer service and took his time helping my son find the right mattress. I was also still in my scrubs from work and he took 10 percent off my total to thank me for my frontline service! I will 💯 be going back there and highly recommend them.
Joe B is a wonderful man! I had bought an expensive latex mattress that just wasnt right for me. I was upset, but Joe made it all better by recommending and giving me a great deal on a new hybrid mattress. I love it, even has the reinforced sides I wanted. Joe B, you are the BEST
I am a disappointed customer. I ordered a mattress that met my needs for a supportive and yet comfortable mattress perfectly. Unfortunately the mattress that was delivered was from a completely different manufacturer and is NOTHING like what I ordered. Although Sleepworks assures me it is the same mattress, that is not accurate. The mattress that was delivered is as hard as a rock and I am unable to sleep on this. Sleepworks did offer to swap what was delivered with the mattress I ordered from the showroom. However, in light of the pandemic that is not a wise option for me. These are nice people. However, beware that you may not receive what you order.
Currently not very happy with our purchase at all!Made a purchase at the Massapequa Park store. We were very much satisfied with the piece of furniture that we purchased and the mattress. When it came to ordering the futon cover that’s where it all went downhill. The fabrics swatches that they had in the store were all over the place disorganized and to top it all we chose for patterns of which none of them were available. They were either out of stock or discontinued. If that was the case discontinued and wire this watch is still in the store? Then I went to the website they they had several different screenshots of covers. Again my wife and I chose four different ones from those photos. Spoke to Joe in the store who got back to us a day later and said that those names of each pattern did not exist! Then why are they on the sleep works website under futon covers? Then my wife asked that same question why are they in and on the website the replies was of those are just images! Images, what does that mean if I search something on their website and it pops up sitting full-time covers available and if they are not and not actual covers why are they there. Right now my wife and I are at the point of discontinuing this piece of furniture and would not recommend anyone to go and purchase anything from Sleepworks. This is from a very dissatisfied customer and I don’t know if I would go back again
Before decided where to buy an organic mattress I did extensive research online, but I wanted to be able to feel the mattress before ordering. Sleepworks was the only brick and mortar store I could find on Long Island that had a selection of natural and organically made mattresses. We worked with Greg when we made our purchase. Very knowledgeable and explained the differences in mattresses and materials very clearly. Got a GREAT Black Friday deal on multiple mattresses and pillows. The store itself is beautiful. Go here if youre looking for an organic mattress, you wont be disappointed. Delivery crew was professional and clean. Highly recommended.
Bought our futon in 8/20Delivered , assembledFirst time we opened it up was 12/21Screws fell out, WAS NOT ASSEMBLED correctly and could not open it because wood was strippedThe owner was not accommodating when we called to explain this situation he blamed us for putting too much weight 🤣 on itHe was suppose to follow up with someone to fix it but never didBewareOne star for the convenience of parking
Great products and great salespeople! Over the past year we have bought 3 mattresses and 2 adjustable bed frames from Sleepworks. Products are super comfortable and reasonably priced, and Greg is a wizard at solving problems. Plus, mattresses are environmentally friendly!
My new mattress was delivered today from Sleepworks. I havent actually slept on it yet, but I wanted to write a review based solely on the service I received from Sleepworks. My husband and I were looking for a latex mattress, and we discovered that Sleepworks is the only store on Long Island that sells latex mattresses. We spent some time there on a Saturday afternoon, testing mattresses. Our salesman was Greg, and he was extremely helpful in guiding us to the correct mattress based on our preferences. Greg was very knowledgeable, and he encouraged us to take as much time as we needed to find the correct mattress. This is an expensive purchase, so we wanted to be sure that we were choosing carefully and properly. We placed our order, and were advised that the mattress would be delivered in approximately two weeks. The timing was spot on, and even though there was a major snowstorm over the weekend, our mattress was delivered today, the Tuesday after the storm. After the deliverymen left, I discovered that I did not receive the mattress protector that was supposed to be delivered with the mattress. I called the store and spoke to Mark, who advised me that he would look into the situation and call me right back. When he called me back, he told me that he was driving right over and bringing me the mattress protector! Considering that I live on the North Shore, and the store is on the South Shore, I thought that Mark went above and beyond in the customer service department. Thank you to Greg and Mark from Sleepworks!
I had purchased a mattress in April 2014. I became dissatisfied with it for probably about a year now as it began sagging in places. Having back problems exacerbated the situation. I remembered I had a guarantee on the mattress and so contacted Sleep Works about the problem. They told me to take some pictures of the problem and the tag and email it to them. I expected a long wait and some way they would try to figure out how to wiggle out of some portion of the cost as in this was not an inexpensive mattress. To my surprise and Delight they contacted me within 2 days and offered me a replacement mattress equal or higher in value or the option of upgrading if we chose to pay the difference. We went in the same day, and chose a new mattress. It will be delivered next week. They even gave me an additional $300 off which was part of the original deal on the Mattress I had purchased before..Love these guys. My fiancé and I knew we needed to buy a new bed for when we get married, and I move in with her. She currently has a sleep number bed with which over time has lost its comfort. She does not even sleep on it anymore and instead sleeps on her couch. She did some research on the Internet for sales and quality mattresses. She saw that latex mattresses were highly rated, and she found out that Sleepworks was the only store to carry these beds. We went today to Sleepworks, and we were assisted by Joe. He was very friendly, very knowledgeable, very helpful, and not a pushy salesman. He told us all about the latex mattresses, how they were organic and non-toxic. He showed us the different models and comfort levels of each. Even the different pillows that were also latex. We made a purchase today on a queen size model and look forward to being able to sleep on it, with hopefully great restful sleep every night.
My girlfriend and I went into this location to purchase a mattress and we were greeted by Greg. We were unsure with what kind of mattress to get but Greg help us out a lot. He was very knowledgeable and he answered all of our questions perfectly. We were so happy with his help that we ended up buying a mattress that night. I was so happy that he helped us out because he made it so easy and stopped our mattress hunt that has been going on very long time. Cant say enough about this place, Daughter has allergies and was looking for an organic mattress without getting robbed. Spoke with Greg and Joe and they got me a great mattress for her and we got a king for us without the harmful stuff found in the regular mattresses. I researched for a long time and it was either pay thousands or go with the traditional. It was nice to find so many mattresses there that did not have the fire protectant stuff and off-gassing (which my daughter seems to be allergic to) at very reasonable prices we are very happy there was not odor when they came and unwrapped them. Thanks guys!
We had been to many mattress stores before we came to Sleepworks. Greg was our salesman; he was very patient and had us try all the mattresses we were interested in before we made a final decision. My wife is pretty picky and had certain criteria for the mattress. I found Greg to be honest and did not pressure us into buying something right then and there. Since my wife and I have severe back pain we spent a two hours just trying the different mattresses. Greg explained all the benefits of the mattresses we were looking at and explained the different types of latex. We received the mattresses and are completely satisfied with our choice. My daughter liked our mattress so much that we purchased one for her. Greg again had her try the others to make sure that is the one she truly wanted. They are truly better than other natural organic mattress stores we had gone to.
It took me three visits to sleep works to pick out my bed, they were very patient with me. I chose the Hemingway bed the construction of the mattress is the way it should be with no memory foam And layers of springs latex and cotton.Now I sleep With less pain .What an incredible mattress.... the Patchogue store.

First, their website is done really well - highly functional and user friendly, with excellent pics and information. Secondly, the store itself, is a very nice showroom, with plenty of options to physically look at, especially for cabinet and Murphy beds...Thirdly, the service was awesome! Greg was tremendous in showing us a multitude of choices for our unique situation, giving us the time and insight to make a proper choice. The music was great as well! 😉Overall, a great experience!
The first cabinet bed that was delivered was so badly damaged we refused delivery. We were told they might have a top from a cabinet with a damaged base. That was unacceptable, we didn’t spend that amount of money for repaired merchandise. The second bed looks ok but opening and closing the bed is extremely difficult since the rails are bent. The mattress is comfortable but it is an ordeal to operate. Once the store made the sale they weren’t interested in customer service or feedback.
Great in store experience. We, went in looking for a Murphys bed. Greg, our sales person was knowledgeable and patient in explaining the differences between Murphy beds made out of wood and those made of press board. A lot of whats out there is quite eye opening. Its not cheap but then again you get what you pay for. Knowing that they stand behind their products, that its not going to squeak in a year nor break apart gives me great peace is mind. Thank you Greg, Ill be making all future purchase with you.
Just ordered an Aireloom California split king bed with adjustable base today from Greg. We went yesterday and priced out this bed however we werent sure we wanted to buy it. Greg was not pushy, told us to come back if we changed our minds. After doing some research and pricing out a similar matress at Raymor and Flanigan and Macys, we realized that Greg was giving us a great deal on an awesome mattress. Greg was patient and showed us other mattress so we were sure on what we liked with fantastic customer service. This is a really great place, lots to choose from and incredible prices with outstanding service.
I recently purchased a mattress from Sleepworks and am very happy with the quality. The store is extremely nice inside and they have a wide variety of mattresses. The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. I dealt with Lisa and she was great! Would highly recommend this store and will definitely be going back for other purchases.
Just received my new King sized mattress. From start to finish, my experience has been outstanding. Greg in the Massapequa store was knowledgeable, friendly, and just a pleasure to deal with. No pressure sales with a great deal of knowledge of his products. Without a doubt would recommend to even the most selective of buyers.
This place is very nice and expensive bc there is no competition elsewhere but in NYC and New Jersey!My experience was not great at all. A tall man with a mustache helped 1st. I didn’t like his demeanor so I left. I gave up and decided to go to New Jersey. My husband talked me into going back to Sleepworks and give it another try with a different salesman. So reluctantly I went and yes this time we delt with a different salesman (the owner’s brother) I thought great! Someone who will be nice! Yes he was nice, personable and funny too. So we bought a 6,500 Murphy Bed. The salesman informed us it would take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. As the weeks pass us by, my husband decided to give Sleepworks a call and ask them the status of our Murphy Bed (wait for it) they tell him the bed is not going to be in until the END of AUGUST!!! WHAT?!? At that time I was having my family in from Texas. I was freaking. So my husband suggested we take the floor model and he (my husband) did not ask for any money off being it was a floor sample. It was clearly their fault because the salesman (owner’s brother) didn’t know it would take that long for that type of Murphy Bed. They gave us a very HARD time because they had to pay for it to be dismantled and it was going to cost them around 800 dollars to do it. So my husband suggested he would pay for half of the dismantling. So they (owner) agreed to it. Now, when it arrived it was loaded onto the bed of a pickup truck! It was not wrapped up in any way! The men who brought the Murphy Bed were great! They were nice courteous and careful not to damage the Murphy Bed. The men did an excellent job at putting our Murphy Bed together! They were excellent!!!! We will NOT be recommending this place to anyone else. The OWNER was very RUDE and told my husband if anything was wrong with the bed my husband would have to call the company where the Bed was made from. They are not helpful at all they just plain greedy and mean!!!!
Greg was incredibly helpful and patient with my questions. He explained to me the benefits of their mattresses and was very honest and transparent. The mattress prices can be surprisingly comparable to the ones offered at discount furniture stores- Greg explained that Sleepworks simply doesnt have the ridiculous markups that other places do, which is why they can remain competitively priced at a much higher quality.
My wife and I went into Sleepworks in Massapequa looking for a futon for our spare bedroom. Sleepworks had a great selection to choose from, and Greg made it super easy to come to a decision and get what we were looking for. We were able to walk out of there in les than an hour having purchased a new futon. I would definitely return here for future purchases, whether it be another futon or a new mattress, and I would recommend this store to friends and family. And if you go in ask for Greg. He was a great help.
We purchased a latex mattress. The owner was knowledgeable about what makes a quality mattress. The showroom was well stocked and easy to navigate. The mattress was delivered on a timely basis by a courteous and efficient crew. We strongly recommend Sleep Works for any mattress needs.
On September 4th, 2017 I was thrilled to finally buy my two year old daughter her first big girl bed. As I am very concerned about natural products, I entrusted Greg at Sleepworks with the best for my daughter. A few weeks later my husband picked up the mattress only to find that a coil had punctured through the top surface of the mattress. Feeling very disappointed I called Greg back at Sleepworks to assist me in remedying this issue.Unfortunately, Greg was not very helpful. After some time passed trying to track him down with several calls, I finally got through to him and was advised to send him pictures of the mattress that he would forward to the manufacturer. After weeks had passed and no follow up from Greg, my husband and I made several attempts to call him back. Finally Greg notified us that the manufacturer Fedex’ed the mattress and Lisa will reach out to us with more information. This actually never happened. Two more weeks passed without Sleepworks, Greg, or Lisa reaching out to us.Naturally, my husband and I were very upset with the service and frustrated that after more than two months passing, Lisa finally called back with confirmation that the mattress was sent out by the manufacturer. Greg, assured my husband that we would be compensated for the inconvenience. When I reached out to Greg last week to follow up, expectedly, it was to no avail.As you put research into the mattress you select, I encourage you to put similar research into where you make your purchase. Never would I recommend Sleepworks to anyone. Hopefully these words urge you to think twice before making a purchase with Sleepworks.
I just bought a new full size bed for my son. I worked with Elwin, I did everything by phone. Everything went smooth with delivery and my son loves his new bed. Great customer service and even better new bed!
I recently purchased a bunk bed for my son, I couldnt be happier with the quality of thisbed. When compared to other bunk beds this one is definitely built to last. The customer service was more than helpful with both the purchase and pick up. I would recommend Sleepworks above any competitor. I will be back to purchase for myself soon!!!!
Buying a mattress is harder then purchasing a car!!! I first bought a mattress from a chain store. A Serta hybrid, with memory foam. I hated the sinking feeling plus it made me hot while I was sleeping. So they had a good return policy and I returned it for a full refund.Then I did some research and I found sleepworks had the biggest selection on long island on latex mattresses. Plus there mattresses don’t give off those nasty gas smells.I was greeted by joe in the Massapequa store. He was so helpful and answered my thousand questions!! ReallyI’m such an indecisive decision maker especially while purchasing a mattress bc u keep your mattress for atleast 8-10 yrs. (more then a car lease) in addition to sleeping on it 7-8 every night. Joe was awesome, I was in the store for atleast 2 hours the 1st visit. Then I still went back 2 more times before my purchase. He was patient,informative,honest and no pressure. To the purchasing, the whole thing was smooth. Delivery was right on time. They call u the night before with a two hour window and call u the day of 15 min before.Thank you again JOE for all your help and patience.I ended up purchasing the Eastman House splendor mattress. I love it and it was the best fit for my husband and I. It is a perfect medium feel.Go to sleepworks in Massapequa they have 3 floors of beds in a beautiful store. You will end the search for the perfect mattress!! Good luck

I had a truly great experience today at Sleepworks of Massapequa. I went there specifically to try the Pure Talalay Bliss beds, seeing that they were one of the few places in the Tri-State area who carries them. They have a very wide selection of many times of beds from Latex to Comfortaire to Memory Form. It was impressive. Greg was my sales person and he was a pleasure to work with. I at no time felt any pressure, he allowed me to take the time that I needed, and also he was extremely informative and knowledgeable. I ended up purchasing one of the Pure Talalay Bliss Mattresses along with the Prodigy 2 adjustable base for a good price. I highly recommend Sleepworks in Massapequa Park for all your mattress needs. I left there comfortable and confident with my purchase and I am looking forward to the arrival and my first nights sleep on my new bed.
Buying a matress is very stressful. My wife and I wanted a high quality mattress that would last a long time. Greg and Joe were extremely helpful, informative, low-pressure salesmen. We had to make a warrenty claim and Sleepworks made it really easy.

We placed an order with Sleepworks for a bed for my elderly Mother. Gregg the manager assured us that he would do everything in his power make sure Mom was comfortable and Happy.He suggested an organic latex bed that was all natural from a rubber tree and hand tutted. Cost $2000+.Well one day after delivery is was clear the mattress wasn’t a fit for Mom.We call Gregg back to arrange an exchange for a different bed for our elderly Mom who is sick and confined to a uncomfortable bed.Greggs responsethe first time we called was “sure no problem, let me just check our Warehouse for what’s in stock”Well two weeks later we are still waiting for Gregg to call us back.. we call every two days and magically Gregg isn’t available and hasn’t called back.Gregg the manager of sleepworks is taking advantage of my elderly mom and not a honorable man. He doesn’t do what he commits to do, I recommend not doing business with this untrustworthy person and business..

Salesman wouldnt get off the phone - maybe because we were two women? no one else in the store. guess I should have listened to my friend who had a horrible experience at a different location - will never return and I suggest you dont either.
Greg was amazing! I was obviously the first customer of the day and he was just wonderful. Explained everything - gave me some terrific choices. He and Lisa went out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. I left the store with the thought that these are two people who enjoy what they do. Knowledgeable, courteous, professional - I cant say enough good things about my experience.
What a terrible experience! customer service was horrible! I called the day before and the day of to make sure my order was in. I was told that everything was in but my full size mattress and not to worry that they would work something out when I get there. When I got there I paid an additional $50 for a different mattess and according to them a better one. I get home and start setting up my sons bed to then realize that the twin mattress they gave me was the wrong mattress! I return to the store to be greeted by Joe the salesman that helped me when I placed my order. He was very unprofessional! He told me it wasnt his fault and that there was nothing he could. I return to the store for a second time now to get the correct mattress. I get home, take off the plastic and realize the mattress had a rip and is dirty(looks like I was given the floor model). we looked at the seal on the plastic cover and it clearly looked like the plastic had been resealed! I then return to the store for the third time requesting for a new mattress and a $50 refund for all the inconvenience. Well I was then told that Im not getting anything back because then they would be taking a loss. A loss! really! what about all the time that I lost running back and forth because of their mistakes!! Then Joe proceds to tell me that he will give me the $50 but that his employee will get fired for giving me the wrong mattress. I couldnt believe a salesman would say that to a customer! Joe was the one who made a mistake! He ordered the wrong mattress, but took no responsibility instead he blamed his employee who was just doing his job by giving me the mattress that was on my order. Greg the manager apologized and said there was nothing else he could do. Sent for my mattress to be brought upstairs and walked away from me. This is how they treat unhappy customers due to their mistakes. I will never shop here again and will never recommend this store to anyone!
I cannot recommend this place due to issues we had with our mattress. the company that made our mattress was bought by another company, so they would not honor the warranty .This is where they could have made things right. We were told that we were stuck with the mattress .Personally I liked the owner and he was very nice to but I will never buy a Natura mattress,they do not stand behind their bedding..
I wanted to wait about 2 weeks to rate my experience along with my new Naples bed. When my boyfriend and I came in we were greeted by an older gentleman (sorry can’t remember the name ) , he was very knowledgeable and helpful! It took me about 10 mins to find my perfect cloud- like feeI mattress (perfect for combo sleepers ,side/back/stomach sleepers) and was sold from that point. Before sleepworks We went to a store in the next town over and spent almost 2 hours with nothing that I was satisfied with . So I was pretty static to find a bed that I wanted and signed papers right away.Also, please please re-read and make sure you pay attention that your information is correct and everything you signing for is something you actually agree to before leaving .Delevery -you do have to wait a week for your mattress after you purchase it . But everything was perfect along with timing and the delivery guys were so helpful and kind !

It was a great experience dealing with Greg Longmuir. He really knows the best bed for your body. I told him of my wifes hip problems and had a great recommendation. He also has been involved with local events supporting our veterans, which I truly respect. Support a store and gentleman that cares about veterans.
Sleepworks is supurb! Great customer service and great prices. I visited this location in Patchogue/Medford a couple times. Shopped around at a number of local stores, and online mattress companies. Im extremely happy I came back to Sleepworks. By far a cut above the rest. Way to go!!!
The products are fine but I was extremely disappointed by the not only the fact that one of the two items I ordered was extremely late, but more importantly the poor customer followup. The product was to be delivered in 4 weeks, and instead became about 12, supposedly due to being backordered. Although the manufacturer was late than the bed went to the West coast first unlike prior. Then it sat in the NJ warehouse for another week, then the local shipping trucker for a week. The number of phone calls from me and basically never from Sleepworks were many. At the end, I even had a deliver scheduled for Sat. and that never happened. Finally, this past Tuesday part of the bed arrived with no mattress. I again had to call, as one would think after all the aggravation, Sleepworks would have just called to ask if I was pleased. If they had, I would have told them I still need a mattress. But no, it was me calling them!!!!!!
I purchased an adjustable bed from sleepworks for $4,930.48. I had a headboard also purchaseed from sleepworks a year ago that the adjustable bed could not be attached too. After several phone calls to the store, Gregg finally made a housecall to try and resolve my issue. He left without fixing the probklem. He led me to believe he was going back to the store to figure something out. Never heard from him again. The customer service with this store is absolutely non-existent. They sell the product but do not stand behind it. My advice to anyone looking to shop for a mattress to look elsewhere. Never again.
Its been a month since we purchased two natura mattresses from sleepworks. We thoroughly enjoyed the process at this huge store. So many to choose from at first it was overwhelming. However once we told Anthony what we were looking for he knew exactly how to help us find our perfect mattresses. We were were like goldilocks and the three bears but instead of porridge we found a mattress that was juuuuuust right!! You could say anthony was as supportive as the matresses we bought. So spring into action people and get a new mattress at sleepworks in massapequa!
Wow - what a great store. Im generally not the type to write reviews-but I had such a wonderful experience I felt it was worth sharing. The store is beautiful, so spending the 20 min or so that they recommend you lay on a mattress is peaceful in itself. This was my 3rd purchase from Sleepworks - wish I had more bedrooms! Actually, I wish more stores offered the buying experience they do.All the salespeople I have dealt with in the past were wonderful & knowledgeable. I dealt with Anthony (the owner) this time, who spent hours with me and took the time to explain the positives and negatives of all the different types of mattresses (wonder if hes looking for any sales help - I now have the knowledge!!)I was looking into the latex mattresses - and he convinced me it is the best type of mattress made (for many reasons). I was a little hesitant due to the price of latex over some of the others - but now that Ive had it for a little over a month, I couldnt be more pleased. I havent slept so sound in a long time. I had a foam one previously and would wake up hot or sunk in one spot. Now I pretty much sleep thru the nite, no hot spots. As for his pricing - it couldnt be beat. I came prepared with an idea of where his pricing should be, and he blew it away before I could even try my bargaining skills.I also purchased a bed frame from him. Again, his pricing beat out the ones I saw online (his quality is top notch - cant say the same for the ones I saw online). Lastly, his delivery time/service was awesome. I was in a pinch and they came thru - exactly when they said they would. Honestly, I wish every shopping experience went as nice and smooth and was as pleasurable as this one was.Thank you to everyone at Sleepworks......
Great service, great guys, they are really knowledgeable and very nice. They know everything about layex and organic mattresses, I shopped all the city and found them to be most honest and they know their stuff. I tried the Natura and Latex Bliss but settled on the Naturepedic. They were all very comfortable but I liked the Quartet best. I really felt secure buying here, the place is AMAZING! No commercial signs, looks and feel like a chalet with some of the best decorating for a store. You have to at least visit this place, calm and no pressure and the guys there are just fabulous!
Me and my boyfriend searched all day on MDW for the best mattress, since he has back issues it was a little difficult to find one best for him. We went to Macys, PC Richards, Sleepys etc. we made a stop at Sleepworks right before settling for a clearance mattress at Sleepys. SO GRATEFUL. Joe at Sleepworks was extremely helpful & more knowledgable than anyone we spoke to all weekend. We ended up with an AMAZING brand new Lauren Ashley mattress, box spring, mattress cover AND the frame with 10 year warranty for less money than just the clearance mattress at Sleepys & PC Richards. We will NEVER EVER go anywhere but Sleepworks. The sales team wasnt pushy at all, actually enjoyed speaking with them; and we had an above great experience purchasing from them. Id highly recommend them to anyone looking for any type of mattress. THANK YOU SO MUCH SLEEPWORKS

I am in LOVE with SLEEPWORKS!This is my second purchase from Sleepworks and I could not be more satisfied with a company.The customer service, knowledge and the quality of product they sell is incomparable to any place, especially the big business mattress/furniture store that is just looking to sell you junk....I will never stop for bedroom furniture anywhere else!!!My new Pure Bliss Plus mattress is the most amazing bed I have EVER slept in. I sleep like a new person. And the bedroom furniture is georgous and of excellent taste ans quality.Greg in the Massapequa location took the time to find me not only the mattress that was right for me, but the furniture to fo with it. He took his time with no pressure at all.The new Zen Cabinet Bed is simply georgous and so unique... everyone that sees it in my home wants one! Its awesome!!!Im so grateful for my heavenly night sleep and I owe that to Greg at sleepers, so thank you!!SLEEPWORKS is the only place to shop. I highly reccomend if you are looking for mattresses and bedding....trust me this is the place to go.
Shady, shady, shady business! Ordered a twin mattress and was told that it wasnt in stock so they would get back to us within 7 to 10 days to schedule a delivery. After 11 days we called to get an update and were told that they never would have said wed have a delivery scheduled within 7 to 10 days and that they mattress will arrive any day now and that if we dont hear from them by Thursday (14 days after the order) to call them back. Well, they did not call back, so we did. No answer on Thursday. We called again on Friday and got a machine. We immediately called our credit card company to dispute the charge.Well after a week after disputing the card charge we received our first call from Sleepworks (22 days after the order). The man said that they saw that we are disputing the credit card charge and apologized, and that the mattress is now in (how convenient!) He didnt mention anything about a restocking fee, that was left for another call the following day when another man called saying that the mattress is in and they will have to charge a 30% restocking fee!When we called back to argue that this would be unfair they refused to budge. We find this to be an alarming practice as several people have complained about the same thing here on Yelp and on other sites. They take the payment, claim to order the mattress, never call and never deliver it - do they even ever order it? Then they pocket 30% after the order is inevitably cancelled by the customer. Stay away. This is a rotten business.
Very comfortable place to try out your new latex mattress. They went above and beyond to make our experience a positive one. We found them to be more family oriented in their service compared to the big box retailers.
My cabinet bed is a great piece of furniture. It looks very attractive when closed up, and when open. When we have company, everyone wants to sleep on it. I am so happy with the purchase. It takes up very little space when closed, and is easily transferred from cabinet to bed.

I went in on March 22 and ordered a bed frame (head board and foot board) mattress and box spring.. Here we are April 25th with a number of calls and nobody calls back or gives you a straight answer.. So far I am not happy with this place and would not recommend if you need something ASAP.. maybe if you have months to wait.. this is the patchogue store
Nly store on LI that had the P&L adjustable bed I wanted to see. Joe was GREAT. Lots of info. Bought the bed and cant wait for delivery & setup. Lots of frames ans mattresses.
Same problem ...terrible customer service...totally dishonest and shady! Ordered a Murphy bed November 8 2016. Called around 8-9 weeks to inquire because I never heard from them..only got 8-10 weeks its on your receipt. Called at 11 weeks...there is a delay of 2 weeks because the manufacturer moved their factory and didnt tell us. Called at 12 weeks...manufacturer ran out of white paint..it would be another month. Told them I dont want it then. They then supposedly called manufacturer and told me that the no paint was a mistake and it would be here within the week. Now its 4 months ...all they did was delay by constantly lying, saying it was coming in each week. All along giving delivery dates. I dealt with three salespeople and they just cover for one another . Never initiated a single phone call to me and refused to give me my money back. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge. They never acknowledged the dispute. Now they are calling to say my bed came in like nothing has happened. Stay away from this place!

2022-07-05I purchased living room furniture from Sofa’s To Go. Greg was my salesperson. He was great to work with. Most of all he didn’t follow us around bothering us while we shopped. We got our furniture within 3 days and we are vert satisfied. I would highly recommend them.

2022-07-12There was a wide selection of organic mattresses to choose from at Sleepworks. I ended up going with a Naturepedic mattress and it’s great. The bed was too plush at first, but Greg coordinated a layer swap for me with the company and now I love it!

2021-10-19We went to several places looking for an adjustable king size bed. We ended up at the Massapequa sleepworks and met Greg. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and wasnt pushy about us purchasing the bed. We are so happy that we chose sleepworks! We definitely recommend everyone going there. 2021-08-15Nice experience during purchase. when our son’s box spring broke during first week, we called the Patchogue store to get it replaced. The person on the phone “Sal” was very rude and wouldn’t put a manager on the phone. Sal also refused to give his last name. Went to store to speak with a manager about our problem. Spoke with Elwin Page, said he was the Owner and manager, said in 50 years of experience he never heard of a box spring breaking and they are not responsible. We were told when we bought our Two mattress, son’s full and our King, that we had 30 days and if we weren’t happy we can return with no issues, so no worries. We decided to then return the 2 mattresses and take our business elsewhere. Elwin informed us that all sales are final and there is absolutely no returns. I guess our salesman was misinformed. Terrible experience with this company.

My husband suffers from back pain and our 20 year old mattress was spent. What a phenomenal recommendation to consider adjustable beds and mattresses that are recommended for back support. We had gone to see The Clean Bedroom in Manhattan and the Avocado Showroom in Hoboken and nothing compared to what he had in his store!
