If you want to see and learn about a lot of NYC in one day without having to walk 500 miles or freeze your butt off on top of a double decker bus this is the way to go. Bryant our tour guide was amazing, funny and a wealth of knowledge. Really fun and unique way to see NYC. Hotel pickups are A++++
Great personalized tour. Frank was our guide. He admitted to being a little rusty after 20 months off due to the pandemic. He was very passionate and committed to giving our group a special experience. Some feedback:1. Windows in the bus were very dark2. Our guide spoke over us in the bus without his mask- a microphone may be a better option3. Our guide asked people in our party to pull up GOOGLE images of locations and markers we visited...shouldnt be an ask.4. Our guide was not easily identifiable. Maybe a t-shirt or jacket with companys logo would be appropriate.5. Much has changed in 20 months. Understandable that our guide was rusty, but he was not aware of some new tourist attractions.Lastly, lunch break at Staten Island Ferry station was too short with very few options. Waiting in line for food and a restroom break are included in the allotted 30 minutes.

If you are seeking a tour that provides a VERY informative overview of the city in a safe and personized environment then I would highly recommend Small Bus Tours.There was a concern with weather predicted on the day of our arrival but Guy called us the day before and made excellent suggestions for an alternative plan and he was spot on. We had a gorgeous day and Guy ensured that we still arrived on time for our schedule event. While my husband and I were nervous at first, Guy took excellent care of us.We cant say enough about our tour guide Bryant. This guy was a wealth of knowledge about the city, has a great sense of humor was very open to questions and comments. Bryant does not make this a self guided tour but gets off the bus with you and explains sites along the way. For example, Bryant boards the Staten Island Ferry with you, tells you were to stand and will even take your picture. Additionally, Bryant makes the best recommendations for meals and food items that you cant get from a book. Thanks to Bryant, I have no doubt that my scale will be showing elevated numbers! For years to come we will be talking about the excellent experience that Bryant provided.We also need to thank Catherine that was there for our security and would watch our items for us when we would get off the bus.If you are looking for a well informed, safe guided tour, we highly recommend the Small Bus Tours and suggest you ask for Bryant.
Thank you so much to Frankie and Guy for making this tour truly the most amazing and memorable experience!It was my first time in NYC, and I only had 3 days so my decision to book a tour with Small Bus Tours NYC was definitely the right one as there was no way I could cover so much on my own plus I got to learn so much about NYC from the true New Yorkers. It was my lucky day as the other shuttle was full so I had my own private tour with Guy and Frankie plus a supervisor, Catherine, as each group is supposed to have one.Frankie is a very knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide with such a fun personality. I had the best time ever spending these 6 hours with him exploring one of the most fantastic cities in the world.It’s a driving tour with plenty of stops and walking around, and I seriously don’t know how Guy and Frankie plan all the pick ups in this crazy traffic as we never had to wait even a minute for our shuttle.You do get to see all the main attractions but, of course, there is so much more to see and explore.We spent quite a bit of time at 9/11, and it was such a touching experience, and I will definitely remember it forever. It was so special to hear everything from a person who was right there when everything happened, and it’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 19 years....All the personal touches made this really special, and I can’t wait to go back to NYC!
This trip is worth every dollar & then some , our driver Guy & tour guide Bryant are VERY personable and knowledgeable. We had a great time .Being in NYC for my first time from Ohio. This was definitely a great way to see the City.
This tour is utterly amazing! The combo of Frankie guy and Catherine are top notch! From Times Square to Washington square , Chinatown and city hall and especially the ferry and 9/11 memorial...the entire experience was sublime. Guy really knows how to take care of his passengers and Frankie is a nyc expert of the highest measure....thank you guys for making feel part of the “family”!!!
My book club from Austin Texas took this tour.Our guide was Bryant. He was amazing and the tour was excellent. Gave us a great overview of the city.
Thank you Frankie and Guy for a fabulous afternoon on the tour of downtown Manhattan. Small but mighty with excellent customer service from free iced water and WiFi on board to recommendations for eating and other activities. Five stars without a doubt
What a tour of our life. I give this company the 5 star they deserve. I booked this tour for my wife and 3 children. They took us to every site the y advertise. The drive and tour guide are so polite and have so much knowledge of the city. We really enyoenj the boat ride. Book this tour. Thank you so much small bus tours nyc

2022-06-12Fun * Personalized * Knowledgeable * Safe and Worth every penny! I wanted the best tour for my friends first NYC visit. Bryant, Gus, Catherine and Black Beauty exceeded expectations. Bryant knows his history and delivers 👏 with charm and puns. This tour felt private, our group plus another family from Chicago. 8 people total in tour including teens and adults. Bryant was able to keep us all engaged.

2022-05-01If I could give 10 stars, I would do it!! This is the way to see NYC, especially if you are short on time and dont want to miss the highlights. Bryant, our tour guide, was great fun!! We ended up being late due to our complete lack of understanding of the subway system, but a call to Small Bus Tours, and they picked us up on the way!! I cannot recommend them highly enough! Even if you plan to explore New York more fully on your own, the best money you will spend is on this tour. It will make deciding what to re-visit so much easier. Make it your first stop. Thanks to Bryant and Guy for a fantastic day!!

2022-06-06We had a great time on the tour! Bryant was hilarious (hope you like puns) and shared lots of interesting history and facts about NYC. He also spoke Spanish which was super helpful. The tour is all about seeing a little bit of everything.. Its fast-paced, and you dont spend too much time in any one spot. It also had some fun surprises! The bus was comfortable, the A/C worked great, and the company waited for us because we were running late. I have been to NYC many times but never took a guided tour... Im glad I finally did because I learned a lot!

2022-06-04If you are looking for a fabulous tour of New York you must take this tour. My husband and I were on this tour May 21. Bryant was our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, funny and passionate about New York. Guy was the driver and together they made for a very enjoyable tour! We learned a lot and had great fun.

2022-02-14This was the best thing to happen to our NYC trip! We were riding in comfort and with great company in a bus with leather seats, phone chargers, and water. I would recommend this tour to anyone going to NYC especially if it is your first time!

2021-10-30A smaller bus compared to other bus tours around the city made this tour so much better. Bryant, our tour guide is fantastic!! He is so knowledgeable and funny. He made the tour so fun while teaching about the city. 10/10 would recommend. Plus they do hotel pickups which is so convenient since parking in the city is so insane.

2021-12-19Bryant was amazing on our tour today! My teenage girls (19, 14 and 14) have never been to NYC. I booked this tour based on all the steller reviews I saw online. And it did NOT disappoint. In fact, within the first few minutes, my oldest told me ... this is like school, but fun! He kept us 100% safe and even though his jokes were admittedly bad puns, laughing almost all day long. We learned a ton and while I dont want to spoil anything, I can tell you, we were all talking into the night about all the cool factoids we learned during his dynamic and truly authentic presentation. Even though we had a blast, the 911 component was somber and so well handled. I cannot recommend this tour company more. They picked us up from our hotel, made sure we were well cared for and showed us all the best NYC has to offer!
