Wonderful experience at the new Small Door UWS.We were excited to join the SmallDoor vet family based on so many great reviews and they did not disappoint.The setup in the exam rooms is very comfortable; Luca was off-leash and was able to check out the room, look out the window.The vet checked Luca carefully and thoroughly while he was being comfortable and talked to us and it didn’t feel rushed. I brought a list of my concerns about Luca’s health and she gave us great options and recommendations over every single question.The vet tech took notes while we discussed and was very friendly and professional. Both of them handle Luca very gentle, and the demeanor of the vet and vet tech was calm, relaxed and kind.A few days after the visit we stopped by to pick up Luca’s medication and the staff at the reception desk remembered his name. This small gesture makes the whole experience great.We signed up for the Premium Plus Membership and I feel confident and at ease for my only child Luca’s health.Thank you SmallDoor family🧡🧡🧡

The staff is amazing. This Is the best Veterinary clinic in NYC for all fur babies especially mine. My furry son needs long term care and I know he will be well taken care of here. This place is nice and welcoming. The monthly membership is affordable. If your pet needs testing/procedures on-site; the staff keeps you updated with pictures 🐶 and progress comments🩺 through out the day.

Love everyone at the office! I’ve been taking my kitten here and our vet is Dr. Witter. We love her so much! It’s so hard finding a good vet who loves cats and that’s mainly why I chose her. Her bedside manner is amazing and she’s very informative and I trust my baby in her care. Our tech Liz is also amazing. Along with everyone at the front desk (Bradley, Andrew and Andre). The office is also gorgeous and very chic. Highly recommend.

This veterinary practice is the best hands down. They are very professional and very friendly. Dr. Zahng listened to my concerns and she addressed each one in a very knowledgeable way. She took her time examining my pet and then she started explaining everything in detail. After she finished her examination, she gave me a detailed discharge report that included Future visits and how to maintain my pets health. Yes, this practice is a membership based practice but worth every penny. I didnt pay for anything when I visited them because my visit was covered. Think about this like pet insurance, you pay in advance. I REALLY recommend them especially if your pet is on the way to hit its senior years.They have different plans that you can choose from. Thank you so much again for your great service and I will be looking forward to seeing you again.

Fast and thorough exam, courteous, welcoming, and explain things in detail. The staff will not allow you to leave without you understanding details and its a very clean environment. I would highly recommend Small Door Vets for any pet family.

Superb all around! My cat was very I’ll and the doctor and staff were thorough, kind, patient and gentle. Also it’s a beautiful and tranquil environment which really soothes both the parent and the animal and very personalized attention without rush or overcrowding.. I’m so glad I found this wonderful oasis of care in NYC!

I love the Smalldoor team! So friendly, informative, and they put you at ease in a pet emergency. I just switched vet clinics and could not be happier with my decision. The plus is 24/7 telehealth care in case of emergency. The space is immaculately clean and inviting. You’re offered water or espresso upon arrival, and no long waiting to get seen. Thank you for keeping me calm with my senior pup, Dr. Laura Ritter is so informative and helpful!!

From the moment we walked in until the moment we left we were treated cordially. The staff and the Vet provided excellent service. All of my questions were answered and I wasn’t rushed. My dog has been vomiting and with diarrhea since I went to this vet and got the bordatella vaccine. The guy gave my dog the oral medication instead of intranasal. I wish they could have at least provide me the side effects of the oral medication! Which NONE of them did ! This is the first time my dog has a reaction side effects because he never had it orally but intranasal. The place looks fantastic but don’t get distracted please ask questions when it comes to medication.
