Smiles for Life is a state of the art dental facility with wonderful people who create a warm welcoming atmosphere. The staff is professional and friendly from the minute you walk in the door. They are always on top of their game!I recently had an hour and a half procedure and Dr. Johnson was incredible. At one point I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep. His chair side manner/technique was calming but very thorough. He’s a great dentist! I felt like I was in very good hands. His chair side assistant was friendly and extremely efficient. The hygienists are amazing also. And Angie know what she’s doing I never question her, I totally trust her.I highly recommend Smiles for Life. Can’t say enough!
My dentist has moved to Saratoga! I have been a patient of Dr Juracka for 5 years. I have always been pleased with his work and how he handled the doctor/patient relationship in a consistently kind and professional manner. I am sorry to see him go. I wish him well back in his home town and give him my unconditional recommendation.
Dr. Johnson and his entire staff made me feel comfortable and cared for. As someone that has always had anxiety going to the dentist I felt compelled to give a review of Dr Jurackas practice. The entire staff is warm and welcoming and really makes you feel at ease throughout the entire process. I can honestly say that one of my biggest insecurities is my teeth and Dr Juracka took the time to understand how I felt and get me on a plan to make me feel confident every time I flash a smile. I hardly ever give reviews on anything but if I could give Smiles for Life 10 stars I would. Thank you so much for everything!!! If you are like me and have been struggling to find a dentist, I cannot endorse Dr Juracka and his staff enough. Give them a chance and take back your smile. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Johnson and his entire staff are wonderful! I am very scared of dentists after a couple of bad experiences. this being said I needed to have work done. I found Dr. Johnson and I could not be happier. I have a lot of complex issues and he takes all the time I need to answer any questions I have. His staff makes you feel like they have known you forever. Dr. Johnson is a true artist, my teeth have never looked better and his practice of taking care of the foundation, is exactly what I needed. I now know all the time and money I have put into my teeth is worth it!!!!!!!!!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Johnson for two years. Before going to Smiles for Life Dental Care I hadnt been to a dentist for quite awhile. I was anxious about going and embarressed I hadnt taken care of my teeth. Dr. Johnson and his staff really care. I felt no judgement, only kindness and support. They helped me to start and maintain good oral hygiene and throughout my treatment I was always comfortable and in no pain. Im so thrilled with the results. I have a bright healthy smile for life!
Dr. Johnson and his staff are true professionals and are excellent in their field. I came to Dr. Johnson to perform some cosmetic work, and I cannot be happier with the result. Not only is Dr. Johnson a perfectionist, but his staff are incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming - you can tell that everyone in the office genuinely cares about their patients, and are happy to answer any questions or concerns that arise. Im not really sure where to begin, Ill try not to make this awfully long. If you are looking for a new dentist, then look no further. I have gone to three different dentist in the past 3 years and just couldnt find someone that really understood me and what I have gone through. Dr. Johnson finally was the one. He not only understood, but in my opinion went above and beyond. The entire staff is really there to help you. I am so happy to have found this office. When I moved to Saratoga Springs from MA, I needed a new dentist, and Dr. Johnson was recommended to me. From the outset, I was impressed with his friendly manner and clean explanation of the dental work that I needed. To reinforce his explanations, he has equipment which allows you to see your gums and teeth on an overhead screen. While performing the dental work, his expertise is highly evident. In addition to Dr. Johnson, his staff is caring, professional and concerned with making the patient comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson and Smiles for Life Dental Care.
I started going to Dr. Johnson about 12 years ago, at that time I was looking for yet another dentist. From the time I was about 8 years old I have had many issues with my teeth and many bad experiences to go along with them. Dr.Johnson and I discussed all my options, did the work and I havent needed to go back for anything other than cleaning since. I have complete faith in Dr. Johnsons knowledge and skill along with his pleasant and capable staff. Everything is done in that office to make your experience as comfortable as it can be.
I found Dr. Johnson after one of my front teeth broke off almost to the gums. I was visiting from out of town and couldn’t have been more terrified. He quite literally created a tooth for cosmetic purposes to hold me until the root canal. Fast forward 9 months later and my whole dental health has changed for the better. My mouth has never been healthier. I’ll be coming from Washington just to see him.I cannot forget to mention how absolutely FABULOUS his entire staff is. From the door to the chair, I can’t imagine anyone finding a better experience.
Dr Marc Johnson DDS an all of his staff are wonderful. When I called his office for an appointment the office staff was very welcoming and very helpful. The day of my appointment when I walked in everyone I came in contact with made feel very relaxed. Dr Johnson came out into the waiting room sat down and asked many question to get me relaxed. His examination the most thorough i ever had. The hygienist was great. I highly recommend his practice . Also his assistant was wonderful.

I will admit that I am a tough patient for any dentist. It doesnt matter if Ive been to you for one year or ten. When I walk into the dentist office all of the old fears creep back into my head. Everyone at Smiles for Life has handled this and continues to handle this with the up most care and compassion. I came in with a big job for Dr. Johnson and he hit it out of the park. What a magician! A craftsman! I wanted a complete redo of my uppers and lowers. Being one with a severe gag reflux (the reason not being a candidate for plates), Dr. Johnson was able to do a masterful job! He and his team put me under for each stage of the process, yet the finished product changed my life! No longer any constant pain, able to eat foods I havent eaten in years and WHAT A SMILE! He and his team have a bedside manner that makes one easy but gets the job done. Kudos!

This is by far the best place I have ever been for dental care. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They all care about your dental care and are up front about the cost and dental plan. Went there with tooth pain, expecting to be sent somewhere else after x-rays, etc. Was I ever wrong! Dr. Johnson took one look, pulled the bad tooth! Zip! Done! No more pain. In fact...didnt even hurt while he pulled it. He explained what was wrong, then showed me, then told me what he was going to do, then even showed me a video about it, then...he did it. It is such a relief to go to a doctor that takes the time to do this. Then came the bill...another surprise! I had a tooth pulled six years ago...his bill was less. I could not believe it. I can, without reservation, highly recommend this dentist. It is no wonder he is so highly rated...he deserves it.

For anyone who is afraid to go to the dentist, go visit Dr. Johnsons office. He is the top of his field and his staff is amazing. Last time I went for a root canal, I had a pain free experience.
A clearly talented professional. Yet also a personable and enjoyable person to get to know.The entire staff top to bottom are great.Although, fair warning. He could not get into Ohio State University so he is a Michigan fan, and his wife Angiemay be even more rabid.

2022-03-07My teeth had been stained from using a whitening mouth piece that I left in for too long. I was so embarrassed, some of my teeth were straight brown. After only ONE visit to this beautiful office, I have white teeth again. I cried I was so happy. Every time I look in the mirror I feel grateful towards them. Thank you so much!

2022-01-11I was a patient of Dr. Jurackas when he worked in Pennsylvania. Its now time for my annual dental check-up and it hit me hard that he moved out of the area. Dr. Joe was always pleasant, very easy to talk to (felt like an old friend), and did great dental work for me and my family.I was extremely impressed with the way he treated my sweet friend, Mary who has severe dental anxiety. She needed to have a lot of work done and I convinced to her to see Dr. Juracka. I was so impressed that he invited me to sit with Mary and hold her hand during his assessment and treatment. Dr. Joe was so kind. He explained everything in a calm and respectful way. We never felt rushed. Mary was completely comfortable despite the significant work that needed to be accomplished. She was calm and relaxed, and even felt comfortable enough to go to her third appointment without me! This was life changing for Mary. She no longer dreads the dentist, and she has a beautiful smile now as a testament to Dr. Jurackas expertise.

2021-10-09I highly recommend this dental practice. To begin they are very nice people.They are very thorough in asking you questions to meet your every healthcare need and make your experience there as comfortable as possible. The hygienist was excellent at explaining everything prior to cleaning my teeth and answered questions along the way. Dr Juracka was great at diagnosing any dental issues that need to be followed up on with him later.

I had found myself in dental distress for years searching for a lifeline bouncing from one bad dentist to the next, thank goodness I found my way here ! There is a level of comfort and care at Doctor Juracka’s practice that cannot be found in other dental practices. 2021-10-14I recently moved to the area from out of state, so I had to pick all new medical and dental providers-which is a huge task. I had gotten a deluge of flyers about dentists near me and just had no idea who to choose. Smiles for Life had a dentist who went to school at a Midwest University I was familiar with, so I chose them, and am I ever SO glad I did!!From the initial phone call to schedule an appointment, to the immaculately clean, Beautiful, Comfortable office layout, to the Dental Assistant to Dr. Juracka, DMD, I can truthfully say that this was one of the BEST dental experience Ive ever had in my 60-something years. (And no, dear reader, you dont get to know the # behind the 60).I highly recommend Dr. Juracka and Smiles For Life Dental Care. (And Im usually afraid of Dentists!)

2020-07-10For most of my life I have hated going to the dentist to the point where I stopped going for over 10 years. Bad experiences with dentists and hygienists at other offices caused a lot of anxiety and I feared repeating the experience. I decided to give Dr. Johnsons office a try a couple years ago and as a result I now LOVE going to the dentist which I didnt think was possible. Dr. Johnson and his staff understood my fears and were extremely supportive. They are so wonderful and friendly that I sincerely look forward to seeing them! They dont rush my cleaning and they chat with me the entire time which puts me at ease. Dr. Johnson is top notch and answers all my questions. The office is always pristinely clean and theyre doing a fantastic job keeping their patients safe in the office during these unprecedented times with COVID. Im just so happy I finally found a dentist that actually cares about ME!

2020-06-10I highly recommend Dr. Johnson ! I had veneers that I wanted replaced. I was unhappy with how they looked, but very nervous that I would be unhappy with the result again. Dr. Johnson was the third doctor that I went to and I liked him and his staff and office immediately. He assured me over and over again that I would be happy with the result. He gave me a beautiful set of veneers and I looked like myself again and my self confidence came back! It was well worth the investment and the staff made it such an easy experience. I would do it again in a second. The office is beautiful and easy to find. Though i live near Albany, I switched to their office for all my dental needs. They are wonderful, caring and top notch.

2019-08-16I would like to start by saying that Dr. Johnsons cosmetic dentistry is truly outstanding and arguably some of the best in the industry. Dr. Johnson was my childhood dentist when I lived in the Saratoga Springs area several years ago. He provided me with a set of high quality veneers that still look as good as they did 16 years ago. Since moving out of the area, several reputable dentists have commented on the unprecedented quality of his work. Having lived in some of the top metropolitan areas in the U.S., Ive yet to find a dentist who can even come close to delivering the same quality as Dr. Johnson. I recently returned to his practice after 16 years, where I was pleasantly surprised that he remembered me and my entire family. The purpose of my visit was for him to assess the remaining life of my veneers. I was expecting him to say that I needed to replace them after 16 years, but rather, he did a through exam and was very honest in saying that they were perfect! Needless to say, I would highly recommend him for his honesty, his friendly character, and his high quality work!

2018-08-02I live about 1 1/2 hours from Saratoga. So why would a reasonably sane person drive a 3 hour round trip to go someplace that most people dont want to go to at all? Im 70 years old so Ive been to a lot of dentists in my life. This is the best. Not only is Dr. Johnson a fantastic dentist but he has the most advanced technology I have seen and an excellent staff of hygienists supporting him. I should say here that I really liked my previous dentist but I moved 5 hours away from him.Despite the long drive to Saratoga, it actually is a pleasure getting my routine visits. My teeth feel better when I leave. I get the best treatment. I get excellent advice on what I need to do to maintain my dental health. And Im treated like I really matter. I couldnt ask for anything more from a dental office.

2019-03-26Dr. Johnson (and everyone I came in contact with at the office!) was extremely professional, kind, knowledgeable, patient, and caring. He did the most thorough dental exam I have had to date, and reassured me that he would be able to fix my dental problems (misfit crown needing replacement, issues related to teeth clenching, etc). I feel confident in his skill, comfortable with his bedside demeanor, and relieved I found a quality and trustworthy dentist. Highly recommend!
