Just got my Svago massage zero gravity recliner. By far the best chair I have ever owned! Dealing with Malcolm at Smith Contemporary was a pleasure. He made the process so easy and seamless. I highly recommend both the chair and his store for your furniture needs.

This place is truly a hidden gem! If you are looking for high end, or unique, furniture or home decor, please do not pass them by. Owners are onsite and they are so kind and helpful! I love my new table, media console, clock and pillow! Will definitely go back!

The staff is patient, knowledgeable, and insightful on what might work for you. They helped me find just the right recliner that worked for my personal needs, without pressure and with professionalism. I am very happy with my choice and will come here for all my contemporary furniture needs. I feel as if I have a friend and design partner at Smiths.Update: April 2022. The IMG recliner I purchased in 2020 has been a joy. And so I just returned to Smith Furniture and bought a beautiful Fjords recliner and ottoman for another room. As always, the staff were patient, knowledgeable, and with a keen eye for design helped me choose the right one. And service was outstanding. I cant wait to go back for my next interior upgrade!

I purchased furniture for my home in Canada. So this transaction was somewhat complex. The staff at Smith Contemporary spared no effort to help me do this. I chose to pick the furniture up in Syracuse. All in all, everything went smoothly with Smith Contemporary. The quality of the furniture was as expected and the value equation was excellent. I intend to buy more furniture there again.

I recently took delivery of a leather (Gaga) recliner with which I am completely satisfied. The salesperson (Kathy) was personable and helpful throughout the whole process, which was protracted due to being a special order. She contacted the manufacturer regarding options and kept me apprised of the time schedule leading up to delivery. The selection at Smiths is unique for our area, with the staff only complimenting this.

Ive been searching for a statement piece as a focal point in an oversized entry hall for quite some time. Of course it had to be just the right piece. I found it at Smiths and I think the WOW factor I get from visitors says it all; for those who appreciate truly modern furniture pieces this is the place to shop. The owners and staff are friendly, helpful and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend stopping in to immerse yourself in décor you will not find elsewhere.

The furniture items, the service, including delivery & set up were fantastic.The owner of the store, Malcolm, was very accessible and offered other suggestions, which widened my choices and met my needs.The delivery & set up man was detail oriented & knowledgable. I have uneven floor and he was able to get the shelving even. He had a level w/him that he used.
