Smorgasburg WTC in New York
A great downtown version of the popular Brooklyn pop-up. Amazing food from vendors showcasing worldwide cuisines and the diversity that is NYC! Food trucks can be NYC-pricey, but most vendors take cards and the food is totally worth it. Grab a seat at the Oculus and enjoy.
Great small food truck event! On a nice fall day its the perfect place to check out some great , tasty food if your in the area! Food trucks rotate every week so itll always be worth checking out if your nearby. Theres tons of seating near the oculus building that is very well maintained and staff is constantly walking around taking trash and cleaning to ensure the area is nice! Just next to the food trucks is the oculus mall and the 9/11 memorial which is a beautiful monument to see.
Im used to food festivals with a ton of vendors but this one isnt bad... they have some picnics tables, and tables with chairs on either side of the tents. Everything looked clean. Good choices to eat from; like gelato to tacos and the like with some really cool foods Ive never seen before. Also, I went when it was late afternoon and I didnt have to wait longer then 10 to 15 minutes for my food. I had grilled Japanese food...pork belly and grilled chicken skewers over rice and it was bomb and reasonably priced.

2022-06-21Its finally back to the wtc!! I love walking the block to see the different food vendors. There are some I dont see anymore due to prepandemic times. But some that are new. Theres huge portions for a reasonable price that matches their cost, but at least not the restaurants prices. Busy lines at times but their food is worth it.

2022-07-04Big big big fan of the smorgasburg. It happens weekly on the summers and comes to the World Trade Centre every Friday. I came to the food fest right after work with my coworkers. There are so many vendors and different types of food. Make sure to come on an empty stomach. Huge fan of Nada’s empanadas (very unique flavours and staff was incredibly nice) as well as Mao baos. I spent less than $20 for a filling meal. My only regret was not buying more, so I will be coming back next week as well!

2022-06-11The most stand-out thing about Smorgasburg WTC is the atmosphere and ambiance - which, in and of itself, made the whole experience fantastic for me. There are a wide variety of stands, with cuisines ranging from Brazilian to Korean, with everything in-between. There are also desserts and drink stands, if that’s what you’re feeling. The lines move pretty fast, and while there’s a ton of choices, being able to just go around and try little bits and pieces from each stand helps make the experience special.

2022-05-18I really enjoy the feel at all Smorgasburgs. With so many choices and a variety of places to get food & drink from so many different vendors, you can go all in on one or try a little from multiple. The lines can get long, but I find they move fast enough. My last visit, I stopped by Duck Season and really enjoyed my Duck Fat Burger with Poutine.

2019-07-12Smorgasburg doesn’t miss, it simply doesn’t miss on its promise to satiate and curious tongue. Granted, this location is small than the others but it honestly has to be because the other locations are not in the middle of what’s truly a human highway with constant on the go option. Wings, to fires, to buns, to dumpling, shaved iced and a whole lot in between. Even with the downsizing, this smorgasburg does a great job of providing a variety of foods, something from each corner of the earth which tourist in particular enjoy on their way to and from the Oculus and the World Trade center Observatory and museum.

2019-07-27Love it! So many awesome awesome vendors to choose from! My favorite is The Original from Jianbing - so cool to watch them make it and such a great combination of flavors and textures. The Lychee Limeade from Mao Bun is my favorite drink. Great way to spend a summer friday!
