What a great experience from the beginning when my wife would regularly go to the website. Gina really spent her time with us while we looked at several different options and helped us find the right ring. Mauricio was also great, interacting with us each time we came in and then putting his final artistic touch on the ring. I would highly recommend Snug Harbor Jewelry when shopping for any Jewelry.
My mother has been a customer for 15 + years and I started going to see Mauricio a couple years ago myself for gifts and jewelry for myself. HE IS AMAZING. I always get the most beautiful pieces. everyone compliments my jewelry from him. He is so kind and the customer service is always tip TOP. I need to write a review for Snug Harbor. Both Ginda and Mauricio where amazing in helping me pick out a engagement ring. I never felt rushed, or invisible. I was able to get an amazing ring from the experts. I will for sure visit Snug harbor for all my jewelry needs, it just better not be for another engagement ring ever in my life :) .
When I came to Snug Harbor I had a general idea of what I wanted in an engagement ring. They took that and really brought it to life. Helped me along the way, made me feel confident and the engagement ring came out amazing! I went back for wedding bands, again, they came out amazing! My wife is over the moon about her entire ring and I owe it all to Maui and then gang at Snug Harbor Jewlery!
Snug Harbor Jewelry is the only jewelry store I go to. My family and I have been customers there for over 10 years. Between repairs or purchasing a gift, the staff is very well trained and knowledgeable. Mauricio is always honest with prices and doesnt take advantage. You will not regret supporting this local small business!!
Mauricio made me a ring that I truly love! I went to him with ideas and he helped me create my dream ring. He worked with me and gave me ideas. We looked thru books and the internet and he explained to me the different ways of building my design. He was so patient. We went to his store 3 times to make sure I liked it before making the final ring. He told me the exact steps and his time frame was on point. I love my ring and when I first saw it, it was everything I dreamed! His staff was so helpful as well. I only have positives things to say about him and his company. Definitely will use him again. I already brought my mom to fix her ring too.
I don’t usually do reviews but I have to. This place is the best and I don’t have to drive to Manhattan anymore. I had An Engagement ring enlarged right in front of me. I had an engagement ringcustom made. Before the custom piece goes to Production I received 3D images to my email for my approval. I like the unique and beautiful jewelry available here. The service is excellent too. The owner restrung my turquoise necklace and even made a pair of earrings with some of the stones from the necklace. He did an excellent job. I feel this jeweler is trustworthy too.
I went to the store to replace the crystal on my watch because of a chip. When I went to pick it up I saw they scratched the metal. I told the guy about the scratch and he said it was already there. When I disagreed he snatched the watch from my hands and threatened to call the cops. Horrible experience.Response:Dear Mr. Martinez,I had my credit card out ready to pay. The price of this watch was almost the same as how much you charged for the repair. Its not an expensive watch but i still wanted it to get it fixed cause it was a gift from someone. Youre right i refused to pay but you have to understand you damaged my property. It had a chip before but no scratch. You can disagree with me all you want but instead of helping me you snatched it from my hands. I was extremely polite at the store just standing there and youre the one who made the scene by yelling. Ive been dealing with Maui forever. Hes the only jeweler I trust. I dont even live there any more Im about 200 miles away and Id rather take my chances through the mail than someone I dont know. I just made a rather expensive purchase from snug Harbor and dealt completely through the mail, I cant be more happy ..

Easily the best jewelry store on Long Island. The owner is insanely knowledgable and skilled, as is the staff. And if they dont have exactly what youre looking for they can make or find it for you. Absolutely would recommend.
Dishonest! Buyer beware! Service beware. After taking in a Gold Bracelet in to be shortened by a little over an inch, paying a 35-40 dollar service fee, The jewelery store Kept my left over gold and said it was Policy unless asked prior to service for it to be returned. Assume they take advantage of most people that walk in thier shop. They pilfer from unsuspecting customers. Dont do business with this store! Scum!
They have a repair bench you can see - so if you bring a diamond or valuable piece there for a repair you can watch the process. I got some rings cleaned & resized there. Very comfortable with the whole experience. Jewelery selection looks very nice also. I liked that the staff was friendly - not at all pretentious like some jewelery stores. I will be back.
Maui is always been great at fixing my jewelry real quick for a long time. Only shop I go to since it was Edwards Shopping center 25 years ago.
I have been going here for years. Never an issue always find what Im looking for and they are extremely helpful in this shop. There work is amazing. Hopefully Ill be going here for many more years to come.
A real craftsman, Mr. Martinez has always gone above and beyond to meet my family’s needs. He is skilled, committed and honest.

2022-02-03Both the owner and staff are knowledgeable and explain thoroughly. Their artistry shines through. The amazing job they did resetting my engagement ring to the beautiful diamond stud earrings for both my twin and I are beautiful. The owner made us a massapequa chiefs custom charm for my nephew that he holds dear. Such special and unique pieces. I highly recommend. Especially if you want custom. I’ve sent my own family there on many occasions and trust them 100 percent. His years in the trade and the skills he possesses doesn’t go unnoticed.

Recently we had to replace a diamond in my wife’s engagement ring.Mauricio went out of his way to make sure we got the stone we wanted.He showed us several stones on three separate occasions.He is very knowledgeable and trustworthy.He was able to explain to us the difference in the different diamonds.Appointments were right on time .The ring looks fantastic. Gina was a delight to work with… She understood our wishes and was very respectful of our budget and made us feel very comfortable with all of our questions. Mauricio is a true artist and never hesitated to answer any questions we had (I was a newbie to engagement ring shopping!). He made us feel like a million bucks, without having to spend that! 2021-02-12I recently had my engagement ring reset with my grandmothers diamonds to create a gorgeous 3 stone ring. They exceeded my expectations and I just love it!! They recreated my original setting to fit the stones and it looks just beautiful! I would highly recommend Snug Harbor to anyone for all your jewelry needs—new purchases, repairs, etc. They are highly professional and take pride in their work!

That is what makes his business amazing. He custom made my ring exactly how I wanted it. He actually made it better than I planned. He has a very in depth knowledge of the business as a whole. I have bought several pieces from them & get compliments on them all the time.Their quality craftsmanship, attention to detail and honest pricing are second to none!Each time I go in, they always remember me. They even remember some of the pieces I have purchased without even looking in their records!!!!!They have excellent customer service and excellent quality jewelry. I also love that they have a resident Cat at the store, named Onyx. They are a wonderful small family business who cares about their customers.

I often have high maintenance/artistic needs such as customization etc. I’ve tried many jewelers and Snug Harbor Jewelers are the real deal: Professional, Competent, Pleasant and able to think outside the box.
