Very convenient location for hiking and other near by outdoor activities. Would likely come back due to proximity to these features, and the drive is wasnt bad at all.Pros-We had a very large group (25+) they made accommodations for. I do believe we were the only group in the back section (which gave us some really nice privacy. We were overall respectful of sound restrictions, and even when we pushed a fine line- a pleasant convo with the owner and there was no issue.Close proximity to a huge array of hiking trials, and other sights to see.Showers and bathrooms were reasonably clean.Price was fair for the area.Looked like there as a large space set aside for RVs and Campers, though we brought tents.Big house/are for outdoor concerts and live bands, though due to current restrictions we did not see/ nor had access to any of this.ConsShowers took quite awhile to warm up... more then half our group showered before the temp came up to warmer then cold.Would recommend a car with good clearance, as the roads were littered with potholes, and several speedbumps that looked... DIY....The sites themselves were clean, though there was taller grass between neighboring sites, which resulted in a good amount of tick checks (not uncommon for this time of year, but worth mentioning)N/A- did not explore minigolf, paddle boating, playground, or Sunday Breakfasts.Stayed two nights. If we had a group that large again , looking to hike this area, would likely come back.
One of the best campgrounds we have been to. Loved it so much, were going back in a couple of weeks. Clean soft flat ground, thick canopy of trees, clean bathroom facilities, and reasonably priced firewood at the office. Ive camped at a lot of places in this region and So-Hi is the best of them so far.
There must be some fake reviews going on here because I am sad to see that people are still being falsely drawn to this horrific situation. We had a hideous stay here a few years ago and I was just checking in to see if they were still in business and I cant believe that not only are they still here and operating but still somehow getting good reviews. Not only is the electrical and water situation Scary and the grounds decrepit, many of the Of the folks here Here look as though their run down campers have been here for years unkempt and in disrepair. .This place looks nothing like the photos. I am not even one to write reviews but it is so sad and disappointing for a family to arrive expecting to have a fun experience and realize that this is where they have ended up. We have camped all over the Eastern coast and this is the numbe. r onelace ever worst dont take a chance. They need to upgrade this place or shut it down.
Our recent experience with So Hi Campgrounds was wonderful! My boyfriend Todd and I spent a fantastic 2 nights here.Ralph, the owner and his family could not have been more accommodating or helpful. The campground is extremely clean and well maintained. There are areas for RV hookups as well as camping areas. It is quiet, relaxed, great balance of sun and shade. There are on-site, brand new, super clean bathroom facilities, the office has firewood and a selection of games and sports equipment. It is a wonderful place for families, as well as adults, since its spread out well.We will most definitely come back here, it had all we needed for a relaxing weekend!
We stayed 2 nights in mid-July.The good stuff:- They have parking with full hookups outside of the main camping area for those who arrive late. It’s not leveled, but for us was a relief to be able to have electricity and water when we arrived near midnight.- Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable of the area, shared great advise of things to do around and connected us with other rv’s who could help us with an issue we had.- Spaces are separated and the area is covered with trees, so you have good shade and enough privacy.- They had fishing poles for anyone who wanted to have fun in a pond they have. The bad:- Bathrooms/ showers were filthy. They weren’t cleaned in any of the 3 days we stayed, which is unbelievable.- Sewer was a hole in the ground with stones around. So it was filthy.Other bads, but not that relevant to us:- Wifi is none existent.- parking is not leveledFixing the sewer and having a clean bathroom would have been enough for us, but those were important hits in our stay.
My friends and I camped here some time in July 2015. If I remember correctly, the couple that was managing the campgrounds at the time traveled around a lot and may have only planned to be there through Labor Day, but they were fantastic. It was our first time camping on our own and they helped us build our campfire four times during our stay, and it was always with a huge smile on their faces. They had activities prepared every night to bring the neighbors together, and were more than happy to answer any questions about what to do locally. The showers were super clean, the sites were well maintained, and there was a lot of activities to do right on the campgrounds. It was one of the best experiences Ive ever had.
Great place! My only complaint is the fact that there was a loud/obtrusive group ~50 yards from our site, but, they quieted down when obsessed with some race on their TV, and, were not loud during quiet hours. Not really TOO much the campgrounds admin can do about that, though, it might have been nice if they had.Very nice wilderness area, the place is definitely rustic, but, all of the facilities - water, electricity hookup, bathrooms and wifi were up to date and working well. I think its a testament that many of the sites appear to be seasonal visitors who rent a site for the whole summer (season).Itd be kinda neat if they spruced up the mini-golf course (just 15 min with a leaf blower) and supplied some equipment for that, along with the paddle-boats, which wouldnt be tough to get seaworthy, but, Im sure those items are on their to-do list. Not some fancy glamping or typical corporate/chain type of place, but, personally, I wouldnt like that anyway.
We stayed there this weekend, and we were pleasantly surprised. Most campgrounds have traditional outhouses the further you get from the main office, but this one had running water and flushing toilets, which was a delightful surprise. Staff was very friendly, and gave us great suggestions for places to explore and eat. We would stay here again.
We had a great experience at SoHi. The campground was well-maintained. Bathrooms were clean with hot water! The staff was friendly and helpful. We even got a delicious breakfast by the host, Ralph. There is good mount of space for each campsite, allowing for privacy. There is wood for sale at the campsite, so you dont have to stock up beforehand. A great weekend getaway!
I was looking for an inexpensive campsite to go camping with a fair sized group on motorcycles. The owner, Ralph, was friendly and accommodating. He was available to answer any questions I had right up to, and including arrival. The campsite, especially the section we were placed, was absolutely perfect. There were fire pits and a even a grill we were able to use. The bathrooms were clean, and they even had a shower with warm water! We loved the spot so much, were already planning a follow up trip.
(From our camping trip in June 2014)So-Hi Campgrounds hasnt had the best reputation in the last couple of years. I read some scary reviews from campers past, and was hesitant to check it out myself. My wife and I were getting a few friends together to go camping, and needed to find a good place. She had camped there about 15 years ago with her family, and remembered it being wonderful, so we went to take a look at it.When we first arrived, it was obvious that there were some renovations in progress, which is always a good sign. The swimming pool looked clean and inviting, there were some pedal boats on the man-made lake, and the grounds were tidy.We pulled up to the office, and a friendly gentleman named Ralph came out to greet us. He turned out to be the new owner of the campground, and asked us what we were looking for in terms of accommodations. He let us know that he had acquired So-Hi about a year ago, and that it wasnt much when he got it. He went on to inform us that all of the bathroom fixtures were replaced, new ones were even built, and that they were always doing upkeep on the grounds. The whole trip was sunny and perfect, we couldnt have asked for better weather. The sun really made the campground shine! We took T16 & T17, at the very back of Pine Cone Alley. We fit 2 tents on each site with plenty of room to spare, especially considering each site had one cabin style tent on it. There are true fire rings, unlike the DEC campgrounds around here. There are even rims with grills to set camp cookware on over the fire, which was a nice touch! The sites are covered in jutting tree roots, but as long as you have an air mattress, you will be fine. The tents all went up easily regardless, and it was as close to camping in the woods (with flush toilets and bathrooms at the entrance anyway) as you could get. There are strong trees close enough to suspend a hammock, which we did. These sites are probably the best in the entire campground, but they all look pretty good! The firewood we got at a steal. We started a teepee fire with the sticks and kindling around us as we waited for the firewood to arrive. The manager of the campground pulled up in his truck, and sold us a whole lot of firewood for $5. $5! It may not always be this cheap, they have to turn a profit you know, but other campgrounds charge $10-15 for the load we got!At night, a couple of groups came in and set up camp nearer to the entrance. They all seemed to have the same fun-loving spirit that we did, so I hope we didnt bother them. They didnt bother us, anyway. The next day, we checked out the swimming pool and the arcade. The swimming pool was super clean, and great fun. The arcade was fully operational, and complete with a pinball machine, which I love. We went out on the pedal boats too, those were a good leg workout for sure. Between us all, I think all of the bathrooms got used, and a couple of the showers. Everything is new and kept sparkling clean. Lets be fair, camp facilities dont have the best reputation for a reason...but these are not your average camp facilities!I know this is a long review, but I really believe in this campground. I want everyone to go check it out and enjoy it, because Im sad I ever left! We all had the best time, even one of our friends who had never been camping before, and she got to start with such a fantastic experience. The staff is all friendly and not at all obtrusive, and the grounds are beautiful. I have wanted to go back every day since we left, but I know that we will be back next season...hopefully more than once! I would heartily recommend So-Hi Campgrounds to all campers, and wish Ralph the best of luck with his new property.
Im a tenter, and this place was lovely. The spaces were huge considering how much room we really needed; you could really spread out without being on top of your neighbor. surrounded by pine trees, it was amazing waking up and wandering off into the woods behind our site. The public grounds were great, the whole vibe was not fancy but everything you need. When we pulled in they were having a pot luck barbecue, which apparently happens three times a week. So while we were just passing through and werent looking to get too into it with the regulars, you could definitely feel a sense of community, even people that didnt work there were super helpful. Good rates and facilities. Well be coming back.
Wonderful campground. Our second season here as annuals. This is a place you feel at home and just like family. Very helpful and friendly staff. Spacious sites. Camoground has come a long way. We will be here many fun years. We feel safe and cozy here. Relaxing and quiet. Good family spot. Memorial day weekend was full of fun activities such as pot luck, bingo and free ice cream social.
My boyfriend, his family, and i came here for labor day weekend. Ralph and his family are amazing! we have a big camper, he was great with accommodation with finding the perfect site. weve been camping a bunch of places and this place is on my top favorite places. the bathrooms are clean, there is AMAZING fishing, mini golf, horseshoes, a giant playground, and a pool. Ralph does great activities, ice cream socials, bingo, and free breakfast.I cant wait to come back!!!!
People who give SoHi a bad review based on one stay and some common issues are just not seasoned campers and should keep their opinions to themselves. This Campground was a wonderful experience. The grounds were like a park with open fields and woodland walks. You have to see it to appreciate it. The rates were very reasonable and the people very friendly. You can even get help from Ralph, the owner if you have a problem. The large pool was a great escape from the summer heat. The children loved the game room and miniature golf.I highly recommend So-Hi. We will return!
This is a very good campground. They have a clean personal bathroom and private shower thats cozy and has plenty of hot water rite in the tent area. The thing I liked best was that there is a pretty deep forest next to the tent area so you get a real camping experience. The people are friendly and the price is good. Def. check it out if your in the Accord area and looking for a place to camp out for a few nights.
Found this campground on a whim after being scared away from a creepy campground in Rosendale, NY (Creekview - dont go there!) . We called and were able to get a site for 2 nights, on a weekend, right then and there. The campground is a little off the beaten path, which we loved, because it was very quiet, wooded, and peaceful. The campground is very large and separated into RV and tent areas, which is very nice because we were tenting and liked being in our own area. Once we got there, we met a really great guy named Ray. He told us they just bought the campground a year ago and the having been fixing it up. So we had a really nice new bathroom right in the tent area. We could also tell that the other facilities have been updated recently too. The tent sites were very large and nicely set in the woods. We didnt even want to leave after the 2 nights because we just LOVED the place. Definitely would visit again and recommend to anyone who is in the area for hiking, climbing, or just enjoying the outdoors.
This was once a serene and quiet place to enjoy nature. However, I stayed here recently and there was an incessant cacophony of noise: chain saws, leaf blowers, even a tractor - at all hours of the day. One night I heard a leaf blower nearby at 8:30 PM. I asked the staff member to please stop and he was very rude to me. Sadly, I cannot longer recommend this campground.
Love Sohi! Every time I camp in the gunks I go to Sohi. The primary reason we started coming here were the private fire pits, as most sites in the Gunks have communal pits only. Every time we’ve gone to Sohi it’s been pleasantly under-populated. The privacy is quite nice to have. the front desk is usually helpful when someone’s there, we’ve extended bookings and moves sites with very little effort. They’re our spot every year. They’re about 30 min from New Paltz proper, which is a pro for camping and a con for enjoying town. Lots of gorgeous hikes within 20 minutes too!
Great place to camp. Their property is scenic, with a couple of ponds, nice lighting and spacious camp sites. They have hot showers, public sink for washing cookware and dishes, and host social activities. They will also sell fire wood on site and its 20-30 minutes away from beautiful hiking and swimming at Lake Minnewaska. Well come back for sure.
Liked it, but could be much better. For the price it was almost good enough, for a sub $40 price a full hookup could be a good deal, for $45 a night it wasnt great. There was a definite welfare or section 8 feel to it. The seasonals need to be given a dose of respect for the owners desire to improve the overall experience and blue tarps and disheveled trailers dont add sight or site appeal! I would consider going back but only with a little better knowledge of the lay of the land and which sites are better than others. Very rocky and tree roots abound, tenters beware, bring those air mattresses. Bathrooms by the main office were decent however my first day found no hot water due to the heater shutting off! I had trouble with being able to park my small 19 foot trailer close enough to the hookups to reach them, bring long hoses for water and sewage, electric was within my 25 cord. The camp had a loaner water hose that made the connection work.Overall, not a terrible place, with more of the owners plans to improve, it has the potential to be a nicer place. Just get some seasonal site rules in place and keep reminding the staff that there is always room for improvement on their behalf and things will improve. In todays economy people want to feel as if they are getting a good deal, this campground has that potential but for well traveled campers it may still fall short. If you are contemplating a first tenting camp trip from NYC you should be very happy.Good luck to Ralph the owner and his plans for the future of SoHi Campground. ...
Had a great stay at Sohi Campground last weekend! Owners were very nice, and let us keep our tents up while we hiked for the day so that they could dry out from the violent storm the night before. Shower/bathroom by the tent section was very clean. We must have missed the weather reports, as we were the only tenters there! Plenty of other amenities we didnt have time to enjoy, but will definitely be coming back in the near future.Perfect spot for camping if you want to visit Mohonk Preserve! Would suggest an air mattress though, as there were a lot of tree roots in the tent sites.
Nothing but good things to say about So-Hi!!! They welcomed you in with open arms and made you feel right at home! Very family friendly place where you end up feeling like a regular! We came in late and they showed us how to park and where to park guiding us the whole way with a flashlight and then made sure we were all set before going to bed themselves. Highly recommend staying at So-Hi Campground!!
Found this place through the Minnewaska State park website and was not disappointed. The tent sites are spacious, theres HOT water and a nice little bathroom/shower stall, plenty of firewood ($5 delivered to your site) and a good sized clean pool. About 20 min drive to the park if thats where youre going. Would definitely recommend.
I am writing this review from the breakfast nook in our motorhome, while looking out the window at the beautiful trees. The cool breeze is amazing. We checked in on July 1st, for 3 nights and decided this morning to stay an extra day. If we didnt have to head south to take care of some business, we would stay the rest of the season, but I suspect we will be back very soon. We absolutely love it here. We generally stay in state parks because we like to be among the trees, not crammed in to an RV parking lot where your slideout all but touches your neighbors slideout. This place has the amenities of an RV resort but also the privacy and nature found in a state park camp ground. The camp is not overly fancy but its very well maintained and clean. Combined with the friendliness of the owner, Ralph, and the really nice team of fellow RVers that stay and work here seasonally..... it has been a wonderful experience for my wife and I. We feel at home. Thank you for being one of the highlights of our cross country trip. - Joseph & Ruby
I love camping. I go several times each year both car camping and backpacking. However, So-Hi Campgrounds was able to make this the most unnecessarily stressful experience Ive ever had while camping. BE WARNED, DO NOT GO HERE.They have no idea what theyre doing and need to put the place up for new management right away.I booked my site for a holiday weekend months in advance. I paid too, and received NO confirmation despite several attempts to get one. I contacted again several days before we due to arrive and finally received confirmation. When I got there, my friends and I were assigned our site and told to have a nice stay. When we got to our tent site, somebody was already set up there, so we asked if we should just set up at the next site over. We were told yes, use the next site over. After about an hour and half of setting up and being almost completely settled, an employee told us that they double booked the site and we had to move. When we told them wed just finished setting up, its almost dark, we dont want to move, the manager came over and started yelling at us... actually yelling at us!We were initially offered a 50% refund for the inconvenience and that was quickly followed up by a change of heart and an adamant refusal to give back any money (seriously.. you cant give us $40 back when you already double booked a site?? Its still extra profit either way!). When being offered an alternative site, they tried to put us in the RV section in the baking sun instead of our original shaded wooded site. We had to point out to them that a site was available almost right next to where we started. We finally got that site, but why wouldnt they offer that first???We were finally given free wood (one bundle) instead of any monetary compensation...which was completely soaked through!! They didnt even season the wood! Nobody could get their fire started for several sites in either direction because the wood was drenched!! All campers were forced to scavenge wood elsewhere as a result. The next morning we went to the office to buy a bag of ice to find the office closed and the manager wandering around aimlessly pretending not to see us each time he glanced over. At one point, while we sat waiting by the door for him to return, we witnessed him SCREAMING at an elderly employee about cleaning the bathrooms. He never came back to unlock the office so we eventually had to drive to a gas station instead.I will say, the bathrooms were extremely clean. The cleanest Ive ever seen. But only because the manager abuses his employees. Please please PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO TO THIS CAMPGROUND.
We stayed here to do some training rides at minnewaska area. Great value for the area for tent sites. Bathrooms are new and clean with hot water. Tent sites are clean and include table. Plenty of room for tents and group sites. Keep in mind that this is not a 24 hour operation, so when arriving late (we did) call ahead and coordinate. Is also a paypal/cash only facility
I dont usually write campground reviews (or any at that) but I ran into Sohi-camgrounds website again while searching for campgrounds for spring break. I finally decided I will let others know what happened with our very brief (but seemed like forever) stay at So-hi Campgrounds. We stayed here at a total of 3 hours, it was that bad. We have a class A 33ft MH (diesel pusher). First site they put us in looked rough. We were surrounded by seasonals and we requested to get moved to another location since we invited some friends, who were vacationing nearby to stop by our site for dinner. We were told to pull in anywhere we liked. Backing in at the new location, it was very difficult since it was such a tight spot and not much room to maneuver. We ended up scraping the front cap of our new coach while a staff was guiding us backing in the spot. Ok, I shrugged it off. Once we finally parked in the spot, I started to level the coach and the coach started to sink and bent one of our leveling jacks pads, now Im fuming, but decided to give it another shot and use wooden boards so the coach would not sink... OK that worked. Time to plug in shore power? Nope, shore power was not working, the staff came in to troubleshoot but couldnt get it to work.. I looked at the wires running overhead our coach and it had electrical tape all over the termination points and used trees to support the wires to other sites… Wow!Ok, so back to the original spot where we first started (with the seasonals)... would you believe our coach sank in a sink hole!!! You cant make this stuff up. It was an old underground oil tank that got never filled in and the weight of our coach caved the oil tank in. I felt like I was in a mine field and just wanted to wake up from this nightmare! Luckily I used the front jacks to pull the coach up and the staff filled the tank in with rocks. We drove away from the hole fine... but that was the last straw. I was done.At the end of the day... the staff wanted us to stay but never really apologized. I found out later (from the seasonals, who were very helpful and supported us looking for a new campground since we had no cell phone coverage) they had premium spots that they were not willing to give us at first... but now wanted to give us a free night stay... no thank you! Why couldn’t they just put us in that spot in the first place. Noone were staying in those spots, totally wide open. We would of happily stayed in those spots.. away from the locals, lots of room for our guests, easy spots to get in and out. While on the way out of the campground, I had a brief conversation with the owner and he apologized that the staff gave us poor service... whatever.I have never in the years of RVing had this type of campground experience... surreal but in truth, and sadly really happened. Like I said, I dont really write reviews but this is one of those cases where I should warn ALL RVs, TT and 5th wheelers to stay away from this place. There is just no room for maneuverability for medium to big rigs. Shoddy electrical, unstable grounds and staffs who fails to deal with what has been handed to them… we were there for a total of 3 hours and never got to hook up. Im usually fully hooked in 5 minutes.. just sad. We never did get to another nearby campsite since it was already late. Nine hours from leaving home, we arrived back at our home and camped in our driveway that night. Bottom line... stay far away from Sohi-campground.
Pictures in other reviews are very dated, we came for kids activities but pool was in terrific disrepair, golf course was playable but had many broken elements. Folks were smoking on front porch of office. On the plus side the staff was friendly, not counting the smoking...
If you have a big rig rv do not go to this rv park, not only is it 20 miles out in country, I was raised in rural area of Arkansas so I know where sticks are at, if your looking for rustic camping this is the place to go, Im pretty sure I damaged my axle at this park near Accord NY.

2022-06-16Okay so they have the most reasonable rates for the season. And comparable rates for single night stays. It is a very quiet back in the woods wonderful place. It can use some help on the look of the place not that its all run down or anything but the mini golf needs to be rebuilt it is actually in the process of being done and the play ground could use an update. But it has great hiking trails and two small ponds you can fish and peddle boat in those are there for you to use as you want for free. The staff is nice what few they have and will do their best to help you. And the seasonal returnees are some great people. I love how quiet it is at night but most Saturdays they have an event with live music and a bonfire. Overall a good place and someday a great place once someone just puts some finishing touches on it.

2022-06-09A very solid place. Bathrooms with hot showers are kept decently clean and there are power hookups and fire pits at the campsite. Very pleasant surroundings. They also have a good playground for kids, tennis & basketball courts, as well as a game room. Pricing is very reasonable. I dont know if the owner reads this, but there are only two issues that I found that makes me give this four stars instead of five.1. The wifi is spotty and slow. Cell service is an issue there, so youre a bit cutoff (which may be a good thing).2. The pool table in the game room should either be fixed or just gotten rid of and replaced (or not).

2021-08-21Good tent camp sites! Compared to everything else in the area this was definitely the most affordable camping we found. I am glad we brought our own drinking water because theirs is pretty chlorinated (that’s pretty standard at a campground tho). It was nice having flushing toilets and a sink to wash dishes. The internet at the office is reliable, cell service is definitely spotty, but that’s typical of rural NY.Some amenities were not as advertised: the mini golf course and playground are both in serious disrepair - they need a makeover. The camp road is pretty full of pot holes, definitely take it slow. The grounds manager was friendly, owner is friendly as well. The main RV/camper section has some nice sites but there are a lot of dilapidated campers that look like they need to be towed to the junk yard. With some love this place could be really great.Overall my family was satisfied! We are rugged and love camping, so it doesn’t take much to please us. Our campsite had very little poison ivy on/around it, and me and my sister enjoyed wandering the woods looking for mushrooms and forest critters. There were so many wood frogs and pickerel frogs :) not to mention lots of spotted red salamanders. The forest here is happy and healthy.

2021-10-07My family and I have been coming to So-Hi for the past few years. We keep coming back because they have tent sites with electric, so its not as if youre squished in between RVs. The tent sites are spacious and the host is very accommodating. The bathhouse is always kept clean. You cant beat the location if youre looking for a campground that is near small towns, yet secluded enough to allow you to enjoy nature!

2021-09-05Owner and employees are welcoming and friendly. They will do everything in their capacity to make your stay enjoyable.Bring drinking water. You will have clean flushable toilet and hot shower on the facility. Little kiddie park needs some upgrade but kids loved it.Good for family / family with little kids / big group.

2021-10-11Pretty solid campground. Has basic amenities like bathrooms, communal sink, electric hook-up & WiFi if needed. Each campsite has its own fire pit. Main entrance and parts of roads throughout the campground and poorly maintained be careful if you don’t have a truck/SUV. So-Hi is roughly 30 mins from many great hikes in the area and I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that management could stand to be a little bit friendlier.

2021-07-12We didn’t like this place. It’s full of people that stay full time and all the trappings that go with that. Our site was full of poison Ivy and the sewer hookup didn’t work/ it was an open hole in the ground? There were no connectors. There were two old hoses on the site. There are obviously some nice sites, ours was a mud pit. We only stayed two nights but for the cost we expected more. The owner asked why we didn’t say anything? Well, it’s not my job to fix his sites or road for that matter? The sites need to be functional before they are needed. It was raining when we got there and we didn’t use the hookup until getting ready to leave. Just be careful here- lots of ticks, poison Ivy, and more than rustic, it felt unsafe. Our site should not have been offered to anyone.

2021-08-31SoHi campground was a very fun experience for a great price. There are great attractions near the campground for activities to do during the day. The sites are nice and quiet and you have privacy. The owner is very friendly and has good recommendations for things to do. I recommend this place for anyone who wants an authentic camping experience.

2021-09-28Felt ripped off, really poor sites and facilities. My partner and I met friends who had booked for 3 nights. The manager surge priced the site because those friends were going to a music festival locally, we were not. 4 people were charge a total of $180 for 1 site for 3 nights despite the fact two of us were only staying 1 night and not attending said festival. When we drove up we said who we were meeting and the manager barked that we owed him $90 with no explanation. The site was a bog with no clear division of boundaries to our neighbors. Ive spent a good deal of time in privately owned campgrounds similar to this and can say this one is particularly poorly maintained. Honestly, youre better off going anywhere else.

2021-06-06Awful !!! Horrible !!! Terrible !!! The managers/owners are rude. You have to travel down a trail that doesnt even qualify as a country road. After turning off the trail, the road entering the park is in such bad shape that we were afraid we may have damaged our truck and camper. The hookups are inadequate, and the water is discolored and smelly. The campsites are overgrown with weeds and poison ivy. We were afraid to even check out the bathrooms. Theres a difference between being primitive and being dump!!!
