Signed our son up for so five before the pandemic, as expected the center closed when the pandemic hit. Since re-opening i tried to re-enroll our child considering he wasn’t able to attend classes only ONE I was instructed by Craig that i would need to pay 100 dollars and to let him know when i would do so in order to enroll our child. Ridiculous!!! and unfair as if our fault a pandemic occurred.
I signed my son up for a class and then ran into a scheduling conflict. Even though it was super inconvenient for them, they helped me out and I really appreciated it. Coach Sanjay is awesome, the kids love him, and he’s a really insightful coach—happy to have my kid learning from him!
The place and courts are very good, but the childrens tournaments that are organized very badly, starting with the referees who do not even know what to mark, and let children play even if they are not of the age, they do not check identification and they make tournaments very poorly organized, if you do not want your children to be injured. I recommend you to do not attend tournaments organized by sofive.
Just signed my 9y/o son up for the 10 - 12 class. Hell be 10 in the summer and hes a big 9 so they allowed him to join the older class. My son has never really played soccer but the instructors were really patient and were really good at teaching the him the basics. Its an 8 week program meeting once a week every Saturday and hes only completed 1 class so well see how good he is at the end. Im just glad hes interested in something else other than playing fortnite all day.
UNETHICAL REFEREES AND SOFIVES NEW MANAGEMENT.. SOFIVE NOW RUNS TOURNAMENTS AND LEAGUES THAT ARE VERY DISORGANIZED AND CORRUPT.. NOT A SAFE ENVIORMENT FOR THE YOUTH.. NOTHING LIKE THE SOFIVE IT USED TO BE..NEW MANAGMENT JUST WANTS MONEY REGARDLESS OF AGE GROUPS AND ROSTERS AS A REFEREEE ON SATURDAY MENTIONED AND CLEARLY TODAY AT THE MLK TOURNAMENT ALONG WITH LA LIGE MADE THAT CLEAR... NOT INTRESTED IN YOUTH REC AND DEVELOPMENT BUT INSTEAD MAKING MONEY EVEN IF ITS CORRUPTLY DONE AND INJURING YOUNG CHILDREN
Fantastic party! We had our sons birthday party here and it was wonderful - everyone who worked there was so friendly, attentive, and effective. The coach we had was happy and worked great with kids. It was well organized and we didnt feel rushed. The kids got what they wanted - lots of time of the field. Thank you!
Great place to play some pickup soccer. Really cool community atmosphere, especially on Fridays when they have open pickup (just show up pay $10, find a team and play for a few hours). They also have leagues for adults/kids, and the place is absolutely packed, but in a good way! Just lots of people enjoying the beautiful game. They got TVs and tables too, if you dont wanna play but your friends do, you can def hang out here
The place to go and play indoor soccer with friends or family reasonable prices mostly my friends get together and split the cost play and enjoy ourselves every Friday night after work. They had restrooms a lounge area and a fully packed bar a total of 9 fields u could go with your crew or pick up games while you there
It is a very nice place, clean, organized. the field is super nice for the guys to play. they need to activate the recording cameras to watch the soccer games online. as is sofive new jersey.as it is in new jersey. It is very easy to get near the train J, A, C and some bus routes that I can not remember at the moment.
I went here many many times. It can sometimes be unorganized and the space for walking is small. My team couldnt find each other when It was our turn to play due to the small spaces between fields and the weird goals. But on the bright side, the goals are nice, the ball wont go through them and hit someone. The field wont hurt you, and there is this cool backboard that you can make good plays on. The annoying thing is the outs. There should be a higher width up and the sides. Should be a little bigger and the scoreboard a bit bigger as well its kinda hard to see especially if you dont have the best vision as a parent.
The fields and establishment is brand new. Turf quality for the players is great. I only took a star off because as I was buying waters for my team, the staff didnt even offer a bag for to put them in. Its always great to see the culture come together in NYC to affect the sport in a positive way. This place offers space to do it.
Great place very clean and all but the only problem I have with this location is that they don’t post soccer videos as good as they used to. they used to post them the next day now it’s been over a month that I went and the videos for that day aren’t up only thing I have a problem with and that could potentially decrease sells. me personally, I found out about this place because of people sharing there soccer videos on social media.
This is a hidden gem in East New York. Its a huge warehouse where you can play indoor soccer. It has 10 soccer fields there. Its not your average field but its big enough for a good workout. They have programs during the week and Saturdays for kids ranging from 5 to 12. You can set up birthday parties there as well. It has a lounge area inside and out and a bar that you can buy such things as snacks for the kids and drink a cold beer for adults. The facility is not just for kids but adults can have fun as well. It also has a good size parking lot and its wheelchair accessible.
I’ve been to many indoor places to play football far away from where I live. It’s great to have this in brooklyn. Played first time here experience was awesome. Didn’t had enough time to explore much but restrooms and play areas was AWESOME. This is the spot for me and my team Now. Team BBA. We will be back!!!
Nice indoor place to play small team soccer during the colder months. Artificial turf field is pretty nice, and the walls around the posts mean no outs. Turf TF shoes work best. Charged us about 160$ for 90 mins of field usage. They have decent restrooms and a small changing area, plus a water fountain, a small canteen/bar with juices, drinks etc, and a comfortable (but not clean) seating area with chairs and tables, stools, and couches. The parking lot was a blessing, we didnt have to look on the street for parking. The lot was nearly full when I went the first time to SoFive, and once inside, I saw people of different ages and backgrounds playing soccer in the numerous little courts. One practical complaint: there are no spaces to keep your belongings, like jacket, valuables, drink bottles, extra shoes, in sight in the courts themselves. We had to stuff our belongings into the two goal nets. They got hit by our shots and it was also precarious to try to access that during play without interfering. It would be nice if there was a lockbox, locker or shelf with secure access from only within each court but not accessible from outside. Also, for so many courts, it would be nice to have more water fountains, spread out across the courts. Overall though, I had a good time playing there, and could forget about everything and focus on the game, so thanks SoFive!

2018-12-03This is brand new building - this is a chain. Great spot for friends + corporate challenges. Will be back. Price very reasonable per hour.

2022-03-06Great facility for small sided games. The fields are updated and the turf feels safe to play on (compared to other options in or around the city). Regarding adult leagues and pick up, very reasonable pricing and solid competition on average so you don’t feel like you’re wasting your time or money. Would definitely recommend.

2022-06-28The field is perfect for 5v5. But they need to keep the temperature down. It was so humid and hot in there. There was no air flow whatsoever

2019-02-02Great facility and great atmosphere. Reasonable pricing. Currently in the winter league and play on weekends there, great especially with how cold it is to play outdoors. One minor issue I have is when booking a field I sometimes have to call 2 or 3 times before someone picks up. Also I have to call once to ask for availability and second time to confirm the booking. An online booking solution would be great to save time.

2019-10-21I am the first time in such a place where so many football fields are collected - I am a little confused so everything is conveniently clean and beautiful! there is a waiting room - only the viewer how to stand when the game is going on? I always dreamed about Such a field in childhood - I had to wait a long time ...

2022-03-12I have to say I agree with other parents about kids tournament not playing fair because many kids our team have played are clearly older. Not sure what type of system they have to check but does not look like it is a very good one.

2021-02-02Came here for Soccer with this past weekend. My five year old participated. Facility is nice and clean and well organized. We had the field for 90 minutes. No issues at all. Kids had a blast. I’d recommend this facility.Parking lots is convenient, albeit small. We lucked out with snagging a spot.

2019-01-06This is what our kids need and what every larger neighborhood in Brooklyn and Queens should have!++ large, modern, new++ goals with double nets+ fast WiFi+ monitors keep track of score+ app provides real time scores and standings+ great turf+ two lounges equipped with sofas and TVs- hardly any space for people who want to watch the games- parking situation outside is chaotic- I couldnt see any healthy food offerings at the small, cafeteria-like counter- no cubbies for clothes and backpacks other than one room next to bathrooms- no water fountains next to soccer fields
