The team at Solar Glass was great. They were very professional and timely with their scheduling and getting the work done. Being a contractor myself its hard to find quality contractors in the area. Would recommend them to anyone.
We needed to protect our dining room table with a glass top. Solar Glass was recommended. We called Solar Glass on a Saturday and had the table top measured and delivered before lunch on Monday. It is a perfect fit!
We could not be happier with the work Solar Glass did in our bathrooms. We went with low iron glass, its the cleanest most precise work I have seen in any high end home.Anthony from Solar was thoughtful in his approach and design, he asked us what we thought we wanted, then took our thoughts and drafted what he thought was most practical and was happy to go over changes and made sure we were comfortable with door swing range, the location of the vanity and how the mirror (which he also did for us) aligned with the shower glass wall and above the vanity.We also used them for the glass in our guest bath where he carefully matched his bracket materials to match the finishes we had selected for the hardware.Amazing service and outcome - if only all vendors were this seamless with their work.

Anthony at solar glass was very professional and knowledgeable about sizing and installing the shower doors that I needed in my bathroom. After meeting him in his show room he came over immediately and measured the opening for the shower. I took his recommendations and the shower doors look absolutely amazing. AN AMAZING COMPANY!!!!I recently renovated two bathrooms in my home, I called solar glass to give me an estimate on both shower doors. They were polite, punctual and incredibly knowledgeable. Being a new homeowner, I was not sure what the best way to go would be. Anthony showed up on time, walked me through the process and explained everything to me. I’m a plumber and I have installed MANY steam showers and wanted one myself. After speaking to Anthony, I felt very comfortable and decided to go ahead with the project. Well I couldn’t have been happier!! They covered my newly finished hard wood floors, protected all surfaces and the doors were installed and finished in one day! There are plenty of companies out there today, unfortunately it’s not that often you find a company that stands behind there work after install, does what they say will do and takes pride and care in the quality of their craftsmanship. I found that here with solar glass & I couldn’t be happier.
From my initial meeting in the showroom to the completion of my gorgeous custom shower door, Mike and Anthony were polite knowledgeable, professional, easy to deal with!! They also assisted me with two beautiful mirrors above my his and her bathroom sinks. More than reasonable on their pricing as well as their precise timing they catered to my schedule. After going to four places to look for 2 shower doors, my friend suggested I try Solar Glass in Island Park. I am happy I did. Anthony the salesperson was very knowledgeable and friendly. The price he quoted was the best price of all the other places. I was amazed how honest they were because when he came to measure the price went down on one of the shower doors. The delivery date and installation was right on target. Mike and Dan came to install the doors. They were great, efficient, very polite and most important neat. If you are looking for a shower door, get a quote and end up at Solar Glass. You will not be upset.

Great experience. I had two bathrooms redone and Anthony and Mike had given me great recommendations on the selection of my shower doors. They both made my decision process much easier and pain free. They are extremely professional in every way possible and knowledgeable on their products. If you are doing any renovation in your home, I would highly recommend them, and it doesn’t hurt that combined they have over 35 years experience in this business.

Had questions and Mike came to show me the next day how to operate since I was not there when they installed. These are Quality glass shower doors. Not like the one you get in the hardware stores. Pretty simple.. you have an issue... they solve it w/ little to no downtime. Almost unheard any more. Great service. I can not say enough. Mike is a real stand up guy.. they definitely broke the mold, hard to find knowledgable professionals like him these days. We had 2 glass enclosures installed. Fairly priced. Incredible and prompt service. They installed a custom-made shower door in our new guest bathroom did a marvelous job. This was a difficult job because the wall was on a slant and the space was very limited but they aced it no problem. And along with the help of the custom mirror they made us the tiny bathroom now looks much more spacious. 2022-01-05The guys at Solar Glass were really great to work with. Very reasonable price, quick delivery and installation. Bathroom shower glass had to be hand lifted up from the first floor due to spiral staircase. These guys handled it with ease. No need to look further... Solar Glass is the best.

Do some comparison shopping if youre looking for shower doors especially, get your estimates and then go to Solar Glass and they will do way better for you. Great installation, friendly people. I know this is a place I can always rely on. Even my contractor who built our new house now uses them for any glass work he needs

Everything was super seamless & easy- from picking the shower doors, to getting the bathroom measured & getting them installed. I was hoping to have the doors installed by a certain date & they got it done even earlier- the whole process took about a week. Anthony was really helpful & easy to work with. Definitely recommend!!

2022-03-10I had a small job replacing plate glass on an end table. At approx.4:20 PM on Wednesday I called the closest glass place and they said I would have to leave it there and pick up end of week. I called Solar Glass in Island Park and they said I could bring it in the next morning and have it cut while waiting.Anthony at Solar Glass gave me excellent service at a great price, cut the glass, vacuumed and cleaned the surface area of the table and I was on my in less than 10 minutes. I now know who to call. I recommend Solar Glass.

2020-12-16If only all contractors and customer service industries could be as professional, courteous and skilled as Solar Glass. We recently had shower doors installed in our NYC apartment. Anthony traveled to us to measure and was super knowledgeable and offered so many great design ideas that we never would have thought of without him. He suggested a ladder handle that matches our bathrooms’ aesthetic perfectly. Installation was a breeze and Mike and his team were so kind and very discreet while they worked. We had other construction happening simultaneously and they were was so mindful of it. They even brought us a bottle of glass cleaner and instructed on how to best clean the doors - which are top of the line, coated with an advanced water resistance. Cleaning them is so easy.We love our shower doors. They transformed our bathrooms and make them feel so much bigger. Who needs shower curtains! THANK YOU, SOLAR GLASS. I would highly recommend.
