We were able to find a special New Zealand wine here that we couldnt find anywhere else- only a 16 dollar bottle but one of our favorites, so its great to be able to get it some place! Once we described what we liked, we were also recommended another wine to try and it ended up working out great.
Wine shop where you can have confidence that the wines (and spirits) that you buy are responsibly and deliciously made, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the selection caters to all tastes and price ranges. A great place. I kind of want to try everything in here, though the 2010 red from Val d’Aosta was magnificent.
Amazing tasting for $5 dollars, which gives u 13 wines. Not a bad deal. Will come again
I ordered 12 bottles of wine. The shipping was fast, everything was carefully packaged, no broken bottles, no issues :) Definitely will buy from them again 👍
Rented out the back of the wine shop for my birthday wine tasting party - Brooklynn was absolutely wonderful and picked out great choices for my guests. Also come to their monthly wine tasting - it’s only $5 for lots of great wines and the ticket price goes toward your same day purchase.
I purchased 4 bottles of Susucaru on Nov 2019 and still never received my order. Nothing!! Owner said they would ship and if i wanted to add anything? I said no and never got anything, then come to find out they sold my bottles. Then the owner started ignoring my emails.
This store is the best addition to neighborhood in ages. The selection is terrific but not overwhelming, and the owner is brilliant at suggesting perfect wines for various meals, events, and prices. The small batch liquors are excellent as well. - Jeanne B.Manhattan, NY
I love this wine store. Great selection of both wine and liquor. Staff is super friendly. We use these guys to order wine for our Washington square association meetings all the time.
Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. My friend and I were able to pick it a good variety of wine for a party and not break the bank. My go-to wine store in the area.
Ordered product online. Paid for two-day delivery. The day after the order, called to confirm it would ship. Was told I would receive it Tuesday. The order did not ship until the next day (Saturday) and the delivery then was moved to Thursday. E mailed the company. No response. Maybe theyre good in person, but not online.

2020-08-16This place prides itself in having affordable, unique and small production wines. They have a huge selection of organic and biodynamic wines and are armed with encyclopedias as brains and will happily walk you through your purchase and you will NOT be disappointed. Pictured is a Corsican wine that I was searching for and they were the only shop in the city to have it! Cheers!

2019-10-16AHMAZING store!!!!! I went to NYC last summer and had to stop by to buy Xila but they were out. I was told to call later when they get more. I called again recently and was told that they are in stock. I was very happy to order through online right away. 2021-04-23Was looking to purchase a particular wine which isnt available here in Ireland. After finding it for sale on the SGW online store, I placed the order for some bottles, and promptly received a reply asking if Id like to order some more bottles at a discounted rate with free shipping.Unfortunately, An Posts transatlantic shipping service would have charged me out the backside for the extra weight, but the offer was sincerely appreciated.Id also made a slight mistake in the shipping address, which was changed for me without any fuss.Friendly and personable service, fast delivery, what more you could you ask for?

2022-01-11No one inside the shop was wearing masks and when I posted a negative yelp review about it instead of apologizing and fixing the problem the owner of the shop made personal attacks against me, tried to gaslight me and lied and said the problem doesnt exists. If he apologized and fixed the problem I may have even deleted my negative review but now that hes out for blood I may as well leave a negative review here. Dont go near this place. They dont wear masking during the height of the omicron surge and the owner is a liar and prefers to gaslight potential customers over enforcing city public health ordinances in his own store.

2020-05-27When I found this store online, I was impressed by their selection. I ordered and received a prompt reply, but the order took about 5 days to ship. I received my order and was missing a bottle. I reached out to the shop and was told they must have not had the wine (my first thought was, Why wouldnt you reach out to me prior to shipping and ask if I wanted to replace it with something or get a refund?). Ultimately, I was refunded the price of the bottle. Communication is a bit haphazard here, but the selection of unique wines was quite good.

2020-04-08Ordered 6 bottles of vino online. When I received the order, it was not what I had ordered. I e-mailed Jeremy, and he was quite apologetic, and when I asked what the next move was he told me to keep the shipment, and he would send the right ones. I wasnt looking for a hand out. Classy move shows the customer comes first! I would recommend Some Good Wine to anyone looking for a wide variety of wines not readily available @ local stores in your area.

2020-04-30My quarantine saviors. I never shopped here much pre-quarantine, but am now hooked! They have a great selection of natural, biodynamic, and female wine makers. The staff is knowledgable and friendly, and can provide excellent recommendations! They offer free local delivery and pickup. Its so easy to get bottles (and its more important than every since we cant go out!)Some good wine has made my quarantine life bearable! Definitely order from them!!

2021-09-24I ordered a bottle of wine with shipping and have never received it. I’ve called the store multiple times only to be told someone will speak to the manager and then I hear nothing back. I asked for either a refund or the product I purchased! I was finally told I’ll be issued a refund and surprise surprise, haven’t been refunded! Don’t waste your time, this store has horrible customer service!

2020-09-26I have ordered wine from all over the world. Never in my 30 years of doing so have I ever encountered such a dishonest operation as this. I paid for expedited shipping on three bottles of wine almost 3 weeks ago and have yet to receive it. Do not do business with this shop. They will steal your money and you’ll end up with nothing. James
