The Ray Team (father and son duo who run the shop) are awesome. I am / was a first time tractor buyer, and throughout the entire process they were both incredibly helpful. This is not a small investment so I wanted to take my time and make sure that I got the right machine for my needs. They took the time to meet with me, e-mail back and forth a number of times, chat on the phone a few times, and really made sure that I understood what I was getting, and why it made sense. On more than one occasion they convinced me to get a smaller (and less expensive) implement because it would fit my needs better. That says a lot, they could have taken the extra few bucks but instead prioritized my overall satisfaction. On top of this, the Rays were also great with my family - we brought both of our boys to the shop a few times, and they were allowed to sit on the tractors, they answered all of my wifes questions as well, and when we left (before agreeing to any purchases) they made sure to send us away with some goodies for the boys which was a really nice touch. On top of all of this, the delivery of the tractor was really smooth, they brought it right to our property, drove it down to our parking lot (its a pretty steep hill) and walked us through the controls of the machine again. There are a number of other things they did throughout the process that we really appreciated, including getting to take a look at the machine while they were prepping it, they gave us some contacts for other services I need done around my property, and they shared a ton of knowledge with us - Im looking forward to doing more business with this great small business.

From sales to service, they are top notch. I have dealt with them for over 15 years and have purchased numerous pieces of equipment from them. Always a pleasure dealing with people who have a great breadth and depth of knowledge about the equipment they sell. Love that they service the equipment they sell as well. When ever they perform the annual maintenance service on my lawn tractor and snow blower, they always come back looking all shiny and new as if they just came off the showroom floor. They have always gone the extra mile in providing the personal touch you wont get a a big box store and take great pride in doing it.UPDATE: 5/24/22If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. The mower deck on my lawn mower dropped to the ground while cutting the lawn right before a graduation party. I could not get the deck to raise up off the ground using either the manual attachment lift lever or the electric height adjustment.I made a desperate call to Soslers to explain my dilemma on Saturday morning and asked them if there was anything they could do. Ray said they had a delivery to do but would stop by on the way back to see if there was a quick on the spot fix they could do. Within the hour they had stopped by to look at the mower but were unable to fix it on the spot because the electric motor that raises and lowers the deck was shot. Unfortunately, this was not a part they had in stock and it would need to be ordered.My heart sunk as I did not think they would be able to get the part in time to be able to finish the lawn before the party. Ray took the mower back to the shop and said he would call when the part came in. Two hours later, Ray called to say that he took the part off a brand new mower in the showroom and had delivered the mower back to my house just so that we could finish the lawn before the party. The Ray Team really came through in the clutch for us and we will forever be grateful. Its this kind of personal service that really makes them stand out from the rest. Thanks again to the Ray Team.
I recently bought a new GC1725M and front snowblower from Soslers. I couldnt be happier with the level of service I received. As I first time tractor buyer I had a lot of questions and the Ray team was there to answer every one of them. Upon delivery they fully went over the operation controls and how to swap the loader with the blower. I would highly recommend Soslers to anyone for their tractor and garden needs.
I was in the market for a sub compact tractor for my home and decided to purchase a MF from Soslers. The business has been there for a long time and passed down in the family, this played a part in my decision because I like to be able to get parts locally as well as support a small business in the area. I compared many other brands and there are plenty competitors. This tractor was not the cheapest option available but that is not always the best way to go in my opinion. Ray and his son were helpful with all questions when I was buying what I wanted, up front about availability on things, and delivered my tractor and attachments earlier than anticipated. They took the time to go over everything in my driveway when delivering everything. I mentioned that I would be removing the backhoe attachment and hooking up my rotary mower the following day and Ray said he would stop by the following afternoon to show me how to switch the attachments over to make sure I didnt have any problems. The next afternoon he showed up right when he said he would and did exactly that. That type of service is what made me go with them and I hope the continue to a relationship with the shop.

My intentions were to go in and find out what I could buy as far as a tractor a Mower deck on it and a Snow blower attachment. The place was locked up like Fort Knox there was a number to call I called it the gentleman came out and met me in the parking lot I asked if we could go in and sit down and he told me no so my reply was OK thank you and I turned to walk away when the gentleman made a statement, You dont respect , My reply when I interrupted him was shut up Im leaving Im not gonna spend thousands of dollars to talk to you in a parking lot
I purchased a new Massey Ferguson 1526 Tractor from Ray and Ray, the entire experience was first class. From reviewing the details of the tractor, answering my questions (which was a lot) etc. during the purchase they were honest and very informative. I was fortunate enough to be able to see inside of their facility and service department, their shop floor is as clean as most peoples kitchens! More importantly I was able to talk to Ray and Ray for a very long time and based on our interactions, my gut feeling on who they were and how they treated me earned my business.They delivered my tractor on Saturday Oct. 9th and it arrived clean and shiny. They reviewed its operation, key points on fluid levels etc. They even earned some choclate chip cookies from my wife! On Sunday the 10th with barely an hour of seat time I noticed a leak underneath of the tractor, the leak was hydraulic fluid and it was substantial. I called and emailed Soslers about the problem and on a Sunday (Holiday weekend and football season) I received a return call within 15 minutes and an email within 20 minutes). They arranged to get the unit picked up on a Monday (Columbus Day) and returned to their shop. By Monday afternoon they contacted me informing me that they had diagnosed the problem (hydraulic hose pinched between frame of tractor/loader frame) which was a manufacture error not an error on their part. The parts wereordered and when they arrived they would repair it. On Wednesday at 6 PM they arrived in my driveway ( I had informed them I would not need it until the weekend) to deliver my tractor. It was clean and shiny as it was the first day I saw it. The tractor has been everything I had hoped it would be. I have put 10 hours on it moving logs, firewood, pulling stumps etc. with no further issues.I spent 4 years researching machines, dealers, businesses etc. I wanted to ensure I was getting value out of my hard earned money. The tractor is valuable in getting the work done, the true value is in Ray and Ray Sosler. Honest guys who stand behind their product! If your buying these are the guys to buy from! I cannot say enough positive things about them!
The entire experience with Soslers has been a pleasure,. No pressure during my evaluation of their products. Very knowledgeable and patient with someone that knew nothing about tractors, loaders and backhoes.They walked me through the entire process from the best financing to onsite training.They are THE BEST. I only wish I bought one 25 years ago instead of waiting so long!All businesses should treat you as well as Soslers.
I bought a used Massey Ferguson and was not able to operate the 3 point hitch. I called Soslers wondering if my machine was broken and needed to be brought in for repair. They were able to inform me on how to disconnect the backup correctly and connect the 3 point hitch attachment up correctly. They did not have to help me seeing how I did not buy my machine through them, but they did help me with out question. I strongly recommend Soslers for their generous and honest support.
Did research on a Massey Ferguson with several dealers. While soslers was not the closest to my home, they were the most helpful dealer I spoke with. Ray and his son ray jr responded to my email in a timely fashion, gave me a competitive price, and followed through with every aspect of the sale. Equipment came in earlier than expected, and was delivered to my home at no extra charge . They both went over the use and instructions of the equipment at my home with my son and I. We just bought a brand new sub compact from Soslers, and it was a great experience. They were the first stop we made, and after checking out other tractors from around the area, we went with Soslers for our purchase. They made it easy from the first day, when I first stopped by to take a look at the tractors. Their prices are great, and they did all the work to make it all happen, they kept me up to date on everything going on and delivery was fast. When delivery was made, they took more time than I excepted to make sure my wife and I understood everything about the tractor that we needed to know. Great guys, and great service!

My riding mower died on me after 10 years of service. I contacted Ray at Soslers to see if he anything used in his inventory. He didnt, but forwarded me a few leads from his network of customers and acquaintances, who were selling their used mowers. While they were great offers, nothing seemed to fit my needs. So I worked with Ray and decided to invest in new Simplicity Courier zero-turn mower. The rest is history. The Ray team ordered the mower, prepped it, delivered it to my doorstep, unloaded it, started it and gave me a quick tutorial on how to operate it. Cant beat that service!
I fell behind on maintenance of my CG2410 because of COVID, but finally felt comfortable having the machine serviced. The Rays checked every nut, bolt and fluid level, brought all preventive maintenance up to date, delivered it back like new and told me about some debris build-up I hadnt realized before...great education.
Stopped by the showroom one day with questions on their compact tractors. Ray took the time to explain the difference in models and to discuss purchase & finance options. Ray was extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. Over the next couple weeks, I had numerous discussions with Ray Sr. & Jr. Both always took the time to thoroughly answer my questions. Never once did I feel pressured to make a purchase. Once I made the decision to purchase and take delivery, Ray agreed to deliver the tractor to my property which is ~2.5 hours from their shop. On delivery day both Ray’s spent about 2 hours with me going over the operation of the tractor. I am extremely satisfied with the professionalism of Sosler’s and the quality of Massey Ferguson. I would highly reccomend them and will definitely do business with them in the future.

The Massey Ferguson Backhoe/Front Loader is a great piece of equipment. Its very handy moving old trees,mucking out animal pens and will be extremely handy come wintertime for snow removal.Ray Sr. and Ray Jr. were extremely helpful with all aspects of the sale and delivery of my tractor. From securing the financing of thetractor and showing me multiple times on the use of all the controls during the sale and also when they delivered the tractor. Theyre a Great Team. Soslers just completed a repair service on a tractor I purchased from them nearly eight years ago. The Ray Team took pains to explain my options and were flexible on the delivery and repair schedule. When the tractor arrived back at my home, they reviewed the very detailed bill listing all repairs/parts and made sure I understood exactly what was done and why. As an extra bonus , the tractor was cleaned, detailed and had a full tank of fuel! I am happy to support this honest, family-owned establishment and look forward to many more years of doing business.

I needed a new snow blower and they had the one I wanted in stock. They took care of all the paperwork and had it waiting for me and even loaded into my van.It’s a nice family run store that treats their customers with professionalism and courtesy.I highly recommend this business.
The team at Soslers is incredibly helpful. Their expertise spans well over a generation. Even when they are not likely to make an immediate sale they are immensely helpful. Well worth a trip to the other side of the Hudson River to see them. Plus they are not far from the Tri-state point where NY-NJ-PA come together and easy to access.
We told Soslers what we were looking for and what we needed it to do. They said we needed a 50 horse power or greater tractor to accommodate our work. They were like family giving us the pros & cons of the different models and didnt pressure us to buy one over the other just gave us the facts.
I guess if you don’t buy your tractor from them and instead you buy service parts for one that you purchased used you don’t get the same respect from Ray Sr. I purchased a used tractor three-four weeks ago and have been purchasing all OEM parts from Sosler’s. This morning I go to pick up a part that I ordered from them pushing my total spend in 2 weeks to over $1k. I pull up by the far door to do a quick curbside pickup. As I pulled in I was finishing up a call I started 21min earlier, in a matter of 1 min or so Sr comes out (my assumption is to ask what I had ordered) I roll down my window and say good morning Ray and without hesitation he proceeds to tell me how the front of his business is not an office and to pull up or pull out! All because I was finishing up my phone call? I understand that we are in some new and unique times but there was 100 different and better ways Sr could have handled the situation with a patron of their business. When I let him calmly know I did not appreciate the “office” comment instead of just apologizing, he started to justify his remark, in my opinion just making it worst. In the future I will drive 20 min further and take my business to a shop that treats it customers with decency and respect.
Went to Soslers Tractor Dealership today at 2;10pm. Dealership was open for business, or so I thought .Went to the front door and read the sign which stated that the door was locked for health concerns and that the phone number on the sign should be called. Proceeded to call the number which was answered by someone stating Soslers and asked what I needed. I told the individual that I was interested in purchasing a tractor. To my surprise the reply that I received was that we are on our lunch break. I left the location and returned 25 minutes later and once again called the number for assistance. Once again I stated that i was looking to by a tractor and this time the response was We are still on our break. Apparently this dealership is doing so well that they can afford to turn away customers when they want. This experience reminded me of a movie called( My Cousin Vinny. )The scene where Joe Pescis character couldnt by a suit because the whole store had the flu. In this case the whole dealership was on lunch. Will be sending a nice email to ARCO corp (Parent Company)

Great, helpful, responsive, family owned business. I’ve had a couple maintenance questions on work I’ve needed to perform on my MF1528 and every time I’ve received great info, and always pictorial parts diagrams for anything I’ve had to get my hands on. Good company to buy a tractor from.
Great old fashioned dealer. They service what they sell, and they are there for you when you have a problem. This is the way dealerships should be. Because even quality equipment breaks, or needs servicing. A great dealer will make all the difference. Soslers has been great for the 8 years Ive been a customer.
I bought a second-hand Massey Ferguson compact tractor and a reconditioned (with new motor) ride-on M-F lawn mower from Soslers. Four years later, both machines have been superb. They could as easily have been brand new. Soslers has also had any filters or parts I need in stock. I enjoy doing business with them.

The two rays were great from sales to delivery. Needed a better riding mower because the clearance and ride on my John Deere wasnt working for my property. The new zero turn does what I want and has the clearance. I bought a snow tractor from them last year with a blower and bucket attachment that is the best for doing my large driveway and circle drive. They added more lights for me and delivered it and explained how to use. My brother got one too. I would recommend them to family and friends. I like people who sell to be honest and know their products and they do both.
Stop at this business today to get one of the GC1700 model tractors. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and answered all my questions regarding the tractor and the financing options. I have been a customer of Soslers for ten years now. I bought my front end loader/backhoe, boss v-snowplow and mini-salter from them. I always get great customer service and expert repairs. My Massey as I call her, has been a great machine for ten years now and has really stood up over time. I have my own business as a stonemason/landscaper and this machine never stops working hard for us. Absolutely love the Boss v-plow. Would never get a straight blade plow again!
This place is immaculate, the Ray team know their products cold. They always go out of there way to explain why something is the way it is. Additionally these guys treat all their customers as if their the first one and believe in Quality from every aspect of their business. I have purchased equipment of all size in countless places and never got treated as respectfully as Sosslers. Their patient and always willing to pick up the phone to help. They gave me a pretty accurate eye ball assessment right there as they loaded my 2927 tractor onto the flat bed. Called and asked if they could perform service on a pair of axles from an old farm tractor. Guy says normally yes, but not today. I asked when? He asks if I will need to buy the parts. I said I had them, but I wasnt brave enough to do the work. He told me to get brave, because he cant do them.Guess if you dont buy something from them they wont do anything for you even if youre willing to pay for labor.Horrible customer service. Will NEVER call them again.Update - did the axles myself. Turned out to be easier than expected.
I have been using my tractor GC 1700 for the summer and love it. The tractor has met my expectations and was able to finish a bunch of projects around the house and finding other uses for the tractor. The product is a good quality tractor and the guys at Soslers were really professional in purchasing and delivery of the tractor.
I needed a 3 point hitch mower for my tractor. After doing some research. The Woods brand is what I settled on. Soslers was the dealer close to me. So I went there and they had what I wanted.After a few minutes of talking tell me about the mower. I bought it. They loaded it on my trailer and I went home.Couldnt be happier. If you need some high end equipment go see Sosler you will be happy.
I would like to tell you about my experience with Ray senior and Ray Junior. They are very down-to-earth guys best mom and pop shops around its nice to be able to call someone and they answer your question. I do not want to support these giant chain stores because they dont know the products they are selling.. they are The Last of the Mohicans dependable mechanics and good salespeople Steve Greco from Queens New York I buy all my equipment from them.
Bought a tractor here that was over $20K. The son was great to deal with, but the dad was horrible. Look, I knew what I wanted and had already paid, but the dad was so used to lying that I guess he couldnt help himself. He told me several times how they were going to mail me X, or give me Y. Never got either. Didnt expect it up front, but then dont build false expectations. Later went back for help with the tractor, asking if they would do the work, and they said no. Theyre only interested in selling, not in servicing. I have since switched to a dealer thats a bit further away, but I will NEVER EVER go back to this place. Too bad because the son is great to deal with, but you have the human poison of the dad to deal with every time you go in there.

HORRIBLE DO NO EVEN BOTHER: I went there to get help with a simplicity snow blower I bought from them many years prior - I brought the part with me, and the person behind the counter was rude, insulting and unhelpful. Places like this do not deserve to be in buisness - if I knew that when I bought the snow blower Id have gone to a box store at least they try to help you.

2021-12-14I bought a used tractor from Sosler’s a few years ago. It was meticulously detailed and looked like it was brand new. Since then, I’ve purchased numerous implements and maintenance parts from them. They stand by their products and are always willing to answer questions/offer valuable advice. Whenever I need equipment, this is where I go.

They provided information and answered my questions to help with my buying decisions. So far I am pleased with my Massey Ferguson tractor and I was very pleased with the service at Soslers. 2022-01-27I purchased a Sub-Compact Tractor/ Loader/Backhoe from this fine local family business which has been operating for decades, providing a great American Made Product and Excellent Service for years and through the trying times of a major pandemic. I have recommended them to others and they have all come away more than satisfied. People, do the right thing and support this business to keep this local company going, for they sell outstanding products and services that support farming, agriculture, and other industries which is becoming ever more important to have on a daily basis. The more businesses just like this one that fade away, the worse things get for everyone.The best part is the gratification that comes from owning a great machine that grows in use with every implement purchased. It has given me a renewed sense of pride of ownership, accomplishment and uncompromising feeling of satisfaction. Having it saves time and labor, especially on my back.I’ve use my setup for Superstorm Sandy cleanup of major pine tree forest devastation, snow removal, landscaping, tree stump and debris removal, laying/grooming gravel driveways, just to name a few uses. I have bought many things in my lifetime. My tractor enhanced with the implements have been my best purchase over everything, hands down!!!No lie……

They delivered my new tractor on time despite snow squalls throughout the day that day. They took the time to familiarize me with my new equipment. 2021-12-03I purchased a sub-compact tractor from Soslers and the process was seamless and professional. Ray and his son Ray are very knowledgeable and the transaction went smoothly. Although I live 20 miles from the store, delivery of the tractor was prompt and they took the time to demonstrate and explain all functions of the tractor. 2021-07-23I just purchased a new 1725MB and they made the buying process a breeze! They were very patient as I have a busy schedule and were able to navigate me through the buying process like no other. 2022-05-12Bought a brand new lawnmower 3 yrs ago. Left it outside during the winter covered & unfortunately rodents made a home. When my lawnmower wouldnt start my husband called Soslers and spoke with Ray. He tried to help troubleshoot the problem over the phone. When that didnt work my husband took the lawnmower to be serviced. When my husband pulled in they immediately worked on the lawnmower to try something they couldnt do over the phone. They proceeded to work on my lawnmower 5 min after pulling in and it was fixed within 30 min without charging me... saving me time and money. Very grateful to Ray and his father for their professional assistance.
