I was looking for a car to buy within a specific price range when I came across this dealer with the car that I wanted. I called and spoke to Richie. He was VERY easy to work with. Just purchased a 2012 Range rover from Richie @ South Shore Auto Brokers. Couldnt be happier . Richie was honest ,very upfront and straightforward throughout the process. The car has 49,000 but looks like its brand new. It runs great . In fact all the vehicles at his dealership look beautiful. He mostly had Land Rovers which I liked . He is extremely knowledgeable and was very helpful ( when I went to pick up and drive home I forgot my plates. He let me borrow his dealer plate so that was very nice) He also gave me a set of range rover mats which included the rear cargo area as well . These were made by Range Rover very heavyduty ....The process was very easy and comfortable. Something you might not think possible when buying a used car. Richie is up front and doesnt try to do the big hard sell. He doesnt because his vehicles really do the talking. Like I said they really all are in beautiful shape.And last but not least Richie had his rescue dog Achilles in the showroom both times I was there. Im an animal person and when I saw him I knew Richie was a good guy... Just a little thing to most people but Richie kept Achilles collar off when he was in the showroom . Showing to me he was concerned about Achilles comfort in a very sensitive way...Thats it .... Have a good feeling about my purchase and am looking forward to many happy years with my (new) 2012 rover.

OMG- what a great experience working with Richie at South Shore Autos. Great selection of superb autos- he particularly specializes in Land Rovers- we found the perfect combo of Buckingham Blue with Parchment / Navy interior - one of one in the whole country. And at a very fair price. He also took special care of the vehicle with new tires, oil change, etc. He’s a no BS guy. Honesty is hard to find these days and Richie has it in spades. We would highly recommend working with him- if he doesn’t have it, he can find it.

Richie and Nick went above and beyond to help me get the car that I wanted. I purchased the 2008 Honda CRV for a fair price and he made sure that it was serviced before I picked it up! The website provides a great amount of info about the car: pictures, Carfax, and specs. They were respectful and patient throughout the whole process. They were really personable and were more like old time friends than actual sales associates. This was my first time buying a car on my own and they made the experience nothing but pleasant. My experience buying a 2006 Toyota Tacoma from Richie about three years ago was so good that I turned to him recently when the truck needed some paint work. If you find a car Richie has, and you like it, then go ahead and buy with confidence! I missed out on two of his Range Rovers, because I was dragging my feet. There was never any pressure from Richie, he does not add dealer fees, he encourages you to get your own financing, as opposed to virtually all dealerships that try and push you to their department that ends up costing you more. Eventually a car came up that I really wanted, and Richie gave me a more than fair trade in value for my old car. Ive had the car for almost two months (driving daily), and havent had a single issue with the vehicle. Definitely my best car buying experience Ive ever been through, and I will repeat business in the future with full confidence.

I’m one to only post reviews fromNegative experiences but this time around I feel it’s only right to post a great experience to save people time and money when car shopping. I saw a vehicle I liked and the price was very fair , I thought once I called I’d get the bait and switch like most dealerships nowadays. I’ve purchased a good amount of cars and I’m familiar with the bad practices of most dealers. To my surprise I dealt directly with the owner “Richie” whom is very involved and hands on. I didn’t get a bogus 3k fee added on to the price or pressured to take any aftermarket warranty. I didn’t need financing either and that didn’t change the price either. I strongly suggest this place for a smooth car buying experience. I will definitely continue to do business with them on my future vehicle purchases.
Richie is a good guy. Hes very straight forward and transparent with you. He doesnt try to hide anything or talk with you about any gimmicks. He just shows you the car tells you what issues there are with it if there are any and sells you the car. No dealer fees, no hidden fees, no confusing inconsistent conversations. He provides the service history and shows you everything about the car. Hes reliable and trust worthy. We saw a car online that we liked and gave him a call and told him we would look at it one day. But then later we called back and asked if it would be okay to look at the car 2 days later because of the bad weather. He said it was fine and held the car for us. I was actually surprised the car was still there when we visited 2 days later. We test drove the car and saw a better car that we liked on the lot. He didnt give us a hard time about it, and we got the other car on the same day. It was very clean and ran well. Was happy we were able to help my sister buy her first car. Definitely recommend you get a used car from him.

Rich is Great. I bought several cars over my lifetime and i must say Rich made this car buying experience very smooth and comfortable. Not only did he drive the truck 60 miles to my doorstep just so i can see it but he did not put any pressure on me to buy it. Fortunately he sells quality cars so we made a deal on the spot. He left the truck and got a ride home from one of his employees. He also stands behind what he sells with a 2 month bumper to bumper warranty so i at least have peace of mind for some time. Where do I even begin with this dealership. Genuine, caring, and all around great group of guys. Richie has an amazing inventory with high class cars that are all immaculate. Richie truly wants you to have a great experience, and to leave with confidence in your purchase. I went for a different vehicle, but when I spotted a 2013 Cadillac ATS4, i decided to test drive it. Needless to say, I fell in love with the car. The car looked, and felt brand new. But prior to my purchase, Richie made sure everything was up to his standards and did over $2,000 worth of work to it. He had done the tires, the brakes, the rotors, the wipers, and changed the oil. Detailed and washed the car, and truly made it look brand new. I never once felt forced, or pressured into purchasing the car, and the car was priced extremely fairly and met my standards in every way. I recommend this dealership in every way, shape, and form imaginable, and I will be referring friends and family to do business with Richie and his team in the future. Good condition car
I purchased a car for this place and I was sold a lemon! The transmission pan was missing. The car was leaking oil! When I looked on the hood it was paint missing!!!. I will never ever go back! Before you buy a car from them, take it to a mechanic and let them do a thorough inspection!!. SHOP AT YOU OWN RISK!!!!.
Ive purchased over a dozen cars in my lifetime and I have to say the my experience at South Shore Auto Brokers and Sales was by far the best car buying experience Ive encountered. I came in to look at a 2015 Cadillac Escalade Platinum Edition and met with Richie. He explained to me in great detail about the truck, all the options, its service history, and financing options. Richie gave me alone time to drive the vehicle and get up close and personal with the functions. Richie made me feel very comfortable with absolutely no pressure to buy. He answered any and all questions with a genuine concern and NOT the average used car salesman antics. After some time passed I made the decision to buy the vehicle. during the entire process Richie was amazingly professional and honest. Later that evening Richie called to check on me and the car which was amazing. The entire process and the vehicle itself was GREAT. If and when I need another vehicle or know someone looking to buy one, South Shore Brokers and Auto Sales will be my first stop.

I bought a $50,000 2014 Range Rover sport and made sure I also got the $5,000 warranty because I know those trucks are expensive to fix. When the check engine light came on six month later a I call the warranty company I found out it was never purchased. I called Richie, the owner South Shore Auto, and he told he never got me the warranty but he would honor it in his own shop. I ask for a refund of the $5000 so I can just buy another warranty from Range Rover but he refused. After a lot of text messages I finally broke and took the truck an hour and a half to his shop because the check engine light was still on. When I got there they told me they didnt have space to check my truck and I had to come back another day. After that experience I just wanted a refund but again was denied. I would have gone to court to try and get this resolved but Covid hit. In the end I had to trade in a truck I loved because I couldnt drive around with out a warranty. Do not trust car salesman. A very valuable and expensive lesson I learned from South Shore Auto.
I can honestly say this was by far the most relaxing, honest and fair car buying experience I have ever had. When I left the dealership the first time I felt a sense of relaxation, and calmness. This was due to the many car buying experiences I’ve seen and dealt with in the past. Where the car salesmen were pushy, dishonest, high pressure and fast talking. My experience with Richie was the complete opposite, he was honest, mellow and simply just a nice person. Me and the person I went with said to each other this is unbelievable can a car buying experience really be this laid back and honest. This is an honest review from an honest buyer that has never been to this dealership or met Richie before this first purchase. Richie was very fair with the trade in and there was no price haggling. In fact the vehicle I purchased was an Infiniti QX56 and had more extras then Richie even mentioned. 2 weeks after my purchase I was thrilled when I realized the truck had remote start. I still do not completely understand how to operate the front and rear climate control because the truck has so many high end features. I’m not sure if it’s the truck or me. Absolutely fantastic experience. Cames across a posting for the car of my dreams online which led me to South Shore Auto sales website. Saw all the great pictures and information and instantly knew I had to go see this car. Called up right away and talked to Richie and setup appointment for next day. You always have those fears when going car buying but for me those fears turned to pure excitement the minute I stepped into South Shore Auto sales and met Richie. Richie is top notch and pure class. Richie is someone you only dream of finding when buying a car because not once did I feel pressured or feel like I was being taken advantage of like every other dealership. Richie sold us a 2012 Hyundai in late May 2019. We encountered a problem 2 weeks ago and he was more than helpful. It had been more than 6 months since the purchase but he took it upon himself and his shop to figure out the issue and work till its resolution. He even went the extra mile of having it picked up and delivered back to our home. He was in constant communication with us and professional in all aspects. Usually I only do private sales with meticulous or enthusiast buyers but Richie was a complete pleasure to work with, answered all my questions, took tons of pictures of everything I asked for and genuinely seemed like a good person. After scouring the internet for information on car dealerships, what Ive seen is enough to scare me away and make me buy from a risky private seller. Hundreds of fake 5 star reviews buried on top of the hundreds of real 1 star reviews, along with the false advertising on vehicles and hidden dealer fees. If they were lucky enough to get me to show up to their dealership, they would try to convince me to purchase a vehicle I had no intention of buying and then the snobby attitude when I decide I dont want a car from them. Last week I purchased a gorgeous Ford F-150 from South Shore Auto Brokers & Sales in Massapequa and cannot be more happy with my truck and the buying experience. It was a totally different car buying experience than what i am use to. There was no high pressure “what can we do to get the car off the lot today” or the confusing numbers games that car dealers use to sell cars. Nick and Richie were extremely patience with me as I dealt with South Shore Auto Brokers over a period of 2 weeks to get the sale done. I saw the truck on a Sunday afternoon and was greatly impressed with how clean the truck was despite having over 84000 miles on it. I came back the following day with my wife and her brother (a mechanic) and to took the truck for a test drive and I was totally impressed on how well the truck drove and ran, but was reluctant to buy then due the the mileage. It took almost 2 weeks to commit to buying the truck, Nick and I kept in touch via text and calls, and at no time did Nick pressure me to buy. Nick and Richie were patience with me in my numerous questions and requests. Richie even brought the paperwork to me as it was difficult for me to get back to his shop.From the very start, I was impressed with Richie and South Shore Auto Brokers and Sales. Richie takes the time to answer all review which shows he is committed to consumer satisfaction. I was also impressed of the 80 to 100 pictures of the vehicle that I purchased. These pictures not only shown how great shape this vehicle was in, but also its imperfections, like scraps in the front bumper and some scratches that the previous owner used touch up paint on. I was able to secure my own financing and did not effect the price. Even though, I requested information on Car protection plans (warranties), I was not pressured into purchasing one. Richie from South Shore Auto Brokers and Sales was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He was always quick to return my phone calls or texts. There were absolutely no hidden fees or charges which is extremely rare when dealing with both used car dealers and dealerships. The deal was sealed with a handshake and I didnt even have to leave a deposit. Richie completely went through the car prior to delivery making sure everything was perfect and fixed even the most minor things. He even changed the windshield wipers and filled it with gas before delivering it right to my house. I cant say enough what a pleasurable experience it really was to deal with him. I cannot recommend this business highly enough.

Richie is the most honest and helpful auto dealer Ive ever met. He is always responive, even in weekend night after 9pm.He is cooperative on pricing and does exactly as what he promises. Let alone the great service he provided for the car, and that is all for free! I was interested in a truck @ South Shore but I live in Jersey. At first glance of the listing and after reading Richies spiel, I have to say I was even more skeptical lol. It appeared it was just any other car dealer and I wasnt looking forward to driving all the way to Long Island to have the same dealership experience. Richie is an instantly likeable guy. In addition, we agreed to a price and thereafter, he kept the truck to service and fix a couple of things on it when he could have totally sent me home with it the day I purchased it. Instead, I came back after the car was serviced, parts fixed and detailed. He even mailed me an additional part the was needed on the interior. Pretty much unheard of these days. Totally would drive back to Long Island to buy another truck from Richie. Plus he has a Pitbull so that pretty much sealed the deal for me...
Boy O boy where can I even begin? Never in my entire life have I experienced a car purchasing process as easy, non stressful, problem free and exciting from start to finish than my recent purchase at South Shore Auto Brokers and Sales dealing directly with Richie. I cant tell you how many times I entered a car dealership extremely excited by the thought of purchasing my new car and by the time I leave Im so frustrated that the excitement is completely drained and ripped from me by the gimmicks and scams encountered at some of these other shady so called businesses. Each using their own tricks of the trade to lure you in with the bait and switch and many other gimmicks they try. NOT HERE! Majority of our negotiation by my choice took place via email or text. And negotiations is probably not even a good description of what we did, we may have at best gone back-and-forth once or twice. Lets just say I may have offered to buy this pristine vehicle for just a bit less than you would expect to pay for a car as beautiful as the one Richie sold me. In the end we landed on a very reasonable price and a great offer on my trade in, which only made things that much easier. Im the kind of person that will not buy anything without doing an enormous amount of research on not only the product but the company and its past dealings with customers. And just like you, I read the reviews feeling somewhat skeptical that no one could be as fair and reasonable in the used car business as everyone claimed Richie to be. But believe it or not Im not his cousin or past buddy or some fake review. Richie truly is the guy everyone writes about!! He makes his living pleasing his customers delivering a product that he can be proud of and in the end like myself Im sure youll leave extremely pleased with the overall experience and the outcome. From the moment I stepped into the shop and met Richie he made me feel like family or a great friend in a very comfortable atmosphere. He took care of everything from top to bottom. Any paper work was completed and ready to go for my signature and/or initials, DMV switch of the plates, anything you can think of he took care of it, soup to nuts and the deal was unlike anything I would have imagined. While all the formalities are being taken care of by Richie and myself the car was being prepped for us to go and only then was I allowed to leave happily. Richie would not allow for anything to leave his shop unless it past his level of expectations prior. I truly cant say enough, thank you very much Richie! You will definitely be the person I recommend all friends and family to see for their vehicle purchasing needs. Richie truly breaks the mold in terms of the typical used car salesman caricatured wearing the plaid blazer. He works and operates in this fast paced generation of instant gratification dealing comfortably with email and text rather than snail mail and fax machines of the past. You get what you need when you need it with a level of white glove service which at times seems too good to be true. If you are shopping for a car go see cousin Richie and his puppy Achilles over at South Shore Auto Brokers and Sales you will be delighted you did. I went in earlier today to look at a pre-owned Range Rover. I am starting a new business as well as getting into real estate, and thought a Range Rover would be a good “business” car. After finding South Shore Auto Brokers and reading many of their 5 star reviews I decided to call up and see if the car is still available.Upon arriving I was greeted by Richie, the owner. He was extremely nice, polite and knowledgeable about every vehicle on his lot! He is a workaholic, he truly cares about his business and is completely transparent in his dealings. No hidden fees, no bs. Hard to find in the car business.All of South Shores cars are in immaculate condition and Richie puts work into his vehicles (whether they need it or not) just to ensure his customer doesn’t need to worry about. He even showed me some of the bills!I could go on and on about how South Shore Auto Brokers is an excellent place to buy a clean pre-owned car and how’s its run by very honest, good hearted people but go see for yourself! As good as it gets!From start to finish, this transaction for my favorite car was a walk in the park. At the start, I find my favorite vehicle ever, 2004 Mercury Marauder. Low miles, 100+ pictures of immaculation and a phone number in Massaquena, NY to call. I call this number and talk with Richie who tells me he would hold this vehicle without a deposit. I tell him it would take me three weeks with my schedule to get a plane ticket up to New York. No problem, the car will be here when I am ready, says Richie. Richie was just that easy to talk to and to deal with in all events leading up to signing on the dotted line. I flew up to New York, a car was sent for me at the airport and a couple of hours I was driving away in my like-brand new 2004 Mercury Marauder.This was by far my best experience with a car dealership and I have had two really good ones and one disaster. There are two types of people who dont know the pain of buying a car: people who never bought a car, and people who bought a car from Richie. Heres how buying a car from him goes: you call him up to ask if a certain car has not been sold yet. The first thing he says is something like yes, the car is here, and of course you can come look at it. The next thing you hear is Im letting you know right now, the car has these and those flaws, and I will fix them for you. After being amazed that you finally found a man who is honest enough to tell you what is wrong, you go to look at the car. Upon arriving you find that the car you wanted is so clean and good looking that you no longer want to look at any other car. You take the car for a ride, find that it drives the same way it looks, and you ask whats next. Richie tells you that he will contact you as soon as any possible issue with the car is fixed, and after it passes inspection by his mechanic, and you will only have to be at the DMV to sign the papers and drive off. Then you ask the question everyone is afraid to ask a car dealer: what about the final price? Any other dealer would take you to the office, pull out a calculator, start typing something in, and tell you that the final price is about $4000 more than the price you saw online. Every other dealer, but not Richie. He just pulls out his phone, opens up a calculator, calculates the tax from the price you saw online, adds to that the fees you have to pay for registration, and tells you the final price. As straight forward as it gets, with no hidden fees, and no other tricks. You shake hands, he does not take any deposits, instead he goes by his and your word. Fast forward a little bit, you are at the DMV signing the papers, all of which he fills out for you, and in no time you drive off in your new car, wondering why arent all car dealers as honest, trustworthy, and absolutely amazingly professional as Richie.If you want to buy a car, go to Richie, dont waste your time and effort on other dealers, hes the only one you can truly trust.
Just bought a BWM convertible from Richie. It was a very un-used car experience. Simple, straight forward, user friendly. We spoke on the phone a couple of times and then I scheduled a specific time to go visit the car. I got there, we talked for 5 mins, I took a test drive solo for 15 mins, we came back talk for 10 mins and then I went home to do some research. I called him later that day and we had a handshake.Two days later he drove the car to my house and voila we were done. Amazingly simple and user friendly. Bravo. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him/use him again.

Then I found South Shore Auto Brokers n Sales. While dealing with the owner Ritchie, I found someone very knowledgeable and extremely helpful who always managed to keep my budget in mind.
