Waited over a month for my appointment. I arrive there today to be told they stopped taking my insurance. They never called me or anything to let me know. Now I have to start this whole process over again with someone else. Waste of my time, and my injury is not getting better with these delays.

Honestly, this clinic is a roll of the dice. If you are polite with the front desk, they are usually nice to you. The Med assistants and LPNS are wonderful. Never had a bad run in with anyone here. Dr Arguriou (that spelling is probably wrong) does my spine injections and she is professional, she will tell you what she can do and she will also tell you what you can’t do!The reason for my less than 5 stars is the fact that the office has had a lot of turn over and mis organization. There is no way to directly speak to my care team. They don’t send out letters when big changes happen, such as when the provider you see suddenly quit the practice. I usually only see him every 3 months and only discovered he was gone when I needed an emergency appointment. They had over 2.5 months to notify me!! So now they have added all the exodus providers case load to another doctor in Riverhead (same practice, different clinic). I will review them separately because that experience has a whole different vibe. Patchogue has its rough edges, but once they sort through some turn over, I’m hopeful they can get back on track. I’ll update this review on my next appointment.

Believe all the Negative Reviews. Waited over a month for an appointment, they call the DAY BEFORE my appointment saying it has to be rescheduled for another 2 weeks out. If a Patient did that they would be crying about charging for the appointment. These so called Doctors are getting worse and worse around here....

Appointment with Dr. Raza to review MRI of brain. I was very concerned and Dr. Raza performed a exam, spent time going over the MRI, explaining the findings and eased my fears. A battery of tests will be conducted and I feel comfortable in his hands. Glad I came back to South Shore Neurologic.Jack ReillyEast Patchogue

I am at Southshore in Patchogue weekly, every Tuesday 4 to 6 hrs for infusion. The infusion staff is always kind and helpful. The nurses are excellent and wonderful and infusion is always a comfortable because of the nurses. Infusion dept is excellent and patient care is 5 stars. I have been a patient of Dr Gudasblatt since he was across from Southside hospital about 25 yrs now. I would have NEVER gotten diagnosed and better if it wasnt for him. I owe him my life. I wouldnt be walking If he didnt give up on finding out what was wrong with me. I refuse to hear and see comments that are negative. People complain about waiting. Do you want your time with the doctor? , then allow him time with others. We are all humans and have feelings. I am sure like anywhere you may get a person in a bad mood or having a bad day. Doctors nurses assistants etc Theyre Human beings like us, just held to a higher standards . They work very hard. They take care of people. Patience is a virtue.

This office is the worst for returning patient phone calls. I have been leaving messages on the coordinators voice mail regarding my medication, which was sent to the wrong pharmacy. I was told she would have the doctor resend it to the correct pharmacy, that was two days ago. That was never done. I have left numerous messages. My calls are not returned. This is the most unprofessional office I have ever had to deal with.

Honestly one of the best neurologists offices Ive been to. The staff is pretty responsive and the doctors are amazing. Dr Gudesblatt is incredible. As is Dr Firouztalé. Highly recommended.

I only gave this place two stars because Laura Buck has been one of the best medical professionals Ive ever had the joy of working with. As for the office she is working out of, 0 stars from me. There is a complete lack of professionalism as well as reliability. Tried calling the office twice to schedule an emergency appointment and was on hold for approx. 30 minutes the first time for it to sound like it was answered but no one spoke to me. The second time, I was put on hold for 28 minutes to finally be the first one in the cue which led to my phone ringing for an additional 10 minutes. 68 minutes of my life wasted trying to contact this office due to an URGENT concern all to be transferred to a voicemail. This is also not the first time I have had issues with South Shore Neuro. A while back, one of their MAs called me from their Islip office to tell me that I had mild sclerosis which had sent me into a panic attack at work. After calling the office multiple more times that day to confirm my diagnosis, I finally got a call back later that afternoon to finally be told that I had only mild scoliosis and that the MA had slipped up due to her bilingual abilities? The building manager then claimed to have spoken to this MA and apologized on her behalf. (Of course this was only after I had made a complaint about it to Dr. Anand)
