Beautiful rooms! So cute. Spacious rooms with nice bathrooms, great interior design in the lobby and the rooms, and a great location! Only complaint was hearing the kids next door bang on the inter-room door at 6am on a holiday... Nothing to really be done about those doors though I guess. Would definitely recommend this place.
Its a pretty property, representative of the beach resort vibe of the Hamptons. Very clean, spacious rooms. They offer tasty breakfasts, courteous, if slightly slow service. Unfortunately, my shower was cold two nights in a row, as the heaters were overtaxed. The front desk crew are always warm, friendly, engaging upon arrival from our exhausting day trips. Convenient location to town. Would recommend to others who are visiting this beautiful area.
A little motel/hotel off of Southampton village. It is dog friendly and not ridiculously expensive. The room was clean. Our room was a little musty and the walls were thin. We were in the dog area of the hotel. The staff was friendly and they offer freshly baked cookies in the reception area. We had a few of those.... We did not utilize any of the amenities such as the pool or the volleyball court. It was cold and drippy during our stay.
Rooms were clean and maintained daily. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Great to see a place hiring hard-working South Africans as part of their team. We ate at the attached restaurant several times (not amazing food but good for what it was) without having any complaints. Price of the food was mid range.Town centre is a 5 minute walk away with a variety of restaurants and stores.Nice amount of amenities including pool, poolside bar, conference room, game room.
What a quaint and beautiful place. Its not the biggest Inn but its in the heart of town close to everything nearby. Its the off season so not very busy. Once the summer comes the place is booming. Its not over the top its simply decorated and they have great amenities for guests. Also for parties they have a beautiful outdoor as well as indoor place. If I could give 10 stars I would. And the staff are friendly and just super nice. Its a high class area.
The stay was great the customer service was bad. Employees was awesome they took care of me LOL Donald Trump owes me a paid trip with all my family and friends coming back here this is where Donald Trump when is summer stuff and found out I was on my vacation in this the whole covid-19 that down I almost got stuck up out there but I know Cody 19 I love every part of New York New York really had my back coming from The Price is Right showcase winner on YouTube 3/ 8 /2019
You stay here for the location, pool and bus to the beach and nothing else. Its an upgraded motel but still a motel. With that said, the grounds are well kept, again location is the best as you can walk everywhere and frankly, there arent many options in Southampton. But the rooms leave a lot to be desired. Staff are fine but its very bare bone so dont expect service. Summer weekend rates are $500+ a night which is laughable but again, location location.
Pretty inn. Large rooms. Pretty bathroom except for small counter space. Late night showers and baths had no hot water. They were cold to tepid water. Convenient to town. Hotel employees were very nice and accomodating to our senior group. Made to order breakfasts were tasty.
Located just off Main Street, and five minutes from the beach, this rustic hotel has existed since Southampton Villages inception more or less. Nice, quiet, quaint rooms, an adorable fat cat named Claude who has a restaurant in his namestead, free WiFi. Great hotel staff and service. Just be careful about booking during the summer and peak seasons because it will be reasonably packed and hectic.
I like the location but I was very disappointed in the 300$ per night room I couldnt even get hot water till the second day after the water went out for an hour. The restaurant has okay food but you have to wait an hour after you order to get the food. The bed was not very good and the tv is less than satisfactory. The walls are as thin as paper you can hear people whispering two rooms over. The front door girl has a very bad attitude and always looks mad. The shuttle takes 30 min instead of the supposedly 5 min but the driver is very nice and does not blast very loud rap music driving through south Hampton.
If only the walls could talk... I have learnt I prefer it when the walls don’t talk at 3am...Although the hotel has lots of positive points, including proximity to the town, wouldn’t recommend it if you enjoy sleep. I awoke at one point wondering how I had unwittingly been transported to Cape Canaveral until realising it was the air conditioning doing its own interpretation of Apollo 13.On the adjoining launchpad/room, were an an enamorous couple. I wish I did not know they were enamorous. I will leave it there.
This was our first time staying here at the Southampton Inn. They have excellent service and it is extremely clean. There is pleanty to do, if you want to relax and read a book in the lobby, or play a board game in the lobby, which is beautiful, or go for a swim in their pool, play ping pong, play shuffle board or even have a bean bag toss. They have a shuttle that comes every five time minutes and will run you to Cooper’s beach in five minutes. There is pleanty to do here no matter how long you stay for. The staff here is super accomidating and pleasant as well.
We had a corporate development all-day meeting in one of their spacious and comfortable conference rooms. They provided coffee/tea/breakfast setup and a lunch later in the day. Everything was ready when we got there, the food and service were great. We will definitely be using Southampton Inn for other events.
Well maintained, but building is more motel style. Nice beds and very clean room, but underlying building is basic (i.e. thin walls so easy to hear when neighbors come and go). Shuttle available to beach, and does have lots of games/activities onsite such as playroom, swimming pool, shuffle board, bicycles. Dont come expecting a 5-star experience. I will likely return at some point given limited options nearby.
The Southampton inn is a luxurious motor hotel near the center of Southampton. While pricey it is affordable by Hamptons standards. Overall this is a refined room with beautiful carpets, comfortable beds and plenty of space but none of that matters if you stay on the parking lot side. If you dont stay on the west side if the motel youll be awoken by the sunrise because the rooms are currently lacking curtains. Make sure you request a different room if they havent replaced the curtains when you check in.
Staff and service was excellent. Unfortunately the facility although relatively clean the facility was well worn. Outlets not functional. Electric wall switches not working. Spartan furnishing. No in room coffee. For 475 dollars it is exorbitant. WDW can be had for less and much more amenities.
A delightful and quaint place to spend a few days away from the city. The staff are kind, professional and the landscape is one to be treasured. The property has amenities that will suit any taste. My most significant focus is the breathtaking surroundings that allow me to negate NYC noise.... Thank you all!
Nice hotel for the hamptons; but dont get a room on the first floor; you can literally hear the footsteps of the people in the room above. I dont know why they dont fix this problem. Otherwise, nice hotel, good location, clean. Also, wish they served complimentary coffee in lobby in the morning; it would be nice.
Just off Hill Street, around the corner from the Southampton Theatre is Claudes at the Southampton Inn. This is a great find and a delightful experience whether you join them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Breakfast served on the outdoor terrace is exceptionally pleasant. The menu offers traditional favorites, and I have enjoyed their Sausage Biscuits and Gravy, Steak and Eggs and Quiche the most while my husband always enjoys Eggs Benedict. For lunch, my suggestion is sitting up by the pool bar and select something from their All Day Dining Menu. Whether you are in the mood for just soup and salad orca club sandwich, there are plenty of items to satisfy your appetite. And you can also to get a day pass and enjoy both their beautiful pool and tennis facilities. On my recent visit, we opted for dinner in the main dining room. The decor is comfortably contemporary and done in soft blues and grays that give it a coastal feel. We chose to start with a charcuterie board. It has a nice variety of cheeses, fig spread, tapenade, and crackers. When it arrived, we both remarked, We will never finish all of this. But we did! For dinner, I enjoyed the marinated hanger steak, and my husband chose the Pineapple Glazed Salmon. Both entrees were exceptional included our potatoes and grilled zucchini. Rainbow Micro Greens topped off our dishes adding an excellent layer of flavors. Truly a lovely meal in a delightful setting to enjoy any day or night of the year. And they have weekend events by the pool area and live music on Thursdays. Do check their website and come on over!
Oh my gosh, what a great time I have had this weekend at the Southhampton Inn!! Everyone has been so sweet to me and my little Yorkiepoo Puccini!! Our housekeeper was so kind and loved my little dog. I had dinner at Clauds the first night and it was wonderful!! My breakfast the next day was also perfect!! Not enough adjectives for our stay here!!
Worse quality for money I ever received. They should rather call themselves a motel. Rude people work here. Everybody starting with front desk and ending by cleaning service. Rude and pushy. The check out was at 11 am and at 10 am employees were picking at my window and forcing me to move out. When I told the front desk about this ridiculous behavior of employees - they smiled. And thats it, even didnt apologize.
Dinner in the basement? (Claudes) Food not withstanding, the ambiance is severely lacking. While my entree was well prepared, the mussels in the appetizer were inferior - small with little inside the shell. The wine list is just ok, but they didnt have the Meomi we wanted. Service was fine.
This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. The receptionist was very rude, and the steak i ordered at the restaurant was overcooked and bland. I am transgender and the waiter laughed at me when i spoke and asked me what my real name was, when i reported this they said ill look into it and shooed me away. This homophobic establishment is disgusting
The hotel is very close to Southampton Center and you will not need a car. The beach is about 20 minutes walking from the beach. The hotel has very spacious rooms and parking is free. If you have dogs you can stay in one of the rooms reserved for people with animals. We have found the hotel very nice and of great quality. We will come back.

2022-03-14A decent hotel for the price in Mid February. Rooms are very clean, the heater keeps the room nice and toasty. The best part is they allow dogs with a pet fee. Bright spacious rooms. Bonus of having a couch at the foot of the bed for tv watching. On the surface everything is perfect, but there’s tiny things that can be touched up like the shower rack that was rusty, and the winter dust that covers the ice and vending machines that keep the place in the middle tier of hotels.

2022-05-02We really enjoyed our stay at the Southampton inn! The rooms were very well kept and clean, the review photos don’t do it justice. The only thing was there was a large amount of bumble bees/bees outside of the doors who made it hard to get in and out. There is a sweet black and white cat that stays by the front office who greeted us. Overall it’s very close to the village and the beach, you can walk to almost everything. I would recommend staying!

2022-04-19Very clean, friendly staff, we were able to check in before 4 pm when we arrived. The grounds are peaceful and they have games and a pool for when it’s warmer out. It is within walking distance of shopping and restaurants which was great. Prices are really good during the off season.

2021-08-21Clean decent place within walking distance of the town of southampton. Which is good except the town lacked really anything to do and the restaurant menus were uninspired and pricey. We stayed there because we were visiting a friend who didnt have room in the house. Not sure why anyone else would stay there except if you want to go to the beach, however that is a shuttle ride away (free of charge]. Room was clean and staff was nice and attentive and the pool served its purpose

2021-10-24I reserved a room with two beds over the phone with a very nice gentleman, but when we arrived we were given a room with only one bed for three people. We were given no other options just told sorry. They even went as far as to insinuate it was a mistake on my end. The room and hotel in our opinion was no better than a motel which was disappointing as well for the price. We will not be returning.

2021-04-07South Hampton Inn is an amazing quiet place to get away.Clean and sanitary. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. Extremely hospitable. They actually called the room for my wakeup call and not just an automated system.I was there with a group. They did not pressure me to be out of the room by check out. They even let me take a box of tissues with me.For a bonus- they are pet friendly and they even have a cat for a front desk agent. That I saw greet kids as they walked. For a double bonus- they have bedside reading bags for you today with books that you can read. Which I think is an amazing idea. The only thing I would recommend is be sure to wear walking sneakers as everything is through the main doors by the desk. All the rooms are outside.

2021-03-15The location and room was excellent. However, if you have a room on the 2nd floor, there is no elevator and the stairs are a challenge for a senior with a bag (or 2) - dont try 2, bad result. The bathroom were updated and terrific, but the tub was so slick that my wife fell and I had to help her up. It could have been a problem; fortunately, it was not. We solved the problem by placing a hand towel in the bathtub, so we could safely take a shower. A simple tub/shower mat will fix that. I shared the above with the hotel on checkout, so I presume that these issues will be addressed. FYI - my wife and I are in our early 70s and in good shape, but this was a challenge for us. Breakfast was excellent and the portions were very generous. We will return with a request for a first floor room! FYI - Jobs Lane Cafe on the corner of Jobs and Windmill was great!

2021-04-02Great getaway! The inn and rooms are decorated in a beach style and very clean. My only wish is that they had a small fitness center.John at the Front Desk is very nice. He remembered us immediately when I called, which got us excited about coming again!

2021-03-02Ive been to the Southampton Inn 3 times. The rooms are really cute and simple. They have a cute cat that walks around the lobby of the Inn. The restaurant in Southampton Inn is so convenient and the food and drinks are tasty. I will for sure be coming back in the near future.
