DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Went to this place today for a full body massage. We paid for a Swedish massage and got deep tissue! I told the lady multiple times not to apply too much pressure but I don’t think she understood (everything hurts and even have bruises). I have knee problems and told her before she started the massage, and didn’t care, didn’t understand or god knows why but she started massaging the knee and I told her again not to touch the knee and she did it over and over again. It was not relaxing at all!On top of everything, she had a bad cough and kept coughing and coughing until she finally went outside, 10 mins later she came back and she finished at the same time the other person I was with which means I didn’t get a full hour massage.I would NOT recommend this place! Very unprofessional, they just take your money and do whatever they want not what you pay for. NEVER GOING BACK!
Facials are my thing, Ive been all over long island having them done...I had Sophia and she gave the best facial I ever had...truly the best!I have read the reviews and cannot disagree .ore with the ones that talk about odor, it was clean and a very nice looking salon.I did read a review about noise outside the room & yes there was, probably a client coming in and bearing a friendly hello.I cant wait to go back again.P.S. My friend Tony is going to be 75 on the 11th of this month, guess what...he will get a gift certificate from Spa 505 from me.
My partner and I just had an amazing massage! Everyone is right no bells and whistles but honestly who needs that when you walk out of there feeling amazing. Staff is welcoming and caters to Allergies! The prices are amazing too. We are already planning on going back next month and talking about attending ladies night. Everyone should try this establishment. We are going to recommend them for sure..
AMAZING! Best massage ever I came in limping from knee n back pain m left amazing feeling they are sweet kind and appointment wait was less then one minute!!! The guy I had was amazing we did a couples massage caring understanding!! I would refer them to anyone their prices are wonderful! Great massage!
If I can give this place a 0 I would have done so. I went to this place with my husband for a couple massage. The lady told me that there was no body to do the massage and explained to her that I didnt live close. She never let me finish treat me really rude and like she didnt care my business. I told her that I made my appointment a week ago with someone that didnt even understand me. Because I didnt think the lady on the phone understood me I call the day before to confirm my appointment. He told me my appointment was at 3:30, when I got there she said that my appointment was at 1:00 I told her that the guy i spoke the day before didnt tell me that time. When she kept lifting her hand to stop me from talking. Very unprofessional and nasty. Please dont go to a place where they dont treat you like your are a valuable customer. Never in my life going there and if you are smart please dont give business to people like this.
I originally found 505 through groupon.....I bought the three pack...with no expectations....I have been going to various massage therapist for over thirty years and have been serviced by some of the best. I took my son with me for our first visit. Back parking lot, bland interior but I was open to what my be and believe me I am happy I did not prejudge . My son had Jimmy and I who had many complaints about my body received Anne( one of the managers) and another woman. ( I did explain to them my prior experiences and my needs and said it might take more than one person). I like a deep tissue massage....if it does not get deep and relive my knots, does not make sense to me. So a bit of pain is involved.....both woman were always aware of my discomfort and would ask if I wanted them to be more gentle....no, get to the core of the problem and they did. Jimmy worked on my son....my son is all muscle and like me was a bundle of knots....Jimmy was a consummate professional...we asked about his schooling and was more than pleased with his credentials. He worked for two hours on my son....by the way, we asked for that amount of time.I have been back with my son maybe 40 times now....I believe in taking care of my body and massage is part of my ritual, at least once a week. I do not go to any other place now....I am welcomed like family and they know what I need. Buy the three hour pack, ( you use it at an hour at a time) save a lot of money.By the way, they are all consummate professionals who ask you what your comfort level is....so please tell them what you expect and it will be a great experience.Charles Roocke
Jut left. Got a 30 min reflexology and 60 min body massage. Not amazed, although she was very thorough. I have been in spas similar to this one, and they are not luxurious which is OK with me, however, when you go to get a massage you expect silence. I could hear everyone talking and even the person who was working with me was talking very loud.Her phone rang in the middle of the session, she answered and put the speaker on to talk with the person, not a long conversation but wth? Also the towel they use to clean off the oil was semi hot and I could feel my skin burning a little bit!!I paid with a gift card ($75), the price was $70. I asked her to apply the 5$ left towards the tip and then gave her 10$ more Cash, for a $15 total =20% she was texting, got the bill and laughed and said 10 bucks? And left me there... Great experience...
I couldnt believe the experience I had here. I called after I found a deal on LIvingSocial. The deal was for a $60 deep tissue massage but there was a limited time additional 8 dollars off on the site. I called before purchasing to see if they could take me and my mother later that day and mentioned the deal. Anne said that I could pay the Livingsocial price at the location at the time of my appointment. My mother and I drove an hour to get there and when I got there the woman at the front desk had no idea what LIvingsocial deal I was talking about and so I showed her. She proceeds to call Anne at the other store location down the street who says the deal is for $60 even though Im showing her the special offer. The woman tells me the prices are higher at this new location because of the grand opening and I have the option to go to the other location, to which Anne who is still on the phone says no I dont want them here. So I agree to pay the $60 despite having the option to purchase the deal on my phone. After I agree to $60, she says its $60 if I pay with cash. Which made absolutely no sense. So my mother and I decided to leave, at which point she says you can pay with card if you show me that you have cash for gratuity. I could not believe it. This was the grand opening and this is how they treated customers.
I never write reviews but What I experienced was absolutely ridiculous.. myself and 4 other people all walked in at the same time all for 12pm appointments. The workers behind the desk had no clue what was going and had no idea about any of the appointments. There were only two workers in the store for some reason I couldn’t understand. There was a huge language barrier. Needless to say two people were told to go down the block to what I assume is a sister shop, two people were taken in and I was left. I got turned away despite having an appointment. I had called in earlier in the week to make the appointment but I guess appointments don’t matter. Beyond aggravating
If I could give 0 stars I would. I bought a Groupon for this place.I walked in and the guy at the desk, who I assume is the owner, first tried to argue that I made a same day appointment and couldnt use my Groupon though I made the appointment a week in advance.THEN the man proceeded to tell me that I owed tax which he pointed out in the fine print. Okay as annoying as it is, I took out my credit card and tried to pay. He then proceeded to tell me he couldnt accept my credit card. I explained that then they should have explained that when booking over the phone on top of the fact its illegal to have a credit card minimum. The guy then proceeded to give me my card back and tell me to leave and he didnt need my business!! I was being nice just pointing out that it was unfair to not inform when booking an appointment. I left stating I was going to request a refund.Knowing I already showed him the groupon, I called the Groupon 800 number from the parking lot. While on the phone with the nice lady at Groupon she informed me he already redeemed my Groupon though not giving me any service. Customer service rectified my account for me. As she was finalizing my refund, he proceeds to continuously knock on my window and harass me in my car. After politely asking him to stop he continued. At this point I felt very nervous as I was in parking lot alone. I explained to him I would call the police if he didnt stop and leave me alone. He proceeded to threaten that if I called the police he would tell them that I punched his wall; which did not happen. He finally went inside and I finished my phone call with Groupon, who was on the line the whole time, and I left.Its beyond comprehension that someone like this is in business. I dont to see anyone else ever go through what I did.
Very professional and Well experienced. I had been suffering from neck sprain since longtime. I told therapist the same thing. She focused more on that. It’s gone. Nana has done a great job. And I am sure that I will be back soon. Thank you Nana for awesome work. I really appreciate it.
Went in there with a Groupon and appointment when I arrived merchant offered the massage right away for cash and wouldnt accept our Groupon employees called boss who would refuse to understand that I have an appointment and Groupon but would understand pay cash and massage avoid them
I twisted my neck badly about 2 weeks ago, and I was in a LOT of pain. It got worse and worse that I couldnt turn my head or lift my arms. I am glad that I found spa 505. Besides exceptional skills, Jim also has great knowledge about anatomy and muscles. He didnt just follow the routine, but he found the root problem, work on those muscles and trigger points, he even stretched the myofascia! I came out feeling relax and rejuvenate; and most importantly, now I am able to turn my head, lift my arms WITHOUT PAIN! THANK YOU SPA 505, I will definitely come back!!Ps. also found out that Jim graduated from Swedish Institute, he is a licensed massage therapist and a member of American Massage Therapy Association. No wonder he is so good!
Ive personally worked close with masseur and masseuse, during my professional life.. Ive tried several massage parlours nationally and internationally..This place initially gave me a low standard feel with their normal design, aura, the colours used etc...I took my friend along with me and after the massage.. I was truly feeling great.. I asked my friend and we both shared the same feel.. We have booked them for next month.. Purely professional.. Love this place..
Brought it on Groupon for 92 and when I got there they charged my card for 132 without even telling me 10 dollar tip for each person that got a massage and one lady was really rude trying to charge me more and walking away with my card without even knowing the whole place was shady
I WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND THIS BUSINESS. I BOUGHT A GROUPON AND CALLED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR COUPLES MASSAGE. THE WOMAN ON THE PHONE NEVER EVEN ASKED MY NAME OR # I HAD TO ASK DO YOU WANT MY INFO SO SHE TOOK MY PTN.....GO THERE THE FOLLOWING WEEK THE MAN AT THE FRONT DESK COULDNT FIND MY APPOINTMENT IT APPEARS THE WOMAN WROTE DOWN MY NUMBER WITH THE 1ST 3 DIGITS OFF AND ONLY FOR A 1 PERSON MASSAGE. THE GUY AT THE DESK SAYS ITS NOT HER FAULT IT WAS MINE FOR GIVING WRONG INFO AND SAYS THERES NO WAY HE CAN SCHEDULE US A COUPLES MASSAGE AFTER WE HAD JUST DRIVEN 45 MINS THAT DAY. BESIDES THIS THE PLACE LOOKED DIRTY AND THERE WERE NO DOORS ON THE ROOMS JUST SHEETS. I GREW FRUSTRATED AS HE KEPT INSISTING IT WASNT THERE FAULT IT WAS MINE. SO I SAID FORGET IT ILL CALL GROUPON AND SHUT THE FRONT DOOR HARD HE CAME RUNNING OUT SAYING DONT YOU DARE SLAM MY DOOR. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS YELLS AT THERE CUSTOMERS AND DOESNT ADMIT THERE MISTAKE INSTEAD TRYING TO BLAME YOU. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

2022-02-13We took the freshen spa package which consisted of 30min body scrub, 30min full body massage and 30 mins express facial. Good service, all technicians are skillful. The facial did not have the steam and exfoliation step. My technician was also too vigorous and it was painful for me. The face massage was too harsh. She also gave me a dry head massage but ended up pulling at my hair and when I asked her to be gentle, she just walked away. I dont think she understood what I said. Same with the body massage. She only massaged the top half, not the legs. Again very vigorous and not soothing. Overall experience was good. I wish they would customize the amount of pressure they use for each customer based on their needs.

2022-03-29Great massage, especially when you find someone you like. I always leave feeling relaxed. You might have to go through a few people before you find the right match (I like a strong massage) but it’s worth it. Pretty affordable prices and the staff are very friendly. I’m usually able to make an appointment the day of or for the next day if they’re busy. Tipping goes a long way!

2021-04-17We booked and scheduled a couples massage a week early using Groupon it was for our anniversary a nice massage before our dinner date, they called 1 hour before our scheduled time to bump us back because walk in customers who they charge full price was a priority over our reserved time because we used Groupon! Of course we couldnt accept the time bump from 3pm to the later time of 6:30 because of our dinner reservation. This is poor business in my opinion, why book a time though Groupon if you are not going to honor it! I dont recommend this place to anyone because that is not how you run a respectable business!

2021-03-28This place is HORRIBLE! We showed up early for a couple massage thinking we had to fill out paperwork, which no one ever gave us! The lady kept asking us to pay $120, we showed her that it had already been paid on Groupon and that we called to book the appt for a couples massage. The lady brought us in the back and asked us to undress & m me wait. When she came back she put hot stones on my boyfriend that we did not order, and proceeded to give only me a massage. After 30 minutes of laying there with cold stones on his back, my boyfriend tried to remind her that it was a couples massage. To which she kept repeating “2 minutes” After finally being feed up and her having a huge language deficiency, we left.

2020-09-06They refused to accept the Groupon even though I had already purchased 2 , 60 min massages. They would not even honor the price.... they do not follow covid guidelines at all , they do not take your temperature, not even a sanitizer in sight. My masseuse kept leaving the room everytime a customer came in, her hands smelt awful as well. Just an awful experience all around and will DEFINITELY not be returning. They should also take these ads off Groupon if they’re not willing to accept the vouchers.

2020-03-14TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I had used a groupon voucher as a gift and had a horrible experience. She couldn’t understand what I was trying to say while I was getting my massage. UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE!!!!!! I offered her a tip and she didn’t say anything then later she asked for a tip so I told her I had cash in my car. She then followed me all the way to my car to the driver side! Immediately I felt Violated and gave her $5 to go away. Never again!!! Don’t waste your money here

2016-03-05I received a gift certificate from my girlfriend for Spa 505 and I took my mom. At first we were skeptical pulling into the parking lot because we never had a body massage. Walking into the spa, the therapists were very gentle and kind. They did such an amazing job at setting the mood and keeping us calm and happy. We didnt want to leave and we plan on making another appointment. You will definitely love this place wanting to go back the next day. Love them. Best first experience with a full body massage.

2018-08-22Ive been to this spa about 5-6 times. The massage therapists are all excellent! Their prices are extremely fair (they run great ads on Groupon), the staff is friendly and accommodating. I was there about 2 weeks ago with a significant amount of back pain and she spent extra time on that area and I left feeling much better. I highly recommend the one hour massage and 30 minute foot massage. I would definitely recommend Spa 505.

2021-01-18I made an appointment and they had no idea. When I showed my appointment I was not accommodated. They only have 1 person doing massages. When I asked for a refund the woman there didnt understand and gave me a card to contact the boss. Horrible!
