Definitely a mixed bag. Went to this place early on Saturday evening. It was early enough that we were able to get a table right away. The tables are arranged to minimize getting in other tables way, though it still happened occasionally. The staff was helpful and polite. Unfortunately, our table was also near the bathroom, so as it got a little later and busier, a line started to form. This was when people waiting for the bathroom started piling up where we were trying to play, and getting in our way. Then there was the food. It took over an hour to come, which was annoying, because tables are by-the-hour. We were able to get them to let us pay and play for just a half-hour longer so we had time to eat it, but it was still annoying that theres no way to get the food to come in your first hour. To make matters worse, the food was cold when it came. It had clearly been ready quite some time ago. We learned that this happens sometimes because the kitchen is TWO BLOCKS AWAY. The food was actually delicious. If they could get a kitchen in the building this place would be so much better.
It was great that we can play biliards in ktown, but I had some uncomfortable experience last time. The waiter, Gun, was literally rude at me. We made a reservation, but it didnt work because of the communication issue. Its totally okay with it, but his attitude was not kind at all, which is the problem for us.
Food is priced completely out of whack. I understand bar food is expensive but I paid 10$ for a quarter bag of chips.Alright that’s not the important part. They kicked us out early from pool. They lied to us and said we need to leave way before our hour was up, and argued with us about this. Very unprofessional. Very uncourteous to paying customers. For 35$ a pool game totaling to 100$ an hour (with drinks and food for drinks) this place is a scam.If you need to play pool, you can sink some snookers here. But avoid otherwise.
Decent place to kick it with friends to play some pool and have a couple of drinks. It is a bit pricey but that’s just how it is in the city. The tables are clean and the snooker cues are in respectable conditions. The place itself is clean and the staff are really helpful and nice.
This place has around a dozen tables. They hold your credit card on entry and the table is $24 per hour. They have table service with a buzzer at arch table to call for service. The tables, balls and cues are decent. They have two single toilets. The selection of drinks is limited but ok. When we were there (a Monday evening) they were not a full capacity so we got a table straight away.
So much fun here! the price is extremely fair for your own table and the bartender (weekends) is so sweet and nice 🥰😊as well as the other staff such as the gentleman taking ID’s at the door. good music too. strong drinks. haven’t tried the food yet but smells good! 100% coming back soon!
We all got stuck in the elevator during the night when we were coming home... The employee said this was common and we ended up calling the fire department to eventually get help... The employees were not helpful during the process.. they just said this was common when drunk people jump. They also discouraged us from calling the police b/c it would cost $100. This was rather disappointing especially after they told us it was $65 for a pool table for an hour... I would not recommend.
$75 for one hour on a pool table and the drinks are not good. Definitely not worth it at all. Not to mention, the bartender is rude. He takes forever, serves other customers before you (even after you were there first) and doesnt seem like he can multi task at all.Overall a terrible experience. Go somewhere else if you want to have a good night.
Drinks were GREAT! I waited over 30 minutes for my food and watching everyone else get their food (which was mine and my friends) but the guy was kind and gave us free shots even tho the man who took our order told us the food would come in 10 minutes and they had cheese even though they had no cheese. May seem childish but we needed to catch a train and the food didn’t come out even though we were told it was coming over 4 times by the staff
If you like to have fun you will like SPIN and if you time your visit right you can get a smoking deal. $9 for all-day play on Sundays and good happy hour drink prices. They serve food too and its fun to just hang out on the comfy seating between games. Very spacious and beautifully designed. They have friendly leagues if that is your thing or just enjoy for a date or a night out with friends.
I use to frequent this place pre-pandemic. Went today and was very disappointed with the service. Had the bartender and manager Gun who provided very poor customer service with a condescending nonchalant attitude. Refused to accommodate small things like a 3rd song on the playlist even though we were the only patrons present. Also refused to allow us to play darts claiming it wasn’t allowed on a weekday. Not sure if the establishment has gone down the tubes or if “Gun” was the problem.
Good place to hang up!$45 per 1 hour 4 people. Minimun 1 drink per person, at leat $15 each. Prices are not worth what it is inside, but I guess is because of the location! I mean is in the city, everything is expensive there LOLIt is good tho, I would go back in the future!
Overpriced pool tableAnd server kept telling up it mandatory 1 drink per personI told him we just here for poolAlready ate and we don’t drink 0.0He eventually was like it said it there on entrance and I kindly asked him to show me and he paused and said let me talk to my manger aka I was lying to youEventually he left us alone after the gameThey squeeze out every penny they can and gave themselves a $10 tip for doing absolutely nothing and charging us Tax?? On a pool game hahaDef will not be coming back hereWe are just trying to play some pool and service should be optional but maybe that just me
Cool vibes, average price for the city. Wasnt very packed when I went and food service was fast.I definitely recommend their soju! Their mango one was delicious.Overall a great time...they would intermittently come to clean our plates and drinks from our pool area. The waiter did try to take my half full bottle of beer...luckily I managed to save it!
I had called this place on Saturday, 04/10/21 and asked them what their hours of operation was, as I wasnt sure if Google was updated with an accurate time. The employee that I spoke with said 4am and that the pool table was $35 per hour. I arrived there around 10:45 and the guy at the door rudely said that the place was closed. Wouldnt have driven there if that was the case.
I have never been to the karaoke bar so cant comment on that. But I actually really like the top floor pool bar. They have a decent number of tables available but it gets busy so be prepared to pull up a chair at the bar and wait.Staff are not the most helpful but there is nothing to complain about.
Best time to go is during happy hr for the special price on pool tables! Went on a Friday and surprisingly wasnt at all crowded during this time, which I enjoyed - it was almost like having the place to yourself! By 8-9pm thats when it picks up, more people, louder music, very good vibe/music (90s, 2000s, todays top 40, hip hop, pop, r&b). Drink menu has tons of options so if youre like me and never know what you want, its good to take a peek at it!
I mean the place was nice enough, but its a decent amount of money per hour ($25 when I went) and it was super loud. I get thats some peoples cup of tea, but not typically an environment I want to play a game like pool that requires concentration. Probably great for a younger crowd who want something to do while drinking, and larger groups wouldnt be too bad for the price per hour.
The music was good the place was clean. At the time we arrived on a Friday it was not crowded. Around 6pm we got a table and played a few games left around 7:30. The place at this point was start to see more traffi . However the service and pricing was decent. I personally had a good time and see myself returning. However the one thing missing were the bites/appetizers. Maybe I missed something or just didnt ask.
This is the most disrespectful place I have experienced in my time here in NYC. If I could give it zero stars I would.First off the place is nice. There are many pool tables and a lot of space, however the service is very bad. After purchasing my pool table ($30/hr) my friends and I waited over 30mins to find the waiter to order drinks. During this time, I was standing at a table near my pool table looking at the menu. I picked up my phone to look at something and sat the menus on the table. The waiter came over and took the menus without asking me for my order. I had to stop him to let him know I’m wanted to place an order. After stopping him, he put his finger up and said he will be back to take my order. I waited another 15-20mins for him to come back to take my order. After experiencing this, I decided to be very observant. I noticed that the waiter was very attentive to people who was non-Black. Most of the customers were white or Asian. On top of the bad service, they automatically charger 18% gratuity. If you are a person of color I would not recommend this place nor will I ever go back!
I spotted this cool looking place and popped in for a quick drink.Awesome place to hang out with friends for evening drink and play pool. The food was excellent along with a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and service was very efficient. I wanted to ensure that my cocktails were good. The clientele is more hipster than flapper and the music more 2017’s than 2010’s but the ice comes in chunks and the creative Soju flavor cocktails they serve are tops around K-town.Social and energetic, great place to hang our, Highly recommended.!! :)
I really love this place for the environment, good tables and fast service. The one star review is for an experience Ive been having recently.Seems too consistent to be a coincidence but if I bring any of my non-white non-asian friends, there always seems to be some reason as to why we cant get a table.Example 1: On occasion my girlfriend and I go here and she doesnt have an ID because shes not a US native and also Asian, if were alone then she shows a picture of her ID and theres absolutely no issue. (Its risky carrying a passport with you everywhere.) Meanwhile if I bring a darker skinned individual with us her ID is always an issue.Example 2: We have played pool there on weekdays and they never ask us to buy drinks if its off hours like early evening on a Tuesday. With some of my darker skinned friends there seems to always be a 2 drink minimum for all 5 of us on Tuesday nights.Bottom line, maybe this is all one coincidence but its become too blatant and disrespectful for me to go back here. Really disappointing because I like going here but its no longer a business Im interested in supporting.Extra: I dont know if theyve taken it down, but there used to be a sign that says “no do-rags, no baggy clothes, no sagging pants.” Super interesting when you put it all together.
Visited billiards hall in the day and that was great, good quality tables and excellent service. Went to the karaoke bar later that day and whilst the atmosphere was cool, the service was painfully slow. We sat at the main bar and waited 30 minutes to get served and it wasnt even busy!
Loved everything about this place! The staffs looked professional, confident, and positive. I ordered a lychee soju and space margarita, both drinks were fantastic. If youre looking for some good drinks and shooting pool at a reasonable price, this is the place! Id love to come again :)
Ive enjoyed playing here before but after last nights experience i dont plan on going back for a long time. When I initially arrived all of the tables were full so I was put on the waiting list with only 2 people ahead of me. After 45 minutes of waiting I was next up in line but one of the workers let me know that since a VIP member just arrived he would go before me and I would have to wait even longer for a table even though I was next up in line. At that point I decided to leave. No use being on a waiting list if VIP people can just jump in line ahead of you. Also this happened on a Thursday night around 7pm if you want to know what time to avoid going.
I saw the reviews that were mostly positive so i and my friends decided to go shoot some pool on Friday night. It was pretty busy around 10 pm, had to wait little to get the pool table. Meanwhile, the bartender gave us free shots saying that he is sorry for the lateness of the pool table. I felt very appreciated so gave him good tips. I guess his name was Alex. After we got the table we spent good time shooting pool, also the table was clean. Going to come back this place!! Good place for drink and pool.
I went to this pool hall because I saw that the reviews were mostly positive. I was having a good time until I decided to pay my bill and leave the bar. It was pouring rain so I decided to go back to the bar and use the bathroom, the bouncer acted like an incompetent. He asked me if I had lost something because I was back at the bar and I told him no, that I had returned to use the bathroom and to wait for my taxi but he didnt want me to be in the bar. He told me that his supervisor didnt care the amount of money I had wasted in the bar before, that I shouldnt be in the premises. I ended up having to leave and wait for my taxi downstairs. I will not be going to this pool hall again and I dont recommend other people to go there. They do not know how to deal with customers and it is obvious that if you are not spending money you cant be there. Felt completely disrespect because the bouncer had the audacity to tell me that he was having a good night and that I was ruining it for him. Not cool!
Very disappointed. Went online and saw they closed at 5:00am. Got there at 3:25 and was told they closed at 4:00, by elevator attendant and security. No problem, still shoulda got 30 minutes on a table, then told by bartender they are closing at 3:30 cause it’s slow. Their was about 20 people still in the location and hanging out. We left before they made us and it was around 3:50am. Could have easily got a few racks in and a few cocktails. Probably won’t go back.
A good place to play pool and hang with friends. It’s kind of annoying to get in and out since there is only one elevator to access. It also felt a little claustrophobic since there are no windows and the ventilation could have been better. They have free popcorn which is nice.
Poor service, money hungry. Waited over 15 mins for a drink at the bar, forced to pay 15% gratituty but we had to walk for be bar to order drinks while playing pool; the best the service was when they provided the bill, of course. They were quick to let us know the prices and rates but the service was subpar. Its nice they are open late and the location is convenient.
Seems to be a quite popular place. But the system is quite old, which only supports list of songs in a single language. That means you can only sing the English or Spanish songs all night long. And to pick songs in languages other than these two, they need to reboot and switch the entire system. I was told such switching will take at least 5 minutes. So take that into consideration.
Not gonna lie, Im pretty mad about this place. Me and some friends took a spontaneous day to NYC to spend a couple hours, however my husband forgot his wallet at home. We found this place and thought it looked cool. We werent sure if we should plan on going because my husband didnt have his I.D.. So I called Space Billiards to ask if they I.D. at entry or just at the bar. I got hung up on the first time, so I called back. I asked, Do you need an I.D. just to get in, or just to get drinks at the bar? They told me No I.D. to get in, only at the bar. So me and my friends decided to get a hotel room so we could go to Space Billiards at night. We get there, and as soon as we get out of the elevator, they ask for I.D.s.... I told them I called and they said you dont need I.D.s to just get in? All I got in response was No we need an I.D. Needless to say, I was very angry that we wasted our time and money(on the hotel) only to be left high and dry; no Im sorry, or trying to find out who lied to a customer. So 1 star is all I can give, since this was the only poor first impression I have from Space Billiards.
The worst place ive been to periodWent there last sunday for my birthday with 3 other people, played pool less then an hour and 30 minutes, we had 2 beers 4 gin tonic and 2 orange juice. Payed total with pool and everything 260$. Oh and we had fried calamari with salad which we were supposed to eat the salad with fingers, this is what i was told from the waiter there that i never saw him but when he took the money. Crapy service, crapy food, pool tables falling apart, expensive as it gets. Would not recommend anyone to go there anytime soon or ever.
A good place to play pool and hang with friends. It’s kind of annoying to get in and out since there is only one elevator to access. It also felt a little claustrophobic since there are no windows and the ventilation could have been better. They have free popcorn which is nice.

2022-03-07Was hanging out with The Crew celebrating my birthday weekend. My cousin suggested this place. It was late at night and the place was busy (multiple clubs and other facilities there). Has a good chat with the Bouncer/security. When we got there, place looked busy with all the people waiting to play or just chilling at bar. When we got to a table, we were told we must order drinks (1 drink per person. The inside was nice and we had fun playing. Just again: be mindful of time as it WILL be crowded due to other people hanging out. It was fun. Wouldnt mind trying them again

2021-08-18FUN PLACE but with unnecessarily high prices. 1 hour of pool a few drinks and some food was $160 *after $27 tip* FOR JUST 2 PEOPLE. The charge also wasnt itemized so I couldnt be sure we got the Happy Hour price even tho we were there at 5:30/6 and doing the math even if we didnt get the Happy Hour prices it was a random extra $9 bucks I couldnt figure out for the life of me. The music was great the food was delicious . The drinks were so-so ( room temp beer) Just be sure youre getting what you pay for and youll have a good time. I didnt want to debate over the prices because I know with pandemic places are struggling but I also dont think anyone should be getting ripped off. So just be aware.

2022-04-11Great pool place. I spend my bday here and definitely will be back. Its a busy place so try to get reservations. The staff is great and so was the food ! I tried the sampler so we tried a few things. You have to take the elevator to the 12th floor. Just so theres no confusion.

2022-02-27A must go. Its located in Korean Town, in a office building. On other floors there are 4 karaoke bars as well. So you can play pool and then go sing your heart out. This place was clean and very well organized. Everyone was polite and young. The music was great and it wasnt crowded. Drink were a tad bit expensive, but thats NY for you. Well worth a visit, date night, friends night or just chilling alone its worth a visit.

2021-09-19This place was pretty cool and Im glad we got to play billiards. The problem though was the sketchy requirement to order some food during our time at the table after ordering multiple drinks at the bar and being given popcorn by the bartender. The host said we had to order some food, even though it wasnt written anywhere. He tried to say it was due to COVID, but if thats the case, have the bartender say something. In the end we didnt order food after being bothered a couple of times. We both just had dinner earlier and so we were full and there was nothing written requiring us to pay for food. If you guys want to get more money from your patrons, write it down beforehand and let your patrons know before they put their name down and wait. They ended up charging us 20% gratuity on the drinks (was gonna tip anyways) but also the $30/hr pool. We paid our bill and left, but was definitely feeling taken advantage of for such a cool place.

2022-03-05Right when we entered, we felt a good vibe, nice place, not so loud music like some other billiards, clean tables. But wait, not everything can be right; we had an hour.We ordered food, some apetizers around 45 minutes before our hour, thinking it would be here max in 15 minutes, and we will still have 30 minutes. Nope, it took them more than 45 minutes for the food to bring. So it was a bummer. Food was good, though. Then, when we were checking out, they charged us around $27 extra we noticed and talked to them; it took them so long to fix it.

2022-02-18Awesome spot! Came here after dinner and had a couple of beers and played some billiards! Convenient that they’re open late and have a variety of food and drinks! They even serve popcorn for you to nibble on as you play! There are bells on the wall of you need a server at your attention, tvs broadcasting the big game, and a variety of music playing! Great spot to hang out with friends and family!
