The guys handing out flyers outside are super aggressive and obnoxious. It makes me not want to go at all, it ruins the whole mood. I was waiting outside for my friends and they literally harass every SINGLE person walking by to come to their venue. Unfortunately, I had to go for a birthday and even the staff there was rude. I did not get a good vibe from this place. Will never be coming back. There’s so many better karaokes on that street and who aren’t so desperate for customers.
Great service and best atmosphere in Ktown! they have alternative choice of karaoke machine which supports various languages ( my coworkers loved it:3 )Ton of cocktails choice, great lights, LED, cute decoration, and the best DJ! they got everything. Ji and Leo were really kind and gave all the information we needed to know, also they informed gratuity is included in our final bills! i will gonna have my birthday party so i made reservation right away. so fun experiences!elevator was kinda annoyed but the people in first floor helped us a lot.
Recommend this spot for a small group but not with a large group. Ive been here with a small group of three and it was okay. But this past week booked this spot for 13 people for my birthday party. The room they gave us a triple banquet style room which felt cramped with little room to get up and sing or dance. There was nowehere to move. They probably shouldve kept capacity of that room to 10 max. Air conditioning was not working- mind you this is in April and it was 50 degrees- so i cant imagine how hot it would be during warmer weather. Last, their system sucks!- buggy and doesnt have basic american songs. Last , they nickel and dime you. For example we ordered two bottles ( over $500) and they only allow two mixers at a time. And last- they charge $28 for a small bottle of soju which is complete highway robbery. I wont be coming back here.
They charged us 700$ for less than an hour of singing and a bottle of greygoose and a lousy plate of fruit……lol….fruit. Customer service was absolutely horrible. They came into our room to check if more people came into our room than allowed. Tbh they seemed a little racist about it too. Then when it was time to leave she was hurrying us out of the room like we were a pack of animals rather than treating us like people. Of course we were nice to them throughout the entire visit but it really p*ssed us off in the end and we ended up complaining that they need better customer service to which the Korean lady reply “ok, now give me your debit or credit card”. Truly terrible experience here, all of us promised never to give our money to These people.
We rented a room out for a birthday. It did the job but used YouTube for karaoke. We were also rudely kicked out when our time was up. They need to buffer between groups. Also, we used the byob option and were still charged the automatic gratituity even though we didnt get any service (had to go to the bar for water, etc.). Just be aware of that when choosing byob.and getting your bill - it isnt part of the listed price.
Great location! The bar is nice, the staff is rude, $16 fries took 47 min to deliver “Cold” in an empty place! Not conform with the Covid mandate. Again great place but leadership can do better. And you don’t need 47 Min to deliver cold fries in a place with 13 people.
I went on a Saturday night to this place and it was packed full. There was not enough space to grab a drink at the bar but the drinks and the atmosphere was decent. I ordered a Korean scallion pancake and at least they have the restaurant called the Maze downstairs in the same building make it and bring it up. The food was not too bad and there were good, interesting people to talk to. If they paid more attention to customer service, it can be ranked much better.
You and your friends cannot sing to save your life? Well, go to Space Karaoke 😀. You are hosted in a very nice private room with two mics, decent sound system and a huge book full of the cheesiest songs ever. Yes, they have quite a catalog of songs for you to choose from. The place has a dance club feel to it with neon blue and purple lights bouncing all over its walls. They have bottle/drink service available; The host was quite attentive and nice with everything. The rates are fair I would say. Like weekdays its $30/hour for 4 guests. If you have more than 4, just add $5 per extra guests. The room rates goes up on the weekend though.Overall, I recommend it to anybody looking to have a fun night in the city.
Had a reservation this weekend for a birthday party, and I cant wait to come back here! Really fun atmosphere. Helpful and nice staff. We did the open bar package which had great value for its price; you get a wristband and just show it whenever you order at the bar. I also liked that they had Youtube available to play whatever song you want. Definitely recommend if you want to have a fun time with a group of friends.
It pains me to post a negative review of this fun spot, but I am amazed at how negative my experience was there last night. My group arrived at our reservation late because the only way to enter Space Karaoke is with the elevator. The stairs are inaccessible. One of the two elevators was broken. So during covid, dozens of people (not all of whom were masked) packed into the elevator lobby to catch the one working elevator . So many people packed into this elevator, in fact, that it briefly malfunctioned and would not rise at all. We waited twenty minutes for the elevator to take our group to Space Karaoke. When we left, we waited a half hour, again packed with other people into a small waiting area, for the elevator. Six elevators came and went completely full. We asked the workers if we could use the stairs to exit. We were told that they were blocked off. We inquired what we would do if there were a fire--stunned silence. Tremendously unsafe. And no one should have to wait a half hour in order to leave a bar. One group who waited with us to leave told me that they waited 20 minutes to get into the building for the elevator, were told that they could not do karaoke without a reservation, and then waiting a half hour to leave! Ridiculous! Karaoke is always fun. But this place is a mixed bag--some lovely staff members, some incredibly rude staff members. We wont be going back.
This place was very racist. If you’re a black individual I would not recommend this racist place. It’s very disappointing that individuals of Asian descent present these views towards black people as minority people. It’s disgusting! Black people and minorities stay clear.
Pretty bad experience on a Tuesday. When we got there they told us 20 minutes to get a karaoke room and + an hour later nothing. They basically ignored us the whole time and didn’t seem to care, I guess they have their reasons. We were visiting and hoping to have fun singing but it was extremely disappointing.
After much trail and error and patronizing a few karaoke spots in Ktown, I’ve come to realize that this is hands down the best karaoke spot in this area. Space Karaoke is leagues ahead of other karaoke spots with its modern technology. Bluetooth, different language music options, and the newly added YouTube feature! The staff is always courteous and accommodating even when we don’t have reservations. Eric, was one of the nicest servers that we had the pleasure of meeting upon our last visit. He was attentive, kind, and explained everything in great detail and even gave us drink recommendations when asked. Chris, the manager, made our very first experience a memorable one. He came in our karaoke room after we needed assistance. He was nice, friendly, funny, professional, and he sang to us!!! Space Karaoke makes it really hard for you to go anywhere else and they are almost always fully booked on weekends so definitely definitely make reservations. It’s worth the wait otherwise, and the drink packages are also worth it! I always look forward to spending my time and money at an establishment like this one. Thank you Chris and Eric, and other staff at Space Karaoke!
I came to this karaoke on weekends. I been to many karaoke. This karaoke. They have very modern system very nice private rooms. I like the vibe. But I go to this kind of place to have good time and Have a fun with my friends, but this worker keep coming into room and sing and ask to drink with us. We pay a lot of money for the time and drink with friends but i do not feel very comfortable. When it is private room
The best karaoke bar Ive been to in the U.S so far. Not only did they have a great selection of songs (even very new hits), they had a second console that was connected to YouTube where you could play karaoke off YT. Great service and decent value for the food+drink packages as well - had a fun night!
I was visiting from out of town when the bartender at Turntable recommended this place as a place to hang out where the locals go. Staff was good, drinks were good. From what I could tell, the main room you come in is really the only open area. Was a fun place to listen to some music, drink, and socialize.
Came before and had a wonderful experience. Came back this weekend and it was just awful. Waited in queue with other people who wanted to karaoke, but two girls who spoke Korean, walked in, spoke to a worker in Korean and allowed them to skip the queue. I may not look like it, but I speak and understand Korean too. The person allowed these girls to cut the wait, and when another worker asked what about them (the others waiting for a room), he said ignore it. Unfortunate too since I very much liked this place.
So glad you guys are back! Went this week with some friends and was a little nervous to go into a small room with people to scream at a piece of plastic for a few hours with corona going around but after scoping it out everything was great. Place is really clean and they have disposable microphone covers and a sanitation machine for the mics. We only planned to stop in for one hour but had so much fun we stayed for four hours. Thank you Chris for taking care of us!
It was the worst place I have ever visited. It was a lot of money for lousy service and some chicken, fries, and soda. They only served us drink the first time with ice, and the second time we had to call them for more ice and soda to bring us down the food. They only brought the soda, never the ice. They didnt give us napkins or forks either. A lot of money for a lousy service, I could have spent less in a better place, even to my boyfriend and friend they take more money than they supposed.
So I came here on Sunday to celebrate my bday and I just wanna say that was the most fun I’ve ever had !! Staff was very nice and friendly ! I got a private room for my friends and I, the room was litt, big, clean and such a great vibe !! They had a good selection of music plus u can hook up your own phone to play your own music !! It’s $45 an hour but so worth it !! They take 20% gratuity which surprised me but overall I had an amazing experience !!
This is by far the best karaoke in NYC. I was amazed by the ambience of this karaoke, it is very modern and sophisticated. They have such a variety of cocktail selections which I loved! The rooms were spacious and the quality of their mic and the music system is up to date! All of my friends had an amazing time here! Also, the staff were so friendly.
Amazing service - awesome karaoke - this place rocks! They were very accommodating when placing us in a karaoke room and getting our drink orders. During my many visits to New York, I have never experienced customer service this great. This is truly a place where you want to be on any night of the week and definitely a place to be with a group of people.
Its new and the facilities are really clean and modern. I like how the entire place sticks to the space theme with the alien decorations and unique lighting. The price per person wasnt super high, but the staff charges a minimum food/drink order of $10 per person on weekend nights (Fri-Sun). When our orders came out late, the staff provided us with extra service.
Space Karaoke is one of the best karaoke bars in NYC. Beautiful wall decor in the lobby, stylish private room, hot members of the staffs and the best sound system.Song selection is also amazing, classics to new releases. They have two different karaoke system; One has international songs and other has english and spanish songs.Space Karaoke have lots of promotions going on since they recently open. You can save lots of money if your planning to do end of year company party.Only drawback of Space Karaoke is most of the private rooms they have are made for big group of party. So if you are group of 2 ~ 3 people, you will have hard time getting a room at weekend. However, I really think this place is best place to party if you have a big group of people.
What a night! Yesterday (Tuesday) my wife an I visit for the 1st time this lounge after searching on google for a place to go out, for a few drinks and maybe a little dance to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The place was so awesome that is now in our Fav. List, Morgan and Chris (hosts) were just fabulous, good drinks and food (try the sausage pizza), great music selection, the Karaoke was super fun and lastly the location is just perfect.Definitely going back soon :-)
I was excited to visit here yesterday for the first time. I only found out about it because Im a regular at Space Billiards. The owners said they recently had their grand opening and this past Friday I went to go check it out. They have an island bar in the middle of the venue and I think they have around 8 private rooms. I got a room and stayed for a few hours. The interior was very upscale and had that new place that just opened smell. Tables have LEDs and the seating is WHITE LEATHER!! I also noticed they have central vents AND air conditioning in each room (mad props because it can get too cold or hot in a specific room). Theres a dance floor and I was told theyre going to have DJs spinning for the bar area soon. Once they hook up their open mic bar karaoke, Im going every week!
Need to be COMPLETELY upfront about all their fees and practices. 20% tax automatically included. And did NOT tell us upfront that we were required to have $10 per HOUR per PERSON in the room ON TOP of the $55/hr room.We paid, but all these fees were NOT mentioned beforehand as that should have been.
If you are a minority do not come here or they will think you are taking drinks while not paying the open bar fee. Our party unfortunately had to go through this and it was embarrassing to go through while my having my friends birthday party. It was a good experience until they came to us with this accusation. Just a warning!
We had a small private room for 6 people. I chose this place because they have a song list on their site and I was able to look up the 80’s tunes my friends and I wanted to sing to make sure they were available. We were told that night that the song list on their site was an English system, but they only had a Korean system. No idea why it’s on their site. Then we find that the book of Songs was only sorted by song and not by artist.. then we see that the controller to enter your song choice is in Korean. We were shown how to get to an English page to choose songs. But we were unable to choose by artist bc the keyboard was all in Korean. We did finally find teeny tiny worn out English letters on the key pad butIt was so late at that point that our time ranout. I have been to 2 other Karaoke places on 32nd st. This one was by far the most difficult to find songs. I will not go back.
Space is my go to place for drinks and karaoke! The bartender, Jay, is incredible! He exceeded my expectations in terms of hospitality. I’m from the south and it’s very difficult to get such kindness and welcomeness from service. I recommended my friends all to Space! I’ll always come here when i visit! Don’t let the bad reviews stop you! This is where you should go if you want the best drinks, services, and also cleanliness!

2022-02-22Had such a good time here on a 2/19. Celebrated the bfs bday. We did the BYOB option and paid about $85 per person for 3 hours, we ordered some food and mixers for the drinks and also provided ice and cups. It was a packed house, to get to the 11th floor was not quick due to the amount of people waiting in the lobby for the elevators. The room was so dope. We controlled the lights, we used youtube to choose the songs and had a beat machine that the guys were going crazy over. Overall had so much fun and would go back.

2021-12-24Just an OK place to go for Karaoke. The design was pretty cool and gives off a good vibe. Everything is totally overpriced. Their system is slow and buggy. Remote control is very difficult to use.

2021-12-30Nice place to go for a small party or celebration of some sort. The price for the room isnt bad, the only thing I didnt like was the price for drinks. The menu says one thing, But they tax each drink separately. $13 drink ends up being over $17. But we did have a blast in there doing Karaoke.

2022-07-08Listen- if you are looking for a solid karaoke spot in Ktown- come here! The vibes- immaculate. So clean, great song options, and the drinks were worth it. Jay, Ji, Minsu, and Kevin all deserve a raise. We were fully entertained just hanging at the bar after singing our feelings out on a Monday night. Guys- thanks for a great night!

2022-05-29Since discovering this place, I’ve been more to karaoke in the last 3 months than in my entire life!On busy nights, think to reserve, but some weekday nights you might be lucky to get in without a reservation and it’s honestly so much fun. Each room is a mini disco night club. Music choice is based off YouTube so not much to say. Two mics, both work well, one big screen and a few small screens. Lights are great. Costs are something like $40 per hour plus every one has to order a drink. Totally recommend, it’s a lot of fun.

2022-05-07Anywhere in Ktown for karaoke is not going to be cheap, and this place is no exception. The drinks are all $16 on average, to get a room for 2 hours is $200 including bites and booze, and a 20% gratuity is automatically included on all bills. The reason I still give 5 stars is because the service was great - as we were waiting a bartender gave our group a free round of shots and when paying they specifically informed me that gratuity was already included (I paid extra tip anyways). They also give you free popcorn while you’re waiting. We were told 1 hour wait on a Friday night and waited 1 hours and 20 minutes, so overall it was a good experience for a night out with friends!

2022-05-16I went here for my bday with a group of friends. I reserved VIP drinks top shelf with beer and wine included for $59 per person. The bill came out over $1,000 when it should have been $700 for the amount of people we had and the package we did. No one even explained how to use the system for the songs we had to pick up our own drinks at the bar. i would not recommend this place or their package deals they over charge and just take advantage.

2022-05-30Rented a private room for birthday (18 guests). The atmosphere was really fun and it was nice to have a private room. However we did the BYOB package, which includes water and soft drinks. We only got 1 pitcher off each drink and then the waiter never came back (2hr reservation). I had to go to the bar to get another water pitcher and then the bill had automatic 20% gratuity.... but for what, I dont know since it was BYOB.... Also be warned the elevator is a super long line... we got there 10 mins early and could not get the whole group up in time for our reservation and the staff were not accomodating. Our last song was cut off and we were kicked out really abruptly. Not a great experience for a group spending over a thousand dollars....

2022-03-24It was okay... Certainly not great. My partner threw my birthday party here and PRE-booked an entire package. When we arrived we were told that our package didnt include what it was supposed to. When my partner showed them the receipt they said, okay, well give you part of what you already paid for. We never got that part. Then they closed our tab an hour early, and again when showing them the PRE-paid receipt, they re-opened our tab, but charged us a room fee twice...were still fighting with them a week later. The actual karaoke was only okay as its a touch screen YouTube system...so you need to hope the songs you want are available as its not classic karaoke. The two good stars are because we had a blast!!

2022-06-11One of the best if not the best place to be. I’ve been coming here for a little less than 2 years now and it’s by far my favorite spot in ktown. The staff treat you incredibly well and you’re always welcome. I see some reviews that talk about the drink prices, but you’re in midtown and ktown prices are all high anyways. If you want cheap drinks go to Williamsburg or NJ.Being said, bottle prices are very fair especially compared to every where else. The rooms are always so clean and the staff is very responsive to any issues that arise. 10/10 would recommend.
