Always amazing service! The girls there are awesome and really care to give you what you want and give you perfect nails. They dont rush even when they feel rushed and its always a good job and good time. The owners are really nice and since they took over a couple of years ago theyve done a fantastic job 😊

I’ve been coming here for the longest. They always do a great job and understand what I want. They take their time and make sure I’m satisfied. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants their nails nicely done.
First time going hear since the pandemic, everything was very clean. They take your temperature and have hand sanitizer upon entry. The stations had pixiglass for manicures. Pedicure was amazing n such a Great job!

They are very nice the place very clean and service is exellent and I am thrilled that they are close to my home.
I called in advance to ask if I could come in at 5pm. I was told to come at 5:30pm instead. I rearranged personal plans to make my appointment later and was told that I could not be seen until 6pm when I arrived. I was laughed at and brushed aside after expressing their unprofessionalism. I was told I had to make an appointment 24 hours in advance. I asked why I wasnt told this on the phone and she had no answer - just repeated that they didnt make appointments. I have used their service before as a walk in and the service was great. But! No one should be taking someone elses time for granted. Especially a customer.
First time I walked in, Nicki did a wonderful job on my coffin shaped fill in. I was sad when they told me she no longer worked there 2 weeks later. The new person assigned to me made the acrylic really thick with more of a square shape than coffin. The third time going, a new lady was assigned where she charged me an additional $5 for coffin shape. Who charges extra for that?! I was surprised, especially after not being charged the extra on the first 2 occasions. In the end the new lady didnt give me much of a coffin shape either. Spoke to the owner several times. she did nothing to fix the situation and basically told me I could go elsewhere. I wish I knew where Nicki went! Id follow her!
Worst experience of my life I don’t write reviews this is my first one. One of the lady’s messed up my pedicure which I just let slide but when it came down to my gel manicure when she was done the clear coat was falling off when I asked someone to fix it the Owenr got upset and was rude and rough on my nails horrible Customer service and the fact that they have people working there that don’t know how to even do a basic gel manicure blows my mind.
Used to be my go-to, but lately Ive noticed a severe deterioration in quality. Went today for a gel manicure and the nail tech was rough, sloppy, and in a rush. I asked her several times to file more gently or fix the gel to no avail - she seemed annoyed that I was even asking. She then had an issue with the amount I chose to tip, which was still a normal amount based on the poor quality manicure I had just received. Quality here is really hit or miss and depends on the tech that you get, is that really something you want to risk given the amount of money youre spending on your nails? Based on this experience, Ill be finding a different salon in Astoria.

Ive been a customer here since January 2021, I really like the way they do nails. I dont like the hike in pricing. Last week as normal I went to get my nails. Upon arrival I was greeted and asked what I needed. I informed the lady I would like a fill- in with Gel color. She told me to pick a color. I asked how long the wait wpuld be she stated 15 minutes. I said ok, I will pay the meter. I came right back, and waited patiently for 35-40 minutes. As I waited 3 other women came in between (2 white, 1 Asian). 1 with an appt. the other 2 w/out an appt. The same lady asked what they needed. The lady with an appt of course was seated first. She then seated the other two simultaneously, never again acknowledging my existence. I couldnt believe my eyes. The total nerve I thought I gathered my things to leave and she called out to me Uumm Ms, I was so angry I walked out. Never again will I patronize this establishment. That was very disrespectful.
I love this place. The nail tech really takes his time to do nails and I love how detailed he is making sure your designs are perfect.
With the reviews being so dramatically different and on opposite sides of the spectrum it was hard to gauge what was more accurate so I decided to take a chance. BIG MISTAKE. Not sure what was present for those giving high ratings but it was absent from my experience. I never write reviews but will share for anyone confused by the range in ratings.The three things that I find essential for a salon experience are price, selection, and serviceGood: They were open the day before memorial day and agreed to take a couples mani/pedi with no appointment. The space is well lit and clean. Pricing is comparable to neighborhood and the selection of nail colors and brands is large.Not Good: The service was so bad it cancels out everything else. When we arrived not only were we not greeted but attempts to check in for our appointment were met with annoyance. Nail technician continually ignored requests to be more gentle which resulted in skin abrasions from file and cuts beyond cuticles. Shaping was uneven polish had to be doctored from technicians carlessness. While there I witnessed two other customers being argued with over service requests and there is a general attitude of rudeness beginning with the manager/owner.I could list more examples but instead Ill sum up with this: if you care about how youre treated and want a reliable outcome for the service you want then let this salon be your last resort.

Got my nails done by Angelina - it was my 2nd time trying dip powder (1st time was elsewhere) and I loved how they looked. So natural, not too thick and beautiful. Angelina took her time to make sure they were perfect!
I love coming here. The staff are always welcoming, helpful and very nice. They do such a great job on my nails and pedicures. No rush jobs, they are patient and do great work.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND THEIR EMPLOYEES ESPECIALLY JULIE. They overcharge you for EVERYTHING and give you the nastiest nails and won’t fix anything they messed up and ignore you until you leave. Overall just stay away and find a better place with better price. SMH
If I could give it a 0 star, I would have. I should have learned my lesson from the first I went there and they screwed me then but I thought after a few years, they should have gotten better. I walked in at 12:40pm and told them that 4 of us are getting our nails done. Some gel and some Sns dip and I know it was going to a little bit of time but I was okay with that. First, I got my gel pedicure done and was told to wait as there are only 2 people that can do what I wanted so I decided wait patiently. After another 30 minutes, I ask them how much longer for my nails and she replies another 40 minutes because the other technician took someone else instead of me despite knowing I had been there since 1240pm and and it is now 3pm. When I asked her how did she go before me? Her reply was oh you were waiting and you came before her? She played dumb. How dare they freaking play dumb? I will not recommend this place to anyone as their work may be decent, but as far as staff and integrity goes, they are the worst kind of people? Second time this shit happened here. And the sad part is, we went ended spending more than $250 collectively and it could have been more. Will never go back and neither will my friends who would rather give their money somewhere else. Ridiculous place and worst staff ever.
They are professional and do great work. Just wish it didnt feel like an assembly line, they are always busy.
Nice to stop in after a workout next door. Regular manicure doesnt last that long, but they do a good job cleaning and shaping your nails. A little overpriced, but the mani + pedi special is doable.
I have gotten my nails done before from other male workers but this has to be the worst experience ever. I don’t mean to be sexiest or anything but never go to the male nail saloniest. I disiden catch his name but o think he was probably the owner or manager. He’s very rough, he can’t seem to do the nail shapes nicely and the gel filling was sloppy. I can’t believe I paid $60 for tips and gel manicure and my nails came out to look like fake nails purchased from a local drug store. Smh 🤦♀️ My nails look bulky and ugh. The environment is clean and they take precautions and all but they need for train their workers. Plus taking Chinese and laughing at your customers isn’t very professional.
I love Jenny, she is my go to girl, but Rosa is also really good!!! They have been by far the best nail salon near me... A bit pricey but definitely a good job!! My only issue is how long I have to wait after making an appointment 3 hours ahead of time, get there 10 min early and still wait almost a hour before they took me... Not good at all!!! Whats the point of making an appointment if I have to wait so long... Smh..
The place is cute and Rosa is absolutely great but aside from that Im not impressed one bit. I paid $35 for a pedicure with gel polish which is typical pricing but I had to go through 3 people not understanding that I WANTED gel polish not already HAD gel polish. Do yourself a favor see Rosa and get your pedicure done properly

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! I arrived with a friend at 8:50pm on a Friday night and was told they could only take one which was fine even though the door sign says they close at 10pm (there wasn’t anyone else waiting). After 30 minutes of soaking on the pedi chair my friend was asked to get up because they wouldn’t be able to take care of her after all! I don’t understand why they have a sign at the door with hours that obviously they don’t follow and why we weren’t just told from the beginning that they wouldn’t see any of us instead of having my friend sit and soak for 30 minutes at the pedi chair?!?!?! I would completely understand if we had walked in at 9:30 but it was 8:50pm and there wasn’t anyone else waiting! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!
LOVE..LOVE..LOVE this place. I come here every 2 to 3 weeks to get acrylic fill ins an pedicures. So far all of the nail technicians have done a good job, but Jenna (I believe that is her name, I know shes from Venezuela ) is the best. I dont care if I have to wait for her..I dont mind thats how great she is. Also shes very thorough but fast, and has a really sweet personality. Everything within the salon is very clean, and very inviting.
The massage chair wasn’t working and they refused to change me to a new chair. That’s part of what you’re paying for... pedicure was fine... I just wasn’t pleased with the lack of concern on their part. I hope they read their reviews. 🤦♀️ Anyways.. don’t go here if you want to avoid this pure lack of concern.
Was just there today. Male nail tech in the blue shirt was terrible. Felt as he was rushing through it and was very rough with filing. I had to ask a few times for him to stop being so rough with my toes and he just ignored me.
Costumer service is very bad.i was told a different price in the beginning and ended up paying more.I had rough edges and my nails looked like I needed a refill.Honestly there are better spots right across the street who do better and cheaper job.
Their is no order in this place. Wife went in for sns dip and tip and gel pedicure and had to wait for more than 2 hours but got skipped over by other people because they dont care. The staff and management is terrible. She will never go back. She even brought friends with her and now they wont be going back either. CHANGE THE MANAGEMENT.
I did sns dipping powder for the first time to see how does that come out. I wont say it was bad. It was good but during filing up my nails they filed up my skin too and its hurting much now.

They give you a price at the beginning and then you end up paying a fortune, a week ago I made my last manicure on this site, when I was going to pay a manicurist man told me that they charged me 5 dollars to make me the shape of my nail (I was supposed to be included in the manicure) and 10 dollars for removing my acrylic nails with a subway card, (when I was previously charged 5) I ended up paying 80 dollars for only acrylic and gel nails . In addition my nails were thick and lumpy, The duration was 3 hours and left me cracks in two of my fingers. I will never return to this lousy place! If you dont want to lose your money, dont go!
I loved the name of this place, so Im bummed that my manicure was awful. I came in because Im about to get engaged and needed clean, pretty nails before theres a ring on my finger. The woman who did my nails barely filed them - she was going for a square shape and they wound up very uneven, it looks like a drunk person did them. Then she started applying polish while there were still rough edges everywhere. She kept on getting up and walking away, and one of those times I just filed them myself! Then, her manager came up and told her she was using the wrong base coat. She only fixed the base coat on one hand while her manager watched, but never fixed the other. My nails are now so uneven and jagged that I have to get another manicure tonight to fix it. Save yourself the frustration and money and go somewhere else!
I like going to this nail salon ... When I get sns powder it last pretty long longer than other places ... my nail tech person that I always go to is Jenna ... she’s very professional, nice & does nails really good ... Yes sometimes there is a long wait but at the end it’s worth the wait ... I’m always happy when I get my nail done by Jenna ... other nail tech that’s good too r Rosa & Jenna brother (I forgot his name) ... the reason why I say there r good cus I c the job that they do on other customers nails .... so regardless of the long wait they r awesome.
This place is not so charming. I went in last week to get my meni/pedi and I definitely wont be coming back. The ladies that work here cannot do their job.. not even remotely (my pedi ended up being uneven and strangely shaped and so is my meni). We went back and forth a couple of times (I asked them to fix it, but it didnt help much). Their regular nail polisher color selection was not so big (though I believe their gel selection is a bit better). Also, I am not so sure about their sanitary practices.

Apparently its under new management and the lady doing my nails was the owner Jenna, I love the way they came out. A filling and one nail replacement, she really took her time with even came with a little massage
This is my go to place after kickboxing, and with my dad being ill i had not had a chance to get a pedicure. There were two new Asian technicians discussing how much deadskin I had coming off my feet. They were so obviously staring and speaking in their language it made me upset.
It was my first time going there but I enjoyed the service and they did my nails really really nice I look good with my birthday dress

2022-01-17I’ve been looking for nail technical who’s able to make a perfect French, and finally I found the best master.I came as a walk-in customer, all masters were busy, but my friend highly recommended this salon, so I stayed.While I was waiting, I were picking the color. They have a huge selection of gel, powder and nail polishes. Also I saw the nail designs on display. With gemstones, freehand designs, ombre and etc.I guess I’m lucky that the first available master were JANNA. I took a chance and asked her to make me full acrylic set with tips and a French design with a little gemstones in each finger.She did the job brilliantly. When I saw the final work I was shocked. Like, it’s not just good- it’s perfect. There is no paint or gel color under my nails, acrylic filling is smooth and even, everything as I wanted!I live in NYC for 5 years and it’s the first time I have a perfect nails. No complains. Just bravo.Highly recommend.Thank you so much JANNA.

2021-09-03First off all, I walked in here with horrible orangutan feet. It was about 2 months since my last gel pedicure.Now they are beautiful clean orangutan feet. Very happy with the work. The man with the blue shirt WENT IN. He definitly knew the assignment at hand. Not gonna lie, hes type aggressive with the way he was grabbing my feet, but I believe it was because hes a perfectionist and wanted to do the best job. I like that he got all the callus and shaped my nails to a T. I almost caught a cramp during his massage when he was punching at my legs, but it was well worth it. Thanks.

How did you get your nail technician license???She cut my nail crooked it. It was nice square shape. She left it light pink i think the polish was old its not even it has dots

2022-02-06Truly the best pedicure I’ve ever gotten. Technicians here really pay attention to what you ask them for, I needed a callous treatment and boy did she deliver. $45 for a spa pedicure with callus remover, a thorough scrub, and an amazing massage which felt like a great deal. In the city they will charge you $70 for the same and they barely rub your feet. I’ll be back

I’ve recommended my friends and family here; they LOVEE this salon! Janna and her staff are some of the most talented people I’ve ever met. 2021-08-24Three very different experiences!!! Overall rating given.I decided to try this place since my mom loves it. I saw the low stars and was not confused at all. I been here 3xs Once for my wedding 3 years ago. Secondly 4 months later. Thirdly a few weeks ago.First time:I cried I didnt like my nails at all. I was getting married. Color , shape and style all off!!!Second time:Great experience!! I bought in a picture of how I wanted nails to be and the lady did them perfectly!!! I was shocked. I had the colors from Barbados since, me and my husband were going for our honeymoon it was a really nice touch. ☺ I received plenty of comments. All good!Third:This visit I was skeptical since I had seen all the reviews. I had to give it another go. I had my nails done by Helen she was very nice. I did the sns powder and I really liked them they looked very natural. As forPricing they do surcharge if you pay with credit or debit! I have not experienced issues with paying differently than told. I paid $42 for my sns and can say that was a great price.As far as language barrier. Yes!!! Definitely an issue..if you have patience you can figure it out!!!While I like my nails. The one thing they need to work on aside from some customer service skills. They do need to work on tidying and cleaning up. If they work on it.. They can bank on getting more clients. I was a big fan of another nail salon since they raised the prices I am considering returning to Helen. FYI!! Will bring my own tools. Just for nails.I always say read the reviews and see for yourself!! Hope this helps!
