This is one of the best places to intern if you are in college studying television production and looking to gain experience in the news industry. As a field production intern, the people here are so nice and they are willing to teach interns a lot about being in field production and how to take your dreams of working for news and take them to the next level. Working in the news trucks is a great experience because learning how to make critical decisions and diagnose problems regarding lighting, camera, sound and other equipment is a process that requires experience and dedication. Ive also met many public officials and learned about many of the issues that are facing the people of New York City and how important local news is to able to deliver that news that helps keep New Yorkers informed about news events and also keeping people safe. This is a wonderful experience and has given me so many opportunities to pursue my dreams. Thank you NY1 Spectrum News!

Was good, then $pectrum ran them to the ground. NY1 is unwatchable now. Rectum cable is the major cause of global warming.

Media black out of the only minority gubernatorial candidate on the ballot Larry Sharpe. They list every other candidate in the voter guide except the only African American candidate, not cool NY1!
