DJ Anthony made our wedding so special. We had a few bumps in our planning process and he worked well to help us smooth them out and made the perfect reception. He was very attentive and easy going and made sure everyone (especially the bride !) had fun.
When we planned our wedding there was truly only one DJ in mind - Spectrum Sounds - and we couldnt be happier with the amazing service that they provided. A DJ at a wedding is so much more than just music (which was perfectly cued every step of the night). They are also, in a big way, the curator of the night. They help organize, coordinate, announce, and make sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. Spectrum Sounds did just that. If I could rewind time and make any changes I wouldnt - because they did everything perfectly. Thank you for the memorable night.
We had Anthony as a DJ for our wedding reception. He was organized, easy to work with, and did a fantastic job with the announcements and song choices throughout the night. Were very happy that we went with Spectrum Sounds for our celebration!
I cannot thank Spectrum Sounds enough for everything! Mike has been in business for over 30 years and you truly see why when working with him. Before the big day, him and the whole team were so flexible communicating, planning and rescheduling with me multiple times due to COVID changes.Tony was our DJ for the reception and absolutely killed it! From the announcing, to the requests taken and the music we had already selected, our dance floor was full all night! Your guests will never be bored! You know you have a good DJ when you have people not wanting to leave the dance floor and people dancing on elevated surfaces (dont worry, no one got hurt!)We also had the mirror me photo booth, which was a huge hit. Thank you Spectrum Sounds for giving us the celebration we deserved! You guys are the best of the best!

We got married July 17, 2021 and booked with spectrum sounds for both dj and photo booth services and we were not disappointed. Mike Lamarca was always able to help us out whenever we needed by letting us reach out to him on his personal phone. One the day of the event we had Tony as our DJ and he did not disappointment. He kept the partying going and got our guests amped up for the night! He even stayed past his booked time to play the much demanded Free Bird. Also, their photo booth was a hit! People were using it all night long and the booth attendant even got on the dance floor to party with us! Nothing but praises for this company ! Thank you again!
After looking at all different DJs at different price ranges for our wedding that was on NYE 12/31, my (now) husband and I decided to check out Spectrum sounds because they seemed to have the best reviews and also a doable price for us. We were not disappointed. They made the planning process so easy. I was clueless in terms of what we wanted done for our wedding but they walk you through everything. Day of the wedding they exceeded our expectations as well. Their set up looks great, the lighting they use and everything is so well done. Our DJ Anthony nailed everything from the ceremony songs we wanted at the perfect times, and was a great MC for the wedding! Played great music all night and everyone was always on the dance floor during the reception. He was a joy to work with! Can’t say enough good things about them! :)
From the beginning of the planning to the day of our wedding, Spectrum Sounds was absolutely phenomenal. Mike Sr. and Jay made us feel very at ease during the planning process. Mike Jr., Zach & the whole team were absolutely terrific the day of our wedding. The dance floor was packed the entire night. They were attentive to our needs, and proactive with our schedule. We were more than impressed by our experience with Spectrum Sounds!! The DJ’s got right up to dance on the dance floor, which all the guests loved! They knew what to announce and when to announce it and did a fantastic job coordinating the entire evening for us! Everything was extremely organized and they knew exactly what to do to get everyone on the dance floor! All of our guests said our wedding was so much fun and we owe it all to Spectrum Sounds!!
Spectrum sounds was amazing to work with from the very beginning!! Being a covid 😔bride plans changed....ALOT. I never once felt like I was being a pain or inconveniencing Mike at all. He was so willing to work with us no matter what we needed. The day of, they were on time, professional, and kept the party going all night. They helped my sister coordinate a special surprise dance for me❤️. My dance floor was over flowing all night long, I honestly don’t remember a time when it wasn’t full.We also had the mirror me photo booth. My guests RAVED about it, they said it was the coolest photo booth they have seen! I loved getting all the pictures after too!!! We used it as our favor paired with a picture frame at the suggestion of mike and jay!! Would highly recommend to anyone!!!!!
My fiance and I are planning our wedding and have booked Spectrum Sounds to do the music for our special day. Both Jay and Mike have been great to work with. All of our questions and concerns have been answered and we cannot wait to dance the night away!UPDATE: We had our wedding back in September and Jay was our DJ for the event. He was fantastic and all of our guests had nothing but great things to say about the music, he definitely kept people on the dance floor and multiple times we were asked where did you find this DJ? Just met Mike to plan our daughters wedding in 2022. Spectrum Sounds was recommended by the seller of our recently purchased home whose own daughter is using them this coming summer. His years of experience in the business and sincerity reassured us that we will be in good hands. They have worked with all our other vendors so communication is a given and I feel confident that the day of will be well orchestrated so we can just enjoy the event!
I’m a little late on my review but better late then never! I just wanted to say how amazing Jay was! I feel like the DJ makes or breaks your wedding. Jay was definitely the life of the party! I’m watching our wedding video right now and he was so interactive with our guests! He was dancing all over the dance floor and behind his DJ booth! Not only was he so fun but he also kept our wedding organized. We even threw a few curve balls at him, like accidentally mixing up the bridal party introductions (which I don’t recommend). But he stayed calm during the whole thing. He made sure that we kept to our time line too, it was like having a wedding organizer and a DJ all in one!Jay is seriously amazing and an outstanding DJ! We couldn’t have asked for a better one!
After researching several different DJ’s for my wedding, my fiancée and I chose Spectrum Sounds! We had previously been to a wedding that had Spectrum Sounds as their DJ and it was amazing. They are also the top recommended DJ on wedding sites and blogs! We could not be more thrilled to have such an amazing business be apart of our special day! Planning our wedding during this pandemic has been very stressful for many different reasons, but Spectrum Sounds has made this unusual experience feel normal. They have taken all precautions to ensure both my fiancée’s and my health along with their employees. We have had a zoom meeting, along with phone calls and emails! I have been in touch with Michael LaMarca the past few days and he is beyond amazing! I was told if I had any questions to not hesitate calling him and wow was he serious about that... I had a few questions for him and he answered right away! The response time is impressively quick. When my fiancée and I decided we wanted to book Spectrum Sounds as our DJ we were already so excited because of their good reviews and reputation! Now that we are actually booked for our date, we are absolutely ecstatic because of how professional and caring they have been towards us during this difficult time for everyone.
I could not have picked a better team for our wedding! Spectrum Sounds made everything during the planning process so easy. Everyone we encountered was professional and reliable, but also so much fun. They had our guests on the dance floor all night (sometimes they came out to teach us a few dance moves!) and even helped us plan a few special touches we had during the reception! We were also lucky enough to have Mike marry us, and the vows he wrote were so meaningful. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! We loved them!
If you choose Spectrum Sounds for your wedding, you will not be disappointed! They did an amazing job. They planned out my playlist with me and respected my wishes of songs I did not want played. They were great at reading the crowd and playing the songs that got our guests up dancing and having a great time. Many guests told us it was the best wedding they had been to and I believe our DJ from spectrum sounds was a huge part of that!

Was BEYOND thrilled with our decision to use Spectrum Sounds. The truly made the process of wedding planning less stressful with the guidance they provided leading up to the big day. They created a custom playlist for us with all our favorite songs, both currently on the radio and the ones that make you and your best friends hit the dance floor like youre back in high school! They ensured they kept the party rolling all night. Every single time weve used Spectrum Sounds for events, I have guests ask, who were the DJs?? They were awesome and played all my favorite songs! Customized, professional and reliable service that will keep your guests on the dance floor start to finish!
We had a wonderful experience with Spectrum Sounds. James was our DJ and he kept everything running smoothly that evening. The dance floor was packed and everyone commented on what a fun time it was. Many guests danced all the way to midnight. Several of our friends have used them as well and have been pleased with their services too.
We had Tony as our DJ and he was the best! Extremely friendly, professional, and picked great songs to compliment our list of must plays :) He was energetic the whole night through making it hard not to be the same. Our guests had a blast dancing the night away!I only wish the communication was a little better during planning. I spoke with 3 different people throughout and it caused some stress a couple days before because not everyone was on the same page. In the end it all turned out great and we will have some wonderful memories :)

Amazing company for a wedding DJ...Tony at Spectrum Sounds was fantastic and took a lot of the stress out of planning. He was professional, easy to communicate with, and executed all our requests perfectly. People were dancing all night and saying how fun the music was!
I seriously cant say enough good things about Spectrum sounds, from start to finish they go above and beyond to make every wedding flawless. I just love working with them and know when my brides Hire them the wedding will be amazing. keeping the dance floor packed all night and uplighting so the room looks breathtaking, they even get the Grandparents on the dance floor all night. I hired Spectrum sounds to DJ my daughters wedding. From first meeting at a bridal show to the evening of her wedding my dealings with Mike were outstanding. He was professional, patient, witty, sincere and and overall pleasure to work with. I suggest him and Spectrum Sounds every chance I get.
Spectrum was great to work with! We had Tony as our DJ and he had people on the dance floor all night! Also we highly recommend the mirror me photo booth, all of our guests loved it, and the photo booth attendant was amazing and helped compile our scrapbook for us!
The dj was completely unprepared. He did not preview any of our music which led to the mother/ son dance being botched with a techno version of the chosen song instead of what we picked. He did not play any of the hundreds of songs we sent to him. Some songs were played twice (September by Earth Wind and Fire was played twice) he did not use the song we specifically requested for our final song of the evening. We had to keep going up to the dj booth and asking for our music to be played. He would play one song and then go back to his generic wedding playlist. After emailing my concerns after the wedding, the dj was completely unapologetic and basically blamed me/had excuses for everything. He said he didn’t have access to edited versions of our music but I have EMAILS from the company’s secretary saying that it would be “no problem” and that the dj would have all of the edited songs. So instead, we had a lazy dj who didn’t okay any of our requested music. I will be letting everyone I know about my experience with this company. PS, it’s poor etiquette to tell a disappointed customer that “everyone else loved it” and they had “lots of guests asking for their contact information.” IM the person who shelled out thousands of dollars so that’s extremely disrespected.
My Husband and I loved Spectrum Sounds! They were awesome to work with and Nate did a fantastic job for our wedding and all of our guests loved the music! We will use Spectrum Sounds for all of our Dj needs hands down!
Spectrum sounds is top notch!!! I have been to numerous, probably 5 by now, events that spectrum sounds have entertained at and they are nothing but the best. Anthony was the DJ for all of our children’s school events this year. The students and staff loved him and reported having “The BEST time ever”. The kids danced all night long and everyone enjoyed themself. Anthony was fun, polite and friendly. He interacted well with the kids and adults. If you want an amazing event, Spectrum Sound is the only way to go!!!!
I had been to several events with Spectrum Sounds dj’ing so I knew they were someone we wanted to talk to. Initially after our first meeting I was a little taken back by the cost but after letting it marinate, I knew it would be worth it. I know things go wrong but I knew I trusted them 110% because they are true professionals. Michae LaMarca dj’d through our ceremony and the entire night – it was a blast. He got out on the dance floor at one point to do one of the dances with us. I’m so glad we decided to go with them. We also used their “mirror me” photobooth which was such a hit – there was a huge line throughout the night. Our guests absolutely loved it.

I had chosen spectrum sounds as my dj for my vendor and there are no words that can begin to describe how perfect everything went. My guests never left the dance floor and everything ran smoothly. They officiated my wedding, they were my DJs, and I booked the mirror me photo booth with them. It was all just perfect.

Mike and Joe were some of the best wedding DJs we could have hired. Everyone that attended our wedding couldn’t stop telling us how much fun the wedding was and that all falls down onto the DJ. They ask for recommendation lists and they played all of the songs. They also have do not play lists which we appreciate! We also had the mirror photo booth that was a hit all around! We can’t wait to see all of the pictures we will get back digitally from that! And also, what DJ let’s the Bride be the DJ for a song!?

Mike & Tony were MORE than I could have ever asked for ... from organizing the entire bridal party to walk down the isle, helping with entrances , even showing us how to pose for the epic cake cutting photo . EVERYONE was on the dance floor the entire night Mike and Tont knew just the right mix of music to get everybody dancing and having fun with the perfect amount of requests thrown in there as wel. 2022-08-18Spectrum Sounds did an incredible job at our wedding! Our DJ, Anthony, was the absolute best. He communicated everything with us prior to the event which made everything on the day of run super smoothly. Anthony’s wife, Denise, did a great job running the photo booth. The photo booth was a major hit at our reception! We are so glad we went with Spectrum Sounds for our big day.

My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with how Jay (Our DJ) handled our wedding. His energy, positive spirit and making sure we had everything we needed for our special day separates himself from the rest of the competition. The client portal was easy and extremely helpful with picking out songs. We definitely appreciated that.The one thing my wife and I loved was his efficiency during the wedding. A Dj is one of the most important vendors at a wedding and it is so important to pick someone who is going to hell make it the day you dreamed of. He was able to get everyone on the dance floor! 2021-10-10Spectrum sounds was amazing to work with! Communication was amazing and quick if my husband or I had any questions. Tony was our DJ on 10.1.21. He was awesome, even all of our guests came up to us saying he was great! We also had the mirror me photo booth and it was a blast out guests had so much fun and the woman working the booth (sorry Im blanking in her name) was so great with the guests and the select kids we had attend our wedding. 2022-05-22WOW YES! Mike officiated my best friends wedding and emceed the reception. He gave a lovely ceremony and did a great job keeping the vibes up all night! The DJ (also spectrum sounds) was spinning the HOTTEST 1s and 2s that kept the dance floor full all night! Highly recommend for your next event!

He kept the party going all night playing to the crowd that was on the dance floor and helped streamline everything and was in constant communication with me the entire night and the days and weeks before finalizing everything. Spectrum sounds itself was also great to work with, from our first meeting and every time after. I cant recommend them enough!

2022-08-23I was a little anxious on what type of Dj I was getting at the last minute of deciding. I have to say Anthony Cruz (Dj Cruz) went above and beyond my expectations. We communicated a lot to keep the night flowing and organized. My family said the Dj was amazing! I had the best wedding night ever! Thank you for making my day Extra Special!
