Spiedie & Rib Pit in other cities:
As always the speedies were delicious!!! Never dry and always full of flavor. The newly redone atmosphere is so welcoming and the outside dining is a huge plus. They have done such a great job with this restaurant over the years and I enjoy looking forward to each meal I get there!!! The staff is also friendly.
One of the best and most affordable chicken spiedie salads in town; under $10! The staff are fantastic and the food is always fresh, above average quality, and prepared properly every time. Recently, when placing a take out order for a picnic, the staff packed a nice take out bag with everything we needed. As always, a great experience! Thanks!
Great local eatery, this place is a garunteed weekly meal based on the customer service alone. The staff work so well that my wife and I are not afraid of the long line on weekends as we know it will worth the wait. Always happy to leave a generous tip to give back to the local workers!
Had never heard of spiedies but saw a sign for the festival while traveling through Binghamton. Looked up the best places to have them and we were impressed with the this place. My favorite cuisine is middle eastern and so I was pleasantly surprised with the twist on kebabs. These things should be more than just a regional delicacy.Try the brussel sprouts as well!
The food is awesome, I have no qualms with that. What I do have an issue with, is ordering a Greek salad and ending up with lettuce, cucumber and tomato. I get being lunch time, but it takes no effort to actually make an order correctly when you have a menu in front of you and it tells you there what comes on it.
Its a clean and nice place to have a SpiedieI liked it but the chicken meat was extra salty so honey If your with high blood pressure you may want to mention you want it with a little Sault but in another hand the spices was good but little extra flavors, the bread is fresh and the workers are nice
WOW what a great find 👏 the food is simple and delicious me and my friends stumbled upon this we had steak sandwiches and they are really good at a fair price I should know I am a top notch chef if I say its Good believe me it is and there salads are very good as well no bucket stuff I can taste 😋 the LOVE STAY REAL KEEP THE LOVE WE WILL BE BACK next trip soon.
Heard great things about this place and they were definately true. Tried the Speidiemisso, think thats how it was spelled, and it was awesome. Provolone cheese, roasted peppers and onions with speidie chicken, yum! The service was good, food fresh and fast, clean, friendly place. Only complaint would be the portions for sides, onion rings, was small. Dont bother ordering them. Go for yourself, it is worth the trip.
If I could rate this higher than a five I would most definitely. There isn’t a doubt in my mind.I was admittedly skeptical, never having much luck with chicken-esque sandwiches (thanks high school cafeteria). The Spedie is the most delicious sandwich I have ever had in my entire life. None can compare! If you’re ever visiting or passing through the area, you NEED to have one. It should be a law haha.
The new space is beautiful! Clean, spacious, trendy. Swag to buy. Nice people. Everything on the menu it great! You can also buy sides, drinks, and treats from coolers. Definitely recommend. Currently, you may not eat in the dining room, but there is a buzzer system, so waiting outdoors is preferred, to avoid congestion and maintain social distancing.
Ordered 2 large Speddie Salads $10. For $10 a piece you get a whole 6 Speddies😡. Called Manager and get well am sorry we have new portion sizes. If I wanted just Lettuce onion and tomatoes I would have gone to the grocery store and bout it for maybe $6. YUP AFTER 20 YRS I SEE NOT DOING MUCH ORDERING THERE AGAIN!!!!!
Ordered a small Greek salad for take out & was very disappointed when I got home with it only to find out it was missing half of the toppings that should have been on it. (tomatoes, cucumbers & onions) Called to let them know & was told to come back when I could to get a replacement. Went back 2 days later & the salad was not only replaced, but I was offered a large one and a cookie. Not to mention I went at 5pm, but waited less than 5 minutes. Very impressive. Not only is the food and new location great, but the customer service was excellent. Thank you!
Dining area was very unkept. There were dirty floors and the tables and benches were dirty with food and salt. The young kids working there definitely were not routinely cleaning throughout their shift. They did do a great job of customer service and meeting the demands of all the orders in a timely fashion. The food was good. I would definitely go again just probably would order out unless management makes the dining area a priority.
The number of people that pack into this tiny space to order is a testament of just how good the food is. Never tasted spiedie before? No worries, theyll give you samples! Making a decision on which one to get is the hardest part! So damn delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend this hometown hole in the wall for a true taste of local flavor.
This place has some of the best spiedie in NY. Both the chicken and pork spiedie were well marinaded and very tasty. Theres outside sitting as well as some inside tables. All the prices are very reasonable and the sandwiches were loaded with big chunks of meat. Its a great place to get a quick bite thats different from the same old fast food joints.
Another Binghamton area restaurant coasting on its successes from decades ago.The cheeseburger had the cheese ripped off... like they replaced the bun. Weird, and gross. Ordered a plain cheeseburger with ketchup, and they added the works, including sauces, raw onions, etc.The greek style spiedie sub was not wrapped in a pita, but rather a bun, unlike how its described. A total waste of time and money.
Food was dry my salad was just thrown in there with very little chicken when I asked for extra the fries are super salty like the bottle was poured on it the lady was rude talking smack at the register because I didnt tip vestal isnt like this this is not the first time this has happened to me stop ripping people off I got a salad fries and a 6 inch with ketchup her sandwich easy dry I dont get it
This is definitely worth the stop to sample some wonderful regional cuisine. I’ve been here a few times and the food is always delicious and hot. The chick is moist, tender and extremely flavorful. The food came out fast and the staff was courteous. The fries were a little salty but, delicious as well. The new location is modern and clean. There is an outdoor eating area as well. Easy on and off access to major thoroughfares.
The outside decor has a nice change to it leaving it feeling like the local business that it is.The interior dressed with lovely tables and comfortable seats, artificial flowers to provide color to the room. Now for the food, the Greek specialty wrap came out with premium ingredients, although slightly dry I would get again. Feta cheese was fresh aswell as the grilled pita it came in. The fried brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked and then completely drowned in a soup of dressing. They nailed the coleslaw although a bit of a turn off to grab a prepackaged container from the cooler for a dine in experience. French fries perfect with a Crunchy exterior and a fluffy interior.
Good spiedies and ribs. Had the pork and chicken spiedie sandwiches. Both were really good. The meat wasn’t dry at all. Everything has good flavor and was hot. We also got a half rack of ribs and a ciabatta bing sandwich. I wish the ciabatta bing had more spinach and they remembered the cheese. But it was still good. The Mac and cheese was okay.
This place is amazing. Growing up in Western NY I had no idea what a Spiedie was until I moved to the Ithaca area. This is my favorite restaurant to get spiedies, and I stop whenever Im in the area. Their specialty Spiedie sandwiches are so good. You can also get uncooked or cooked spiedies in bulk to take home or to a picnic.
People come here for the food. The atmosphere isn’t much: a couple of indoor booths and some picnic tables outside, order at the counter. This place is a famous Binghamton landmark. I’ve never had the ribs, but I’ll swear by the pork Spiedies. The service was friendly, but there were a few misunderstandings in our order. Everything was cleared up soon and we really enjoyed the food.
What a lucky find for lunch! Stopped here on the way to the Finger Lakes. Easy access from I-81 (off and back on). Plenty of parking and nice clean rest rooms. Now the best part, the spiedies. I had never heard of these sandwiches before I came here. I ordered the Greek with chicken. Tasty, tender chicken served on a delicious pita. My husband ordered the End well, which comes with mushrooms and cheese. Also delicious. We opted for the onion rings which had a delicious crispy coating. Well definitely be stopping here on the way home!!
Always delicious. I love the Greek sandwich on pita bread. The new dining space is very cute and clean. The service is quick and friendly. Its better to show up and order than to call ahead, they dont answer their phone. Its one of my favorite places to grab lunch in the area.
Since they moved to their new location next door, the indoor seating has improved tremendously! I love sitting under the trees in front of the building, outside more than anything else, though; it feels like youre having a proper picnic. ☺️💕This place often gets so busy that you have to take a buzzer and wait off to the side for your food, but as long as youve got the time and patience for it, the food is worth the wait! If you dont like waiting, then this might not be the place for you.One of the only complaints I have is that their prices are pretty steep and have only gotten worse since the pandemic and inflation have taken such a toll on the economy. :If I had to choose between Lupos and the Spiedie & Rib Pit, Id choose these guys any day! I feel that their food is a lot better, but also the general atmosphere, and that makes a difference, for sure!
Delicious spiedies. I came with a group and we got Spiedie nachos, chicken Spiedie salad, 4 ribs, and a pork Spiedie. The nachos were a special. They came in a large portion and were on homemade chips...really good. Pork Spiedie was good, as usual. Chicken spiedie salad was good, but would have liked some more cucumber and tomato. Ribs were delicious and covered in sauce. Service was pretty good.
I placed online order for 2 salads with NO onion. I arrived at restaurant at 5:10 and the girl announced that I was there. Had to wait 30 minutes for my food while people that came in and ordered left with their food before me. Finally got salads at 5:40. Not only did they put onions on the salad, but the spiedies were ice cold. Poor service.
Food was really good. Huge portions. I got the greek speedie sub, loved it. Son got pulled pork, I managed to sneak a taste and it was really good as well. Wife got nachos with speedie chicken, not my thing, but the chicken makes up for it. Will stop again next time we pass through.
This small spot off the highway, nestled between strip malls is the pinnacle of local Binghamton flavor, the sandwich known as the spiedie. This bomb of flavor on a roll is essentially skewers of marinated meat buy when it hits your mouth it is so much more. The marinade and sauce combine into a mouth watering firework of flavor. The standard spiedie will get your mouth watering and the buffalo chicken one will satisfy the craving. The locals may order like five but one has so much meat you will be satisfied.
Used to love this place! The food is still decent but the service is terrible! This restaurant is run by teenagers. Its impossible to get through on the phone and they suggest you order online. When you order online they dont start making your food until you get there.
The new location is horrible. They can’t or won’t serve anybody. Twice this weekend we tried to order takeout. We called 4-5 times each night and only got the voicemail instructions to their new online ordering system. We tried the system at 7:45 Friday night. After navigating and paying for our order, ( 3 sandwiches) we received 4 emails confirming our order and welcoming us to yet another food order site.Confident that our order was in , we received another email saying they couldn’t fulfill our order and canceling us. Perfect.Ever since opening the new location, every time we order there’s some huge wait time involved. The last time was on a Monday night. We were told 50 minutes to an hour for two sandwiches at 7:30pm When I arrived there were two cars in the parking lot with people talking outside. I remarked that they must be the last of the big rush and they said they had been the only people in the lot for over a half hour.I went in and my cold food was waiting and you could tell the 3 employees I saw were in preclose mode.As a retired executive chef with over 55 new restaurant openings under my belt I can tell you what’s going on. The inmates are running the asylum. They’re allowing “key employees “ to run the shifts and make the calls ( or NOT answer them which is usually the case). There’s no definitive manager ever present as everyone is in the same uniform. Everyone is scattered and doing their own thing and nobody is in charge. The menu is incredibly simple to execute but somehow it isn’t. The food is awesome. That’s why I have put up with the service issues for so long but not anymore. In no way should employees be allowed to override a online ordering system. If it’s the manager , there damn well better be about three bus loads of hungry people waiting.Get rid of that wall behind the order taker. The previous kitchen was open which motivates staff to work harder. Who knows how many employees are sitting on a pickle bucket behind it.Take back control of your restaurant!
Even in a resurgence of the COVID (delta variant) pandemic, we stopped here on our way from Ithaca to Virginia. We were stumped at first by the fact that the old establishment we knew appeared to be closed, though, according to Google maps, the restaurant had been open for almost an hour. A helpful employee at a nearby muffler shop pointed to a nearby location a few dozen feet away, where we found new, bright, and comfortable looking dining facilities: We were back in a new & improved Spiedie heaven! The chicken Spiedies were lemony & tasty & (for someone who’s never lived in Binghamton) a bit exotic, sort of like gyros for someone who’s never laid eyes on that Greek/Middle eastern dish. The only staff person with whom we spoke was efficient & friendly. Warmly recommended to travelers passing through Binghamton on Interstate 81!
Come hungry, leave full and happy! Has an assortment of quality meats at reasonable bbq prices. I personally recommend ordering the greek chicken on a pita, pork supressimo, and the ribs! The ribs are fall of the bone tender. Great amount of meat on everything! Fries are also incredible. Ranch sauce is very good! Great pit stop on your way N or S to 81. Cant go wrong when you see multiple state troopers there!
Never knew what a spiedie was until today - its a type of marinated pork or chicken, cut into small, bite sized pieces and made into sandwiches. Extremely tender and delicious! The Greek sandwich was a hit, the fries were flawless and the pulled pork sandwich was probably enough for 2. Servings are generous.....well be back!
Speidie subs are a greasy mess! The people that are making subs obviously are in a rush. Its a shame because the speidies themselves are delish. The only way we would order from them again would be to get their speidies raw and make them ourselves.Another thing... this last time I got food from them I looked up their website and saw they closed at 9p, it was about 8:20p so I figured I better call and order ahead.. I tried calling until 845p about the time I arrived there and the phone was busy. I went in and ordered from one of the girls and told her I tried to call several times but no luck getting thru and she said they take the phone off the hook the last half hour or so... Whats the sense of being open until 9p if they are gonna ignore the phone orders?? Ridiculous!
This place has become our go-to Sunday lunch before heading back home from visiting our brother. The food is fantastic and the service is great. They recently moved from their little corner strip spot to their own standalone shop. The new building is gorgeous from the outside but the inside is where it really shines. Quite a difference from the last time we sat down in their establishment, but certainly well earned after 25 years of business! 10/10
This new location is AMAZING. I’m no longer local and I only come home a few times a year. I make sure to come to here every time I am back in town, sometimes 2-3 times. The Buffalo speedie salad is phenomenal and the ranch must be made with love. I absolutely recommend as a local fav.
Absolutely fantastic! I’ve always liked the Spiedie & Rib Pit, but since they’ve opened the new location (next to the old one, in the old Pizza Hut building), they have really stepped up their game. The remodel is exquisite and the food seems to taste even better! The staff is phenomenal; always friendly and efficient. As a teacher in the area for over 20 years, I really enjoy seeing my former students who work there. Keep up the great work!
First time in since they moved and remodeled. They did an excellent job. Love the look of the new place. More room to eat in if you choose, better area for carry out. Overall everything was great. Just a small note they did forget to put in the cookies that we ordered. My fault for not looking. Didnt want to go back. Will say something next time. Place looks great.
One of my favorite guilty pleasures. Their menu is start to finish mouthwatering delight. My personal weakness is the Spiedissimo with their fantastic fries. If you have the good fortune to find yourself anywhere in the area make sure not to pass them by as thats a regret no one should have. Thanks to all the awesome staff for making every visit a pleasure and allowing me to bring all the people I know to share in my addiction to your spectacular cuisine.
The food here is outstanding. I typically get the chipotle sandwich and french fries and love it. Service is very good. Theyre pretty quick and always pleasant. They could use more seating inside for when sitting outside isnt ideal. Also the outdoor seating is in the parking lot right next to a major road. Not ideal. But its absolutely worth it. We almost never drive through the area without stopping here. I really wish theyd open a location in Syracuse 😁.
Not very happy at this point. Ive always had good service, but tonight I had a six inch chicken spieid sub & greek chicken spieid salad without the chicken also very little in the sub. 😡 try calling for a half hour with no answer. The phone would just keep ringing. Well one hour later someone finally picked up the call.
Love the food but we can never get through to place an order. The phone just rings and rings or is busy. Tried their online ordering and it wouldnt go through. So unless were driving past we cant order. Im not really sure how they stay in business of they cant take orders online or over the phone.
Always been a fan at the old place ... But they have STEPPED UP THEIR GAME at the new spot. The interior is beautiful, they put a lot of work into it, and it looks great. The food was also amazing. I can usually polish anything off, but that Pulled Pork Sandwich was massive. Couldnt tackle it. My Gf had just as much trouble with the Dos Mios salad! So good! Great job guys!
Ordered a Dos Mios salad got home which is about 15 minutes away and I had no speidies in my salad when I called to tell them the manager says that’s weird I can refund the money for the speidiesi asked if I could just get another salad the next time I ordered and was told no I can only refund the money for the speidies will not return because of this
Spiedies are a hot topic in the Greater Binghamton area and I think this is one of the best options. A little different than some of the others in that the chicken is a little more chopped. This lets more of the marinade and juiciness stay in the meat and you dont get those large dried out pieces that some of the others tend to have. They allow for online ordering and take cards. The new location is so much bigger (just next door to the old) and really well done. You couldnt even tell it used to be a Pizza Hut if not for the outer shape. Plenty of parking, but the lot can be pretty packed. If you order inside, they give you a buzzer to be able to safely wait outside / in your car.
Same frustration with us as the other gentleman. TERRIBLE service and never I mean never answer the phone. My husband and I have loved and been faithful to this business for over 20 years but not any longer. We have overlooked a lot of bad attitudes and never being able to order takeout ever since they opened new location. Literally called from 3 cell phones over 50 times for over an hour and nothing. Crickets..... except a lame attempt on their voicemail to redirect you to order online. Which by the way.... also doesn’t work. So now we have an online system and employees not working but me who is really hungry , begging to give my 4 pounds and 6 sandwich order to anyone who will pick up the phone! But again, no, negative, nada. No food for us. So...... fair-well Spiedie and rib pit. Officially ending our 25 year relationship. What a shame. Sounds like a lot of other people have the same problem. Sure wish they cared!!!
Oh my Goodness!☆☆☆☆☆♡♡ We have been coming here for the 25 years its been open. Beat and biggest sandwich everI love the Greek chicken species on pitas so delicious. I do miss the chocolate caramel dipped pretzels but the chocolate chip cookies are one of the best recipes.
Ordered and paid for a large Greek chicken spiedie salad. Was told the order would be ready at 12:50, I arrived at 12:55 and not only was it not ready but they hadnt even started it. I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. When I got home and went to eat it the chicken spiedies were not cooked all the way through and they didnt give me the extra dressing that I ordered and paid for. I ended up throwing it out. I went on line and made a complaint and absolutely nothing was done. I did not get a reply or phone call. Very disappointing
Definitely not the usual rating for this beloved place we loved to eat at. The subs came out wrapped with so much greasy spedie sauce that the paper was dripping, the roll was soaked and ended up having to eat with fork and knife. Even then clothes ended up with oil spots. Very disappointed in what used to be a definite 5 star every time.
The cleanliness of this place leaves a lot to be desired. Most of the tables had either garbage or spilled liquids on them or on the floor near them. Sticky and icky. The food itself was well received, even after a 20 minute wait for the Rib Dinner. Very tender ribs. The fries were alright, but the ketchup on the table tasted pretty bad, like an unsupervised child put salt and pepper in the bottle.
I had the takeout ‘spiedissimo’ pork spiedie, which comes with sauteed peppers and onions, and provolone cheese slices. The marinade, along with the juices from the vegetables and the pork, had seeped into the bun along with the melted provolone, so it was a messy sandwich to handle. I went all-out with the napkins to my goatee. The spiedissimo was very, very good, so good it could make a vegan cheat. The new location has more space for parking (always welcome in the era of covid takeout) and the larger grill / kitchen allows for your order to be prepared more quickly than was the case at the older location. The excellence of the speidies, the large portion size and affordable pricing ($9 for a footlong) confirm for me that the Spiedie and Rib Pit has the best spiedies in Binghamton.
Though I hadnt been there in years, the food did not disappoint, and they looked busier than I remember them being in the past, which is always a good sign. Spiedies were amazing as expected and I almost shot all over the underside of one of the tables having had the good foresight to order the hot wings. A+
Passing through town on our way back from a race at Greek Peak, we found the staff friendly and helpful to us first-timers! The young gal at the counter took time to explain what the menu all meant, and we got our food fast. Everything tasted great, and there was a steady stream of people and full booths, so clearly others agree. Great job!
Weve been stopping here on our way back and forth from Annapolis for 24 years..... just discovered their new, much larger and improved restaurant, located right next door. This was the BEST chicken speidie ever today! We will comtinue the tradition for sure, as will our son and his family, when they come up to visit.
Im visiting from out of town. This was not just one of the best meals Ive had on vacation, but on of the best meals Ive had at a restaurant. The chicken was cooked beautifully and the seasoning was on point. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. They are doing such a great job that there was a steady stream of customers leaving happy. Keep it up guys.Bryce and Gayle from AZ.
Excellent service with an upgraded location with the Binghamton culinary specialty: Spiedies! If you havent tried Spiedies, marinated meat in a garlic-herb sauce, grilled on skewers, and served in a sub, you are missing out! One of the best, if not the best places to get Spiedies when traveling through Greater Binghamton.
Never spend ten minutes.... called ahead for $20.00 order of wings. Thirty five minutes after initial call I was given the food. Been more than a few times to buy food during second shift and have never felt welcomed... young employees who can run a register and cook food but lack in people skills. You should feel good to support local business but maybe somewheres else of you want friendly employees. I give two stars only because it is a local owned business and the wings are good.
This place is fabulous. Super fast, super good, very reasonable. My wife picks up a spiedie to share (we like the Philly style with peppers and onions) on her way home from teaching. Last night she brought home not only the macaroni salad and potato salad - which are both excellent, but also some Rice Pudding. WOW - that was fantastic. Very smooth, very soft. Yum. Do not be put off by the location, or even the tiny hole-in-the-wall appearance. This place is worth stopping for.
Small place, food was very tasty, and generous portions. I had a chicken spiedie gyro. Excellent Flavor! Counter person, not so friendly and we explained it was our first-time there. She appeared rushed, but there was not alot of people there. There are a few tables but it seems to be more take out, but I could be wrong. Not food to eat while driving.
I liked it. The chicken was too salty, but otherwise very good taste. I got there about 45 minutes before they closed an left with the distinct impression that I wasnt winning any popularity contest for being so late. When I told the counter person that I was a firs=timer, she quickly handed me off to another. She was busy? And my food was packaged to go without asking me. Whatever. If it were within 10 miles of my home I would try again, but Binghamton is a depressing area and it is unlikely I will visit that pert of the world again.
Beautiful new location but after 5 consecutive mediocre-to-bad sandwiches its clear theyve adapted and now consistently store their cooked speidies too long before serving. Fries are still great and taste made-too-order but now speidies are always slightly tough & dry and taste like over-salted cubes of meat cooked a while ago. Looks like Ill have to start driving way out to Endicott again to the only pay-1st place in the area that does not overcook ther speidies in prolonged 140° storage )o:
I Called at 1:00pm on February 12th to place a sizeable pickup order for 8 people for a 4:15pm pickup for a 5:00pm committee meeting. I arrived at 4:10pm paid for the order and then waited 20 minutes. It was not busy. There only were customers eating their food at three tables and there were 3 other customers waiting for to go orders. There were 8-10 staff milling around talking, 2 cooks preparing food and a staff at the register. When I arrived at the meeting there were items missing from the order. I called and the person who answered stated that they couldnt help me and to call back another time. There were 4 people at the meeting who ordered spiedie subs and could not eat them because the rolls were soaking wet. Two of three people that ordered cheese steak subs had giant pieces of peppers too large to eat. I went to the restaurant and asked to talk to a manager and explained the situation to him. He offered to give me the missing items. I told him it was for people at the meeting and would rather have the purchase price refunded and he agreed. He said he wouldnt be able to comp any of the order even though the subs were unedible because that is how they make their spiedie subs. I told him that in the 25 years they have been in business as their sign says I have never had a soggy roll or Pita whether I ordered to go or stayed to eat. He stated they cook the spiedies ahead and then place them in hot marinade. I said when you take a char grilled item and then put it in hot liquid it then changes it to a boiled product and that is disgusting. He also stated that you wouldnt want to order the spiedies dry because they would be too dry. Instead order the sub and make sure to let them know to(get this) shake the spiedies so the marinade doesnt get the roll soggy. He stated they have always cooked and served their spiedies that way. I said I have waited for my spiedie subs and watched the cooks take the spiedies off the the open fire char grill and put it on the roll. Just be aware that their spiedies taste boiled now.
Everything was great, bread, meat, speedie seasoning on meat. Except that I saw they werent wearing hairnets when I was there and one of their hairs fell into my sandwich, which I pulled out before discarding the pieces touching someone elses hair in my Sandwich. The onions, and bell peppers tasted like they had been frozen, and one way or the other the maintenance of proper food preparation needs to be checked there. This place could be fantastic if effort was put through into the workplace.
This has long been my favorite place to get Spiedies but recently the food quality and customer service has been lacking. They dont answer their phones when you try to call orders in and their website doesnt work when you try to place an order. Menu items are consistently out of stock. This is a real shame because I know the potential this place has.

2022-04-30Food was quick, and it was fine. Nothing particularly fantastic about it, but it was good enough. The bread on our sandwiches was very oily from the sandwich. A little bit for a rub is fine, but the amount on these was over the top. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Staff was polite.

2022-04-28Being from the Midwest I had never heard of a spiedie before and decided I had to try one. I opted for the Buffalo version of this Binghamton sandwich and was pleasantly surprised by the chargrilled chicken! Great flavors. We also had to get the deep fried Brussels sprouts. They were a tad bit oily, but that happens with deep fried foods!! We were happily greeted right as we entered and the young, high school aged kid helping was super friendly. Loved the decor too. If I’m ever back in NY I’ll stop by again.

2022-03-15This place is amazing! If you are just driving by, or if you are a local, this is a must stop! The nachos, the salads, and oh yeh, the spiedies. Even the burgers are good! Amazing upgrade, new facility opened next door, great dining room, modern look! Friendly staff, Nothing bad to say!

2022-02-06Our second time at this Spiedie place.I have the Buffalo chicken spiedie salad and it was delish. The lettuce was crisp and fresh. The chicken was tasty. The Roasted Brussel Sprouts was good but it was quite oily on the bottom. Fries were good

2021-09-07This was my first time here and have never been at their old location either, but from what I can see its a huge upgrade! I love the style inside and out and their food was AMAZING! Just thinking about it makes me want to go get some for dinner right now! I got the Caprese! My boyfriend did say that their take home containers didnt have as many options as they use to and it did seem like they might have been cleaned out a little but it could have just been that busy of a day. I will 100% be coming back here and would also like to note that even though the staff was busy they were all very nice. They also kept the place clean and I saw someone wiping down the tables and chairs.

2021-09-23Quick stop off 81. First time in. Not only is the place clean and adorable, the “speediest” are absolutely delish. The Greek speedier on the flatbread was drippy and so flavorful with large chunks of smoked chicken. The Rib-eye steak sandwich was packed with meat and just the right amount of onions and cheese. Service was totally welcoming, smiley, and kind. Worth making the stop!!!!

2021-12-24Stopped for a half rack of St Louis style ribs at 1130.Restaurant is very clean and the dining area is well appointed.Ribs were disappointing, no smoke flavor and over sauced for my liking. The ribs were a little over cooked possible day old. The meat was not moist and had no rendered fat coming out of the meat. They are cooked competition style, which is a plus. I will give it another try at some point. Maybe just an off day or time.No wet naps on the condiment bar.Went back and tried a full rack. I ordered dry, sauce on the side. Disappointing flavor, still no smoke flavor, basically roasted. I dont know why they are called pit ribs, seems to misleading based on my pit bbq experiences.

2021-11-02On a normal night I would easily give them 5 stars. But this night I ordered Mac n cheese. For almost 4$ I got a tiny cup which contained maybe 5 bites of inedible food. Was crusted and dry. The subs and sandwiches and Brussel sprouts were amazing as usual, but certainly will not waste the funds on the Mac and cheese again
