We have eaten here around 5 times. We havent had a bad meal yet. Service and food are excellent .
3 Star only because last 3 times I have tried getting breakfast to go it hasnt been able to do???? I see if your busy what not but Im calling Im asking for 3 eggs, some home fries, toast and gravy with bacon??? simple to make I am not taking up a table I am social distancing myself by not coming in and sitting at a table and eating. BUT I cannot get service so I figure the 10 minutes it takes to make this and hand it to me 3 times has lost them 45 bucks. Love the food but I guess I will go to Grams
Friendly people, fast service, great food. Bar tender Bree was outgoing and Kayla (Bar Manager) made sure we were taken care of. Garage doors were open on a hot summer night. Great experience! Highly recommend.
Fantastic crew. Weve only eaten there twice, but both times for excellent. If it wasnt so far from home, we would eat there more often.
Impressively loud for midday. Plenty of parking but getting out can be tricky. Very large bar with ample room for your plates and drinks. Clean bathrooms, though they were a bit chilly compared to the rest of the establishment. Took a couple minutes for someone to acknowledge me, but she was nice and accommodating.For the food. Wings were plump and juicy, and no soft spots in the meat telling me they cooked this for a proper amount of time. Skin was crispy, sauce was super sticky and was among the best Mango Habaneros Ive had; could find both flavours in the sauce, which you cant always say. Only real complaint is the taste of the actual meat was slightly...cheap, but only on the real fat drums was this noticable.Fries not shown in picture were all sorts of tasty, and were just as good after a few hours in the fridge. 16 bucks for wings, fries and a drink wasnt a bad deal and I left stuffed... not something you can say about a wing meal often.

Im sad to say, not the best.Me and my parents saw advertisement of this place on TV and wanted to try it out. I ordered the Cowboy burger, my dad the fried haddock and my mom the sirloin steak. My burger was good but it didnt have the chicken tenders that the menu said it would have, I didnt say anything about it as Ive been having some customer service issues recently and I was afraid of another argument. I tasted some of my parents food, the fried haddock was nicely fried but it did taste over cooked. The fish wasnt bad but it was bland. My moms sirloin was also not badly cooked, but it also tasted rather bland. And her mashed potatoes were completely mashed either as she pointed out. I noticed my parents pouring a ton of salt and pepper on top of each piece they ate as there wasnt much flavor to them. The fries that I got seemed left over from lunch as they were like eating potato chips, it seemed to me that this place doesnt make fresh fries for each order which was too bad as the fries werent bad otherwise, they just tasted like they were prepared earlier today and then just barely reheated for my order.So the food was a disappointingly so so. But otherwise, the place was nice and clean, the waitress was very nice, overall it wasnt awful, and granted we arrived later in the day on a Sunday but still thats not a reason not to make good food.Maybe if we arrived at an earlier time on a different day it wouldve been better but from our current experience we might not be returning.

If your ever near Watertown/Adams you have to try this place. It has a really cool relaxed atmosphere. They have two big garage doors in the bar area that they open on nice days and also outdoor seating. Weve always gotten good service when we went here. Yesterday was Monday so they had Doz Clams for 7, and we also had the Rachelle Pizza. The crust was nice and crisp, with a white base, broccoli, red peppers, mozzarella and ricotta with pesto. Definitely would reccomend it!

I suggested to my friend to have dinner here. I was so humiliated I did. Service was horrendous. Everyone who was seated after us had ordered and eaten before we got our meal. We waited one hour for a baked fish dinner and a grilled cheese sandwich. The wait staff needs extensive training in proper attire, common sense and common courtesy. So rude and utterly clueless. People just dont want to work anymore these days and it shows! If there was ZERO stars,that would be my rating. Dont think I will ever go back!

The service was really good, but the food was just not that great. I had the fried haddock and there was so much breading on it and it was over fried. It had no flavor and was just not good. The onions on my salad were really strong also. My daughter wanted the crispy chicken bacon ranch wraps. When they came out, they didnt have bacon or ranch on them. She did fix those. The fries had way too much salt and the broccoli was nasty. They tasted like they had too much garlic and butter in them. Mt husband did like their burger. $15 for my plate and $12 for my daughters plate. The food wasnt good and definitely overpriced. We wont go back there again.

Beef on wick was very bad, bartender was ok, if you dont mind the f-bomb. Customers and bartender used it often and loud. The music was very loud. Restaurant itself was clean and nice looking. There are two rooms a dining room and bar. I would suggest the dining room. I probably wont be visiting again.

Breakfast food is great. In my experience, bartenders will serve their friends first even if you were waiting longer.
I wasnt impressed. We got there at 645 and was seated and never got our meal til 8:10. One member of our party never got their salad until we pointed it out. When our meal finally came out my steak wasnt even close to done. I asked for it well done and it was definitely medium as blood was still running out of it and was pink once you cut into it. Time we got my meal back the fries were stale and cold. Im not usually one to complain but the ball was definitely dropped last night. Listened to the other table next to us get a discount because it took so long. Definitely could have used more staff I think. Our waitress seemed to be trying to do take out and wait on most of the tables in the dining room. We will have to try again another time. The place was definitely clean and covid protocals followed but they werent keeping up last night.
Beef on Weck was marginally good. It was not prime rib, rather, deli-style roast beef that was rather tough n lacking in flavor. Roll was good, as was the au jus. I would not order again. Seems like a fun bar and perhaps other items are tastier. Waitstaff very nice.
Great food with a home-cooked taste.
I was hungry so I got the stuffed french toast, and smothered home fries with orange juice for 22$ the amount of food I got could have been 30$ anywhere else. And it was all delicious. Couldnt get it in me fast enough. Friends didnt spend more than 15$.
Drove 45 minutes out of our way with my family to go here for brunch because their website says they serve breakfast/brunch until noon. Got there at 1145 and was told they are done serving . Also we cant even order lunch until 1230 . Apparently they are the only restaurant that shuts down between breakfast and lunch. I will never be back there.
We went to Spook Hill Wednesday August 11, service and food were excellent as usual, but the music by the guitar player was so loud we were unable to talk or communicate with the waitress. I asked him to turn it down, he did for a short time but then he turned it back up. Overall not a good experience, we will go again but not if the music is that loud.

Went to bar to have a drink on all hallows eve.. Wasnt what we expected. Was a little disappointed.... Obviously was super packed for holiday but we watched the bartenders serve people who stood there after us before us. Didnt even finish our drink and left.

Been for lunch 2x , rode our bikes. foodwas decent, menu choices were plentiful. But we as motorcycle riders picked up in that odd vibe ..that implies who are you? Let me give you a dam tip- start a chat with a smile. Dont stare like we are imploding on your turf. It dont go well with lunch.

We had never been here for breakfast and a customer at the restaurant where I worked suggested we try it. And we were not disappointed at all!! The food was delicious and more than enough of a portion size. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Very nice atmosphere. The raspberry white chocolate waffles were to die for!!
My husband and I had breakfast there a few times now. Its always been good except for this morning. My order came with homefries. Some were burned and others were spoiled. My husband had pancakes and on was sitting on the grill way too long. My sandwich was on a bagel and it was grilled on the grill. I know because I could taste it. We had to ask for more coffee.When it was time for the check I had to get up and get it. My server was too busy talking to friends in the corner booth. Well think twice about going back.
We really enjoy Spookhill Bar and Grill. We have always been pleased with everything we have ordered. Most of the time it comes out ready before the time they tell you. Indoor and outdoor seating weather permitted is a big plus. The prices are very reasonable. The menu seems to have something for everyone. I highly recommend checking them out!

Great service, yummy sandwiches. Turkey reuben and turkey melt had real turkey, like shaved off the breast. Bread could have been grilled a bit more. Fair prices. Mac & cheese was tasty as well, not soupy, right amount of cheese, not bland at all -- could have been hotter but will stop again.
We tried Spookhill for breakfast after a friend recommended it! Wow! Just wow! It was fantastic! Great service, huge portions and taste was amazing!! Do yourself a favor; if you order the sweet topping pancakes, just get one! They are so rich and you do not need syrup either! Wow! Everything was so tasty!!! Make this your new breakfast spot!
Service and food was good! Only thing I disliked was too noisy when full of people need better sound absorbing material inside dining area.

Love it here but dont order anything deep-fried at night because they will burn it over and over and over again the bar is awesome but the kitchen staff needs some help for 2 people to eat around 65 dollars or more per visit they need to step it up
The food is always good, but the service is absolutely atrocious in the bar area by the bartender. She’ll walk by the table numerous times and see empty drinks. Always having to walk up to the bar to get refills or to even order food. Or my favorite when she ask the men at the table for refills but disregards the females.
If you are looking for a place with poor service and cold food, this is the place! 6 of us arrived at 1:30 and finally left at 3:15. 3 of us had burgers and they were warm, at best. 1 of these was supposed to be medium/well done and was medium rare. 1 person had a pulled pork sandwich and it was only warm. He was supposed to have mac and cheese with it and they told him as he was finally served they were out so here are fries. 1 person waited over 20 minutes for a beer and finally got it after asking a 3rd time. It was over an hour before they checked to see if we wanted anything else to drink while we were still waiting for our meals.It was our 2nd visit...the first was a little better, but service was slow that time also. To sum it up, we wont be returning.
Very good meal. Nice atmosphere. I appreciated that the Salmon special was offered in 2 sizes. The specials are listed on a large white board just inside the door. We are looking forward to going back to try breakfast.
I had a terrific patty melt and onion rings and my wife had the bare bones burger and fries. We also split poutine. All excellent. The wait staff was cheerful and good. The dining room is clean, comfortable, and not crowded.

My mother and I stopped by for lunch and ordered the chicken bacon ranch and the bleu burger. Both were overcooked, burger was burnt and the chicken was slightly burnt. The French fries were good along with the service. Love the word pictures in the womens bathroom😁. Nice place but food needs a little extra love.

My husband and I chose this business on a whim, in need of food and wishing to avoid the traditional fast food options. While the drive was a bit out of our way, it was well worth exploring. The building was inviting and cute, with the option to dine outside (covered patio) or inside (air conditioned). The service was on point, with quick seating and drink orders and friendly attentive staff. The menu contained an array of delicious and unique options. I was especially happy to see Chicken Riggies on the menu (an upstate New York delicacy that was amazingly executed- in my opinion, better than Delmonicos). Finally, the decorations throughout contained both humor and beauty (We enjoyed the bathroom artwork). To sum up this long review, we wish we lived near this restaurant, as it would easily become a family tradition. Thank you Spook Hill (especially Tiffany) for making us feel like family :)
Are mushroom soup was think creamy with lots of mushroom and great floor. It was like a mushroom stew. The bar tenders was very proud of the place and boasted about the events the food and the manager. its not often you hear such positive thing from an employee. .Not only is it a great place to eat, it has a great atmosphere for both dining and bar area, large enough for events, but it sounds like a great place to work too. Cudos to the manager owners and staff! Great experience for a Sunday afternoon!

Weve visited a few times and enjoyed each of them. Seperate bar and dinning areas make it nice for families but food is served in the bar area if you enjoy that atmosphere. Food was good to very good although the menu is simple food. The service was excellent. Definitely recommend

Went for brunch. Theyve got some serious brunch competition with grams diner a mile away. Similar to grams with 4 specials. Quantity of food was there, especially for the price. Quality though was just typical breakfast grub. Grams elivates just a bit more and still holds the edge for best brunch in Adams.

Everything on the menu is fabulous. Ive had the club, the haddock, the beef on weck. ALL SO GOOD! My friends had the burger, the blt, the rueben. Its great quality, thick cut meat.the fries are in the top 5 of the best Ive ever had. The bar tenders have always been great. Its my favorite.

Fantastic food. The menu has a wide variety from A-pptiszers to Z esty main meals, daily. Try the pot roast or zesty pizzas, at fair prices. Family dining room or bar tables, kids are welcomed.

Fish fry, fish was undercooked but hot and Mac/cheese was barely warm, Cole slaw portion was tiny. Very unsatisfied with our meal. Service was great, as always.

Waited over 2 hours on a Thursday night to get a burger a wrap and hot wings as an appetizer with my wife was told going to be a slightly longer than normal wait after sitting for over a hour and a half was told our food would be out shortly sat there for about another 30 minutes before finally deciding to leave hungry will never go to this restaurant or tavern ever again and I live 5 minutes up the road

2022-02-19Amazing Staff, Friendly atmosphere, super food, You definitely get more than you expect when ordering from this establishment. I have never had a bad or substandard meal from here. Even something as simple as a grilled cheese sandwich tastes like a gourmet meal.

2022-05-13It was my first visit to Spook Hill as a bar/restaurant, though I had heard many good things about it. The service was terrible. I couldnt tell you about the food because I never got it. I ordered a shrimp appetizer but over an hour later, it never came. I was with a large party who made reservations. Everybody else had already finished eating while I still waited for my shrimp appetizer.It is probably an OK place to get a drink but I dont recommend eating there.

2022-05-25I will say its the best breakfast youll get in Adams right here. Wouldnt have thought that for a second. Stuffed french toast was out of this world. Took my mom there too and she was over the moon about it. I just wish I could say the same for lunch and dinner.

2022-06-14Me and our friends had the Sunday breakfast , the four of us had a great breakfast the one didnt ,he got an omlet with cheese and the wrapper was left on and he had hot sausage and the hot sausage wasnt fully cooked all the way it was raw in the center thats really the only complaint we have...

2022-06-14IT WAS AMAZING! LEEA OUR WAITRESS WAS OUTSTANDING! THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND VERY REASONABLE. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS SUPER NICE! If we could We would give it aTENI would Highly recommend it 👌

2022-06-19The food was pretty good and the service was very friendly and efficient.The rude (exaggerated belching, loud talking/swearing, etc) bikers at the next table were distracting but it is a biker bar type of place.
