We spent an hour here on a Sunday. Didnt need much more time. No wait at all for the rides. My daughters even rode alone twice on one of them. They do not enforce any covid precautions at all, there was no hand sanitizers, barely any face masks and no one wiping down the frequently touched areas.Food was served quickly and was ok.
My son luvs the air guns, ball pit n tunnels. I luv that they have Ms Pac man! Its $10 to get a wristband for the pit n tunnels alone... so bring a couple bucks with u. They do have an atm tho hahaha overall good place to kill a few hours n the kids can wear down some
The variety of arcade games and competitive vending activities suited our high school students very well.We took over 100 seniors the day before their graduation during a pandemic year and they played and smiled for 4 hours. The food was enjoyable for them, they loved the rides and laser tag, and collaborated with their friends to amalgamate the prize coupons for a class gift! The bumper cars, batting cages, and pool tables were overused by them! It was an affordable and fun way to safely contain 100 + students with abundant energy. The staff were friendly and professional, the machines and games were clean! A nice time with fun had by all, even the staff enjoyed themselves!
This place is incredible from the staff to the attractions to the affordable prices for birthday room everything was just great! I had my son birthday party here and everyone enjoyed it. By the end of the night all I heard was how much fun and cool this place was. Definitely will be returning soon! Thank you SPORTIME USA for wonderful service.
It was a great experience. We had our little guys birthday there and Arelie the manager was very accommodating and her people skills are great. Jay was our host and she was great as well, very patient with the kids, and she has an awesome personality. Thank you guys, my son had a great experience. We will definitely be coming back and also booking events.
This is a pretty good place for all ages. Fun indoor rides that were good even for adults. Nothing too intense since its indoors but still a great ride. Fun games, though some of them didnt work and the employees were not all that helpful. Kind of expensive as the games will take up a lot of your money really fast.
Terrible!!!... Only good thing about this place is the nostalgia that it gives to at the door. Everything else is broken, out of order or simply falling apart. Lazer tag is small with the technology form 1983 which broke on me 5 times in the same 15 minute game, the batting cage is missing bats and helmets and also broke mid batting, then they toke half an hour of me screaming and yelling for them to finally show up to help and after that they still didnt fix it and did not give me a refund of even an apology. I am never retuning to this place. And do yourself a favor and dont waste your time and energy by going there youll just get upset.
This arcade has been around forever. Plenty of memories coming here as a child, and its still a really good time. I was a little sad to see it lacking classics like PacMan and Street Fighter however. That being said, it has a decent miss of classic shooter and racing arcade games, and a fair mix of newer stuff as well. Definitely worth a visit.
Nice place, my family and I had a overall very good time. Theirs a lot to do at this place. From laser tag, videos games to batting cages. Overall decent prices for the activities and food.... Unfortunately the only bad part was the front desk area. The line pretty long with only 1 register open. The front desk employee looked annoyed and wasnt very pleasant to interact with.
A bit aged and in need of more drastic renovation then seems likely, its still a solid arcade and one of the last in the area. The batting cage is a good option to take some less expensive swings then other cages (though is sometimes wildly inaccurate). Good selection of games and activities. A bit expensive.
We took our youth group here for laser tag and arcade games. We rented out laser tag for 2 hours and afterward that probably was longer than we needed as the arcade would have also been fun for a long time. The laser tag arena is a decent size, not the largest in Westchester but still good enough for less than 12 people. The arcade was also pretty fun with a good variety of games to play. There are also other attractions like go-carts, batting cages, and a cafe. The only minor complaint we had was that the cafe was a bit expensive for what we were getting. Also, the seating area didnt feel as clean as we would have liked but we didnt spend much time in the area anyway. This place is pretty great for kids, parties, or youth groups. The kids might get bored if they are a little older but there is definitely enough here to keep everyone entertained.
Super fun place for kids. Went when I was younger and just took my nieces recently and they had a ton of fun too. Seems like less arcade stuff than ten years ago, but they have other attractions that make up for it. You wont get much in terms of prizes, but its more about having a good time anyway.
It was fun, but a quick experience. We played laser tag (the guy running it was excellent!) And bought 150 tickets for 2 of us. We ran through them and played laser tag in under and hour. Its a fun kitscht one time thing, but I would waste my money to keep going back. The location is good and there is a ton of parking. Staff seems to mostly stay off of the floor. I will say I felt the need for hand sanitizer.
We had two staff members on duty the entire time we were there. The place seems like fun however be careful if your kids play the games that you win tickets, the machines will give you less than what is displayed on the screen. All of the stuffed animal claw games are rigged. It is a disgrace to see this operation actually running. I failed to mention that they have prizes that are straight from the 99 cent store. You can buy an entire 99 cent store with the money you spend at this place. Honestly, dave and buster has a much nicer feel and the games are up to date and have more rounds per credit.
I ABSOLUTELY love this place! My sisters birthday party was here and the host was amazing! The games were awesome and we all got to go on the Superfly ride, which my sister LOVED! Especially the laser tag was awesome the staff was super nice and helpful! We got gamecards and played a lot of games,( i had come here a couple years ago and i definitely had much more fun this time around)! I Would definitely come back again!
Kids love it but its a sad, worn out place. They have the latest, new tech games but they somehow look broken down and worn...in a handful of cases the games are actually broken which is disappointing. All in all, a nice place to go once in a while but after a being there for some time you just want to get out of there. Heck even the people that work there dont hide the fact that they dont want to be there. Expensive, sad, but kids will have fun.
Fun for the whole family. I came here when I was a growing up and now I get to share that experience with my own children. Arcade games, rides, laser tag, rock climb and adventure ball pit. Kids have fun winning tickets and trading them in for prizes. They offer kids party from multiple pricing tiers.
A classic arcade in the area thats been around for decades. For the adults there are pool tables and batting cages. For the kids, plenty to do in the arcade. Party rooms available and food is reasonable in the snack bar. Plenty of parking and close to major roads and parkways.
For kids, they will likely enjoy it. Its one of the few places in the area where you can go on rides during the winter, although they are rather tame. There is one intense pendulum ride, which you should be aware makes you dizzy. The batting cages are good and prices are reasonable. However, now that I am an adult I find it less interesting. If you can, I would instead recommend the Funplex in East Hanover, NJ. Their rides are more awesome and its bigger and the stored-value cards can be used for everything there; you dont need separate tickets for the rides (from what I recall).
When I first went here in my twenties this place rocked. Now that I have kids the place is over crowded with different things in one place. Over priced for a family of two. The machine take your money and the have cheaper prizes then Chuck E. Cheese. I miss the good old family places where family was the priority. Not beer or wine.
The place is Great old fashioned Fun for Kids, think Rye Playland, an excellent place for a large Birthday party and reasonably priced however parts are a bit run down, a bit dirty and at times frequented by less then desirable neighbors. Adjust your expectations accordingly and you will have a Great time.
My girlfriend and I are closer to 30 than 20... we grew up around old school arcades and laser tag. This place reminds us of that! Tons of fun, great facilities, a million things to do and its really cheap to boot (lots of unlimited deals... you can do bumper cars, laser tag and batting cages all day for $30). Worth a visit... it made our day!
Hey I saw a transaction in your parking lot the other day. Maaannnnn I love you guys but you know youre stuff is destroyed. That poor mechanic. This is a strange place because its a legitimate arcade but its everything from like 1997 so everything is broken, forget anything about getting or redeeming tickets. 1 guy works there. How are you still in business? Yet, please dont close? Same carpet since it opened. You get the idea.
This is so amazing and just a good place to have birthdays, surprises, kids, its just a miracle. And I love the bumper cars.BUT...Although another ride called the Super Fly almost killed me.It goes High to the sky, children screaming,my glasses even flew off,I was bouncing up when it went to the ceiling. Its still an awesome place located in New Rock City in New Jersey takes about an hour or two but its a terrific place! Just had my friends birthday here aswell!
I want to start my review by saying Thanks a lot to Sportime USA staff. This place is amazing! My son Brandon who turned 7 in January od 2016 had his birthday party at Sportime USA. I dont even know where to start because everything was great. We had about 21 kids in the party from the start the host was extremedly friendly to the kids and very attentive to the parents and all guests. She was very organized. She started greeting all of them at the door and directing them into the party room. The party room was very nice and we had very good space. Host helped us with coats and all since they even had a spot for that. Kids had their food first which was very good and convenient to get it from the same place. After eating the host explained the kids what they were doing right after that. I have to tell you all those kids were so happy when she said they were going to the Lazer Tag. I did not go in the Lazer tag but all the kids came out extremedly happy and with a lot of exciment. After that they were to the bumb cars and you had to see their faces...their smiles, they were just enjoying all so much. My son seem so happy that his friends were loving this place and his birthday actually turned out to be one of the best and best of what he could of imagine. They also got a game card that the host gave to all of them with money to play arcade games and OMG they just felt like they had just won a prize, and after playing the arcades from each machine they got tickets were they actually do collect a prize which they get to choose from the prize store. I have to say that this has been the best of all the Birthdays my son had and he had it in many places before but Sportime USA is excellent for all ages and the kids really enyoy it. The price of everything is very considerable and is worth paying for it. This place is amazing and their staff makes it even better. The management of this place is very on top of making sure the guests enjoy themselfs. Also SAFETY was a a mayor concern to them which as a parent made me feel with no streess of mind. I would highly recommed this place if you are thinking of having a party or even just to go for fun.PS: Their parking lot is huge and location is very convenient for the area.
Not many arcades these days so not many in the local to compare to but for an average arcade with indoor batting Fields not bad but not stand out either for the kids it works for a die hard arcade however Kate to update the latest titles vending machine and on site good astronomical markup staff friendly and likes to make the kids happy good pricing for bday parties... Empty during the week days and most evenings weekends are a different story.
Great place for young kids special in winter time when you locking for inside places ,most of the machine are kind of old and some of them doesn’t work, bathrooms can be improved if they will clean them more oftenIf you come on weekend it’s usually crowded over all my son had a good time and that’s the most important thing
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. RAMPANT THEFT. We just went to a birthday party there and my son’s coat was stolen, right from the party room. The staff there just simply shrug shoulder- telling us it happens frequently and there is nothing they can do. The place is very poorly managed, they put several different parties in same party room. Terrible place.
Sportime, sportime, sportime. Where do we begin, for starters they dont care if an arcade machine is in horrible condition as long as it works. Next, the owner doesnt really care about the place and it has fallen into disrepair over the lost couple years. Finally, the reason I put 2 stars is the food there is decent. All in all, would not reccomend to anyone. Once camps stop renting the place out its over for that arcade.
Ive been here before with a few friends and i had a lot of fun and i came there like a few more times and had fun and i loved the place I played so many new fun games and i won tickets and then I used the tickets for some prizes and it was awsome I hope who goes there has alot of fun too.
Well I want to start with saying I have been here plenty of times but yesterday night the staff that was there Saturday May 28th 2016 were amazing my family had a blast my son my niece and nephew had a great time. The staff were very helpful and attentive in helping the kids that were there thanks a million sportstime usa for having such a great staff

2022-04-02Its an OK place. More for like younger kids. Alot of machines werent working and the ones did were barely working. Not sure if they do a daily check to see what works or not. Soft play for toddlers is $15

2022-05-20I use to come here when I was in high school. When we worked here we actually worked and helped customers . This place is ran by kids. A lot of games don’t work and they don’t give the correct tickets. I played a machine with my son that allows you to get tickets . I had 2 receipts for over 1000 tickets. I went to turn them in an the little girl said it’s not 1000 it’s 14…… LMFAOOO. Never again then she said she couldn’t help me. Asked for the manager and asked him how do you have children working here. It got unprofessional when a Spanish woman who look like the cleaning lady came up front to talk to the little girl and made an issue of my complaint . I went back to the manager and he absolutely was not the rite person for management . He did not know how to handle this situation and I will nvr bring my son back there . I also was told they were relocating maybe or hopefully in a better area. Hopefully older workers and better management operating the new location will provide better games for the kids. Ghetto !!

2017-08-09Ample parking in an enormous parking lot walk in & your surrounded by wall to wall entertainment. Everything from batting cages to pool tables. All types of video games both old & new. Food options are pretty good pizza, burgers, fries, onion rings etc. great place to spend a few hours with the family.

2022-02-20My God. I was in the area and decided to just take a look. I havent been there in 25 years..... Man the memories! The batting cages are the same! I miss the old virtual reality booth immediately to the right of the entrance. Good times there!

2022-04-13Its okay for school field trips really, one-on-one with the kids probably if youre one-on-one with a kid or have your own kids warning the games tend to be taken over by camps and field trip kids that are unsupervised and pushy the food is not that great either but its for the kids n they enjoy it so 4/5 ill bring them back probably on the weekends

2022-04-15Many games were broken or not working. Some game needed manual fix during game play. Paying mechanism does not work well, more than 18 credits were deducted from card but not given credit to play. All arcade games need maintenance of some sort and theyre not being up kept.

2021-11-10Sportime is great. Its got a great old school vibe, theyve upgraded with a couple high tech big rides but mostly its funky stuff. A lot of love in the room. Lots of parties for the kids. All different kinds of people with smiles on their faces. Highly recommended. Batting cages, Lazer tag and an isolated billiard room with excellent prices too.

2021-09-13We threw a birthday party for our 5 year old daughter here this past weekend and we had a great time! Our party host Jay was super helpful, kind and fun. She helped us set up the party room and kept our kids and guests engaged and entertained. We live nearby so it was super convenient! We will be going back again soon!

2018-03-20This review is purely for the batting cages. Great games for the kids on the other side of the venue and have nothing against that.I would not recommend this batting cage for any player above tee-ball. The cage balls themselves are so darkened from dirt/grime it’s a guessing game on finding the pitch. Add this to a dark backdrop and it becomes a dangerous activity. They also changed the coin system so that you must use 2 coins at a time before the pitching machine begins. It tosses you 24 pitches and by the 24th it’s a good cardio workout with not much time in between to work on mechanics.$20 gets you 4 tokens which is only 2 rounds in the cage.Again see the pictures, 95% of the balls in the cage are camouflaged too well against the backdrop.
