Got to let people know to go ANYWHERE ELSE - On multiple occasions I can see my lab work has come through however Im unable to see my results due to the disorganised back end at sports medicine. The reception staff are rude, unhelpful and project absolutely ZERO human understanding. I have had to harass to get my lab work results WEEKS after screenings.
Shady, scammy, glitchy payment systems. A terrible combination. I am perfectly healthy yet the PT tried to get me on expensive, weekly unnecessary appointments.They double billed me and send endless reminders to pay online. Paying online does not work and the system tells you to send a check.
Helpful and fast front desk staff everytime Im in. I never have to wait more than a few minutes for to see Dr Stark, and he has been great at listening to how each of my 2 or 3 injuries occurred. He has been thorough in understanding how my body works through examination and medical history, and I have a lot of trust in his diagnoses
Love Dr. Rao! He made me feel very comfortable and has a calming/inviting strength. He gave me superb records on why I changed into feeling pain and has come up with useful solutions.
I have seen Dr. Stark periodically over the past 7ish years and have had a wonderful experience each time. He is very kind and knowledgeable. He explains things really well and doesnt push you into doing anything that you dont need. I trust him completely.
Doctor told my daughter something was wrong but that she would have to go to their Physical Therapy in order to be helped. He REFUSED to give her any tips on stretches that she could work on until the appointment for PT. Unhelpful and just trying to get patients into their PT. Also they will call you years later like they need patients or the missed something in their billing.
Went there 3 years ago, the treatment was nothing special. But the issue came with the billing, we were miss informed and they tried to charge more than 4 times what they told us.When I try to arrange a payment plan, they stop communicating, now they are requesting full payment once again.I would never reccomend this place.
Billing department is super shady. Reason enough to avoid a fairly satisfactory PT experience. There are many other places that provide a better and more patient oriented experience.
Ive seem Dr Stark for a few years and have always found him and his team excellent.

Stay away from dr Rao. He wasted 6 months of my life and a ton of money at the end I saw no improvement and had to go elsewhere
Love their services, have nothing but great experiences here, specially with Dr. Aran! An experienced Dr, very knowledgeable and on point! Would strongly recommend him!
Fantastic staff. Dr. Rao has awesome bedside manner. Caroline is an amazing PT.
Great place. Hurt my shoulder a few years ago. Rehab did wonders!

Maybe their old management was different, but Ive had a great experience here so far. I saw Dr. Stark for an evaluation and he was very knowledgeable and professional. He did a thorough analysis and recommended PT. I have seen David Perkins and he has been excellent at diagnosing my issues and recommending exercises. I look forward to continuing to go there and am confident that my sports injury will get better. I have not had any issues booking appointments with people I want to see nor any issues with staff. Its also a plus that CareMount takes so many insurance plans.

2022-01-13Dr. Rao is one of the best doctors! He has excellent bedside manner, pays close attention to detail, and is a great listener and communicator. I have never felt rushed and I always feel that my concerns are genuinely heard and addressed. I have been his patient for over 2 years and I can’t imagine looking for another doctor.Erin is amazing! She is extremely sharp and knowledgeable. She is patient and professional. She was able to help me improve quickly by recommending practical home exercises and lifestyle adjustments. I could not be more grateful for my experience with Erin.

2022-06-10Frankly, posting this because there are so many negative reviews! I think people usually only leave reviews for medical facilities when they have a bad experience... I love Chelsea Sports Med! I did PT here for many months and had a great experience with each of of the physical therapists.

2022-03-02NIGHTMARE! DO NOT GO HERE.I had an 11am booked with Aran Degenhardt MD, MPH&TM, cAc. He tripled booked 3 clients. Made me wait 45 minutes yes FORTY FIVE MINUTES and then cancelled the appointment WITHOUT SEEING ME.

2022-06-02Doctors are great but since bought by CareMount Medical, P.C., the administration has become so hard. I got test orders and nobody knew where they are and how to retrieve them.

2021-07-26Very unprofessional organization, with little care for their patients. Booked an appointment, and the only thing available was 2 weeks out. They call me the morning of my appointment to reschedule, but the first available is another 2 weeks out. Plenty of other doctors Im the city. Surely one who care more about their patients and keep scheduled appointments.

2021-03-09The doctors are fine- but the office is incredibly shady and flat out harrass you with calls and texts and emails to try to get you to schedule appointments.This week Ive had no less than FIFTEEN calls (even after blocking 2 of the numbers that called me) 5 emails, and 12 texts.

2020-09-29I found Sports Medicine via ZocDoc and went here a few times for an annual physical. Every time I scheduled an appointment here I was never able to see the same doctor which was frustrating as I felt like I had to repeat my medical history every time I came in. The PAs I did see were great but would have preferred seeing the same doctor year to year.On my latest visit (in the past month) I scheduled a video consultation as I was worried about some physical conditions I was experiencing. The initial consult was fine but somehow the lab forms for the bloodwork I needed to get were incorrect. When I called their front desk for help they were helpful enough but had a terrible attitude the entire time I was talking with them.Once my bloodwork came back I got a response from a different doctor than who I had seen with the response that there were some irregularities in my bloodwork (which had been noted previously and which I had actually been consulted to see a specialist for) but that I was probably born with it. That response seemed to lack any empathy or attempt at providing a truly great service. I tried reaching out via their online portal to the initial doctor I had my video consultation with to no avail.This facility may be good for more sports related PT but if youre looking for a general physical I would not recommend. Theres lack of consistency with the doctors year to year, unfriendly front desk staff and overall unhappy with my experience here.

2019-10-31The worst experience Ive ever had, their reception were awful, super unfriendly, their doctors were nice but for annual physical, what they do was only listen to your heart and lungs then blood pressure thats all! 5 minutes for annually physical can you imagine? If you dont want your day to be ruined avoid this place and their awesome receptionist.

2019-10-30I attended 3 office visits. Staff is busy and slightly overworked, but I was pleased with the visits. Functional for all intensive purposes. Unfortunately, this office submitted an insurance claim one year after my visits (after I had changed insurance policies), which basically made it impossible to get my visits covered by insurance (which would have been otherwise). Poor book keeping. Not good at returning phone calls about billing. Not worth the trouble if you ask me.

2015-08-16Picked this place on a recommendation, because it was nearby, and they take same day appointments. The office doesnt tend to be over crowded, the girls at the front desk do a good job of moving people through. Johanna is fantastic as a GP, I use her for everything now. From regular checkups to nutrition, seems like she enjoys her job. B
