SPoT Coffee in other cities:
We have been to spot coffee a few times now. It is a nice big place, lots of tables, big windows overlooking the street. A very comfortable place to sit and have coffee. We have always had a good experience here, the coffee is good but I have to say that this time my ice americano was not very strong. I had to go back and order another shot to be put in it and that was okay but I was a little disappointed in that. Apart from that the coffee has a good taste and they always have good pastries to eat.
I have been to this place a few times with my wife. She orders more from the lunch menu where I normally get a breakfast item. They have a signature sandwich called the Mike sandwich. This is definatly why I go here for breakfast. Its an egg sandwich with your choice of meats. It comes on your choice of bread or bagel but for 30 cents you can have it on this very soft and herby focaccia bread. My personal favorite is bacon and avacado on focaccia but to be fair I have not moved away from something that I already enjoy so much. They also put cheese on this sandwich but the stand out is that they put cream cheese on it as well. It is a wonderful texture element that takes it to the next level. They also have a wonderful coffee menu. My wife picks at me because I order a milkshake for breakfast. They have a delicious white chocolate carmel espresso milkshake that I love. I tried the mocha espresso milkshake yesterday and found that if I am in the mood for chocolate and espresso thats the way to go. Great food and drink and a very nice atmosphere that is warm, inviting and spacious. Definatly a breakfast/lunch destination for myself and my family.
We always enjoy our breakfast when we are visiting glens falls during our Philadelphia escape getaways! Worth the wait, the baked goods are always warm and filling, and the breakfast sandwiches are on point. Absolutely worth grabbing a cup of coffee and hanging out if you have the time!
This is a great local coffee shop and restaurant in downtown Glens Falls, a short walk feom the Crandall Library and other downtown hot spots. They have excellent coffee drinks, teas, and baked goods as well as breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches and other food items. There is a quiet atmosphere with ample seating. The whole front of the csfe is lined with tall windows which bring in a lot of natural light, that can be opened in the summer months. There is not a dedicated parking lot, but much of the parking downtown is free. Try their cookies, they are excellent!
I ordered a latte and omelette. The latte was so delicious and silky smooth, the omlette was full of cheese and the extras I asked to be put in. Service was excellent and they accept cash and cards. There was 10 minite wait on food and their bathroom was clean and stocked. Seating areas were all clean and spaced nicely. I will definitely go back when I am in the area again.
Went there for coffee and enjoyed a nice time as they had people there playing music. Great atmosphere and also served pastries for desert and muffins if you wanted them. I was there in the afternoon but they also serve breakfast such as wraps and breakfast sandwiches.
Really good coffee and food. Outdoor seating on a beautiful day is also great. If there isn’t any available, a park is fairly close. So you could go eat there.Indoor seating is also well spaced out to accommodate Covid precautions. In regular times, it is a cozy pleasant space to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. I really like the Cajun Turkey wrap, but sometimes a bagel with cream cheese is what hits the spot.
The last two sundays Ive gotten coffee from SPOT coffee in Glens Falls and the coffee was very bitter tasting. Other wise the place looked great very nice staff and very clean..ButIve literally had to dump the coffee out and go to Stewarts to get a consistent cup of coffee both times
Never the same faces twice. The staff turnover in this place is so frequent that nobody can make a good coffee. The girls hardly even know what a macchiato is and the food is always a little singed.Wish they had some quality staff so I could actually recommend it. Rn its just sucking up all the air out of downtown glens falls with good enough
I asked for an iced green tea latte, the staff made a watered down room temp tea with a splash of milk. I ended up going up the road to Starbucks to get one made correctly.Beyond the poorly made drink the atmosphere is nice, wifi is strong and while I didnt order anything beside the latte they seem to have a wide variety of beverages and food.
You cant go wrong here. I dont know how to put it but it has that cool vibe with some higher vehicle traffic which is a great pace change for up north... . The service is solid. The coffee and pastries are very good and the breakfadt/lunch food is top notch. Breakfast all day. I usually get the sausage egg and cheese on a bagel...
Needs a much better system for calling orders, orders got mixed up and everyone was confused. Food was excellent, though, particularly the Belgian waffles, and the coffee was pretty good. Almost no seating for groups above four, but very comfortable and they didnt care when my group put some tables together (mostly because we put it back when we were done). Also had sofas and some great artwork on the walls. Artsy atmosphere.
Great place for coffee, food, people watching and music. In the heart of downtown, near library, restaurants, theater and sports arena. Window-wall looks out onto the main drag, and opens in the summer for breezes. Fireplace in the alcove room is cozy in the winter. Great spot!
I was there around 6pm. The coffee was ok. I dont know what kind of roast they use. The chocolate chip cookie was top notch! The table I sat at was horribly wobbly! The ambiance was comfortable and I could tell other people enjoyed the space as well, since there was a group there listening to someone give a sales pitch about a table full of products (weight loss aids?)
A cute local cafe with nice decorating and comfortable seating arrangements. I didnt eat, but the banana smoothie I had was delicious. I saw one of my friends perform here and really liked it; it was great to see somewhere that supported local artists. They also support visual artists and have several paintings/drawings hanging up for sale
Friendly service, awesome coffee, tasty baked goods, all a walking distance from most places I frequent in Glens Falls. After a night of heavy drinking and debauchery, nothing picks me up like a Red Eye from SPoT and a doobie. Then again, the prices could be better. What do you expect though? It’s an awesome place with a cozy environment, employees who do their jobs well, and excellent coffee. They’ll let you sit and sip as long as you wish, too (within business hours.)
First time visiting. Nice atmosphere upon entering. Ordered our breakfast at the counter. Wife and I noticed something floating in our coffees. Was some type of film. It disintegrated when rubbed between my fingers. Got new cups of coffee. Same thing. Is this why its called SPoT coffee? Not for me. Plenty of other places to pay $2 for small coffee.
Pros-Delicious coffee beverages.Tasty baked goods.Unique and interesting aesthetic.Fantastic downtown location.Cons-No privacy. Some booths would be nice. There is a little nook area off to the side of the main area, but its always full.Staff is frequently pretentious and unwelcoming. On a recent stop here, my friend and I had to wait at the counter for the barista to finish texting, wake up, and seem like he could barely be bothered to take our order.Furthermore, we had another employee walk by and give us a look that we could only interpret as you dont belong here. Were not particularly sensitive, but we couldnt really interpret it another way.If youre downtown and you want a good cup of coffee, your options are sadly limited. SPoT will provide good coffee and baked goods, but dont expect much else. Personally, Id go to Rock Hill instead.
This has become my go to spot to relax and pass time when Im downtown. Its a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, the coffee is on par with, or better than, starbucks and while much of the food is pricey, its very good and the drinks are quite reasonable.Staff are friendly and helpful. It can get very crowded and noisy, so if those are things that make you uncomfortable, avoid peak times.
A very friendly young lady was @ the counter today. Amazing customer service skills, although the young man with the long grey and white sweater, did not look @ me once while waiting on me and over filled my cup that dripped all down the sides. I got a couple of caramel machiatos, when the young lady made it there was nothing dripped all over the outside of the cup and she put caramel drizzle over the whipped cream. The young man never even offered I had to ask for it. Other than that, I love Spot Coffee :)
Great service and not the worst atmosphere. Some of the open mic stuff has been hit or miss, but whatre you going to do? Dead between two Pokéstops though, so unless you fidget with the GPS its hard to get them. Drinks and the decent accompaniment of coffeehouse food and baked goods makes up for it though, if that puts it in perspective.
Spot Coffee an excellent meeting and lunch spot in downtown Glens Falls. Its located right in the heart of town and is a short walk to Crandall Library, Queensbury Hotel, and Cool Insuring Arena. The front completely opens to the street, adding to the already friendly atmosphere.
New Spot coffee in the heart of Kenmore. Just recently opened and Im a fan. I stopped in for a quick break and a cortado and the espresso was pulled nicely and the steamed milk was perfect. I love places that have a Cortado on the menu and Im not quite sure why everyone doesnt. Its quite simply a double espresso with equal parts milk. Spot is consistent and has expanded pretty aggressively throughout Buffalo. The breakfast sammys are always on point and its a nice coffeeshop. Id pick Spot over Starbucks any day of the week and think their coffee is pretty darn good.
I come to spot religiouslyorder the same thing everyday. Grande iced red-eye, white chocolate and raspberry. Splash of almond milk. Every time they make it perfect. the people thag are working as baristas and cooks are the nicest people annd theg are really good at what they do. i cant say enough about this place

2022-05-30As others have said, the wait time is excessive, especially considering the simplicity of the food. It did taste good. I had the black bean and corn quesadilla. It was overloaded with cheese, and it could have had more corn and beans on it instead. The vibe inside is chill and what you would expect from a coffee shop.

2022-06-22Coffee is great, I liked the frozen blend a lot more than Starbucks. Food is about what youd expect, good coffee shop sandwiches. Atmosphere is nice and they are dog friendly. The wifi is hit or miss, mostly works, but disappointing blips and connectivity issues. If I had a note for the owner it would be to install more access points.

2021-08-26Lots of potential but a bit disappointing. There was plenty of well spaced seating, cool artwork and well-patronized wifi, but my cappuccino was barely hot and quite wimpy. Tables had been cleared but not wiped down. Starbucks wont be worried about this one.

2022-05-31Wonderful staff, powerful air conditioning, tasty drinks! I had a wild berry smoothie, there were 0 ice crystals which I was asthonished by. Super smooth and went down easy, which I believe is attributed to the smoothies being made with puree.

2022-06-20No. Just no. We waited forever in a very short line. And then we waited forever for our drinks and food. All of the tables were filthy and the bathroom was disgusting. Got a quesedilla, was asked if we wanted to order chips to go with our side of guacamole, we said yes. The chips we got were cheap potato chips!? How silly of us to assume theyd serve tortilla chips with our salsa and guac. Not blaming the staff.... They looked short handed, or perhaps this is how the management schedules for a Monday afternoon. But save your money and go somewhere else.

2022-04-02Possibly the slowest I have ever dealt with. If you are a door dash or similar driver, do yourself a favor and block this place. You will lose money on the wait. Just waited over 20 minutes while members of the staff stood around, hung out and made themselves a coffee…. While I was waiting for a coffee. Done with this place. Happens every time I go here

2022-04-07I ordered online. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a woman in a black backwards hat who was very clearly annoyed I walked in and let her know I had a pick up order. She scouffed and mumbled under her breath while searching the computer- Its gunna be a minute. I got my food right on time (half hr wait) so that was a plus. I asked for my sandwich cut in half. The egg was cut in half but not the bun... ? So every bite I took, the egg just kept falling put. Spot is right next to my work so I looked forward to eating there on lunch and am disappointed to have to look elsewhere

2018-08-26This place literally hits the spot when it comes to service, quality and overall value. Ive visited for breakfasts, and each time it was perfect. The coffee, pastries, foccacia and breakfast sandwiches and omelets are great. My most recent visit included a purchase of a turkey, cheese and veggie panini with a side of fresh greens. Afterwards I shared an awesome frozen berry smoothie. As usual service was excellent.

2020-01-31Corporatized but still retains the ambience of a mom-and-popper. Delicious craft coffees, artisanal pizza, a leisure library, and a community bulletin board. Convenient location with free and fast wi-fi. Ample, intimate seating and clean bathrooms. The Warren County Libertarian Party meets at SPoT Coffee every so often.
