I made an appointment with Dr Birnbaum in Zocdoc, came uptown from Brooklyn and moved my whole work schedule to arrive and have them say it wasn’t synced with Zocdoc. They didn’t even try to squeeze me in or anything, totally horrible customer service!!
It was a great experience they were fast I didn’t have to wait so long and they were very friendly and the environment was great. The workers were nice and they did everything according to what I needed to get checked up for.
Dr. Pustover was the loveliest director. I’ve been to 12 different dermatologists in the NYC area and never had great experience. I now believe I’ve found the one!Booking was easy and quick, they use an app to communicate with us.Upon arrival I had to fill out some information on an iPad. Quick and easy. Didn’t wait much and she called me in.The consultation was awesome. She took her time to listen and explain things. I had an allergic reaction on my eye, she prescribed what a needed and had it sent to my home. She also listened to my cosmetic concerns and instead of pushing me to do all the cosmetic treatments and buy the expensive products, she recommended products with great price point and did not push me to do anything other than the basic care at home. I showed interest in doing other things and she explained what could be good.In my mind, you can’t fully separate cosmetic from medical when dealing with a dermatologist. If I use certain cosmetic products on my face, it is important to me that they are approved or recommended by my dermatologist and she understood that.Highly recommend her!!!
I had my first visit with Dr. Kaylan Pustover today and she totally put me at ease and was truly delightful in every possible way. She is so easy to talk with in what could otherwise be an awkward situation. Her team is really on top of everything and her office is incredibly modern and clean. Highly recommend!
Fantastic receptionist, always kind and helpful. The technician that gave the phototherapy treatment to me was gentle and took her time to let me ask any questions I may have had. Really nice practice.
Dr. Pustover saved my skin! Had painful acne around my mouth/chin that I could never get to fully go away - within a few months of treatment recommended by Dr. Pustover my skin never looked better, and its stayed that way! Office is lovely, cool location, and my appointment is very efficient. Will continue to come here for all my derm needs, and would recommend this practice to anyone!
I absolutely love this dermatology practice everyone is so kind and Lily Andrews is the best! Her bedside manner is excellent and she really puts you at ease. I trust her completely with my skin, no matter what the procedure. Highly recommend!
Absolute recommend! Dr. Pustover handles my somewhat sensitive skin with grace and proficiency. Never so much as a red mark the following day. And the problem areas are taken care of. I’ve been to see her twice, and have had amazing experiences both times. There’s never a wait, and it never feels rushed. The office is also immaculate and extremely comfortable. 10/10.

There’s no better place to go for skin care and health than Spring Street. The staff is professional, the space is gorgeous, and Dr Palep is truly a gifted dermatologist.

Nice Doctor but way too over priced, check with their office before your appointment and be aware of all the additional cost!!After my initial visit where I paid the copay amount, I received additional bill for $100 in the mail later. Even this is a specialist visit, my insurance plan should leave my responsible for 20% after copay. $120 for 2 minutes with the doctor just to get a prescription is way to overpriced.Will not come back.

This was my first visit at Spring Street Dermatology. Not only is the office beautiful and very clean, but the check in process was extremely smooth. I waited very little time before I was called in for my appointment. I saw Dr. Pustover and she was informative, attentive, and thorough. 100% recommend!
Not a long wait to see the doctor. Entire staff professional, courteous and nice. State of the art equipment in a a super clean and modern environment. Doctor was very thorough and looked out for my best interest as a patient.
Pros: Dr. Pustover is great- she’s thorough, focused, and sympathetic to the patient’s needs.The office space is lovely, welcoming and clean.Cons: it is IMPOSSIBLE to get in direct contact with anyone at this office. The phone number goes straight to a menu with no option to speak to someone directly. The texting service is abysmal. No one responds in a timely manner, if at all. I repeatedly run into issues with getting updates on my prescription status because of this.
I had a lovely annual skin check appointment w/ Dr. Tatyana Nektalova. It was my first time seeing a dermatologist and she was very thorough in her examination, walked through what she was doing the entire time, and gave me a thorough explanation of what I should look out for in doing my self-checks. I will definitely be going back to her. The office is also bright, clean, and nice and I appreciate how digitized everything is.

The staff was nice and I enjoyed my experience there, but the billing experience was incredibly frustrating. I havent had an appointment with them in over a year and they continue to charge me for appointments from last year, even though every time I speak to someone in the office they tell me Ive paid for everything. I honestly would not recommend. Theyre not at all transparent with what theyre charging you for and will probably continue sending you bills for a decade after your first appointment.

Ive seen Dr. Pustover for both medical and cosmetic dermatology needs and she was so incredibly helpful. She really takes the time to listen to her patients needs and concerns. She is very knowledgeable, and I never felt rushed, she was really great. I will definitely be seeing her for all of my dermatology needs!

Dr. Pustover is great and is always helpful and attentive with my concerns. Making an appointment is smooth and using Klara helps me communicate with my doctor fast and easy as well. I love that they have weekend days and hours and different locations and the option to meet with my doctor online if needed.
I felt uncomfortable, misinformed, and pressured. I won’t be going back. Also, over the summer when covid restrictions were chill, the chinstrapping receptionist wouldn’t let me bring my partner into the appointment with me. We showed our val cards and were masked and they eventually gave in as a “courtesy.” If you’re going to be strict about these things I totally respect that, but then WEAR A MASK.
Great staff and Dr. Pustover is the best! I suffer from hormonal cystic acne and uneven skin tone and she has truly saved my face especially leading up to my wedding.
I recently got my second treatment of RF Microneedling with Joey Pang and just needed to share with everyone how truly amazing she is! She is very professional and made me feel very comfortable, even when the procedure was anything but. I can’t wait to come back!
I have been to other clinics where they do producers before calling your health insurance. Here is comes the bill from three places.- $446, already paid-Lab $277-$46 for the visit.ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Never going back AGAIN. Please call your health insurance on your own because this place is all about just getting number of patients in their clinics. Biopsy was done just like that the doctor did not even ask if I was traveling. Had to take stitches out in ER before leaving as well. DONT COM HERE BEFORE CALLING YOUR INSURANCE. I hope this helps.
I was recommended by Sollis Health to Spring Street Dermatology at 4 west 58th street, and to Dr Birnbaum specifically, to follow up on a suspicious finding on my back. The office is beautiful, tasteful and calming.Dr Birnbaum was, professional, efficient and informative as she went about a complete skin check. By the time she determined that a biopsy was indicated, she had won my confidence. Their doctors are good, but they have no social distancing in the lobby. The lobby is very crowded, and people come sit next to each other. Please beware

2022-03-04Dr. Birnbaum is amazing!! I have worked with her now for almost a year and my skin is the best it has ever been. She helped figure out the right plan for me and really listened to what I said during our appointments. The Spring Street office is also very nice. It feels clean, modern, and welcoming (and it has a great view). I will definitely continue to come here

The Spring Street office is really nice, very clean and I was attended to promptly by the front desk. I was also seen by Dr Birnbaum on time. She was very thorough in her examination, explained everything as she was working through it. I felt very comfortable and confident in the results I got. Highly recommend

2022-05-26WOW. This was my first visit with Dr. Boker. He is a great dermatologist. He listens to you and is very thorough. You can definitely tell he cares about his patients. He could tell by the worried look on my face that I was concerned about a skin issue I had that I thought was possibly cancerous. I told him I was worried.. and he said he wasnt. Upon examining me.. it wasnt as bad as I thought it was. He definitely eased my anxiety. Im so happy to have had this visit. His staff are very professional and friendly. I will definitely go back for any other issues. I trust him as a doctor!

2022-08-12Dr Palep is an absolute gem!! I went to 3 other doctors prior to her (only because they’re much closer to my home) and they were all very nervous to even touch the stye in my eye. She removed it within seconds with zero pain and no discomfort whatsoever. She’s absolutely a master in her craft. I wish I could give 6 stars to her. Thanks so much!!
