Such a great place to stop by for an hour and watch the animals. The petting zoo closes a half hour before the farm and costs $1/person. The dairy barn is open till 2p and costs $3/adult and $2/child or senior citizen and kids under 2 are free. Always a pleasure to go here and connect with the farm.
I drove 25 miles wz 2 kids who were extremely excited to see baby goats and chickens. After i arrived we realized that there are no animals and they had been transferred to another place because of the COVID-19 . They should have announced this on their website at least.
The little guy loves it! The petting zoo is perfect for him to get a visceral idea of how live animals sound and feel, since he cannot see them. The biggest problem is that the bathrooms were outhouse style - so basically impossible for my little guy to use. The seats were too wide, and there were no grips or space to help him hold himself up. Eek!
I have been coming here since the early 90s. It was so amazing and exciting when I was little! We used to come for the sheep sheering festival and much more. My Cousins and I Loved coming here and always went back as teenagers, when the next generation was starting out we brought all of them too. We loved it!!! In the last 10 years or so it hasnt been as exciting or as special as it use to be. Which is disappointing, I miss the old atmosphere and the family feel. Still not a bad place to visit, just changed.

2022-05-11I drove from Sodus. To take my grandbabies. When we arrived. Started to walk around noticed locks on bathrooms. My poor granddaughter couldnt hold it had to pee in the parking lot. She only almost 4. As we walked around. We couldnt find one animal. The website or the sign when you arrive. Does not say one word about not having animals out. Very disappointed. Will never go back. So sad because my girls loved this place growing up.

2020-04-03LOVE this place. Family friendly, cheap/free outing (the goat petting area is $1 and they do have a donation well!). Staff and volunteers and super friendly and always encouraging safe interactions with the animals. Highly recommend for young kids!

2019-05-03Springdale farm is a wonderful place. They take great care of their animals and keep a clean location for families to visit. They have restrooms and it is stroller friendly. They have a playground and picnic area. There is a petting zoo for $1. There is a pond to look at, pigs, horses, sheep, goats, cows, peacocks. And a wonderful little kitty that follows you all around! We like to donate $5-$10 each time we go bc its free and they are wonderful! They have a wishing well you can drop your donations into.

2019-08-28Great place to take children to see farm animals. You can also go in and pet the goats and sheep for $1 per person. There is a park next door with a swing set and a playground that my daughter loves to go to afterwards.
