Wow. What an incredibly nice hotel. Room was HUGE, bathroom was HUGE (and the toiletries were awesome). The only bad part was there are these glass things between the living room and bedroom areas on the desk. If you walk around the room you can hear them shake in there, doesnt matter how light you step.Breakfast was also really good.
Springhill Suítes by Marriott has the most beautiful rooms we’ve ever stayed in—and we’ve stayed at The Waldorf!!! Clean lines just get me; and Springhill Suites has beautifully clean lines, has very tastefully decor and it itself is very clean. The suites are unexpectedly spacious. The beds are comfortable. Free breakfast was much appreciated. The staff was pleasant—not one of their smiles seemed insincere. What more can you ask for???
It was my second time visiting this location (first time I stayed at the Residence Inn) and this time I stayed at SpringHill Suites. I really enjoy coming to this location because of how friendly the staff are! Everyone is always so nice and amazing customer service and experience. I look forward to coming back! Thank You 😊
We stayed for one night to visit family. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel in general was very clean and well-kept. We were there on a Sunday night and were very disappointed to find out that the lounge was not open. We like to have a drink and socialize and even the person at the front desk agreed it should be open. The breakfast was limited.. We were looking forward to waffles, pancakes or french toast but there were neither. They did have eggs and sausage but no bacon. You had to order what you wanted and they handed it to you at a window. I feel like they should go back to how things were before covid.
This is a wonderful Marriott property in top top shape. They pay attention to cleanliness amd safety. The bed provided me with a wonderful night of rest. The rooms were well cleaned and prepared for guests. It was a peaceful, quiet night of rest after a long day. I would definitely stay there again.
This very attractive hotel far surpassed our expectations. This was probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and adherence to COVID protocols was obvious throughout. Additionally, breakfast availability (including healthy choices) at this time was a big plus. Staff were exceptionally pleasant, friendly and helpful. A very well-run facility—highly recommended. The hotel was a reasonable distance for visiting Storm King, as well as Beacon and Newburgh.
We were very impressed with the impeccable cleanliness of our room. Everything was well-maintained and even had a modern aesthetic. Our room was comfortable and accommodated our family of five very nicely. Check in was easy. Breakfast was included (love that convenience) and the price of the room was very reasonable.
Great hotel! I had to move my reservation due to an emergency and John at the front desk was very understanding and accommodating. The room was amazing with nice updates and very clean. The pool was great and allowed my kid to get some energy out. Several restaurants and a Walmart very close by. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again!
My family and I week at hotel is was amazing, My mom enjoyed the view 2220 of the pond where saw the ducks. The hotel was very clean and beautiful and the service was exceptional 👌. There not complaint. We will be return soon for second visit and hope we hope to have the same room as before
The best hotel experience in Fishkill for the price. A great hot breakfast with meat and vegetarian options, clean rooms, feather pillows, a working TV, clean white towels, and plenty of free coffee packets. The pool couldve been a bit deeper but in every other aspect its a far better hotel experience than the five others Ive tried in the immediate area.
Having stayed there before I asked for a certain room that I knew was going to be quiet and dark upon arrival after a 12-hour drive. the person I spoke to over the phone assured me that I could get that room. when I arrived I got a totally different room that was on the side where the roof fans were located. So you could hear the droning of the fans go on and off all day and night. It was also very sunny and bright in that room. Definitely not what I wanted The GM Lisa was very nice. she explained that I shouldnt have been promised the room because they cant guarantee it until you actually show up. she tried to rectify it by giving me a different room but by then I had unpacked everything and I was too tired to schlep to another room. Very unhappy I couldnt get the room I was promised. It really put a damper on the whole stay. Other than the mistake by the person that I talk to you about that room it is clean. Apparently they have a good breakfast I cant wake up that early for it and the staff were generally pleasant.
New and clean hotel in nice quiet area of town. A few issues with overbooking and rates that were quickly addressed to our satisfaction. The breakfast was hot and good, they serve to you at the moment. Pool was clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
My understanding was this was a suite with a separate bedroom and living room, not areas separated by only an opening over the desk. This arrangement made it awkward for unrelated families to undress and sleep in privacy. The breakfast buffet was very good, but some of the food was not very hot. The entire hotel is very clean.
This review is for wedding room block. We were disappointed by Teresa and her staff, we had issues with rebooking during the pandemic, they originally did not want to provide a revised rate when our wedding moved from a Saturday to a Sunday, we were able to make this work but she did not disclose that the rate we were given was an average of Saturday and Sunday so we had people booking outside of the block because of this. They also only provided 1 welcome bag to guests even though we gave more than enough for 2 per room. Overall we just didnt appreciate the attitude and wish we had gone to the Hilton instead.
Great pleasure to stay in this location. Front desk receptionist John was very helpful, professional and great with smile. Amenities are excellent and open as they mentioned on site. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Everything is wonderful, I hope they can provide more vegetarian options in morning breakfast. Hotel is providing everything and not giving excuses of Covid like other hotels are giving to save money. Highly recommend and will continue staying in this hotel.
Great friendly staff! However, the price we paid for a room with some problems especially a Marriott hotel was a little bit upsetting. Our bathroom door would not lock due to it being broken in two different areas. The frame work around the door had a bunch of tiny holes in it from a nail gun and wasnt even lined up properly. The bathroom overhead light wasnt even finished. You could see the sheetrock cut out for the light and no paint around it. One of the bathroom tiles was broken, lifted up and sharp. Our microwave made a loud obnoxious noise while in use. My husband and I were very disappointed in paying so much for our family to stay and have so many room problems.
This is a no thrill hotel but its very nice. The room is modern compared to all the other hotels with kitchens/long term stay style rooms, the are lots of usb plugs around, the bathroom is a modern stand up shower and instead of a dinning table there is a breakfast counter for two people. The room also had a very big desk for working and a comfortable computer chair. The main bed is comfortable and the fold out couch is pretty good for a kid.
The hotel is very nice, the minute u walk through the door the staff was very friendly and helpful. The inside is beautiful, the seating area is huge to just sit back and and enjoy a drink and whatever was on the tv. Our room was very modern and a nice size for a studio, king bed.
We had a wonderful experience. The room was lovely, clean, and modern. The bathroom was very spacious, and the road had a large walk-in closet which I’ve never seen in a hotel previously. The beds were very comfortable. I appreciated the separation between the living area and sleeping area. The complimentary breakfast was legit. We were very impressed. Service was impeccable. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and professional. During breakfast one morning, I was wearing my 4 month old and trying to feed myself and other kids. A staff member noticed me and went out of her way to help me. She went above and beyond. I would absolutely stay here again, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families traveling with kids.
My family just spent the night at the Springhill Suites in Fishkill, and we had an excellent stay.Weve never stayed at a Springhill Suites before, and the facilities were clean and new. My youngest daughter couldnt get enough of the pool and I thought it was the best gym Ive worked out in in a hotel.I especially wanted to mention that the young guy, John, at the front desk was extremely helpful when we checked in. My wife had an important fax that she needed to send and he was more than willing to help out.Keep up the good work, well definitely be staying at another Springhill Suites.
Lovely experience! Very new and modern. Enjoyed spending part of our evening sitting around the firepit, having some wine and cheese. (We brought our own.) Room was spotless and well appointed.Complimentary breakfast handled very well following corona virus protocols.
We have stayed at the Spring Hill Suites in Fishkill, NY several times just to get away from the craziness of home and our transportation business (845 Transportation). This visit was ayahuasca my daughter and a few close friends celebrating their graduation. As always it was flawless; even allowing for a 3 hours late checkout. Always recommend Spring Hill first to friends and our clients.
The room was clean and decorated nicely. We had the suite with 2 Queen beds and the beds were amazing - so comfy! The bathroom was nice and big and the layout was perfect. We enjoyed the coffee bar and the huge, full length mirror was nice for dressing. The closet was also nice and big with plenty of wood hangars and shelves. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcome and saw to it that we were comfortable in every way. The breakfast was really good with plenty of selections to choose from. We loved the hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookie service in the lobby as well as the coffee, tea and cold lemon water which was available at all times in the lobby.
This hotel is a great location for us anytime were in the area. The layout is nice, dining room is big and the property is clean and well-maintained. I have always been impressed with the friendly, helpful staff. This time we had an issue at check-in which Jessica handled with grace and kindness. She arranged a solution that was perfect and we were very happy with the room change. Through out our weekend Jessica and other staff members were happy to answer questions and promptly fulfill requests. It was a fantastic experience for our entire party. The breakfast is pretty nice for a complimentary buffet. The eggs were especially good.
Although this is a very nice hotel and the staff very polite and helpful, there was a problem with the cleanliness of our room. Most of the hotel appeared clean but the cleaning staff got sloppy in our room, which is important in times of COVID. The phone had clearly not been wiped down -there were makeup smudges and finger prints all over it. There also was a dirty cleaning rag left behind in the room. Very disappointing and concerning. I wiped down the phone with antiseptic wipes from the hotel and the staff came up and took the rag and apologized but the damage had already been done putting a damper on a much anticipated get away.
Excellent hotel. A few things could improve like providing enough toiletries for number of guest on reservation, Barkley enough for one person per day. Must have enough stock to restock all breakfast items for the hours they say they serve breakfast. Ran out of popular items each morning likely due to soccer teams, and college tours in area. Should have anticipated large groups at breakfast. Lovely staff and beautiful room. Have stayed before will again. Manager actually called our room just to introduce herself and ask how our stay was going and if we needed anything. Very nice touch.
Check in was friendly, fast and pleasant. After a long day of travel, we arrived to a beautiful room, well appointed and very updated. Everything was fresh and clean. The beds were super comfy and the hotel was quiet. We came down to a hot breakfast and an easy check out. I highly recommend this hotel and we will return.
We elected to stay at the Springhill Suites in Fishkill near West Point (20 min) for a large family wedding. The wedding guest room block was at another hotel but after researching, we chose the Springhill and so glad we did. The other hotel had been updated but when we visited family there, it was dark and did not feel comfortable. The Springhill was bright, clean, modern. Our room was very nice and super clean. The barn door on the bathroom was stylish and gave more space but not very private. Otherwise, it was great. The breakfast area was clean and comfortable and the coffee and food very good. The staff were energetic and helpful. Great facility including the gym.
Our one night stay at this hotel was perfect! Newer hotel, set back off of the main road. Convenient location, close to eateries and shopping. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. This hotel is great looking inside and outside! The grounds are well kept and plenty of parking. The free breakfast is much better the most hotels I have stayed at. Nice selection of items and the area is very clean!
Hotel site is true to GPS guidance, with good access to I-84. Lobby and room were clean. Microwave and minifridge were neatly tucked away in a small closet. We had a large room with a generous walk-in closet. Breakfast was good and the location was comfortable. Small negatives - it took 4 rings to reach the front desk from the room, maybe because the lobby staff also serve the Residence Inn next door. (Be careful not to board the wrong elevator!) Would be nice if the hotel had a shuttle service to meet customer needs. Would surely consider this hotel if visiting the area again.
Beautiful, clean rooms and space. Pool could be cleaned more often. I used this hotel as a base camp to explore biking around New Paltz and Beacon with my family. Convenient location for this purpose . The hotel is stunning... didn’t give an excellent because we found clumps of hair in the pool and it hasn’t been maintained or updated to match the rest of the hotel. Overall, great place .
The hotel itself was nice and clean. The bathroom sink had low water pressure and the kitchen could use a sink.. The breakfast was not as expected..it was basically heated breakfast sandwichs except for Sat which I believe they served pancakes.. I guess considering the safety precautions its understandable why there was no buffett.. The fire pit is nice and the pool was nicely maintained. Its located in a business center and is surrounded by lots of restaurants and stores including Walmart..The scenery was not that great because its located in the heart of many buildings but there is a nice view of the mountains once you look past all the buildings.Oh and its located about 45 minutes from Woodburry Commons.
What a nice experience. The room was spacious and comfortable. The sitting are with desk setup was nice to relax in. The amenities of the room and hotel made for a comfortable and rewarding experience. The breakfast gave alot of choices to meet any dietary needs and was good and well stocked. I would definitely book another Marriott if thats the standard.
First, the location is great, right off the highway and within 20 minutes of 2 major interchanges. The hotel itself is a great value for the money. It is very clean, the staff is very friendly. They have a great lobby for meeting up with people and grabbing a drink at the bar. The rooms are very comfortable and have good amenities. The breakfast layout is great too featuring a ton of different options, and change from day to day. Checkout was super fast too. This is my go to hotel when Im in the area.
We were looking for a simple place to stay for a three day Hudson Valley trip, and Springhill exceeded all expectations! Bright spacious and airy, well appointed room. Comfortable bed..plenty of outlets and a useful pantry with good sized fridge and micro. Very good breakfast with waffles bar. Well maintaibed...warm and welcoming staff. I am used to staying in luxury hotels...this is a very classy place that shows thoughtful design and capable management, in a very central location. Not your old-fashioned B&B,but it has a charm all its own.
Comfortable, clean room. Enough room for 6 people to sleep comfortably (we had 4); 2 queen beds and a trundle couch. The staff was friendly and helpful. We used the pool often. It was very clean and there was plenty of seating. My kids also loved the free lollipops down at the front desk.
Me and my family really enjoyed our stay at the Springhill Suites. Everyone was nice and helpful to us from the moment we walked in to the very minute we exited. The rooms were spacious, clean and beds were very comfy. We went to enjoy the attractions in the area for my daughters 2nd birthday and she had a blast. The pool was a bonus for my family that loves to swim. I look forward to coming back here and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys a nice get away.
The suites were really nice. They had a nice casual area and then a desk separated it from the beds. There was a massive walk in closet which was also nice. The bathroom had a sliding barn door which was cool, but posed some issues when it went off track. Overall, the breakfast was fine and the room was clean!
My family stayed at this property for the 3rd time in that past few months. The hotel is relatively new, clean and well managed. For a family of 5, the two queen bed / sofa sleeper rooms are great. The sofa bed has a pull out trundle, so it can actually sleep two comfortably. The rooms was unusually large and spacious. The only complaint (very minor) was that the staff had a tough time keeping up with the breakfast rush.
We chose the Springhill Suites in Fishkill as the home base hotel for ourselves and our guests for our wedding weekend (our wedding was about 12 miles away in Garrison, New York) and we could not have made a better decision. Diana, our contact on the hotels staff, was an absolute dream to work with throughout the entire process - from securing our room block to arranging our after party to taking care of handing out our goody welcome bags to each guests. The staff truly went above and beyond our expectations in every way! They were extremely responsive, courteous and helpful throughout the whole process, and even left us with champagne and snacks in our room as a newlywed present. We received so many compliments from all of our guests throughout the weekend about the hotel rooms, lobby and amenities - the hotel itself is modern, clean, spacious and beautiful. My bridesmaids and family (about 15 of us total) were able to get ready for our wedding in an adjoining suite with plenty of room for hair, makeup, gift giving and coffee/breakfast. It was amazing and the perfect place to get ready! The lobby bar was also the ideal place for our after party -- its much more spacious than other hotel bars in the area, and the vibe/atmosphere was perfect for what we wanted -- an upbeat yet casual place for our guests to continue mingling after we returned back from our wedding. The hotel was not only great about letting us bring pizza into the bar, but also set out baskets of pretzels for our guests to munch on as well. It was amazing!!! Finally, the complimentary breakfast was great, and was perfect for us to use as a place to say goodbye to our guests, family and friends before they headed out on Sunday morning. We also had several of our guests use the indoor pool during their stay, and they all had compliments for that as well. If youre looking for a hotel to use for your home base/room block for your wedding in the Beacon/Cold Spring/Garrison area, the Springhill Suites is without a doubt an amazing choice. We wouldnt have done it any other way!!
Stayed one night with two teenage sons. May have been one of the best stays in aye US we have had in lat five years when we have visited USA every summer and stayed at some 30+ properties.Very new/fresh design of both hotel and room. Great ‘vibe’. Very spacious room was th great layout.Gym was one of the absolutely best I have seen for an in-house hotel gym. Very new cardio and weight machines. Good selection of weight machines.
From the moment we stepped inside this lovely hotel, till the moment we left, we had an outstanding visit. The front desk people are OUTSTANDING. They bent over backwards to accommodate our requests to check in early. They remembered us from telephone conversations we had with them prior to our visit, they always had a smile on their faces. Miss B (the night clerk) was fantastic at keeping the noise level down so people could sleep without disturbances in a sold out hotel. She was awesome. The breakfast is outstanding—if you can’t find something to eat in the morning, there is no pleasing you! They even accommodate early morning departures (before breakfast is served) with fruit, muffins, and breakfast bars—so you can grab and go. They think of everything. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. No complaints. I will be back again.
COVID compliant throughout! Left another local hotel (Ramada) that was NOT clean or covid compliant. Changed to here, thankfully they had openings. Lisa was very helpful! Fire pit worked, kept us warm on a cool night! Breakfast was covid compliant and delicious! Very happy with stay.
Probably the cleanest and best designed hotel in its class Ive ever stayed at. And one of the very best in all classes. Top notch everything. Not a single complaint. Ive stayed at many hundreds of hotels, but this property is terrific. Its one year old, but its just like brand new. I hope they continue to keep up the great work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I got an excellent price too.
We were very happy with our stay here. It was the cheapest room we could find that had 3 beds and we werent sure what to expect. It far exceeded our expectations! The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The free breakfast each morning was great. The kids loved the large indoor heated pool. We will definitely stay here again next year!
Absolutely loved our stay at SpringHill Suites Fishkill. Everything was so clean. Front desk and breakfast employees were really nice and friendly. Breakfast buffet was great! When the hairdryer in my room was not functioning properly, I called the front desk and had housekeeping knocking on my door with another hairdryer within 2-3 minutes of me hanging up. Talk about awesome service!! I will definitely stay here again and totally recommended this hotel.
Booked hotel for an annual business I have in the area. There arent many hotels close to the venue so I was forced to look a bit farther out in the Fishkill area. The SpringHill Suites was an excellent choice. They have everything you need for a weekend stay. The hotel is modern and stylish, and the rooms are clean, updated, and spacious. Staff was exception and the complimentary breakfast was good with enough variety for everyone. Location is good with many places to eat and shop nearby if you need to. This was my second time booking there and I will definitely be making it an annual stay. Thanks SpringHill!
This hotel is very nice. We have stayed twice. The pool is great for kids. Room is spacious. Ample closet space. TV is awkwardly place. No issues other than a noise problem that was reported and resolved. Friendly staff and management took care of my concerns. We would stay again and recommend to others.
This was a really fun night for my friends and I. The staff was friendly and helpful. The whole check in process was extremely easy! They offered breakfast and included facilities like a pool, ice machine, snack shop. I will be returning! Extremely clean and cozy beds!
What a great hotel. Well maintained indoor swimming pool, well equipped and spacious health center. Very good, attentive staff. Terrific breakfast with lots of healthy options and they actually serve a light dinner Monday - Wednesday, if you dont want to eat out, for example the day you arrive. We did this one night and really appreciated it. There are laundry facilities on site so you can do a wash and dry. Which means if you plan to go there for say, a week, you dont have to pack as many clothes and you dont have this giant pile of laundry to do when you get home.
The staff have been very nice and helpful. Im staying with my wife, 6 year old son, and 10 month old daughter. We asked for a pack n play for our daughter and they quickly got it to us, it was in very good condition and clean. The manager is out and about in the lobby regularly checking with guests to make sure they are comfortable. With all of the snow, they are paying extra attention to keeping the floors dry and safe for walking. The facility seems either new or newly renovated.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the SpringHill Suites in Fishkill in July 2019. The facility was modern, clean and our rooms very comfortable. Gone is the old style sofa bed with and replaced with a very comfortable trundle bed. I was most impressed with the friendly and helpful hotel staff - you could tell they had been trained to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location was perfect - only a few miles to a train station for spending the day in the NY city. Will definitely stay there again.
This is one of the best hotels in this area. Beautiful rooms, beautiful lobby where you can sit and have business meetings or just read a book. The pool is clean, large, well lit. The staff is nice. Breakfast is generous. There is almost nothing I can complain about this place. We always enjoy staying here.
This hotel is very convenient right off of I-84. It was relatively cheap and I knew it was somewhat new so decided to book. Check in was fine- the staff was friendly and helpful. Got into the room and it seemed ok, just a really weird layout. Took the kids to the pool, which they enjoyed but it looked like nobody had been in there to clean up as there was multiple used towels laying all over. After swimming we went to the room where I found literal dirt in one of the beds. I decided to lay a sheet on the couch to sleep on that instead. The wall heating/cooling unit rattled all night long. I reported these items to the front desk and was told they would let maintenance know and offered me a water bottle. In the morning I got in the shower and there was hair stuck to the shower curtain and something that looked like mold or just maybe really old dirt on the walls of the shower. I think this hotel would be nice if the housekeeping staff were retrained and did a better job. I will not be staying here again.
The staff at this hotel is so welcoming! The decor is very beautiful and modern. The rooms are spacious and meticulous. (They even have real walk in closets) Ashley from the kitchen staff gave out coloring books and crayons when it was national coloring day. They served watermelon jello and watermelon juice when it was watermelon day. The social hour was outstanding! They served a variety of cheese and crackers, grapes, smores, and soda. This was a perfect summer treat!
I am a frequent traveler and this was my best Marriott hotel experience. I stayed here with a large party and the amenities were excellent. The lounge / dinning area design is large and inviting with a variance of seating type options that include tables, high tops and cushioned furniture. They had a few TVs throughout the lounge. The lounge has a bar and we hung out in the lounge instead of finishing the night in a loud bar that wouldnt allow our underage family members to join us. If this was a business trip, I would hangout in the lobby instead of my room or a bar.The king bed room design is perfect for both work and enjoyment. The TV is perpendicular to the bed and the desk, making it easy to see the TV from the bed or the desk. In many hotels the desk is next to the TV and you cannot see the TV and you look at a wall. The large desk area overlooks the bed and faces the window in this design...perfect. My wife and I both commented on the quality of the bedding and the pillows and how good of a sleep we got.The breakfast was very good. They had a lot of variety. All too often hotel breakfast options are over cooked, dried out or mushy. The eggs were moist, the oatmeal was perfect and the waffles were fluffy with a lot of toppings to select.
It was very poor ! For one, I traveled with multiple friends. During our stay, we all encountered bed bugs in our rooms. We complained more than once. Nothing was done until the third day, when they finally found available rooms for us to move into. I saw a mouse in the hallway. For breakfast they gave us one granola bar each, and a bottle of water. I highly do NOT RECOMMEND this stay here. I was very upset with the rate of cleanliness here for the simple fact that I couldn’t sleep with out scratching my skin due to the bed bug bites. I will definitely be calling corporate and discussing this matter to be fixed ASAP !
It was a nice place to stay at overnight. They had a continental breakfast that had really good food considering it was free. The rooms and lobby themselves are very modern and luxurious. The pool is freshwater and heated and the gym was spacious and contained personal televisions on each machine.
We were only at the Springhill Suites for one night but it was a great experience. The rooms are stylish and clean, not a lot of noise from room to room or coming in from the hallway. Very comfortable. But most importantly the employees were WONDERFUL. We had made a mistake with our booking and General Manager was incredibly kind and accommodating as she helped us sort it out. It really meant a lot to be taken care of like that even after WE had made the booking error. We will definitely be back next time were in the Beacon area.
This hotel was absolutely perfect: spacious, clean, well-staffed. I only wish there was a jacuzzi but the pool was very warm and big enough for all of us; also, the room bathroom didn’t have a light switch equipped w a nightlight (which is a nice detail I’ve encountered in other hotels) but the room was otherwise perfect and nicely arranged.
The hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly and couldnt have been more helpful. Our room was very modern and the beds were comfortable with nice linens. The scenery in the surrounding area was spectacular and with the changing of the leaves the colours were fabulousWe wished we had longer to visit so we could have explored activities such as hiking/biking etc
The suite was beautiful. You could see the effort and care put into keeping the room clean and maintained. The staff was great. I live in NJ and had a car accident an hour before check-out and when I called to inform them I would be checking out late the front desk did not hesitate to ask if I was okay, where I was located, and they would send the shuttle to pick me up immediately. They offered me a longer stay at no charge to gather myself and it was greatly appreciated. Beautiful suite and great staff.
This was my first time staying at a SpringHill Suites (even though Im quite familiar with the Marriott brand) and it did not disappoint! The suite was spacious and comfortable, allowed a very generous and well planned work area and leisure area. Suites were well planned and modern-look designed. All the staff was extremely friendly and would go out of their way to make sure you were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
Floor/Ceiling above not very insulated for noise. Could hear people simply walking in the room above me. Very loud. Happened in the last two stays.Should be built better.Other than that, the hotel is great for food and drink. Rooms are designed very well. Great bathroom.
The location was great. It was easily accessible to restaurants, Walmart and other local shops. The hotel is fairly new so the rooms look amazing. They were spacious and provides plenty of house, cooking and cleaning equipment along with extra blankets and pillows. Complimentary breakfast was included and their food was surprisingly good. Utensils and food would run out quickly but theyd refill it ASAP.
We stayed at this hotel for two nites. The hotel is fairly new. It was immaculately clean. Bedding was crisp and fresh. The room was surprisingly large with two queen beds, a sofa bed, and trundle. There was a nice desk area with plenty of charging areas and outlets. The room had a microwave and frig, plus coffee service. The breakfast buffet was far better than normal hotel fare. Every staff member we encountered was cheerful and helpful. Would definitely return!
Very clean and well located property (right off of I-84 in New York), if the property is not new, it certainly looks it. Professional and friendly staff that are easy to engage with. Co-located with a Residence Inn on the same site. Good lounge area that also serves beverages and food into the evening hours. Complimentary social hour was a good selection,(and unexpected! - but that might be because of the connection with the Residence Inn). Internet was strong and fast. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again in the future. Nothing but a good experience.
Had a great time celebrating my granddaughters birthday. We had 6 little girls , two rooms. Every part of our stay wAs great! Had a little gathering in the dining area! Used the pool , enjoyed the breakfast! Every staff member was terrific! Would stay here again for sure!
Staff was wonderful. Stayed for the weekend for a family wedding. Hotel met our accommodations, gym had newest equipment, clean and provided towels. there was a pool although I did not use it. Room was clean, but rectangular. Bathroom felt oddly placed because was also rectangular. Decor was very nice with comfy beds. Would highly recommend.
We were on a week long college tour through New York with our teenagers and were so pleased with our stay at Springhill Suites in Fishkill. The room was spotless, the employees kind and gracious, and the color scheme in the lobby/dining area relaxing. The bed was exceedingly comfortable and our room had a lot of space and comfort. I was able to do laundry in a very clean laundry room and we were all able to work out in a very nice exercise room. I hope my kids pick a college nearby because my husband and I would absolutely stay at this hotel again!!
We just spent two nights here while visiting the area. The hotel and room are in fantastic condition. The room was very comfortable and well maintained. The staff was very nice and we actually felt like our platinum status was acknowledged here with the room selection etc. Our only problem was the flashing light from the fire detector in the room that kept us awake half the night. The staff tried to come up with a solution, but unfortunately it didnt help much. I do appreciate that they tried. Other than that, its a great property.
Clean, quiet, comfortable and well run hotel. Best I’ve experienced of this class and I stay in hotels about 30 nights a year. Breakfast was very good - fresh fruit, cheeses and 5 hot dishes. Pool was great after hiking all day, Fire pit at night. Happy hour provided free meat and cheese snacks, not just snack mix. Awesome experience overall.
We were driving through the area and just needed a place to stay for the night. We made an excellent choice! Very modern, very clean. Nicest room I have ever stayed in, had a great layout - very roomy. Staff was very friendly. Complementary breakfast buffet was the best Ive ever seen yet! Would most definitely stay again if ever in the area! Highly recommend.
My wife and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary in Fishkill and decided to stay at the Springhill Suites. We had a fabulous weekend and were treated with respect. The rooms were incredibly clean, spacious, and had all of the amenities needed for the weekend. The breakfast staff was fabulous! They were on top of their game by making sure everything was stocked. We were repeatedly asked if we needed anything which made us feel that we mattered. It was indeed a fabulous weekend.
We had to stay at this hotel for an extended period of time due to work being done at our home. We couldnt have picked a better place to stay. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable, the staff is all amazing, the coffee and breakfast is great. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Stayed here on a recommendation from a friend for a quick trip and all I can say is WOW!!.. We were greeted by the most friendliest front desk staff when when we walked in( Im sorry I dont remember the names) but I do remember the manager Lisa because she went out of her way to welcome us.Rooms were perfect and clean. Pool area was great!! Had a drink at the at the bar and again staff was Fantastic!! Breakfast was so good. So many options ( even healthy) were available. I would stay here in heart beat. Great job guys!! well be back. Thank you.
Good value, clean, updated rooms. Good service all around. Bar is spendy but comfortable, manager receptions are pretty good. Small but serviceable meeting spaces and a nice, spacious lobby with lots of seating and a patio with a fire pit. Ive enjoyed a few stays here and I know Ill be back.
Everyone was so welcoming and the lobby so comfortable. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable! This was our first cousins weekend and we will be coming back to stay every year! We were all so impressed with our accommodations at Springhill Suites in Fishkill. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!
This is a good all around hotel. The hotel is new, and I love the way the rooms are setup with USB charging port almost everywhere! My only complaint is the height of the shower head. For a brand new hotel it would be great to have a shower where someone who is six feet tall does not have to bend over to wash their hair!
This seems to be a new property that’s still has a brand new feeling. Very large well lit parking lot. Very nice lobby with a bar inside & has several chain restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly the room is very nice. The shower has the body jets for your lower back. Breakfast buffet was delicious
I wish we couldve stayed longer. We were only there overnight during a road trip, but this place is wonderful. It is new, so it is very clean and well appointed, modern and stylish. Our front desk experience was professional and pleasant. Not having a reservation we were lucky to get a room as they were almost completely booked. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The only down side was the sound of the large air handler on the roof above us. Nothing we couldnt deal with, but noticeable when you first lay down to sleep. You enter the bathroom from a large sliding barn door, which I loved. However, if someone has to turn the bathroom light on during the night it may bother the other members of your party as the barn door is not solid, just has shaded glass; and the location of the bathroom door is right at the end of the beds. Other than that, the room is amazing. There is a large walk in closet with plenty of space for hanging clothes and this is where youll find the ironing board and iron; as well as extra pillows, blankets, etc. There is no hair dryer, so bring one if you need one. There is a small refrigerator and a microwave as well as a desk and couch. The beds are very comfortable and have modern style reading lights attached to the headboards. The complimentary breakfast was good. Your typical eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, etc., but no bacon! What?! HaHa! My only complaint with breakfast was that there was no refrigerator offering milk cartons; you had to get a cup and use the milk provided for the cereal, which wasnt as cold as I wouldve liked. The food was good and hot and the seating area was large and clean. Overall, a wonderful experience in a clean and modern hotel.
Amazing and stylish hotel. Very modern. Staff is very friends. Breakfast is wonderful! not your typical bagels and coffee. Wide selection and variety. We have stayed here numerous times. Very quiet surroundings. The only thing that bothers me is the bathroom door. Because it has an almost glass pane, but its security style so you cant see in or out, but the light shines right through! so if someone uses the bathroom at night, the light still fills up the room.
Stayed at the hotel Saturday febuary 16 with my daughter-in-law and my four grandchildren. Excellent price for a excellent hotel. Cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, bathrooms were great. Played board games in lobby by fire. Pull out couch was a trundle bed, fine for kids but not adults. Still 5 stars all the way.
The stay was great. When you walk in, the lobby is clean and modern. The rooms are clean and everything is provided. The total cost was great considering 5 people stayed in one room. Also, the highest number of people that can stay in one room Comfortable, is 6. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to my friends.
When we walked into the room we noticed the air conditioner was turned down to 63 degrees. We left the room and came back later and noticed that the room had a smell and the room was likely left cooler to make it less noticeable. There was also food residue on the table and hair in the shower.
The hotel is modern, comfortable and convenient. My overall experience with the hotel has been very good, the breakfast, amenities and staff are all positive. The room is well appointed, spacious and set up well for business or leisure. I do a lot of traveling and I would recommend SpringHill Suites as one of the best hotels I haves stayed at recently.
Great Hotel!!! Wonderful staff, great complementary breakfast, rooms are specious, beds are Very comfortable, couldnt ask for a better lobby to just relax..please check it out. It wont disappoint!! We were told the hotel has several nights during the week where they offer a different complementary menu with food and drink. We were not able to partake because our stay was to short.
Room was very nice and pretty clean. The Breakfast area was the reason for the three stars. Everything needed refilled as we watched the workers in the back laughing and jamming to loud music. When we were sitting at our table finally a worker emerged replacing bread with no gloves on. They had fresh fruit which would be great if they had cleaned it properly. It makes you wonder what is going on with the food in the back!! I would skip breakfast here.
Stayed for: Short biz trip, Meeting time/place final sync^catch via / Skype chat msg or e-Mail comm is mandatory, but no meeting in guest room, type trip, thsi SHS is the best fit / new style hotel. Drive up 1.5 hrs from Newark airport, next day 8 or 9 am check out, this hotel is heaven. Strongly recommendable.... Breakfast is great, NO need to go out or old type order + wait for delivery type: Save time lots, thus you can sleep longer. Hotel is quite new: December or early January opened. WiFi band width is 8Mbps to even I got 20Mbps from measuring tool, not so many hotel could offer this in WiFi. Even longer day stay, I might use here. Intersting new style, this hotel is joint loby for both SpringHill Suite & Residence Inn. Cost saving by sharing common part between is new try, I viewed. Smart try. I wish this flys and open up new hotel style. Only surprise was I was asked to show id at check in time, which I never had last couple years. I might be viewed starange, now a days of early retirement age, working longer service year. One thing: I could not rate dining part because I had sizable before landing food because of first class, plus sleep is highest priority at check in time, skipped even drinkng bar area, end of loggy. Looks great. Hope I should have drinks, next stay.
This is a very good hotel. Friendly staff, new building and spacious rooms. Everything is very clean. Nice covered pool, well-equipped gym and professional guest laundry. Best of all: a staff member came by the rooms in the hotel to distribute delicious freshly baked cookies for free!
We visited the area to hike around Lake Minnewaska. Due to the fact that it was college graduation weekend, we needed to find nearby lodging, preferably modern and clean. This was a great find. Even able to use points to get the room with minimum cost. It is a little hard to find but GPS helped us. The beds were great and the bathroom was stylized nicely. I love also the free chuppa lollipops at registration. The breakfast was very good, especially since they had fresh pineapple and melon. Ive had better eggs and sausage before. The waffle maker was a great touch. Highly recommend to return to here if you dont mind staying at a chain and want to stay at a new clean hotel
My colleagues and I stayed at this hotel for a work conference. The hotel was well-maintained and clean both inside and out. There was ample parking and it was aesthetically very attractive. The rooms had large bathrooms and were equipped with very spacious closets. The front desk staff is wonderful! However I do not suggest this hotel if you are planning on staying in a room with more than one other person. Do not let the pictures on the website fool you. It sleeps two very comfortably, but beyond that...not so much. Based on their website pictures and room descriptions we were under the impression that the room would sleep three COMFORTABLY as it touts that it could sleep 5! We were shocked to find that the pull-out was the farthest thing from sleepable. It was a flimsy piece of foam posing as a mattress laid on top of a plywood pullout case that laid directly on the floor! To add insult to injury it would sleep a toddler comfortably, at best. We called the front desk as soon as we uncovered this issue and requested that we receive a more appropriate room. We were told that there are no other rooms available and that they would send up some extra padding for the mattress. The padding they sent to appease us was even more pitiful; it was nothing more than a puffy mattress protector. My colleague, a grown woman, had to sleep on a poor excuse for a convertible bed. Your website falsely marketed the comfort and quality of our stay and we were quite disheartened when your staff attempted to pacify us with a mattress cover. I expected more from a Marriott.
New, clean and amazing Marriott addition for this area. If you are booking hotel for I84, Poughkeepsie, Fishkill or anywhere in this area, choose this hotel. Its spacious, contemporary with complimentary services that are amazing. Easy on-off from I84, great value and free dinners on weekdays. Breakfast selections were fresh and constantly replenished. All-day coffee, large tea selection. Large meetup areas for family reunions and big groups, but cozy and quiet enough for couples. Liked the happy hour with wine/beer choices.
Great place to rest, sleep & relax with friends and family. Staff is friendly willing to assist from answering inquires to helping a guest who is handicapped open a bottle to ..Remembering they need plastic utensils for wrists that are not weight bearing. I am always recognized by name with a smile. Rooms large, neat and clean Lobby large comfortableEnjoy the amenities
Springhill suites is very new and modern. The rooms are spacious, the closet is a huge walk-in closet. Did not hear any noise from other rooms. Mattresses were a little uncomfortable, and the placement of the television makes it hard to view if you are in a room with 2 queens, however it does swivel. Nice breakfast selection and the bar had some nice appetizers. It is located close to Walmart, fast-food places, Cracker Barrel and the Red-line café which is a definite must visit.I would stay here again. Check-in and check- out was efficient.
Stayed one night for a short trip to Beacon and this hotel was about 15 minutes from there by car. Room was clean and modern and had the usual amenities for a new hotel, USB sockets, etc, iron, ironing board, though was missing an in room safe. Hot breakfast and coffee/tea is nice addition. All the staff we interacted with seemed nice too. Would stay again if I was looking for a hotel in the area. Did not get a chance to try the indoor pool and gym but both looked useable.
Ive stayed in dozens of Marriotts/Springhill Suites/Residince Inns, etc. Dozens of each. This might be the nicest one Ive ever stayed in. Great decor. Very welcoming. Huge rooms. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast (and large sitting area). Its rare when you go to a hotel and then kind of look forward to going back there again. This one is at the top of that list.
We were traveling across the state of Pennsylvania and into upstate New York when we hit a very dangerous snowstorm. Our usual drive of about 6 1/2 hours turned into an 18 hour ordeal. By the time we arrived in Fishkill it was 4:30 am. We were warmly welcomed by Bernadette who was the staff person at the check-in desk. We were offered a hot cup of fresh coffee and snacks before we registered and were directed to our suite. Needless to say we were exhausted and totally appreciated and moved by her thoughtfulness. Our suite was clean, fresh and it felt so wonderful to be in a warm and safe place. The bed linens were very crisp and clean and the bathroom was immaculate. I would definitely return to the Springhill Suites on my next trip to New York.
We had a group of boys staying on the 2nd floor and someone from the 1st floor came to us telling us we were making a lot of noise. we werent! we spoke quietly and was not jumping at all, he complained several times, the hotel also told me he was complaining, we went down the the lobby for over an hr, we came back up and 5 min later he comes telling us we are making a lot of noise, cursing me and bad mouthing. the hotel finally moved him to a different room. my kids were scared to sleep. scared this guy would comeback. the next morning we went swimming, in middle a hotel person tells me we were making too much noise in the morning around 9:30am, because there was a business meeting taking place under our room . this is not an hotel for vacation. Im a gold member and never at any Marriott hotel that ive been too, have i had this problem. very disappointed with this hotel. didnt enjoy our vacation, will never go back to this hotel. Not a Hotel for vacation
While the hotel is new and the rooms are comfortable, the average customer service experience put it at a 3 star level hotel. If they go back to the basics in terms of high level hospitality training and add additional hot items on the breakfast menu it could easily be a 4 star. Beautiful hotel but work to do in the customer experience department. Nothing bad but I cant honestly think of anything good either and frankly thats a problem for a hotel with so much competition in the area.
It was my first time at Springhill suites. I stayed in one of the rooms which included a couch, desk and open living space. The room was spotless!! There was not a stain or discoloration to be seen anywhere( even in the grout in the bathroom). Its really the little things that count. The amenities where great. The gym was perfectly functional for its size and the indoor pool definitely makes that space that much more worthwhile. They have definitely stepped up the game for the local hotels in the area.
I was at the SpringHill Suites Fishkill for a wedding. The lobby area was warm and inviting. There is a fire place and the décor is very modern. The area is also extremely spacious. So spacious that we were able to have two after parties in the lobby - one small one the day everyone arrived, and one larger one after the wedding. We ordered pizzas and drinks and hung out until the wee hours of the morning. The staff was great in providing help, utensils, paper plates and cups - and even brought out bowls of chips. I stayed in a King room. The room is spacious and the layout is done in a way where it doesnt just feel like one big room. The bar/fridge/microwave are near the entryway - you dont see it from the bed. The pull out sofa did not look like pull out sofa. It was large and had a large ottoman. The room was furnished by West Elm and had a luxurious feel. The closet has shelving which s a nice touch. The AC unit has a bench/rack over it so you can place things on top of it or sit on it and it also hides the AC unit. The bathroom is spacious with a nice layout also. There isnt a tub but a shower stall with glass doors. I feel like this is more practical and takes up less space. The selection at breakfast is much better than what youll see at other hotels providing continental breakfast. They also include iced coffee at their coffee bar! The dining area is huge and kept very clean. They provide games - jenga, puzzles, uno, cards etc so that you can just hang out downstairs when you dont want to hang out in the room. The laundry room is clean, has a tv, chairs and a folding area. Also there are plenty of machines and dryers. Most places only provide 2 washers and 2 dryers and they are usually already in use. I didnt have to wait. The pool is large and the pool area is clean. The outdoors had a fire pit and 2 grills. I wouldve liked to use them but we didnt have time. I actually wanted to extend another night but the hotel was fully committed as there was another wedding party checking in that day. This property is near a Walmart Supercenter (I made 4 trips there in 3 days), at only 4 minutes away. It is also near a Cracker Barrel - which I didnt get to go to but - who doesnt love CB? There is plenty to do in the area and is close to hiking and shopping areas. I would definitely stay here again and recommend. Also - the staff in all areas - super friendly and super helpful. Thanks Springhill Suites!!
Warm, knowledgeable staff. Comfortable amenities in a stylish atmosphere. Rooms were neat, clean and well stocked with extra blankets and pillows. Charging ports for your electronics even if you had more than one. Liked that it’s off the busy strip of Route 9 but still easily accessible to stores etc
I highly recommend the Springhill Suites in Fishkill, NY. The staff is the friendliest you will find anywhere and the hotel is immaculate. Everything pops the minute you walk in the door. The facility is immaculate, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the fitness gym is better than most local gyms, and there is an indoor pool. Breakfast is incredible, and three nights a week there is a gathering in the lobby area with finger food. The hotel is conveniently located with lots of shops and restaurants near by. Really, there is nothing more I could ask for out of a hotel. Two thumbs up definitely!!
Very clean new property. Stylish room, comfortable. One of the more impressive features was a fitness room with VERY up to date gym-quality equipment. Frequently Ill seek out a nearby Planet Fitness for a morning workout. With the quality of the equipment here I did not need to do that, saving precious time in the morning.
Came to this hotel for a quick little getaway not far from home. This hotel had everything from an extremely friendly staff, extremely clean property and rooms as well as everything else we needed to have a relaxing comfortable stay. We definitely will be returning for another night here in the future.
Best Marriot by far! It was so clean, super modern! Everyone was so nice and helpful! The breakfast was delicious! We stayed here just to get away for the weekend! It was amazing! The pool and fitness center were great! No complaints at all! Marriot went above and beyond our expectations for this new hotel!
I really do not want to post anything good about this hotel Im trying to keep this little gem a secret all to myself. ......ugh if I must ! We travel a bit, this hotel is the cleanest we stayed in...ever ! Our room was like we where the first people ever in it,that clean ! The staff is bend over backwards to help with anything, the breakfast included is a breakfast the full bar is clean and not transient and a pool ,just a very pleasant, clean, safe and comfortable stay for all...Im sure youll like it we do !
Cancelled my 3 night reservation 2 months ago. They charged the entire amount to an old bank account causing overdraft fees. I called and gave cancellation confirmation number which the manager said matched. She said shed cancel the charges but it could take 2-10 days for it to reflect. Not even an apology or compensation offered. Very disappoint esp bc I used this hotel often for business.
Although I enjoyed my stay at the Suites Fishkill, it was quite expensive. This came as a shock to me since it was in a deserted area to me. The hotel was either newly renovated or a new hotel. You can smell NEW all over the place. It felt safe. Breakfast was good. I was too tired and too rushed to check out all items on the menu. When the price drops, I will be back. Im trying not to use a 3rd party to save money but I might have to.
I love the Marriott brand! This hotel is convenient to the highway. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Hotel is very clean and beds are comfortable. This hotel is very popular and can get a bit noisy - and for light sleepers, request a room away from the elevators. Also, it’s located in an area where if you forget something you are within a short drive to WalMart and Ulta. A convenience store/gas station is across the street. A movie theater is close by. For those visiting West Point, it’s about a 40 minutes drive.
I would’ve given this hotel 5 stars based on everything but the comfort of the beds-hard. I don’t want to focus on the negative so I’ll list the positives. First is the staff. When I called ahead, the male employee on the phone was beyond helpful and personable and same for the female employee who checked us in. She told us where everything was and offered her assistance if needed. Our room was on a corner just around from the elevator with no neighbors on either side (just across the hall). The layout wasnt typical. The bathroom had a large sliding door unlike the usual layout with the bathroom up front. The bathroom was across from the two beds. If you turned right there was the toilet, straight ahead was the sink/vanity, and to the left was the shower which had jets down lower which were at the perfect height for me (I’m 5’10”) to massage my back or hips. I noticed though that after the shower, the floor would get extremely wet even with a mat, because the shower door opened outward over the floor. I liked the two flushing options on toilet to save water. There was a good sized closet with shelving to the right perfect for holding shoes or small items. There was also a long slotted bench under the window good for holding 2 large suitcases side by side. There was a Keurig coffee maker on a counter above the microwave which was above the smaller fridge. Those appliances were located across from the entrance to the right. To the left was a long pull out couch with an ottoman which had a large wooden tray with handles handy for carrying breakfast up to the room if you didn’t feel like eating in the dining area. Across from the couch was a desk area which had a sliding partition. This desk was basically the division between sleeping and lounging areas. Not a bad design. Different than what I’m used to, but the only negative I could think of is when others are sleeping, the sliding door to bathroom and lights might wake up the others. It was definitely roomy enough for 2 adults and a 9 and 12 yo. We used the pool twice. Large and not too deep. Plenty of seating around with chaise loungers, chairs, and a table. There were towels available on every chair back or in shelves at one end. The pool had large walk-in stairs. Breakfast was good-waffles, good coffee, and other usual items. There was plenty of seating and the food was setup nicely. If not for the beds hurting my hips , I would have 100% loved everything. There was even an outdoor fire with seating.
We were traveling from ME to VA and wanted to find a mid-point stop while traveling and selected Fishkill. The SpringHill Suite in Fishkill was great and I will definitely leverage this location in the future. Why? The hotel itself was wonderful - nice staff, clean and modern amentities, onsite parking. It is conveniently located off I84, had several eating establishments nearby which were opened to 10pm. Finding your way to hotel in the dark was a little daunting as it is located to the back of the business park, but not a problem. Just be prepared. This was a great stop on our trip but if I had business or leisure in the area I would have gladly stayed here for multiple nights.
Everything about this property is top notch and brand new. Staff is well trained and efficient . Rooms are spacious and the closet is amazing for a hotel room . Large bathroom with sufficient counter space. Clean common areas and generous free breakfast. Internet was reliable . Pool was small.
This is a beautiful hotel and spotlessly clean. Stayed 12/11/17 and will definitely stay here again. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, great breakfast, fun happy hour with food, this hotel has it all. Thank you especially to Theresa, Christina, and Amon who were so welcoming and all the wonderful people that made our stay pleasant.
If youre looking for a squeaky-clean, well appointed room, this is it. The modern design of the room was both stunning and functional. The sleeping area and work area was separated by frosted glass so I was able to work on the computer while my roommates got some shuteye. The complimentary breakfast had a vast array of items available for all diets (Im vegetarian and had more than enough choices to satisfy me), and we did not leave feeling hungry. My one warning would be that if you take the stairs to the upper floors, be aware that there are two doors at each landing... one for the Residence Inn side, one for the Springhill Suites side of the hotel. The second floor is numbered from 200 up for the Residence Inn, 2200 and up for Springhill Suites. I thought Id gone into the twilight zone when I went through the wrong door!
Having called the hotel directly and not use of the Internet to book my stay, the desk under booked me by 1 day which caused an increase in the rate for the final 2 days (explained to my as an overstay) so the cost of my 4 day stay increased by approximately $200 or more with taxes and fees. I thought the rooms were great, but housekeeping dropped the ball on cleaning the room during our stay, no soap, bed not made, The room was clean when we arrived. No problem overlooking anything except the staff that booked our stay and laying blame in my court.
The facilitys appearance is quite nice, convenient location for travelers passing through, great hospitality at the happy hour and nice breakfast. The room was clean and spacious, but there are some serious design flaws. There is a work space in the living area, but with a glass partition between the work space and beds, its impossible for one person to sleep while the other is working with the desk light on. However, even worse, the large sliding glass door to the bathroom, directly in front of the beds, also pours light from the bathroom into the sleeping area. If one person is a night owl and/or an early riser, the other person gets a full dose of military barracks living when the bathroom is in use. If youre a single traveler, this wouldnt be a problem, but for couples or people sharing rooms, the design is entirely thoughtless. Not a restful night. With all of the other hotels in the immediate area, I would definitely stay elsewhere on my next visit to the area.
The best Marriott I have ever stayed at. Most of the Marriott properties in the NorthEast are frozen in 1985. The Front Desk staff at this location was trained differently than at the other Marriotts. I have had to go behind the desk at some Marriotts to complete my check in because they are clueless. Here, they are professional and always pleasant as they should be. Mobile check in is handled as it should be. I stay over 200 nights a year for business, I look forward to coming here.
The room was clean, contemporary and styled very nicely. In the Kingbed Suite you have a desk, a pullout couch and a full bathroom with large shower and electric fogless mirror (very cool). The front desk service was very courteous and helpful, overall exactly the experience Im looking for in a hotel plus some nice surprises.
Start with the good:The hotel is brand new and has a very modern feel. There is a bar with an outdoor seating area with propane heaters that is very nice. The rooms have a very modern European style that is very attractive, and have a fridge, microwave, and Keurig in the room as well as a desk and couch. Now the bad:The builders obviously cut costs by removing all of the sound insulation from the rooms. If you want a good nights sleep seek accommodations elsewhere! I was up until 3:30am with the noise of neighboring TVs, talking, footsteps, doors closing, etc. I called the front desk several times and asked them to contact the other rooms and nothing improved. Ill bet you could hear a whisper through the wall its so thin. I even had the white noise app on my phone turned up to max and I still heard everything. Not recommended unless you medicate to fall asleep.
My family and I needed some time off from the city (NYC) and Sprinhill Suites in FishKill was just perfect for us. It was quite, the pool, fitness center and combined with all the other ammonites made our stay there extremely confortable. I have to add that they have complementary snacks in the evening (from mon - wed) and its not just chips and salsa; we had cheese burgers, pasta, etc. If you need to relax and get away from the noise this place its perfect. By the way, the building is beautiful and I think its just a year old!
Hard to find this place, but the room was comfortable and room decor excellent. Breakfast mediocre at best. Expensive for its location. Not a lot of good food options - mostly chain restaurants in the area. No safe in the room if that is a requirement. But - all in all a pleasant and relaxed and friendly (wespecially kid friendly, apparently) place to stay.

2022-02-27I had a great experience with one of the front desk receptionist. Clara went out of her way to get my food delivery that was delivered to the wrong area of the hotel by ubereats. She moved in silence not even telling me that she was going to assist me and then just appeared with my order. That kind of care spoke to her character and I was truly grateful for her. She is a great asset to your brand.

2022-05-27The rooms are clean and modern. Politeness of the staff here was hit or miss, kinda feels like its a chore for them to say hello when I walk by. My largest complaint about this place is that the coffee bar downstairs is not good. They only do fresh coffee during breakfast, and for the rest of the day you have to use keurig machines. Later at night they actually take the keurig machines away, if you can believe that. To make matters worse the coffee makers in the rooms are total junk, and arent even clean enough to use. Are you guys aware that literally every Hilton branded hotel has fresh coffee available 24/7? You really need to upgrade the coffee makers in the rooms, or at least clean/replace them. On a positive note this location has great wifi speed, which will come in handy as cell signal is nearly non-existent from all carriers. Location is safe and convenient, just kind of hidden behind some other buildings. Theres a nice little lake near the parking lot, which I had a view of from my room.

2022-05-25As usual our stay was amazing! Special thanks to Jennifer who keep our room clean, Junior who was everywhere doing everything and to Brian and Britney at the front desk who always had an answer to everything!

2021-10-17We booked this hotel last minute for a family apple picking trip and we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were nicely updated and super clean. Staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good. The gym was nice and the pool looked decent although we didn’t use it. The hotel bar was closed due to pandemic .

2021-10-12Stayed for 2 nights in a 2 queen room with a couch. Room was clean, beds were very comfortable. Breakfast bar was well stocked. The room was perfect for us since we ate our meals in due to trying to be safe with Covid, Having the additional lounge area allowed us to be very comfortable. Only complaints were limited tv stations that worked, and the room was very dark, Either need higher wattage bulbs or an additional light in the room.

2021-12-14Love this place! Arrived late, was given the last room in the hotel. It was an invalid suite. Very spacious, clean, comfortable, what else can you expect from a room. The shower was large and the handles around the shower made taking one a breeze. Will be looking for springhill Suites next time I use a hotel, which will be during Christmas holidays

2021-08-08New and clean. Nice fitness center and laundry room. Serving full breakfast which is nice. Rooms are nice with a small fridge, small microwave and a desk area. Couch doubles as a twin bed and has a trundle for a second twin bed. We were able to sleep 4 adults comfortably.Only issue was there was no bedding for the second twin but hotel staff quickly met our needs. Of the hotels in this general vicinity, this may be the nicest. Would definitely choose this one over the neighboring Courtyard.

2021-07-31Great hotel property that lived up to standards of the Marriott brand. The room is large, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was also good with various choices. The lobby is very inviting and has a good ambiance. Helpful staff. This hotel had the highest rating based on people’s reviews which was the reason we checked into the hotel and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend this place for short or long stays!!
