Do not get a used vehicle from them. They will knowingly sell you a vehicle with issues/problems and will put in almost no effort towards fixing said issues when brought up to them. Additionally the sales people will make verbal promises that they will not follow through on.Got a vehicle that had 2 known issues that were told to the sales rep prior to purchase (tiny circular sized crack in the windshield and issues with the electronic door locks). Instead of fixing these issues themselves I was given the name and number of a glass repair person (why do I have to do the leg work to set that up?!) and when I had gone in to get the door locks fixed they stated there were no mention in the sales rep note that that was a problem and brought up at the time of sale. That was literally one of the first things that was noted when test driving it. Now, because there are no notes from the sales rep (who had been previously let go I might add) they have dragged their feet in addressing this issue. Had recently spoken to either the GM or Lead sales rep and still haven’t received any acknowledgment from them that they will cover the expense for this know issue even after I had just spent hundreds of dollars on wear and tear issues at their service center. Extremely frustrating. Lastly, make sure any verbal promises made by the sales rep are put in writing. The car came with a donut as a spare tire but the sales rep had offered to have a full all seasonal tire be provided when the vehicle was purchased. Unsurprisingly it ended up with just the donut as the spare. Shortly after when I did need to replace a tire (was my fault, had hit a curb 🤦♂️) again it was a hassle to deal with.Otherwise, repair shop does decent work. Best people there are the administrative staff in my opinion.UPDATE: It’s been over a week since I had received the response below from Spurr regarding my review. I have yet to receive a phone call from them.
I came in for an oil change and an inspection.$462 and 3 hours later I was done.the service manager told me my brakes wouldnt pass inspection.i needed new rotors and pads.i purchased this vehicle in June of 2017 and it has approximately 26,000 miles on it.being 71 years old and an owner of many vehicles, Ive been a car, truck,ice fan most of my life.as a skilled tradesman as a welder and fabricator for 40 years Ive met and known many other skilled tradesman in all the trades including auto mechanic.two of my brother in laws were highly skilled mechanics.i just stopped changing my oil when I purchased this truck.i know what a worn brake rotor looks like.so, after stewing about it in the waiting room for a bit I asked him if I could see the bad rotor.he agreed,and we went out to the service bay.i could see from several feet away that the outside of the rotor would pass inspection.(it was still on the wheel) so,he motioned to me to look behind it with a flashlight, the tech had to remove the caliper mounting bracket, while I was there, so I could see the backside.if a brake caliper is working properly,wear should be even on the front and back.i still couldnt see the back. Anyway IT WAS THE LAST DAY OF THEOF THE MONTH i needed thesticker! my blood pressure was going up.couldnt argue the point,wanted out of there!
Unfortunately, I didnt qualify for the $3000 Costco rebate, Which was keeping me from getting the deal I wanted on a new Chevy Bolt EV. I had contacted about 10 dealerships within a 60 mile radius with leftover 2020s in stock. Out of all of the contacts I had made, Ryan Dwyer was by far the most enthusiastic about getting me into a Bolt, for the amount I was willing to spend. He is genuinely excited about EVs, knows the ins and outs abut life with an EV, and was a great help, when it came to explaining the very complex user interface of the car. We leased an Equinox . It wont be here until next week.Most cars are being bought before they hit the lot.Although it seemed like it took forever Pam was able to find a car we both like with almost all the bells and whistles we have on the Buick Invision. I hope I like it as well as I do the Buick.
This is the 2nd car I have leased. I never had a problem and I always was satisfied with Spurr. This is the 1st oil change with my 2nd car. Friday after I was there. I had a pressure alert on my car. It said pressure low 22 in front left tire. I was able to go right to a g m dealership on Marsh rd East Rochester. They helped me right away. While looking at my car the man that helped me discovered my tires were not reset. I had no windshield wiper fluid ( I was alerted of that to on my car) . It was actually my left back tire.I hope they put oil in it seeing that’s what I was there for. I called and spoke to George and he said yes that should have all been done . Not happy. I have never had a problem till now. Your tech who worked on my car did not do his job. I will be going else where from now on for oil changes.
My truck was repaired under warranty, i was told by george that it would take a while, so he had the shuttle take me home and they picked me up when my truck was done. im very pleased with spurrs service, thats one reason i prefer to buy from spurr . even the shuttle driver was very pleasant , great experience!
I have known Andrea for over 25 years, I was very glad to put my first new car purchase in her hands. She began the process with me while she was on vacation (talk about dedication!) and had open and clear communication with me the entire time. There were no questions left unanswered, I felt no pressure, and I have already recommended others to stop by and see her!
A photo inspection of my vehicle was required as part of the process of insuring it. An employee (works in the collision shop) kindly took time to complete the process on very short notice. If he had not have helped me I would have faced unpleasant consequences. I will not forget his kindness and willingness to help someone in need. I was able to drop my car off the night before for service in the morning. After calling to check in I learned that my car had not been assessed by late afternoon. However, I anticipated being without the car all day and the staff was upfront and honest with the delay. They were able to finish the repair quickly and I was on my way by early evening. Thank you for your hard work and honesty.
I was so impressed with the dealership. I had somehow confuse making an appointment online for an oil change and an inspection. When I arrived at the dealership and learned of the mishap, The manager immediately told me not to worry about a thing. He knew that I was going out of town and made sure that I got my oil and filter change, rotated the tires, new windshield wiper blades, and an inspection completed within a couple of hours. I apologize for not knowing the managers name. He gave me his card and I am traveling now and don’t have it with me. I absolutely am going to work with Spurr when my lease is up. Kristen Noble
I bought a new car and needed a photo inspection and they were the only ones to get me the earliest! It was pouring rain and people were driving very slow and I called to say I was gonna be little late and they said it was ok! Very friendly, clean and quick service! Will definitely go there again and recommend their services!!!
I am not only likely to recommend Spurr to others; In fact my family has purchased cars from Spurr and is most likely to do so again. My wife and I will continue to be buying and leasing vehicles from Spurr. We have never been disappointed with any service they provide. They are an outstanding organization!!
The salesperson made very little effort. The truck was dirty and needed to be detailed. They said it would be detailed and ready for me on Thursday. I asked for update through text and did not receive a response. On Friday, I called and received a text saying they were with a customer and would call back. I did receive a call back. I stopped in and was informed that the truck had not been touched.The customer service was very disappointing. Spurr has very little regard for their customers time.
Hello. I bought my truck from you 2 years ago....i purchased the undercoat package from you....bring the truck in....u will touch up or re spray as needed...last year they used a few paint cans. Pretty bad job....was informed that if I get inspection with my re-spray in 2020....job would be better because they will have lift time set aside....not true....went in Monday 7/27 for inspection and re-spray...even worse job. I will be more than happy to supply you with many many photos of terrible work...i tried calling James to inform him on Wednesday 7/29 (needed a day to cool off) James never called back....i am coming from Buffalo....i have 8 more years of this to deal with.....exhausted with it already. At this point of time only care about money. Have no inventory for customers looking for new inventory. And used inventory is above 15k. If you are looking for a cheaper car look somewhere else. They refuse to update website and honestly staff has poor communication. Management is aware of all issues but refuses to acknowledge them.
Dominic and Steve were fantastic. I live 400 miles away and could not find a dealership closer to get the new Corvette. I was a little nervous being so far away. Steve Bruckman called me on a Thursday night a few months after I ordered the car and told me the car had arrived. He said it would be prepped and I could pick it up early Saturday or Monday. I asked Steve if I could jump on a bus and pick it up in the morning he said it was his day off but he would make it happen. Eleven hours later I arrived at the dealership they arranged for me to have transportation to the bank because the bank was closed when I found out. When I got back from the bank my car was outside ready for me and Steve came in on his day off to make sure everything was fine. Great customer service and if you have ever purchased a new car from a dealer as I have you know it is never that smooth and never that fast. These guys really care about customer satisfaction.
Serious lack of communication my adivsor intially was Dennis. I dropped car off on Monday 8/30 at 6:30 am after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment. I called around 2 pm since never heard anything car was not looked at, got a call at 3:30 needed to go up and take ride with tech who told me was there till 7 and would look at it, I stressed that I needed my car for work, never heard anything back Monday. I called Tuesday at 2:30 to be put on hold for about 10 min and told my car was being looked at right now and I would get a call back, never heard back. I called Wednesday Dennis said he tried to leave me a voicemail but it was full thats because he was calling an old number and not the number I left to be called back, was told I needed a part and it would be in Friday and if I took my car I would not be able to get back in for several weeks. Dennis did call Friday morning told me part was in tech would work on and someone would call me later that day, guess what never received a call. I called on Saturday not happy was told there was an issue after replacing the part with a code coming up, was finally given a loaner car after 5 days. Monday a holiday, Tuesday no call from anyone, I called on Wednesday spoke to a differant advisor named Jim told him I was unhappy with the extreme lack of communication and he assured me he would keep me informed from here on out ( and he did which I appreciated). I was old there was still an issue with a code and they were working on it. All said and done I finally got my car back after 2 weeks!!!! I can tell you our sales experience here was a bad and I told my husband at that time our next car will not be purchased at Spurr and if I was not locked in to them with my extended warranty contract we would not get our service done here either!!!!
The service here was great. I got into an accident a few weeks ago and my car got totaled. I walked into Spurr one day to look at a car and Richie sat down with me to talk about the cars available in my budget and body type i was looking for. After having seen and test drove the vehicle i loved it, but wanted to look around more. After having gone to three other dealerships Richie and the Buisness Manager Joey were by far the best people i got to work with as they gave me great offers and great deals on my new vehicle as well as provided the friendliest service possible. I highly recommend this dealership and Richie
I went in with no hopes of actually getting a vehicle. I have far from good credit and was paying payments on a vehicle that didnt run.. Richie worked with me all day and was super friendly. He worked hard with the finance manager and they made it happen for me. I was able to leave the same day with my new 2020 Chevy Spark. I would highly recommend going in and seeing what they can do for you.
Andrea, my salesperson was excellent. She found the car, in my price range, did all the work for my sale. When I picked up the car, paperwork was ready, she helped me with the phone hookup in the car, filled the gas tank. It is a pleasure doing business with the dealership. They always seem to be appreciative for their customers!!!
The sales experience was fine. Then the administrator got involved. She didn’t follow up with my insurance agent prior to the Saturday date that she set for me to pick up the car. I called the agent and insurance was in order, but she was should have had the cards and blamed them for not sending them to her. She called me two hours before I was supposed to pick up the car to tell me this- 9am on a Saturday morning. She suggested I call the 800 number THAT would have taken more than the two. I logged on and sent her the cards. She calls me back because she didn’t check her email to see it was already sent by me. Infuriating!The FINANCING- when I made the deal, I asked and was told, they would find the best rate for me with whatever bank. I also told the administrator that I’d be bringing a larger down payment than initially discussed when I signed for the car. Not only was that down payment not factored in, and I had to wait longer for new paperwork to be drafted, I was financed by GM financial. The highest possible going rate apparently. The admin told me, “You could always refinance.” I called my bank from the car as I pulled off the lot and got their advertised rate which was a full 2.4% lower than GM financial.I’ve shared these concerns with the administrator who wrote up a “we owe you” for touch up paint the day I picked up the car. I shared on some level via email with the salesperson, and, at length, by email with customer service representative who emailed me about my experience, and I have gotten no meaningful response. I even told them I wouldn’t be writing a favorable review, yet no one has tried to correct any harm. So a full 11 days after picking up the car, I decided to write this review.
Worst experience at a car dealer ever. No and I mean No consideration for customers time. Had to wait 4.5 hrs after my 3rd call for a update. 2 days sitting by the phone so I got nothing accomplished. Took 4 days to do a 5 hr repair after waiting 3 wks to get my car in.
I had a LOVELY experience here. I had actually purchased a car from a different dealership in Rochester. And after patiently waiting for 21 days and ME having to reach out it turned out they sold me a car they never had.... I was referred to a salesman here by a friend at work and they were able to beat their price and give myself and my husband an exceptional experience. We worked with Steve, Ryan, and Trevor. There were courteous, kind, and funny! Thank you for turning an extremely stressful situation into something positive.
Loved the service it was quick, easy and efficient. All the hardwork is pretty much done for you. It was my first time buying a car so, I didnt know what to expect. Our Salesman was Richard Hutchinson. He was amazing from start to finish! Answered all my questions and really put the work in to get me into the perfect vehicle for what I was looking for! Will highly recommend him to friends and family. Dealership itself was very clean with friendly staff.
So were pulling a 5th wheel with our 3500 Duramax when the check engine light comes on. Away from home at a campground nearby, we cold called Spurr Chevrolet who said bring it in and well see what we can do, despite being booked out for two weeks. They provided a courtesy ride back to our campsite while we hoped for the best and got a great history of the locale from Ron our driver. They took care of the problem the very next morning, sent Ron back to pick us up and we were on our way! These guys blew past the normal expectations and need to be recognized for it. Thank you George (and Ron) and Spurr Chevy for taking such good care of visitors to your service area.
Pam and others worked very hard to find the right vehicle for us after my husband was in a rollover accident with our 2005 trailblazer. Pam knew we needed a vehicle quickly but also wasnt pushy about anything either. We were going to settle for a 2007 Rav 4 and she was actually able to get us a 2019 Trax. The Rav4 needed parts and would have taken longer for us to get. The Trax was ready to drive off the lot and they were able to get us a much better interest rate than a used car dealer not far from us. This is my second vehicle from Spurr. In 2003 I bought a tracker from Spurr. I dont recall the salesmans name back then. He was also really nice to deal with. I do recommend Spurr. They will so their best to help you and if for some reason it doesnt work out they dont treat horrible. They actually encourage you to come back if you ever think things might work out.
Sonny made the whole experience so easy. He knew my budget and knew what I was looking for and made it happen. When I came to pick up my vehicle, it was quick and enjoyable. I LOVE my Terrain. I really don’t think I’ll get a vehicle any place else in the future. I love Spurr!
Body shop - insurance pictures.Scheduled 3 weeks in advance. Upon arrival, the manager who is the only person I was told to take the pictures had gone on vacation 3 hours prior. No one had called and I had to insist on getting another appointment without having to wait again until October. This was an 40 mile round trip that had to be done 2x.
Tammy Nenni was very efficient and helpful. I came in telling her we needed a safer vehicle for our child thats on the way. Before our meeting, she had us look at what we might like. She looked at my choices and understood my needs, right away. She removed the tremendous amount of stress I was feeling! She sold me my first SUV that same day. We picked it up the next morning. I absolutely love it! Not only is it safe but its everything I ever wanted in a vehicle! Highly recommend her for shopping for your next vehicle... 😁🤗❤
I have been buying cars every few years since 1989. I have to say that this was my BEST ever car purchase experience in all that time! I cant recommend enough the outstanding service received from our Sales Consultant, Issac Elliott. From the first minute of our first appointment until the last minute of the closing paperwork it was TOP NOTCH 5 Star customer service. We bought a beautiful used vehicle, great trade, and awesome financing. Why I would recommend this dealership is because of Andrea Standish! She is exceptional at what she does. She is kind and caring and she goes out of her way to make they client feel special. This is the second car I have leased from her. Give that girl a Raise!!!!! She deserves it!
Appointment was given in a timely manner. Not a long wait to get service needed. One complaint - drivers seat was moved way back and not replaced to the original setting on car. The service department only needed to drive the car into the service bay and back out again. If it had needed to be driven several miles, I can understand the need to move the seat. However, it was not. Common courtesy is to leave the seat the way it was found.
We had shopped around and Spurr gave us the BEST offer the 1st time with no shady dealings. We had Andrea as our salesperson and Joe in Finance, who worked on our behalf for financing and able to get us the vehicles we wanted and love. Both were very professional and pleasant to deal with. Different buying/leasing during the COVID pause, (no fault of the dealership), but texts/calls were answered promptly by Andrea and never once did we feel we were a pain as she was always courteous and knowledgeable. We even spoke to the Sales Manager Ralph Dollinger who also was very pleasant and helpful. Professionalism, Honesty and Integrity will win loyal customers year after year every time. We undoubtedly will return again and have already told 7 people in 3 days of our pleasant experience with Spurr. Thank you all.
The customer service is not great. The woman who scheduled my appt was not friendly, she sounded like I was bothering her by making her do her job. As I was waiting for my car, in the waiting room, I could here her I reactions with another customer and once again she sounded like it was a bother for her to be doing what she gets paid to do. Customer service has gone down hill these days and its sad to see it here at General Motors too, who used to have a reputation for phenomenal customer service
I didnt have an appointment but asked if there was time to complete an oil change and tire rotation. It was 330 in the afternoon so I thought there might be an issue but no, they took my vehicle right in and I was out in an hour. A job very well done. Thank you Dennis J and Jeff R
I recently purchased a car through Tammy. I got into an accident and had to get a new vehicle. Tammy and her team did an amazing job in helping me out despite the situation. I called dealers across the state trying to find the exact same car, and she was the only dealer to consistently call back, follow up with my minute questions, and give me the best possible price. The ability to get back to you quickly and work with you over the phone was an asset for me as I was trying to coordinate this between my busy work schedule and the distance from where I live. So many dealers werent willing to even talk or help out, just kept saying when can you come down and see us?.I dont regret taking an hour and a half drive out there. Everything was as we discussed and the car was detailed and prepped much better than my local dealer on the vehicle that I had purchased prior. I felt like I got an honest deal. The only suggestion I would have is for the financing manager to not be so pushy in regards to the protection and maintenance packages. Thank you Tammy and the Spurr team for helping me get back together after a difficult time. Wish you were closer so I could keep coming for service!
I’ve called 3 different times and requested information on a vehicle and told every time by Steve that he would contact me back and never has. What a joke since I was buying 2 vehicles over $135k total they lost. Irritated because they employ lying lazy salesmen like Steve.
Had an appointment for 8:30. They told me my car would be ready in an hour. This was for an inspection, oil change for a car with 7500 miles. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes for them to do this. People came in after me and were out before me. This should not have taken that long
Since i only had the car less than a week its hard to rate the dealership but so far i am verly pleased My salesman, Harry Schultz was very patient, and knowledgeable with all my questions. I did not feel pressured to buy, he wanted me to be sure i was happy with the choice i made, and i truly appreciated that.
I could not have been happier with Spurr and working with Joe Rodrigues! I called and was fortunate enough to talk with Joe in helping my Mom whose Lease was expiring in November. We wanted to have time to research the best new lease for her and not be victim of making a quick decision and wait for November! She is on a fixed income and we needed to find the best car and deal for her over the next 3 years! Joe listened to me, researched all her options and worked to meet her budget needs with such care, professionalism and kindness! He was in contact with myself and my Mom each step and made it a wonderful experience!Trevor and Adam were part of the Team when we came in to pick up the vehicle and took their time explaining things to her and myself so I could understand as well! The Executive coverage package for the Lease was a game changer and allowed her (and myself) peace of mind if anything was to happen with wear and tear over the course of the Lease AND when it was time to turn it in!I will be handing out Joes cards to all our friends and I never once felt pressure to make any commitment and made sure we understood everything! He truly cared about her being happy! It is a rare finding in the day of customer service but Spurr truly has a wonderful asset on their Team! Thank you Joe!! A new and forever customer! :)
January 22nd-scheduled appointment. I made arrangements and left my truck for the entire day. It never made it in to the shop to even get looked at. The Service Manager apologized.January 25th-I once again made arrangements and left the truck for the entire day, it was looked at this time but now the part needed to be ordered.Feb 10th appointment at 3pm. The job took 1-1/2 hrs.On the first appointment, I explained that there was something rattling around inside the muffler-this should have taken about 15 minutes for a Mechanic to diagnose. Instead this took me 3 separate trips to get the job finally done.Update: The Service Manager reached out to me and made things right. I was satisfied with what they did to keep as a valued customer. Sonny and Mike are amazing and the best to work with when looking to purchase a new vehicle. They go above and beyond. They really treat you like you are part of the family. I would do this experience all over again if I could because they are that amazing! I highly recommend going to Spurr. I even drove all the way from Victor, NY! Two thumbs up for sure!!!

Terrific dealership to do business with. Found a car online I called and spoke to Andrea Standish. She made it so easy and comfortable for me she crunched the numbers I told her where my budget was at she called me back within 15 minutes said I was approved. Drove all the way out there from Buffalo New York got there forgot I left my license plates at home. Andrea got on the phone for 3 hours with the insurance company didnt lose her cool she is definitely the best. Definitely would recommend Andrea Standish and spurrier Chevrolet buick gmc.
I had a positive experience working with Tammy to purchase a used van. The process was simple and direct and much less sales-y than other dealerships Ive been to. It would have been a five star review if not for the final 2 minutes of the deal. We had agreed upon an out-the-door price inclusive of taxes and fees and I got a check in the agreed upon amount. I drove out there (for the third time, half an hour away) with the check, signed the paperwork, and then in the very last minute, one of the business managers presented a bill that was $23.50 higher than we agreed upon due to a higher than expected DMV fee. They would not honor our agreed upon price and suggested we put the additional amount on a credit card. I know its not a ton of extra money but it left a bad taste in our mouth that they didnt honor what they agreed to, nor did they warn us of a higher cost at any point until after we had nearly completed the entire transaction. It felt like a last minute bait and switch to nickel and dime us. A disappointing end to an otherwise positive experience. So far we are happy with our purchase.
My experience at Spurr was excellent searching for a new Silverado. The entire staff I met with was great. Pam Fallon was outstanding to work with. She made sure to find me exactly what I was looking for, every detail was met and she worked very hard to help meet my cost goals as well. I was told I had a clicking noise coming from my truck, unfortunately Im partially deaf and I never heard it (I am a veteran) I explained the situation to Dennis, his only response was bring the truck in and well take care of it I just cant say enough positive things about Dennis and the Spurr GM team.It was definitely a good feeling knowing that I have been dealing with a professional and a man of integrity. In my opinion Spurr Chevy and the technicians are all professionals and people of integrity.I am so glad that I purchased my GMC Denali from Spurr Chevy in Brockport. My husband and I went in with intent to purchase a Subaru when our lease was up. Customer service exceeded our expectations. We worked with Ryan for basically a week straight. He listened to our wants/needs in a car and provided at least 5 options for us from used to new, and options of leasing or buying. After multiple test drives- we decided on a 2020 Subaru Forester. When it comes to the dealership I would give 5 stars, great people, have been very helpful with the amount of times I have brought my car back and loved my sales rep, but I bought my 2014 impala 5 months ago and since then I have had to:1) bring it back an hour after I picked it up because my check engine light came on2) bring it back 4 separate times because there’s water coming into the trunk and driver side door constantly (still can’t figure out the leaks, but I know that’s hard to find)3) COMPLETELY REPLACED THE MOTOR (at another shop) because it would not start at all back in the beginning of January and my mechanic noticed that the old motor had been rigged with a temporary fix- in addition, the lock/ unlock on the driver side door has never worked and the center console light has loose wiring and barely works but I didn’t want to bother bringing it back for those small fixesI just don’t understand how these issues were missed before the car was sold to me.
Harry, my salesman, was exceptional and kept every promise he made throughout the buying process and even after.I left with a new WRX and had zero reservations about the deal, orbthe dealership as a whole.Theyve made a return customer for sure, and Ive told everyone that will listen about my experience!Thank you!

My girlfriend went in just for a check engine light. We had to get the car inspected. It’s a 2018 lease. They didn’t pass the inspection because they said “the tires were too bad” which is total bs. So they took off the registration.... forcing her to get new tires on a lease... to pass inspection... or get a new vehicle. They pushed for her to get a new vehicle.... and she was literally just going in for an inspection. Anyways they were very persistent on getting her a new car. She has very little knowledge on cars so I just didn’t like how pushy they were. It almost felt like they were taken advantage of her... not very professional
I recently had the pleasure of dealing with sales consultant Joe Rodrigues. I was referred to him by a friend and they did not steer me wrong. Joe was very friendly and easy to deal with. I explained what I was looking for and he guided me in the right direction. Very knowledgeable and no high pressure sales. Everything went very smooth. The entire team was wonderful. I could not have been more pleased when I went to pick up my new ride. Joe was ready with all the paperwork. He went over things once again and I was on my way in no time. I purchased a 2005 Corvette about 2 years ago. I decided to take it to Spurr to have it checked out before I bought it and to purchase an extended warranty through them. About 2 weeks ago, I had an issue with the air conditioning system, thought it was a simple problem. It took Spurr a week to rectify the issue. the bill was steep due to the extensive labor required. Dennis Johnson, the GM Service Consultant who handled the repair, went well above any reasonable expectations. He contacted the warranty company and fortunately the repairs were covered under the extended warranty. I am very pleased with Dennis and the dealership in general. I would recommend their service department as an option to have any repairs done. Thank you Dennis, great job....
Extremely pleased with Service department -- cordial, efficient, competent, and masked to a person. As I waited, personnel from the Sales side wandered through the Service waiting area unmasked. I felt uncomfortable and stepped outside. That was when I saw through the full window no fewer than nine Sales personnel indoors, working with masks yanked under their chins, with noses exposed, and even with no masks visible at all.
Had nothing but a positive experience at the dealership. My salesman Joe Rodriguez went above and beyond to get me a the deal I wanted. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle here to go see him. He will make it happen, hands down so ask for Joe. Also the gm Steve bruckman provided excellent costumer service above expectation. The used vehicle I purchased ended up needing a few things shortly after delivery and when it came to it, he paid part of the bill personally due to it not being covered by the dealership. When it comes to my next vehicle they will absolutely be the first dealership I stop at.
Beware of changing prices! Misleading information regarding diagnostic costs. Charged me $250 for engine and antilock brake diagnosis. Very poor communication. I emailed and called and left a message to notify service manager that I would be in to pick up my car. Drove 30 minutes to get there and the manager had left and no one could locate my keys so I had to go back another day to get it. Lowered the out of pocket price after I declined to have the work done in an attempt to have me agree to charging my warranty for the repairs. Went to pick up my car and was told it was around the building. Walked around the parking lot in the pouring rain and couldnt find it. Took the staff 5 minutes more of wandering around to locate it. Estimate said I needed an oil change but I had one just days before taking it in. Shady.
Great service. Dennis and Mike go the extra mile to make sure customers are informed and satisfied. My situation required that I have a car while mine was being repaired and Dennis had a car waiting for me when I arrived. There are a couple of GM service centers closer to where I live and work but I prefer to make the drive to Spurr.

I recently purchased a new car through Spurr in Brockport. Tanya was on the phone with me within a few hours of showing interest in the vehicle. My experience was a good one. The check engine light had been on & off for 3 weeks and although the light was off when the car arrived at the dealership, I asked for the computer service, which found the problem. Required an overnight stay, but a loaner had been provided - a BIG help! Best of all was that all was covered under warranty. Great team - Thanks to salesman who transported, service who listened and technician who repaired.

I made an appointment online for 11:30am.When I got there Dennis said they were going to lunch and it probably wouldn’t be done until 2pm. So I sat there for 2.5 hours. He seemed put back by me making my appointment online.If you leave for lunch at noon why not block off those available times online so people can’t make them, “. While you’re at lunch”!
Great experience buying my Subaru Forester from The team at spurr and specifically my salesman Joe Rodrigues! Took great care of me and my concerns with having a new baby on the way and safety and reliability in a vehicle being my #1 priority. After being very happy with my purchase about 6 months down the road there was a recall on my vehicle model but I contacted Joe Rodrigues and he got me set up the same day to get the repairs done quickly and everything has been great since! Thank you very much for being one of the few honest salesman in a business flooded with low integrity individuals. Spurr will forever be where I recommend people to go to not be taken adavantage of and to have peace of mind knowing you’ve been treated fairly.
Went car browsing today and 4 hrs later we purchased and drove home Our new to us car. 2014 buick verano 13k miles. Tanya our sales person was fantastic. Shes only Been a car sales person for a month. Never tried to push the sale. Got all the extra warranty and other goodies at a payment way less then expected. Ive dealt with many dealerships Spurr by far was my best experience thus far. Will up date as time goes on with dealing with service dept. But my hopes are high that our future dealings will go smoothly. Update. Dealings with the service department was a no hassle experience.

The service department is excellent and runs like clockwork. Youre in, youre out in quick fashion. People are friendly. Excellent place to do business!!
I took my Acadia in to get aligned and the AC fixed. When I went to pick up my car, the service adviser told me that I needed new tires and he had them on sale that day. I told him I wasnt going to buy the tires today and that I would buy tires later. He then asked me in front of everyone in the service department and I quote! is it a money issue? Cant you afford them? Honestly its none of his business what my finances are! So again I told him that I am not buying tires at this time and I just wanted to pay for the service and the alignment. Thats when I found out that he didnt do the alignment. Stating my tires were too worn and I had to pay over $200 to have the AC recharged. Only to find out later by Bob Johnson Chevrolet that the upper AC line has a leak (they found it before recharging it). I am a car guy and I love GM products, but I have never been so disrespected at a dealership in my life! Service makes a dealership folks and Mr. Mazzas rude service has made me never want to step foot at that dealership again, even though I live in Brockport, my warranty work will be done at Bob Johnson Chevrolet, otherwise Ill fix it myself!

My wife and I were at your showroom on Tuesday, 3-3-20 around 9:30am. We were browsing the vehicles in the showroom and wanted to sit in and probably drive a equinox and possibly a trax. We approached the customer desk asking for assistance. The woman looked up our names and I would assume paged someone. We waited for 10 minutes without any help...so we left. There are plenty of dealerships out there and with a number of sales people walking around and not helping us it appears you dont want our business. Its a shame because we live in Brockport and like to shop local.

I decided to give Spurr GMC a second chance and it worked out much better than my previous appointment for my oil change. I again booked on-line which is very easy to do. I have been a customer of spurrs for probably 30 years, before it became spurrs. I always see the same mechanic. Hes amazing & I trust him completely. Hes always been honest with me & done an amazing job.The service advisor I work with also treats me very well. They have a shuttle service & loaner cars when u need to leave your car for service.Although I did have a negative experience years back with a salesman, I now work with Cliff, and hes amazing. Hes very honest & straightforward with me. Instead of playing games with my trade he actually showed me the comparables so i understood how he came up with my trade in value.Last year I needed to buy tires & I shopped around for pricing, but spurrs gave me the best deal. I then had an issue with the tire rebate from GM & both the service manager & randy spurr stepped up to help solve the problem & be sure I got my rebate.This dealership will not make u feel like a number, they will take care of you like the valued customer that you are.

DO NOT USE SPURR! They agreed to pay off my trade in vehicle and never paid it in full. Left a 1600 balance and washed their hands of me. Refuse to help me pay off the balance and told me I’m responsible for the left over balance. I would have not purchased a new vehicle if I knew this was the case.
This is the first bad experience Ive had with Spurr. On Wednesday, July 10th around 3:30 pm, I broke down in Aldis parking lot. I called Spurr, explained that I was to leave 5:00 am Thursday for my vacation and that I was broke down at Aldis. I was told to call the Spurr 800 number to get towed. (I was right around the corner from Spurt) I also asked about a loner...well, at the OWNERS request, all the loners were at an air show. To me, that was a stupid thing to do for Spurr customers who need a vehicle! After speaking with the 800 number, and giving the address of where I was 3 times, I was told the tow truck would be there between 5:15 and 5:30. I knew I wouldnt be leaving at 5:00 am for my vacation. 5:30 rolls around, and still no tow truck. The 800 number called to see if I had been taken care of. Turns out that the idiot that took down the address, gave the wrong number. I had to wait until 7.30 pm for a tow!! Unacceptable! Thursday morning, 9 am, Im calling to see about my vehicle, I was told it would be till noon. I asked George if he could get it in sooner. He said he could do an hour earlier. I called back around noon, was told it would be looked at around 2ish. I was furious! I ended up talking with Melissa, who was the ONLY one who would call back to let me know what was going on. It turned out to be a cyllanoid and it would take about 2 hours to fix. An hour later, she brought my vehicle to me, which was a HUGE relief so I could finish loading it up to travel to the Adirondacks. My son and I lost a day of vacation. We didnt get there till 10:30 that night. Spurr did give me 100.00 towards my next service charge. I was greatly disappointed in the lack of loaners first off. Shame on whomever authorized that! Second, I am also greatly disappointed with the lack of communication, with the exception of Melissa, in the service department. I know things happen, but that experience was more than ridiculous.
I would go higher than a ten if i could, from start to finish it smoother than any other auto purchase that i have ever made ( and i have made more than i can count) No hard sell no b.s. just straight forward, i will be back and i will recommend Ryan and this dealership to everyone i meet.
Spurr is seriously the best, most honest and hard working dealership that works for the customer and has the most exceptional customer service. So after 4 years of driving and loving that car, we stopped by on a whim to look at trading the old car in. Surprised Sonny was still there! I would normally give this place 5 stars but my work machete came up missing last time I was in there. I always leave it in the car so when I go to work its just right there. Somebody stole it from me while my car was being serviced. So dont leave anything in the car! Mike usually helps me out with any repairs my car may need he is absolutely wonderful! I get all my services from here. As far as mechanics go this place is they are amazing!
Please people BE AWARE of buying your car from these people. Bought my car here and from day 1 of owning it had battery problems and a month later having to buy a new battery, bought the car in the winter months and when the first summer rolled around of having the car of finding out the A/C DIDNT WORK and had to have my A/C fixed and NOT JUST a A/C freon charge either, plus had to have new tires also. Been non stop minor problems with this car that Spur could have VERY EASILY FIXED and had done. So beware and STAY AWAY when car shopping from this place PLEASE PEOPLE!! I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR HERE AGAIN!!

Bought my wifes GMC Terrain here. Very happy with the dealership. The mechanic dept seems legit as well. We have our own mechanic, but from time to time, bring it to dealer. I never feel like Im getting screwed here. I trust them...that says a lot about a car dealer.
Salesman was clueless about truck specs, and said he worked there over 20 years. I mean, REALLY clueless.Kept telling me the new truck was fast, but couldnt state HP.Couldnt remember my name 2 days after sale.Then.... the finance guy. What a crooked thief. My credit is over 800, and that thief wanted to hit me at 8.5%. When the deal started, they told me around 4.9.Tried three times to get a certain spare part, three fails from the parts guys.Then there was the old wrinkled up salesman, telling FILTHY OBSCENE jokes loud enough in the showroom for my wife to hear.Told all of this to GM, they fixed me up real nice $$$$$ (4.9%).I will not let them even change my oil.
Ed Bellnier was my salesman and was awesome to work with. Relaxed , very understanding and was thorough with explaining all the bells and whistles of the used 2017 GMC Terrain I purchest. Defently made the whole expirience a stress free expirience and i highly recomend him as a salesman . Will definitely be returning to him when this one is paid off !

2022-01-14Looked around for the best price on a particular truck I wanted. Found the best deal at Spurr. Drove 200 miles to get it. Paid exactly the price we agreed on. Rotors weren’t turned down in the inspection, but they paid for them to be when I inquired. Worth the drive.

2022-03-06My wife, Michele, is leaving this review as she was the one who initiated the service through Spurr Chevrolet. I dropped off Normans Chevy Colorado for a simple NYS inspection. My appointment was scheduled for 1:30pm and I arrived at 1:09pm. I was handed the keys a little after 2:05pm. I find it hard to believe it takes 35 minutes to inspect a vehicle. For that, Spurr gets 3/5 stars.

2022-02-17George Lazor as usual was outstanding, he recognized my needs and took care of them as best as possible, my preferred Mechanic Jeff ( last name I never remember , but hes as old as me and were up there) was perfect as USUAL.I have a concern though ,I purchased an extended Warranty from United Care, when I bought my Silverado, paid for it in full ,The first time I needed it and this last time ( the only 2 times) I was not supplied a loaner as it states and I paid for in my program, GM they say doesnt provide any longer , so Im getting the short end of the stick on that, I paid for it. Getting a rental has not worked out either , and I d like that addressed.
