The crew was professional, nice, and efficient - we were so happy they were able to come on the same day we called since our others movers didn’t show up and would highly recommend!
Worst movers I have ever used. I wish I had found anyone else.Broke my bed frame which I asked to not take apart.Stripped Screws,Crew was on their phones and dinged walls, and furniture. I normally do not care, but these folks? Yikes.yikes.

I recently had some very heavy furniture moved from one home to another. My experience with Square Deal Moving was nothing short of positive. They are communicative, professional, and extremely careful. The furniture was padded and wrapped, and the guys took great care to cover the floors and take the time to protect both homes. The move was tracked, so I was able to see where the truck was at all times. I needed to speak to the office and the dispatcher with questions, and they were very helpful, and did not mind all my phone conversations. I highly recommend this company, and I will absolutely use them again for my future moving needs.

The crew was kind, quick, efficient and patient. I felt very comfortable with them Handling our items. One thing to be aware of is that you will pay for their driving time to and from the job, and the rate is the same as the per hour hour for Moving. The extra hour for our packing day and our moving day the following day bumped the total up significantly. Other than that, best 10 hours we could have spent!
Gil and crew did a phenomenal job with our move! They worked exceptionally hard and had a few very difficult pieces of furniture to move. They took the time to wrap all of our items and arrange them in a logical manner in the truck. Polite, professional and very hard working! We hired a four man crew to move us from an old Victorian house with a full basement and 3 additional levels. The men work tirelessly for seven hours. They were nothing short of wonderful. Their positive attitudes made what could have been a hard day into a great experience. HIGHLY recommend this company.

Saved our lives as we had to be out of the apartment by the end of the day. Three gentlemen showed up they were very professional worked quickly and we’re very patient. Movers were on their phone, not careful with items. One was carrying one little item at a time. Damaged antiques (and wall to my new place) were trying to leave while I was still bringing things out of the house, which they were getting paid to do.. Left before doing a walk through and arrived 15 mins later to the new property even though they left 15 minutes before I did. Seemed very much like Milking the clock. At the price they charge, none of this should have occurred. Ive called customer service there 3 times and everytime Ive been told I would get a call back and never received one.This was a horrible experience and would highly recommend finding another company that cares about quality of service and customer care.
Gil and Shaun were great, extremely professional and quick. I was highly impressed with their work ethic and organization. They were also very personable and easy to work with. These guys are highly recommended....in and out moving. Did I also mention they packed my belongings as well...and were still fast.

Nate, John and Brandon were amazing! It was one of the hottest days of the year and they just kept going and they were fast! ZERO complaining about the heat and they were very polite! Let me tell you these guys know how to pack a truck. Absolutely NOTHING was broken and I was so happy. I will recommend them to everyone! I lived in a very difficult apartment complex due to the location of my front door and the parking lot so it was no easy task to move me out! Thank you to them!
First time ever using a moving service. They were very professional, quick and did a fantastic job moving. East to setup and we’re very timely in their moving. Would definitely recommend to anybody who is looking to move anytime in the future.
The arrival window was between 9Am and 11am and the guys arrived promptly at 9am exactly. They were friendly and efficient and extremely careful with our items. They wrapped furniture in moving blankets and were very careful with our mirrors also. At the new house, they were kind enough to help us to place the furniture exactly how we would arrange it in each room. Very professional.
Gil and crew did a fabulous job hauling a huge house of full of 11 years worth of items with care. They took apart the bed and table and then set them back up all beds were plastic wrapped and TVs and furniture wrapped as needed with care with no damage left behind. Thank you guys so much for your hard work!!
Overall bad experience. Movers showed up and asked if they could go to the gas station to get coffee. Decided to be nice but asked if I was going to get charged and they said “no”. After everything was said and done I ended up getting charged for that time. Movers complained the whole time saying that the amount of stuff I was moving was not logged correctly and a larger crew, larger truck, and more time should have been booked. Ended up helping load and unload the whole time so I didn’t have to listen to the complaining. One of the movers dropped a drawer of mine (accidentally) and damaged it. However, the other guy tried to make it look like my fault and when I told him one of his guys did it he ignored it and acted like I didn’t say anything. Talked to the person I booked the appointment with about all the problems and was told she would talk to management about it but never heard anything back.Do yourself a favor and find another moving company. Ended up spending a couple hundred dollars more then I planned. After everything was said and done I would have been better off moving everything myself so I wouldn’t have had to listen to the complaining and if something would’ve been damaged it would have been because of myself.If I would have gotten some type of a call back from my original complaints then I would have dropped everything and forgotten about it. However, I would hate for anyone to have to go through the same thing I did and spend the amount of money I did for the quality of work received.
Although we initially had a mix up on size of truck needed for our move, Gil and crew were quick to respond and coordinate with the office to get an additional truck to make it happen. It was a long day, but the guys were troopers and friendly and fun to work with.

The movers that I had originally planned to use, no call no showed up to my move so I was stranded and in need of SAME DAY moving. Luckily, Gil, John, and Doc were able to get over to me and move me out of my old apartment and into my new one quickly and professionally. All three guys were very professional, very personable, and did a great job. I really appreciate the quick response from these guys and I will definitely call them again.

Gil and his team did a great job on my intra-city move today! I had a lot of mirrored furniture and it was all unpacked in perfect shape in a timely manner. They did a great job packaging all the little parts to make sure everything was easily accessible and were cooperative even though my old apartment has a ton of locked doors and stairs. I would definitely use them again as everything is in tip-top shape, and I have a lot of stuff. Also, this was a last-minute move and the price was very reasonable, whereas some other companies were going to charge crazy rates. Would recommend!
Of all three team members (Aaron, Aaron, Branden), each was considerate of gently picking up each item and regularly asked where each piece should be placed even though we told them they could simply stack the furniture in our doorway and we would move it ourselves . The extra consideration was something we havent experienced from other moving companies...and weve moved many times.All were on time and the elevator even broke during our move. They didnt skip a beat. We told them they could leave furniture in the management office on the first floor but they assured us theyd finish the job and carried all of our heavy furniture up a flight of stairs.Well definitely be recommending all three and will hire them again for our next move.
I used this company to move from my 2 bedroom apartment into a house with my boyfriend. They were on time, professional, wrapped all the necessary furniture before moving it, and made the move, that I was dreading because of the amount of things to move, as easy as could be!! They were even kind enough to stop at another home along the way to drop off a futon before going to the new house. When unloading, they made sure to ask where each item was going and even offered to move a mattress, that was already in the house, upstairs that we were no longer using. They were seriously the best guys ever! I can not recommend them enough! If I ever move again, they will be the first company I call! Thank you for the best moving experience I could have asked for!
HOLY COW!!!! WHAT AN AMAZING CREW!!!Ive been looking for movers for weeks to move our resturant an NOOONE could or would do it because of how large the equipment was or they were booked out until after December I called them and within two days they were at our home moving our equipment at 9 a.m. I was even slightly late for a doctors appointment meeting them and they were fine with it. These guys were RUNNNING to get stuff. Being in the process of opening a restaurant has been one of the most stressful things Ive ever done in my life. And having this AMAZING team who was patient, kind, efficient, helpful, knowledgeable and professional has been an absolute pleasure and Gave me a chance to recharge myself. These guys were great. Very professional during both the set up and actual moving process. Everyone was super friendly over the phone. Today I had the pleasure of using this wonderful company to move our organization. They were prompt, courteous and very efficient. They moved everything carefully and were so professional. Thank you again Gil, Shaun, Kyle and Troy!!! You were amazing!
First off, I’ll say that my experience was average, not great, but not life threateningly horrible.The Movers did not wears masks, which obviously were in a pandemic. As for the service, I’m pretty understanding for movers taking their time when moving heavier objects especially to upper floors, but the issue came in when they started riding the clock by moving as slow as possible. Eventually I had to walk into my room pretending I was cleaning to see what the heck they were doing. And naturally after doing that they were done. When it came time for payment, they said they would go get the iPad and be back. I waited 6 minutes, nothing. I walked downstairs and, again, magically they found the iPad. And low and behold, they add an extra half hour to the bill. On top of that, one of the movers was staring inside of the one of my neighbors Mercedes, COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL.The reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1 is because I’m not sure if this was a movers issue or a company issue. Moving a one bedroom shouldn’t take 4 hours, and granted My new place is 20 minutes away, but 2-3 hours is the Max that this should’ve taken.All in all, not a great experience but also not a horrible, end of the world situation. Would not recommend.
Their team called to give me an approximate time of arrival and introduced themselves upon arrival. The team was polite, professional, friendly and asked me to check and see if I was pleased when they finished, asked if I had any questions and made sure they put everyhing back they had to move and cleaned up.What more could you possibly ask for! Just finished our move with Square Deal and could not be happier. Jeff, Blake, Jake and crew were great to deal with. On time, courteous and careful with everything....they even padded the doorways. We needed to be out of our house to close and they worked until 9:00 PM to be completed. Stored our furnishings overnight and delivered the next day. They even came back two days later to move a few pieces to the basement.....now thats service!Thanks guys for a job well done!
Square Deal Moving1st Move, Excellent. Professional, courteous, quick, non combatant, fair price2nd Move, Reason for this review. Expected the above experience. Crew showed up for a walk through without masks (pandemic and company policy to wear a mask for walk through), Head crew boss immediately wondered what the estimated time was. When stating 3-4 hours (time of our previous move, 2 bedroom apartment into 2 bedroom apartment), the crew boss states that they will need a lot more time than that. The crew boss states that today they brought 6 men and we would only be charged for 4. After walking through I then asked the head crew member to wear masks (I then handed him a box of masks where he took one, thinking that I would then hand them out to his crew). Crew was very polite to my wife and myself. They asked to use our bathroom (except the crew boss). They were genuinely trying to be courteous to my wife, myself and even our cat. The second in command was excellent with telling other crew members what works and what does not. However, smoke breaks and phone breaks were taken throughout the move which I would eventually bring up to the crew boss. Nothing was broken when moving things into the trucks. Took the truck 45 minutes to travel a Google estimated time of 23 minutes. At our home location all belongings were transferred into our house without breaking. Once there were few items left however, half the crew took smoke breaks and phone breaks for the remainder of the move. This was about 30 minutes. At closing, the crew boss tells me I am to pay for 5 men. Originally stated only 4. Crew boss also only wants to deal with my wife and when I ask for clarification of the bill he becomes very belittling especially when I ask him to run down the numbers again. This move cost almost double of what the original did, with two extra men. It also took them an hour and half more time. When I tell the crew boss that its crazy to think that they needed that much time he states it would have taken more time if they only brought 4 men. With little options and wanting the crew boss out of my house we wrote a check. Critics will say that I should not have done that however with inlaws waiting, I was not going to protest when really wanting to show the family our home.Waited till Monday to let my emotions settle. Called Square Deal and spoke with Jeff. I originally spoke with Jeff on our first move. During our first move he was great and also why we decided to use Square Deal again. This time we discussed the unprofessional crew boss and the issues mentioned above. Jeff and myself truthfully became more irritated as the conversation continued regarding his company’s integrity and my expectations. He explained that he would look into us being charged for 5 men when told that we would only be charged for 4. He believed that 5 hours to move a 2 bedroom first floor apartment into a 2 bedroom ranch house with 6 men was appropriate while I felt that 3.75 hours with 4 men was appropriate (1st move). He explained every move is different with weather. It was sunny with an unseasonable high of 72. Jeff ended the call stating he would look into the price for the 5th man, also stating that his guys are not robots, its not like teaching (I’m a teacher) theres real work. Then hung up.Waited to the end of the week to see if Jeff would call me back he did not. He did cash my check.This review is not about the money that we were overcharged. They can have it. This review is about principle. If you hire Square Deal Movers you might get the experience that we received the first time. You will be happy. If you hire them and receive the service we received the second time, then you might be typing a similar review. They were the first people we thought of for our 2nd move. Now they will not be considered nor recommended. 50% satisfaction from this reviewer might make you look elsewhere.

Just had moved into my new place in Syracuse but was having a lot of difficulty getting my couch upstairs. I contacted Square deal moving and within a day they were picking up my couch from storage and they moved it up to my apartment. They navigated the stairs and hallways without damaging anything. Courteous, quick, reliable. These are the guys to go for if ya need things moved.

The response time was amazing. I called looking for availability and was able to get scheduled the same day ( a miracle). The guys had everything done within 3 hours!! I would recommend!
Doc, Kevin, and Shane were all really nice guys, but they did do some minor damage to some of our fragile goods, stacking them upside-down or sideways, and sometimes under heavier boxes. They also sometimes took slightly questionable breaks, which is problematic considering we were paying by the hour. Finally, the trailer they used (rather than a moving truck) resulted in a lot of wasted time hitching and unhitching. Id use Square Deal Moving again in a pinch, but they were far less effective than the last moving company I used.
I can not say enough about this company. All the movers were great. They showed up on time and unloading everything and put where I asked. Shaun, GTI, Kyle, Acren, and Jay were the nicest guys. Thank you so much. I would definitely would recommend this company to any one. Alice Walts

We needed a piano moved into our sons house, which is up a hill with 55 treacherous steps (with twists and turns) to get to the house. We found the piano on Friday evening, I called them from the sellers and they set everything up for the next morning. Jeff and Dana were great at going over all the details with me and explaining my price options. They gave me the option of paying by credit card, as well, which was great, as a lot of places I called are cash or check only. The fact that they could do it on a weekend, on a moments notice was huge. But watching Jeff and the guys taking it up all those steps and into the house was a miracle. Once they got it into the house, they were great about spending some time trying out different furniture arrangements with my son. They also helped us with a couch and some other furniture from a yard sale down the street, all impromptu. Very professional. Very fairly priced. Highly recommend.
Normally I dont like leaving negative reviews, and would never leave a 1 star review for a simple mistake, but this is the worst customer service experience of my life.I booked this company for a recent move, and the morning of the day I called because no one showed during the time window they gave me. It was obvious that they did not have my information saved or inputted into their system at all.I spoke with a woman a few times that morning, and after rehashing the conversation we had the previous week when I booked them (I was referred by a coworker and when I mentioned his name she immediately remembered the conversation), she established she made a mistake and wasnt sure what happened, but my information was no where to be found and the credit card I gave for the deposit was never charged.At this point, I asked if I should rent a truck and move myself, but she guaranteed me that they would send a crew that day sometime between 1-3pm. To her credit she admitted her error and tried to rectify it, and even kept in touch with me during the day. This is not why Im leaving this review, she made an error, admitted it, apologized, and tried to correct it. Thats all I could ask for in that situation.The reason for this review is I received a call a little before 4pm that day from a gentleman whose name I didnt catch (his phone connection was quite poor), and Im not sure if he was the manager or owner. What he was attempting to do was quite clear, as he kept asking me when the deposit cleared my account. I told him I called the previous Friday and spoke with the original woman I referenced earlier, and gave her my credit card information.He said that he understands thats what I claim but when did the deposit clear my account. I told him that I didnt log onto my account to double check, and that its not relevant because we already established earlier with the first woman that my card was never charged. Obviously they werent sending a crew to move me, and when I asked him as such, all he kept doing was asking me when the deposit cleared my account.The conversation went downhill from there and I do regret losing my temper (very stressful day), but I did not appreciate his tactic when the mistake on their end was already admitted to me hours earlier by one of their employees. If he just called and said they couldnt do it that day then I wouldnt be leaving this review, and I more than likely would have gotten over the situation as it actually played out and not left this review if he didnt do what he did next.Immediately after hanging up the phone on him (the conversation was not cordial, and like I said I do regret my part in losing my temper), he TEXT MESSAGED me. In his text he called me a black mailing worm (I told him that I would leave a review and thats what I assume hes referring to), and a liar. Now hes insulting me on top of everything. I did send him a screen shot of my call log showing exactly when I called them, and he really didnt have much to say after that. My wife also called and he called her a liar too.Days later I am still in disbelief that this actually happened. Mistakes are mistakes and they happen, but to insult someone and call them a worm and a liar after an employee already admitted fault is indefensible. After reading reviews on this company it seems like they either do a great job or completely fail. There are plenty of moving companies to choose from, and if you want to roll the dice to see what you get from this company thats your decision, but I didnt think this level of poor customer service was even possible.April 5, 2021 edit. I explained on the phone it was a small move and asked about the hourly rate which was 180/hr. They did an hour’s work and charged me for 3. A 3 hour minimum…They also damaged my furniture. Not impressed and don’t recommend.
We hired 3 movers and they were friendly and very fast and efficient. They also put down their own runners and door jamb pads to protect the floors and walls, both of which were very effective in protecting the floors and walls. We would definitely recommend them!

When we called with an unusual situation regarding our one-ton plus monstrosity of a safe, which are trying to transfer from Upstate NY to North Carolina, Dayna helped us tremendously. We are grateful. Thank you!Dayna was up front about the cost-prohibitive task based on their location and ours -- 2 hours away for pick up, as well as the weight of the object to be moved. Dayna demonstrated amazing customer service, communication, and trouble shooting skills. She might have just said, sorry, we cant help you. Instead, she took time to break down our task into manageable parts involving other companies within our local area. She also willingly referred us out to freight movers in Syracuse who might be better equipped if we couldnt find someone closer to the point of origin. Since we had no idea who else to call, this relieved a burden for us.As for the moving service, we did not hire this company thanks to Daynas honest assessment which put our budget first over just getting the job.I took time out to write this review to acknowledge a business owner who clearly puts the customer first. We reserved a 17-foot U-Haul only to arrive and find theyd given us a 14-foot truck. Jeffs 3-person crew walked through the house, assessed the situation and set to work, packing the truck neatly and carefully. In less than 2 hours theyd managed to get every single thing into the truck. On the other end, nothing had shifted or broken. They were fast, courteous and professional!

Great crew, great staff, but in the end 1800.00 to move a 3 bedroom, and am left getting a Uhaul .Lots of damage, dents and scuffs. Have to blame the truck here, the guys were knowledgeable and worked well.In the future I would use someone else, due to every single piece of furniture being dinged up pretty bad.The beds made it perfect so that is huge. Over all disappointment and more work to do.“This entire room” left items and everything on the walls, great staff, need better or larger trucks.

Movers were great. Office i’m Not pleased with. I was quoted $280 for 2 men for 2 hours. We stayed in contact over the 5 hour drive to where everything will be unloaded and when it came time to pay we were told it was $420 after the movers worked 3:30-5:30 (2 hours). I wish I could say i’d use them again because they movers were incredible, but my business will not be returning when we move again next year.
They left for the destination address without notifying me and I had to pay extra money to get one mattress picked up because of that. I paid $1200 for a 2 bedroom move which should have been a lot less. It took them 6- 7 hours for this move.I have learnt my lesson with this move. I think this is what you get for being nice!!Just want to add to this review after I realized today ( 10/19/19) that some stuff worth around $500 was stolen. There were 3 guys out which 2 were young caucasian guys in their 20s and one black guy in 30s. Wow, I specially got pizza for them while they were on clock. Please be very careful if you plan to hire people from this company.
Great moving company with reasonable pricing. We used them for a moving job that included some very delicate pieces of furniture and specialty equipment. This is the first time we used a moving company and were surprised at what a big difference there was in how they preped everything prior to loading and maximized the space inside the truck vs. how we would have done it ourselves in the past with the help of a friend or two. It was definitely worth not having to deal with the DIY hassle. They might not be the least expensive, but if youre worried making sure that nothing gets damaged along the way, Id say go with these guys. Theyre a great team.

Dayna was very helpful when I called in to arrange for this move. Kyle and crew showed up right on time and did a great job.
Truck sent was too small, as a result they had to disassemble our furniture to make room. This required more time and ended up costing us over 1400.00 to move from Sauquoit to Holland Patent. Our furniture ended up getting marked up and damaged. Needless to say we are not happy. I googled about moving quotes and could of gotten the job done for about half price. If I knew it would of cost so much, I would never have agreed.
Very disappointed with the time this 4 man crew took to load up my home. Took 6 hrs to load what seems like should have been 3 or 4 hrs at maximum. Could have gotten the same service from Uhaul round trip for half the cost of what they charged just to load the truck. Would not use this company again.
I can’t thank this company enough. They’re the best people I could have ever asked for to help with my move. I would’ve never been able to get to my new house without them. Horrible company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!!!!! They were hired to move a few big things. There was an older man and 2 younger guys. The younger guys were doing most of the moving. At one point the older man said a big piece of furniture wouldnt fit in the moving truck. When we told him to tilt the furniture he replied he was the mover. Then he said he couldnt work with us and left the piece of furniture in the middle of the parking lot and left. The movers just left. I had to call at a moments notice to hire a different company since these movers left the furniture in the middle of the parking lot. The older man was DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE!!!! By the way, the new movers we had to hire fit the big piece of furniture in the truck with no problem.

Booked with Square Deal about a week before a move in the Syracuse area with Square Deal to load up my possessions the night before a closing on my house to be sold and to finish the move the morning beforehand. Two days before this, Square Deal switched it to both pack and move on the same morning before the 9 a.m. closing. Cutting it tight, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. 6:15 a.m. the morning of the sale rolls around with no movers. Probably 10 calls and texts from my wife and myself over the next 3 hours (including during a walk through where the buyer was furious all my possessions were still in the house and requested a holdback) to the proprietors went unanswered in response to requests for clarification for the one text I received, which was a half-hearted apology for staying out too long to 2:30 a.m. on a job the night before (suggesting that they cancelled my job to take on another bigger job the night before) and a promise to get back to you ASAP and to send a team of 5 guys. Subsequent calls went straight to voicemail, suggestive of the company blocking my number. No movers showed. The only call they responded to was my real estate lawyer and even then, they hung up immediately on learning that she was talking to a lawyer. Heard from another moving company that this is far from the first complaint. Looking into BBB complaint - stay away from this business at all costs.
Took a while to get availability but when they came they went to work. They took very good care of my belongings and tolerated me being fussy with my fragile things.

They come on the same day we called and moved a 860 pound Aga range cooker. They have an escalera moving hand truck. It can hold up to 1,200 pounds! We highly recommend them! They move 1 object to an entire houses.

Terrible movers, took lots of breaks. They did not show with the amount of people they said would be there. They damaged items. They smoked, and made a mess.I would not recommend this company for any move of any size.

Although there was an issue with dispatch/scheduling, resolving it was swift and the team showed up and conducted themselves professionally and courteously. 2022-01-21I came to these guys with a crazy request; I needed to get a 9x4 solid walnut table through a third story window in downtown syracuse for a conference table in an office. We used a crane to get the table through the window (crane operator was hired separately). The movers helped get the table hooked up and pulled it in the window as well as set up the table. This table is a monster it weighs 500lbs+. These guys were extremely professional, helpful and up for anything. They did an amazing job and the table went through clean, easy and undamaged. Will definitely be using them again!!

2022-01-22I really appreciated this company moving my belongings. They answered all my calls or returned them within the same day. They kept me updated and assured. Nicole was great answering all my questions and concerns. My movers were Kyle (who did an amazing job with my bedroom furniture tearing down and setting it back up), Brandon (who did great wrapping my fragile glass furniture), and Frank (who went the extra effort to move some of my things into my storage unit attached to my apartment). They were all professional and worked well not just together but with me. I didn’t have to left a finger unless I volunteered to do so. They asked me where I wanted everything to go when moving it into the new apartment. They were on time and moved fast but carefully. I cannot say anything bad about them. The rate wasn’t bad neither for the premium service you’re receiving through this company. HIGHLY recommend! I will definitely use them again if I ever needed to move again.

2022-07-07I cannot say enough about how easy Square Deal made my long distance move. Nicole in the front office is incredible—quick to answer any question, upfront about everything, and so kind. My crew, lead by Sean, was also fantastic. Arrived at the earlier side of the arrival window and had the whole apartment cleared out within an hour. They were friendly, thorough, offered to take more than I had set out even if it meant quickly assembling a couple more boxes, and gentle with fragile items. They disassembled and reassembled the furniture easily (or at least they made it look easy!) and were extremely communicative.Absolutely nothing but the best to say about my Square Deal move—can’t recommend them highly enough!

2022-04-01My husband and I moved from the Syracuse area to Woodstock, NY. About a 3 hour driver (a little longer with a trailer). We had a two stop move which included a stop at our house and a stop at a storage unit. The experience was top notch from the first phone call. Nicole replied to our quote request very quickly and got us set up for our move within minutes. We were send a crew of three very professional, very skilled movers. They took great care in loading the trailer properly, ensuring protection of our property and loading our storage unit in a very organized fashion. They were very efficient. 2022-02-02I reached out to Nicole with less than a weeks notice looking for a moving quote. She was prompt to respond and gave me the entire rundown of charges and explained the minimum time (3 hours) that would be charged. She set me up with a morning appointment, and the movers were prompt, courteous and quick! They took care moving my furniture and boxes, and were great with making sure I had everything I needed in the truck. 10/10 would use again in my next move!

2022-01-18Thank you for breaking my things after I paid $1,800 plus tip for my move. 😊Also, worst customer service. Agent called aggressive and told me everything the movers broke was my fault so hung up because the agent was weirdly mad given the situation. I wasn’t seeking compensation, just a heads up so this doesn’t happen to anyone again in the future. Received these texts from the company. 10/10 for lack of professionalism.Update: I did not become irate. I was not going to be spoken down to and condescendingly when I was just trying to inform of a situation where I was seeking no refund or financial reimbursement. Now that this has happened, it will be a dispute on my credit card for sure so look out for that. I should have listened to the unprofessional responses to other customer concerns I read before booking and not booked. I know better for the future. Completely unprofessional and laughable business tactics.

2022-05-18My partner and I had hired this company to move from our studio apartment to a one bedroom. Before the date of the move, they had almost no communication with us or our building up until the day before the move.The day of our move they had informed us that they would need to disassemble our bed frame and L-shaped desk. After they moved our furniture over we realized they had snapped my desk in pieces instead of disassembling it and had also damaged our bed frame. We also had missing pieces of our bed frame. (All photos below of damaged items).When we informed them of these damages they have been very delayed in dealing with it. We had to email and call them multiple times regarding this issue with very little communication and only receiving a “we’re dealing with this.”It’s been over a week now since our move and we still have no information on when or how they will handle this. The items they broke cost $400 and have left us without a proper living space.This company has been extremely unprofessional to me, my partner and my mother who was there to help with the move. This whole process with them has been a disaster with them and I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

2022-03-07Im so glad I hired this company to do my move! From the moment I called for information on how they operate, cost, etc. I was treated with respect, courtesy and friendly professionalism. I called them Saturday morning and they were able to schedule my move for Monday morning. Kyle, Aaron & John, the 3-man crew chosen to do the move arrived right on time, introduced themselves & got right to work. Everything was handled with care during the load/unload process. These 3 men were very kind, respectful & courteous...make a phenomenal team! I highly recommend this company & rate them 5+!

2022-07-28The movers did a great job yesterday with moving a tenant from the downstairs of our new house to upstairs apartment. Very professional and very hard workers! We will be using Square Deal Moving again next month when we move from our current apartment to the downstairs apartment they just moved contents from yesterday.
