This is a great church, of course masks are required like everywhere else and the priest promotes love for all very eloquently

Amazing place of worship. This is one of my favorite Catholic Churches on Long Island. Plus, the school across the way provides a wonderful atmosphere for learning and the academic program is top notch.

As parents our main goal is to make decisions that will leverage the best possible prospects for our children, affording them the most opportunities and the brightest of futures. After an extremely disappointing first year in public school, I made the decision to pull my child and enroll him in St. Martin of Tours. I can say unequivocally that it is the best decision I could have made. I fell in love immediately. The sense of community, the focus on the students as unique individuals, and the emphasis on kindness and compassion are qualities that set St. Martin apart from the rest. The rigorous academics are bolstered by small class sizes and teachers who are highly qualified, interested, and caring. Under the superb leadership of the current principal and outstanding staff- both the teachers and the administrators- the school never broke stride in the constantly changing, tenuous circumstances of the Pandemic. They adapted and changed persistently to the ever changing circumstances these past few months- never wavering in their pursuit of the academic excellence or the cultivation of the students emotional well being. My child is thriving at St. Martin and we are thrilled to call it home.

I currently have a 6th grader in St. Martin of tours. She started attending there in Kindergarten. The last seven years my daughter goes from our home to her second home St Martins. It means a lot when you know your child is in great care when they are not with you. The education aspect is above standard and to have that you need amazing teachers, principle and staff. We luckily have it all.

I was shocked to learn that someone wasnt able to visit my friends dying mother. She lives the next town over! It just breaks my heart to see her being denied a request, after everything that she had been though. Arent we all children of God? Clearly this church doesnt believe so.

SMT is our home away from home. Three of my children currently attend school here and they love it! The entire school community is welcoming and when you walk in the school you feel like you are part of a family. The education and caring environment in the school is exactly what we were looking for when choosing a school for our children. The new principal, Mr. Parisi, has been an amazing addition to our community and I cannot wait to see how my kids continue to grow there over the years.

Fr. Gordon refused to visit my dying mother because we are in Massapequa Park and not in Amityville. We live 8 minutes away from the church and my mother specifically requested St. Martins. This is abhorrent, un-Christlike behavior and he should be ashamed of himself. Is this what Jesus would do? I think not.

I love it because they have an outreach program for the community and provides food for the needy. The program has been helping me with several issues and the sister as well as the seats have always been friendly and helpful. There are also generous people who donate practical items and food. I also enjoy seeing the children getting out from school.
