Great for a drink. They have 3 floors and a small outdoor area that is great for a quiet summer lunch in a hectic city. Prices are city standard, but the food is really good. Also they cater to parties and gathering so just give them a call and they will work with you. I have done many little parties there including a charity happy hour where they agreed to give a percentage to the charity.
Pretty Good food, pretty basic beer for an Irish restaurant in my opinion. Glad it was located near my hotel. Clean bathroom, I only saw 1 there may be more elsewhere in the restaurant. Did enjoy the outside dinning for the most part until we tried to pay the check the the server was never returning so we could pay it.
Superb Irish bar in NY was over for st pats week and instantly made to feel welcome, 4 days out of our 6 including paddys day was spent here Amanda was amazing, so was I think her name was Erin from Co.Wicklow and the one from Dublin whos name I never caught already counting down until I can come back
Authentic NYC bar. 3 levels of dining yet no views of the city. The food was very good and the portions were very generous. Place was a bit on the loud side but not overwhelming. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and it was a great holiday season get together spot to grab something to eat. Probably wont be returning as there are literally thousands of places to eat in the city.
Cold beer nothing exotic just typical pub style selections. The food came out fast and was cooked perfectly. Its not bar food its pub food...which means better and less grease. For a late lunch, the portions were perfect keeping us full for the rest of the evening. The side fries were huge at least 4 large potatoes worth! The entire staff was on top of it to making sure we were served and had anything we needed.
Worst experience and rudest staff!!! DO NOT GO THERE...Not recommend a place where there is no respect for guests, and there is no welcoming attitude. We checked in with the host and she sat us at the bar. The bartender was rude from the beginning. She gave me one menu and we were 5 people and she refused to give another menu to the other people at our party!!!! The guys ordered a drink and two of us (women) werent going to order a drink. While the 3rd woman was looking at the menu, the bartender told us in the rudest way that you cannot order 2 drinks only and sit at the bar. We reminded her that the host told us to sit there and nothing was mentioned and there is no such a rule like that. She continued to repeat and ignore the other woman in our party trying to order…!!! We told her she is kicking us out, so we are leaving….The interesting and at the same time disappointing part was the restaurant manager didnt follow the right course of action and in return told us we cannot talk to his team like that!! Wondering if he knows his teams impolite attitude!
I’m the person who never complains at any restaurant and tries to be understanding of what servers may be going through. But, service here was terrible. I had to ask about my order thirty minutes after ordering. It finally came and no one checked back on me. I asked for my check and never got it. I finally had to get up and go ask for it at the server station and had to tell them what I had. Like my order was never actually entered. Would not return.
Delicious! I was having a hankering for onion rings, so added them onto my meal of bangers and mash. I admit I didnt have very high expectations for this simple dish, but it was fantastic -- slightly crispy sausage, fresh-made potatoes, a little crispy potato garnish and a delicious onion gravy. My dinnermate ordered chicken curry and said it was lovely! Onion rings were tasty, slightly sweet, perfectly battered. All portions were very generous, a good value!Atmosphere is warm, cozy and comfortable. The dining area, despite having a few muted televisions playing sports, doesnt feel like a sports bar. The noise level is very tolerable. The service was also good! Friendly and helpful staff. We will be back! :)
Wow!!! This spot is splendid. I just stopped in there on a whim because I was working on the block. Their corned beef is mouth watering and the salad hit the spot and has me feeling energized. Friendly staff from the young lady at the door to the bartender that took my order. Clean atmosphere and delicious food. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You will not be disappointed and I will be making a return visit. Thanks so much for making my stomach feel ooooo so happy! Cheers to the staff.
This is a really cool bar! There are 3 levels and outdoor seating. The bar is clean, with the traditional dark wood interior. The crowd is diverse and lively. This is a great bar for groups, and the bartenders are very accommodating. They have really nice pub fare and drinks. It’s also walking distance to all the sightseeing spots.
I really want to rate this place higher, but have trouble doing such. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and very pub like. There is always some sport on the televisions, and the waiting staff is incredibly friendly. Our waiter, he was from Galway, was kind, gentle, and had a good sense of humor. However, the food is average. It was certainly not bad, but nothing out of this world. Having all that said, St Pats is solid place for a bite to eat and a beer.
I never felt more welcomed at establishments as I felt there. Management, hostesses , waiters, waitresses, bartenders and staff are the most Pleasant people Ive met in a establishment. When you go there you actually feel like your home no matter where you come from. Truly a Pleasant experience for all to have and share.
St Pats bar is a real cool place to go. It has a lot of character and a good amount of seating. The upstairs beer garden is nice when lines get long, because they get packed pretty quickly. The rooftop outdoor seating is really nice when its warm out. The service is good here and the prices are pretty normal.
The food was pretty reasonably priced for being downtown close to Times Square. We were there mid afternoon for lunch after seeing the Rockettes at Radio City. We were seated promptly and even with it being pretty busy, the waitress attended to us nicely. It was 10 degrees that day, and the restaurant was nice and cozy. Both my wife and I got the Fish and chips which was great for a frigid day. The fish was lightly breaded and not over done, which was nice. Most places we have gotten fish and chips at either over bread the Fish, or use some weird breading technique that ruins the flavor of the Fish. Our daughter got the chicken fingers and fries and that was good as well, with a pretty decent portion that would fill up an adult, let alone a kid.
Hostess personality was blah. Took forever to get our food. Waitress was nice, but hardly checked on on us. Food was a hit on some things and a miss on others. Teriyaki dumplings had good texture. but the filling could use some more like a vegetable (just a suggestion). Had the Fish and Chips. Fries were greasy, but the fish was cooked well and fresh. Small portions on drinks.
Went on a Sunday and was thrilled to see it was a Jacksonville Jaguars bar. Good atmosphere to watch the game. The prices on the regular menu were basically the same as their football specials pricing, so that was a little disappointing. All in all Id go back again during football season.
Lots of character! Great bar and lots of fun... we ate upstairs after a busy day of sightseeing and sucked up some of their free wifi. Then when downstairs and watch some local sport and chatted with the locals - was super fun!Food is typical pub grub - hearty and yummy
Great Friendly service, food was awesome, I had the fish and chips and my husband had the Salmon both were very good. Had a very pub feel with a fire place in the back. only complaint I have is that I had to ask for a water refill but after that they made sure to refill. Would highly recommend.
Nice pub in midtown. Prices were to be expected because of the location. Menu offers pub basic; burgers, wins, and pizza. Some menu highlights include chicken nachos, chicken parm, and shepherds pie. Atmosphere was homey and inviting. Staff were friendly and accommodating to a large family.
Not the best experience here, the christmas decor and ambiance was great until the music changed. The Mac n cheese was sub par, the southwest salad was ok, full of iceberg lettuce (probably because of the current CDC romaine lettuce issue, not sure, I should have read the menu closer) also not a beer drinker, so Im really not the best person to review a bar. However the fragrance in the restroom was magnificent! 😉
I suppose if youre looking for a sports bar, this is the place, but otherwise, its blah. Service was slow and uncoordinated, food was disappointing. My fish & chips was far too much bread & grease (about a quarter of each piece that just fried batter), and my wifes Shephards Pie was watery and bland. We originally came here when the place first opened, and its gone way downhill since.
The food was good... I had a burger and my husband had the fish and chips... but the reason it gets 3 stars is because they over charged for an under poured double. If you want to drink Irish whiskey, just know it’s $20 per doubleand the doubles are more like singles.
Perfect place to chill on a Sunday afternoon. Music is low (thankfully), service is attentive without being intrusive, space is clean. A true pub, where friends and conversation are the ultimate purpose. 4 stars instead of 5 because the beers are all from multinational conglomerates. At least there’s proper Irish tea.
Atmosphere and service were great. The kitchen seemed overwhelmed on the day we were there (Christmas time). Grilled cheeses were dark, chicken was under cooked, but burgers and steak sandwiches looked perfect. To their credit, they were apologetic about the chicken and corrected it with no problem.
We called on on our first night in New York for a couple of cold ones and ended up staying for about 4 hours. The bar staff were spot on , great selection of drinks, Id recommend a few of the draft Liguintas (perhaps got the name wrong -but close 😁) so instead of finding a restaurant we stayed and had the mixed platter and cajun seasoned fries , all very nice indeed. The atmosphere was very relaxed so we enjoyed our time in St Pats and have no hesitation in recommending 10/10
Went into here for the McGregor - Aldo fight. Got treated like royalty. Chris and Michelle took very good care of us. Had a seat at the bar (because we showed up in time) and never had to ask to be served all night. Two of the best bartenders Ive yet to experience in this city, and Ive had my fair share of them. The rules are simple. Come in, respect the family of the bar, and they will look after you. Cant recommend it enough.
Their new bartender, Brian, is awful. Not only is he a bad bartender, but hes a terrible person too. Ive been coming here forever, but he didnt like the conversation I was having one night with a friend and threw us out. For a conversation. I come back the next week, minding my own business with a bartender I like downstairs, and he comes from the upstairs bar and starts harassing me and tries to pick a fight. With a long-time patron who has spent probably $20k and is on great terms with everyone there.A bar with a power-tripping bartender who tries to start fights with model patrons? Skip it.
Youre average run of the mill midtown Irish pub. Good, nothing special though. Friendly bartenders. We were there on a cold day and the hostess had no control over the door, customers would walk halfway in to read the menu and let the cold air fill the front half of the bar.
Best Pub food in NY Great Irish pub everyone had an Irish accent they were the most warmest wonderful people to hang out with.. Patrick the owner was such a gentleman and an excellent host You could tell he grew up in good Irish blood Hats off to his mom...Good luck laddy
Irish bar in Manhattan. You know what to expect and these guys deliver whats on the label. Service was pleasant, beers were cold, chairs at the bar it felt like I was in an Irish bar in Manhattan... Couldnt fault it. If thats what you want, thats what you got. Cheers.

2022-03-03Just a few steps from the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square North. Very nice spirits an beer selection. Food is is very good and fair priced. Sat at the bar, Malikee did an awesome job of talking care of us. Looks just like the Field in San Diegos Gaslamp District. Highly suggested.

2021-12-06Sat in the outdoor dining for a quickie dinner. Got the St Pats sampler for 24 bucks which was pretty much a meal for 2. Had an iced tea but they ran out. Tables and chairs a little wobbly, worn and needed cleaned on a tilted platform. Food good, tea good. Service a little slow. Overall not horrible but just ok.

2022-04-24Food is nice but the service is bad. The restaurant charged me 20% of tips after tax and jut put it on my bill. They corrected it to 15% only after I asked them to do so. The waitress gave me a no-smile, sad face after I asked to change! I should have taken photo of it. Also, I should be the one that decide the tips. You can’t just charge me 20% more on my bill. Not sure if it is legal or not

2022-05-26St Pat’s Bar is a great place to grab a bite. The French onion soup is some of the best I’ve had. Friendly atmosphere with amazing employees. I would eat there every time I go to New York!

2021-12-06Just stopped in for some appetizers after seeing the tree in Rockefeller center. Nice, warm, and inviting place. Had an Irish singer who was very good. Sat on the second floor. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good. The only reason not 5 stars is because the busboy/ foodrunner was a bit of a dunce. I ordered the wings with extra bleu cheese. He brought 1 small cup. I asked him for 2 more, he brought 1. He only brought 2 of our appetizers because he thought the sweet potato fries were a separate course. Then he forgot to bring the gravy for the fries. I hope he is new.

2022-05-31Friendly, welcoming bar. Went here to watch an early morning football (soccer) match at 7am. Atmosphere was fantastic! Because of a problem with kitchen staffing the owner sent out for Egg McMuffins for all of the customers. Amazing, attentive staff. We will be back!!

2022-06-18I never write a review, but Hanny/ Hennie (guy with cap and narrow shoulders) treated us so poorly. Very rude in telling me I took too long when I asked if they had any lagers (after the beer I asked for was out of stock). He then mixed two glasses filled with foam and kept pouring them into one another until they were one. When I asked about this he laughed at me and sent me away with the terrible beer. Made me pay and was extremely rude in doing so. Never again

2022-04-25Stopped in at 1pm on a Sunday for a quick lunch for 3 before our Broadway play steps away. Excellent meal and Guinness. Classic Irish pub.
