I visited this store for the first time last weekend. It rules! I recently went down the rabbit hole of leather footwear. Up until this point in my adult life, Id never had my foot sized by professionals, and I wanted to visit S&S because I knew that they carried lots of different brands of boots and were serious about welted footwear. Xavier helped me out and let me try on several pairs of boots. It was very informative and validating to chat with him about different boot styles, different brands, different types of leather, and heritage clothing at large. After such a positive experience, all I can say is that S&S will receive my patronage for years to come.

Very chic space with an industrial flair. Shopping here is a relaxing experience. High quality goods that should last at least one lifetime was the most basic of care. Love their ethos, “Own fewer, better things.”Great food nearby too :)

Store has a wide selection of raw denim jeans & excellent customer service.My father recently fell in love with raw denim jeans and wanted to check out S&S. Charlie was extremely knowledgable, patient and assisted my dad in every way to find the perfect pair. He even helped us figure out the exact measurements and where to go to get them perfectly tailored. Thank you so much Charlie and Kyle for your above and beyond customer service! This was definitely a memorable NYC trip for my father, much appreciated. :)

Great experience with Kyle. He was very helpful and friendly and went beyond what I expected when I wanted to replace an item. This store has very high quality goods and I highly recommend a visit.
