When we first bought our house, we replaced some of the broken windows with Stanek. We got three bids to make our decision. We chose Stanek because the windows are made in the USA, and can be repaired. The installation process was smooth and I was able to keep working at my house while they installed them. The Stanek windows operate so much better than the rest of the windows in our house, they take so little effort to open. Now we’re replacing some more windows in our home and we are happy that they will be from Stanek.
We have ordered from Stanek Windows a couple times over the past 5-6 years. First we had windows installed throughout our house - 14 windows done in 1 1/2 days and when they left you would not have known they were here everything was picked up and cleaned up-spotless. A few years later we had a retractable awning installed and again they did a great job. I have recommended this company to others and will continue to do so.
We are so happy we chose Stanek for our window replacement. The sales representative who came out to our house and explained everything is what sold us. So nice and thoroughly explained and gave us all of our options, yet he didn’t seem pushy at all. The windows are beautiful and such a upgrade from what was there. The installation was fast and right on time as expected. I can’t say enough about them! You are in good hands by choosing Stanek windows. I highly recommend!

Given that we were not replacing all of our windows and wanting to maintain consistency of the look of our home, we obtained numerous consultations and estimates from several window firms. Although we ultimately decided to go with another manufacturer/firm due to a closer match with our existing windows, we were very impressed with the features and overall quality of Stanek Windows compared to most other products offered by other home improvement firms. We were particularly impressed with Michael Helwig, Design Consultant. We found him to be very knowledgeable about the product and scope of work involved in a window replacement project. He carefully listened to our expressed concerns and gave us very honest, professional feedback. He wasnt the least bit pushy, rather he was an excellent resource and a pleasure to meet and work with.
We used Stanek Window Company and Great Day Improvements for our window replacements. Michael Helwig, our Design Consultant, was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable when helping us decide the best windows. He went above and beyond our expectations. The process was timely and efficient. Rob, who installed our windows, did an amazing job. He was also very professional and knowledgeable. We would recommend Stanek and use them again!
My wife and I are in the midst of a major renovation of a 100 year old home. The first thing we did was order new Stanek windows. Over the past three years Stanek Windows has installed a host of windows throughout our entire house . Each visit was very professional, the installers did an excellent job on each window install plus it was done within a few hours time. I would highly recommend Stanek Windows! The quality of the windows were worth it and we couldnt be happier.
Everyone we had contact with was very helpful and responsive. The person that came to our house initially (Joe) and the installers were great. Very efficient operation. Windows installed look like a quality product.Update...we seem to be having issues with opening, closing, locking, unlocking two of the four windows. Installers came back to make adjustments and said they need to be broken in!? Now one of them, I cant even unlock it, no less open it. Funny thing is the reason we replaced our 25 year old windows was the cranks were not working properly and figured it was time to upgrade. Waiting for a return visit.
Our appointment with Joe was very informative. He was very helpful and courteous and on time also.He answered all my questions. Stanek Windows sounds like a company I would consider using when the time comes for replacement of our windows in the future. I would not hesitate to refer your company to family and friends.
I wanted to replace an existing window with a slider. I was unsure about the process in terms of having to widen or heighten the area. I called for an estimate and Joe came out within a couple weeks during the onset of covid. He was knowledgeable and professional and answered all my questions. Everything is custom, so there was no need to cut a wider opening, which is great due to the location of my electrical panel. I was told we could schedule the install 6 to 8 weeks from purchase date. Received several calls from office to keep me posted on the manufacturing and delivery process. I also received a call to reschedule the install a week earlier than expected. The guys who came to install were also knowledgeable and professional. They cleaned the interior and exterior of my home where they worked and they cleaned and tidied the door itself. Because they didn’t replace a door with a door, it required a bit more work and therefore took a bit more time. Altogether I believe it was roughly 4-5 hours. The door looks like it has always been here. I couldn’t be happier with the product and the service!
Joe Dawidowicz was super helpful and knowledgeable as our salesman. The install was quick and clean and the windows are amazing, well worth every dollar spent. We will definitely use them again for the few remaining windows that we will have installed in the future.
Had 3 windows installed last year. Out of the 3, only 1 is problem free and I think it is because it is a smaller window. Poor installers. Windows are pretty good but not great like I expected. Im sure I could have gotten quality windows much cheaper. Joe.D. was very good but customer service was not. The girl was NEVER there, what a piece of work! Now I have a window that leaked during the latest rainstorm a few days ago. Expensive window leaking!!.....again, poor installer.I dread calling customer service. Ill probably contact Joe instead. I need more windows replaced but I will not be using them again. I dont know where you find these these so called installers but Im not taking another chance with your company.
Don’t use this company . Had 10 windows installed in my house December 2019. First issue was the weather stripping came in the wrong color . I ordered beige windows the stripping came in white ( no big deal just needed it changed out) however when the correct color came in they sent 2 of their guys out to change it . While changing it one the guys smashed the outer casing with a mallet and did not tell me and just left without saying anything . I found it after inspection after they had left . I Had to have the window replaced. I had a date to have the window replaced and the crew showed up, the wrong window was ordered therefore they couldn’t replace it . Had to wait additional time. On a windy day the one window popped out place coming into my house and the sash broke on the one window . That had to be replaced . the same window had leaking problems everytime it rained .Then the weeps that are beige colored had began chipping and turning to their original color white around the same time the one window had to be replaced ( approximately 3 months after the windows were installed . All weeps were replaced with new beige weeps . One window casing is currently chipping around the weather stripping turning white , once again on beige windows . Had to re caulk at least 2 areas on every window in the house yesterday because all the caulking was cracking and in some cases very severely. Stay away from this company their products are absolutely terrible. These types of problems shouldn’t be happening only 14 months after spending 14K on windows . Needed new window weeps for the 3rd time since December 2019 because they are are chipped to white with the beige colored windows and was scheduled for service to have them changed last Thursday May 20th . No one called me and no one showed up . Called today and was told the woman was off and she assumed someone called me to inform me the weeps were ordered in the wrong color thus delaying the service .Once again stay away from this dumpster fire of a company .

Replaced a hackjob box window from the previous home owners with a beautiful and affordable garden window. Very pleased from start to finish. All employees were polite and very easy to work with. Also there was no pushy sales, I never felt rushed through the process.My only recommendation is to have pre-calls the day before the install. Would be nice to have the assurance everything is still scheduled.Overall very pleased and definitely recommend them.
I had two existing windows upstairs replaced and one new window put in (custom shape), and the entire process from start to finish was great. Joe Dawidowicz even did a final walk-through of the work done to make sure everything was up to standard. Will definitely be using Stanek Windows again in the future after my kitchen remodel.
We had 2 patio doors installed to replace our 15 year old wood sliders. The Stanek doors blow our old Pella doors away, they roll great and the woodgrain is a great match no more worries about staining and rot! The whole team made every go smoothly and delivered on everything that Joe initially explained.
Stanek Windows lied to me about a “custom patio door”. The sales representative assured me that I would be getting a custom door with a pet resistant screen. I waited 8 weeks for the install because the sales rep assured me that nothing is kept in stock, it is all made to order even though I was purchasing a standard size. On the day of install, I noticed it was a regular screen door. I called the office and was told I would have to speak to the install manager. I had the installers continue thinking this the screen door could easily be changed. They did a great job except for a minor issue with my floor heating vent. No call was ever received. I called back and again was told I had to speak with the install manager. I was told by the person who answered the call that she reviewed my contract and there is nothing on it regarding a pet resistant screen and that “we don’t do that”. I asked again to speak to the manager. Onr month later I am still waiting for a call. Bottom line here is I paid for custom and got a stock door from company that charged top dollar and has provided no satisfaction.Since my post yesterday I was contacted and visited by my design consultant, Bill. Bill was very apologetic and took my screen door and will have the screening material replaced within a week and the vent issue resolved. I appreciate this response from him and Stanek Management. Had I been instructed to call Bill with my initial call on the day of installation, this whole review could have been avoided.
Paid over $1000 a window for 11 windows installed. 4 of them leak when it rains. 3 get interior condensation in the morning. And a handful I have to slam closed to get the locks to latch. Windows are drafty as well. I would not recommend this company to anyone. And if these issues are not resolved in a timely manner, Ill be going to the BBB next.
Was recommended by a friend to try Stanek Windows and has turned out to be a great decision! Have used them twice now and couldn’t be happier with how it went both times, I even had the same installers. Joe and the office staff were great as well. I know that I could have spent less, but it just proves that you really do get what you pay for!
First of all the salesman said we needed addition work on the house in order to install the widows properly. We agreed to the additional charges. The guys that came to install the windows said that no additional work was needed. We had to fight with Stanic to get the money refunded. A week after the install we got a loud whistling noise from the windows upstairs. We called to have them come back to check if something was wrong. After 2 weeks of phone calls and an e-mail to the corp. office, they finally came out to check the windows. The guy they sent said that all the windows were installed wrong and that they will all have to be removed and reinstalled properly. Since then I have called them 4 times. They still havent told me when or if they intend to fix their mistake. I asked to speak to the facility Manager, they refused. I called the Corp. 800 number. They refused to connect me with someone that can help.
I chose Stanek Windows because I thought they could make me a custom window for the front of my house that others would not. The window is 10ft wide X 7 ft tall! The rep. Joe came over and we were able to come up with the window I had in mind. I also had them built another window(smaller) for the front of the house to match. The windows are very high quality, look great and are very eco-friendly(triple pane). The were a little more $$ than I planned on, but worth every penny. After a delay of 4 weeks because my window was not on the truck today I came home to find that the window could not be installed because it was measured wrong. How does that happen? The salesperson bill has not returned my calls and the statement was prepared incorrectly so it added 1000 dollars instead of deducting it with a difference of 2 thousand dollars. On a positive note the installlation people were very nice and the bill was corrected but there seems to be a real quality issue with this group. I am curious how long I am going to have a piece of plastic where my old window was. DOMINIQUE the service manager tells me he is going to call me tommorrow after he looks into the issue....
Joe did a good job. He checked the exterior of the house when he came to provide estimate, when there was a foot of snow. The other guys did not check exterior. Any concern was handled either by Michelle or Joe in a timely way. If you decide to go with Stanek, ask for Ted to do the istallation. He was professional, did not waste any time and answered any question.
Excellent service,sales,and installation.Joe did a great job explaining the quality and efficiency of the windows and doors.The installers were top notch,Bill and Dan took the time to make sure the job is done right.Im very pleased . Weve noticed a big difference during the transition from the cold temps of the spring to the heat of summer,just how much less the heat and AC have been running.

The salesman was great, windows seem to be of an average quality, installation of the windows was horrible, which could be the reason for the lack of quality I am seeing with the windows. I feel more drafts from my new windows then the 60 year old windows they replaced.
We were very impressed with the quality of the windows and how knowledgeable our salesman Joe was. We had really old, very drafty windows and we are only sorry we didnt do this sooner!
BUYER BEWARE!! Windows leak something fierce and if you need them fixed customer service is terrible. Been waiting 2 years for them to fix a window that keeps catching. My advice...save your money for better quality and service.

2022-03-29Bit the bullet to replace 5 ancient original windows and a main entrance door system with quality energy efficient vinyl products. The windows are full sized replacements, not inserts. We are satisfied with the look and great improvement to heat retention and ease of use. Good price value as well.

2022-07-30I have two very large windows in my 3-season room that were at least 50 years old, and needed replacement. Stanek reps came to my home and were able to quickly order and install beautiful brand new windows for me. The screens didnt fit very well at first, mostly due to the large size of the windows. It was hard to get them snug. But, the company was quick to make things right, reordering screens to a VERY specific fit.Unfortunately, I also have a very agile kitty who was able to push her way through the new screen even with the windows barely open! Bad kitty. Stanek installers once again came to the rescue. I explained the situation, and we found that because these windows are SO big, I actually need a steel frame screen! So, long story short, the new steel frame screens are on the way, and Im very very happy with the way my issues were handled. 2018-06-12I absolutely love my windows! From the moment Joe, my salesman gave me my initial quote to the actual installation, it has been such a positive experience. The installers, Keith and Rob, did such meticulous work. Joe continued to stay in touch to make sure I was satisfied, which I definitely am. They were worth every penny. My home looks bright and inviting now, and they are sooooo easy to clean. I highly recommend Stanek and especially Joe and my installation team.

2018-10-23I have worked with Joe Dawidowicz @ Stanek windows twice now to have custom windows put in my home. He is an expert not only on the windows themselves, but how they are framed out and constructed. He was the only window guy that actually took the time to explain how the panes of glass are constructed for energy efficiency. After our initial meeting he came back again to meet with my contractor to ensure the measurements and the size of the windows would fit architecturally into my space. He also offered to communicate directly with the contractor on specs, delivery installation - all after the sale was done. Keith and his installation crew from Stanek windows, were polite and even went to home depot to get additional trim I wanted that they didnt plan for - I will 100% use them again for any future projects.

2021-04-09When I first moved into my house over 5 years ago I shopped around for windows and purchased 5 from Stanek Windows. Just a few weeks ago I made another purchase 3 windows and I have to say I was blown away. The service and quality are good if not better. my sales person Joe D (who I highly recommend you work with) has a great personality, easy to talk to, straight forward .... it goes without saying his couth says it all.The quality of work from the installers Bill and his crew. The value of the product being purchased all are 5 star. I have not had any issues, I have not had to use any sort of warranty, over 5 years I look at my windows and they look good as new. No fog, no gas leak. no water drops.Id definitely recommend Stanek Windows come out look at a project if I was having one done.

2019-11-03We were very pleased with our Stanek experience. Joe provided a very comprehensive overview of their products and took the time to understand our needs. We needed to reduce outside noise and better regulate the temperature in our master bedroom. We went with the triple pane glass and had 4 installed on our second floor.Our order was ready in about four weeks. The guys were able to install all four windows in one day and they also installed the shutters for us for a small additional fee. The overall installation was good and when we noticed a few areas that needed recaulked, we contacted Joe and he came out to fix it.We also did the financing through Green Sky. The only thing we don’t like about the financing option is that although the financing is technically “interest free”, you still have to pay monthly interest which is then reimbursed to you if you pay the whole amount off within the stated timeframe.
