In response to Lucien Huang, I was there that day and it was really busy and I saw several of you guys posted around the store just taking pictures and recording people with their permission not only is that extremely inconsiderate of you to record other customers without their knowledge but you were actually hindering other customers from doing school shopping by being in the way. While I was doing school shopping, I saw them talking to you and they did not yell at you in any way or form the employees were extremely nice to me and assisted me with my school shopping
The service is generally okay but the printing services here are abysmal. Only about 30% of their machines are working at any given time, the ones that do work will take 5 minutes just to calculate the cost of a job, and they comically overcharge for printing and then turn around and cap transactions so you have to do the entire process (which is so frustrating you will experience a small death of the self) three times over for any moderately sized job. Just go somewhere else if at all possible, these people hate you and want you to suffer.
Terrible in the Copy and print center. I have had faxes send to this location more than one time and they seem to lose them. Then when I have the other party resend the fax they find the original, however, can’t locate the second one. They are young, rude, and unprofessional. They don’t not protect the sensitivity of people’s information. I would not suggest sending faxes there to anyone (I guess under desperate circumstances). However, not anything with personal or sensitive information. They were out right horrible!
I needed an artwork printed on 9×12. The self service kiosks have no large size paper. The machines do, but you dont get to choose paper alignment so it basically fits whatever it sees onto full paper size. Even though I explained them all this (apparently I knew more than them on their services!!) they kept getting me wrong size prints. Then they go like your doc settings are wrong! They made me spent about 10 bucks for trash! Go to local print shops people! Costs less and you get what you want with so much more support!!! So many of them around the block.
Ive used this Staples store for a year with no problems. Tonight I tried printing papers off for my business & the computer that I was on forced itself to shut down. When I tried to reuse it it then said Lane closed. So I went to another in hopes that it wouldnt happen again & the exact same BS happened. I have never felt so cheated out of money & after tonight I will never use this store again. I will be looking into my own printer to use & will find printing paper & ink from a different company.
Destiny and her team treated me incredibly good. It was a super last minute thing to propose to my fiancee (she said yes!) and Destiny took the project as if she was the one proposing. She made the difference, and because of her Staples has a new loyal client. Thank you!
Recently purchased my supplies at this Staples!This store is wonderful. Tons of school supplies for my class and scored the sale on notebooks, glue, crayons, etc for my students. Awesome staff that helps and brings you to the approapriate aisle.Its clean and well stocked. They have a reward card, bonus rebates which makes your purchase free.Join the club and get e-mails to alert you for sales and $1 merchandise.
I do not write bad reviews however this store is horrible.Do not bother to print out your copies here. This store is a complete mess in the copying center. A lot of miscommunication and too many customers at the copying center. Not enough helpers. (Ignores their customers and walks away.) First the worker tells me that they wouldnt be able to print anything that night and to come by the next day. Then changes her mind and prints my materials. Honestly, if you can print out your own materials then you would have a better experience.
I have used Staples store for years with no problems. Today I been trying to print some pictures for a project. I was asked to e-mailed my pics with sizes detail. I did. I named my FILE and it were more clear than water but it didnt work from Michelle (printing stuff) !!!!!Horrible experience.
I recently was here for their printing services. Their machines were efficient and I was satisfied with the printouts. Other than that, this Staples has all the basic needs for your office. Join their Rewards club - now all purchases will earn a percentage of Staples Rewards back. And be on the lookout for mail in rebate items which you can get for FREE!! Also note that this is probably one of the few Staples in the city that opens as late as 10PM or 24 hours during the middle of the week. ;)
The employees at the copy and print center have no customer service skills. There were five people working and almost no one there and no one would give me the time of day. And the only reason I was there was because they made an error in a print job I got earlier. If you want fast and accurate service go somewhere else.
Went there for easy print out. First went to the first computers, $0.30 per minute, the pages wouldnt load and I was out $0.65. I then switched to another computer and the same exact thing happened again. For a broke college student, this staple milked me almost a dollar with no help from associates. Sad...
Yesterday at 3 pm I placed my order and the guy named Amir assured me that it will be ready today at 5pm. When I approached the office today at 6pm, they said that it is not yet ready. The hardcovering that costs five bucks required them more than 27 hours to execute...It’s pity but I think such a poor client service will deteriorate their business model sooner than later.
This staples is great! Its open 24 hours on most days so in an emergency you can count on this place. The staff is extremely helpful and patient. Everyones complaining about the copy center when chances are the problem you had was your own fault. Im not one to write reviews, but I wanted to balance out the bad reviews because if your Mac formatted USB drive cant be read on whats obviously a windows computer thats the fault of your own ignorance (and also partly Apple).
I have been so lucky to have Ayaz come to help me in my hours of need. He is totally amazing and for the very first time I feel I am not alone or totally insane. He was able to retrieve, eliminate and bring my computer and printer back into the 20th Century. Thank you Staples for providing me with the best of service and supported by a friendly and brilliant person.
Came here for a big printing of color copies, Desteny helped me quickly and was so friendly and helpful! She even helped me figure out how to save money with the schools non profit status. Highly recommended, especially since it was Saturday morning and I didnt send anything in beforehand.
I asked the upstairs sales associate for help finding a product, Website said they had 10. She was very rude and told me they didn’t have it and to go to another store. After looking on my own for a minute, Turns out they had them. Would definitely recommend going to another location if you enjoy the slightest bit of customer service.
Staples staff are super rude and racist. As we were trying to do a school project: find a specific object and record how you find it. And their staff just started yelling and us and kicking us out of the store, saying that we couldnt be there unless we were not shopping. I was thinking of buying and file binder there but I was kicked out because the staff thought we werent shopping. How ridiculous!! He told us we couldnt take pictures and we put our phones away. And he still yelled at us. I wonder how its a store selling stuff to people for study and work which doesnt allow people to study and even to buy stuff?! This is the most disappointed moment Ive ever had in New York. Staples, seriously?
Eventhough online it says the store closed at 8pm on sundays. I went at 7pm and they were closing. There was an elderly lady trying to let the worker know the internet says it closes at 8pm.. the chinese lady was extremely rude to the elderly lady saying my store closes at 7pm u cant read the door? I usually have a great friendly experience in staples. Just shocked me how rude and disrespectful this employee treated her.

I was having trouble logging in with my email which i have for the last 12 years i told this to the person working there.He says you sure you have the right email .i said yes and he says WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO.I GUESS THE QUALITY OF KNOWLEDGE AND PROFESSIONALISM GOES DOWN ONCE FRIDAY COMES
Cashier lady was busy talking to her co worker and payed no attention to me. When i told her i wanted to buy 60 black HP ink, she gave me an attitude and went off to get the ink. When i got home i realized she gave me the wrong ink. Waste of time and a major inconvenience for me. Very unsatisfied.
I went to the store today to buy a Kindle. When I got home and opened the box I found out that the device is used and has some scratches. Furthermore, Kindle was already installed and logged in under someones name!!!! This store is out my way and I need to go there again to return the Kindle. I am very disappointed. I dont recommend to go there, that is insane!!!
It was not so easy to find what I was looking for. The staff were chatting loudly when I was there too.It was not noticeable that there was a second floor where the school supplies were. I had to go around the whole first floor before I realized there must be another room.
Their motto should be, If youre desperate, weve got it! Prices are lousy and selection isnt very good, but theyll probably have what you need. The line at their print/copy counter can get crazy long, and theyre frequently out of their advertised specials, so maybe youre smarter heading to the even larger location on 6th Avenue around 10th Street.

2022-08-08There aren’t a lot of options for faxing & print services in the area, so I end up coming here pretty often. The people who work in the “Print & Marketing section are always incredible. V patient and helpful. The whole dpt deserves a raise.

2022-08-20I have come to this location several times for print services and I have to say that the staff really is great. Today was no exception. I was greeted by two separate workers, one of them being Madi who ended up helping me. I originally emailed the image in the wrong format but he was patient with me while I had it cropped and converted. While he waited, he helped my sister by answering many of her questions. He also addressed other customers who interrupted him with their own concerns. I was stressed due to a time constraint but Madi got everything done in time. He is a very pleasant, kind and professional young man and I truly appreciated him working with me.

2022-07-22Madi had to deal with two annoying customers and handled it so well. He was so kind, super helpful and sweet…even though he was slammed. Be kind customers and have a little patience. It’s printing services…it’s not that serious. :)

2022-08-18Horrible service. I purchased business cards which were supposed to be available for pick up today, I call them an hour before I need to pick them up and the representative says theyll be available by 7:30pm. When I go to the store the person in the front desk overlooks me though Im in the front of a straight line (sure that had nothing to do with me being brown), then when I get her attention she takes my order number and says my cards will be ready tomorrow. They couldnt tell me that over the phone, or send me an email, I had to literally commute down there from another borough to get an answer I could have received by phone! When I ask for a refund, they say I need to go through this online procedure because I paid by card. This is the first and last time I go to Staples for office supply unreliable, terrible service, absolute, trash with limited options to choose from, save your money and get them anywhere else. Ive been to dollar stores that are more reliable

2018-03-17My friend and I went in this Staples because he wanted to buy a paper shredder. He lives 2 blocks away and has been a frequent customer there. It was 2pm on a Saturday and it was not crowded. We waited for over 30 minutes for someone to help us and this was after the manager(who was helping another customer)acknowledged us. We left with no shredder and very aggravated.

2020-08-08Service here is so slow. You will grow roots waiting for any help. Employees don’t care about their jobs at all, you don’t see any motivation to help customers.

Instead, I waited 10 mins for any sort of acknowledgement, another 10 before being helped, all while 7 people got checked out ahead of me and 2 register people sat with an empty line and could have helped meStore seems well stocked and clean but the lack of service and the overall lack of process brings it down

2021-07-01I called because I left my sunglasses & the associate reassured me that it would be there when I picked them up. I call back and they have been thrown out. To always spend money here and have my belongings thrown out and not communicate that is annoying and the manager was an asswhole about the entire situation. He was not helpful and mocked me.

2019-03-19Good selection of products, though printing services arent as seamless as FedEx, the print quality is better. Makes sense if you think about what each company does as their main business.Staff are helpful, and knowledgeable - again within the limits of what the company does. As in, dont expect detailed advice on ergonomics of their office chairs, but count on good advice on printer types, running costs, pros n cons of inkjet v laser etc.

2020-01-19Photo printing service was terrible! waited 4 hours and didnt get what I asked for.Edit:Just had someone call me inquiring about my experience, they have offered to re print the photos that were done incorrectly free of charge.The man on the phone was polite and very quick to help with my issue.
