Star Cider is one of the best in the area if you are looking for locally sourced apple cider.
The staff was friendly. While the ciders were not my personal preference, there were numerous flavors of them. We really enjoyed the nachos, they were delicious!
Wonderful facility with a nice view; just a skip away from the lakeshore parks. Marvelous selection of ciders; even paid for a growler for the road. The Five Point was our favorite! And their street taco partner was pretty tasty too!
A solid addition to the area. Star fits the mold of a craft brewery / cidery they dont sell meals but sell local beer and cider, they have sharp decor and usually a food truck is there on the weekends.They provide lawn games, lots of room and tables and their interior is well decorated and clean.The cider is fantastic with a good variety but not too many on tap they keep it focused so you end up with a better product. For a good real glass of cider come on in and try them.
What an amazing experience. The cider offerings, mixed with the time of year provided a great time for my wife and I. Not only that, but Chad was super knowledgeable and offered pours of offerings not on the board (the wild-apple cider). Its too bad we live in Cleveland, because if this spot was closer, wed go atleast once a week. The atmosphere, the staff and the drinks, were all a part of why this place gets 5 stars from me.
Their ciders are fantastic, but the customer service is even better. I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences Ive had at a cidery/brewery in a long time. Attentive, knowledgeable, welcoming, and kind. I would recommend this place HANDS DOWN. Thanks again for such a great experience!

Nice and peaceful on a good day, the food is great but limited limited on its diversity. The drinks taste amazing. I highly recommend if youre looking for a quick getaway.
The 1st stop on our Crush Beer and Wine tour and it DID NOT disappoint. Granted, they had the game on so that helps.We had food (25/10 recommend the beer battered shrimp torta). Add on my favorite fall snack, donuts.......Um yes AND cider. It was a complete win win. we got to try all 8 of the featured ciders for our flights with the pumpkin being my fave. The staff was very friendly, place was VERY clean. Also. props to the staff for having complementary feminine products that i had to take part in. all around, great stop.
Such a lovely group of folks who truly care about your experience and memory. Patient and kind, the ladies pouring and running the show are fun and knowledgeable!
07/29/2021. Ciders very good. Also has nice variety of other local breweries. Atmosphere very nice. Staff needs improvement. 12 of us sat outside on their park type benches with umbrellas. 5 got wet paint on their clothes. When approach staff in an appropriate manner, they not only couldnt care less but did even say sorry about that. We left

A very casual atmosphere where the drinks are interesting, and paired with fantastic Mexican food, it is a must visit!! There is tons of outside seating, but a great mix of pavilion seating, and benches with shade umbrellas out on the grass.There are so many different cider cocktails that there has to be at least one for everyone. With that being said, Id highly recommend ordering a flight (sample) so you can try 4 or 8 flavors! Some of the flavors may surprise you, some not, but thats the experience we were after, just trying something new!On the food side, the Mexican food was REALLY good! I just read that the owner/chef was planning to have a taco sampler sometime soon, so we will definitely be back to check that out. My party had an order of fish taco, one burrito (huge, tons of beef), and one loaded nachos w/shrimp. Everything was delish!! 😋🤩
Fantastic ciders, and I try a lot of ciders in general. Nice variety, a lot of seasonals - the worst I could say was dang, I cant bring home some of the flavors in cans. Casual, clean and open, outdoor space available, and tasty Mexican/Central American small plates. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Cider flights available. They knew how to not overdo any flavor, and even their basic flagship cider was very good. Well, apple pie flavor was _very_ apple pie, but if I wanted liquid apple pie, it would be my choice.
Best cider we’ve ever had! Lots of options including alcoholic slushees and beer if you’re not feeling the cider. Lots of seating and space. The Mexican food is awesome as well! Overall the perfect brewery experience. We went twice and left with tons of cider, cannot recommend highly enough!
My first visit to Star. Cider . the tasting room is nicely decorated and there is ample parking outside. I asked for some suggestions based on my taste in cider and the server gave me a few samples she was super helpful and pleasant we enjoyed two different ciders each and ordered some quick bites from their menu. As it was kind of chilly we didnt venture outside to their patio but looks like theres nice sitting outside and we were told you can also rent a fire pit . plan to come back again

They have top notch cider and some of the best mexican food Ive had outside of Arizona. The combination of food,drinks and atmosphere is fantastic!
Initially we were hesitant to stop here because we didn’t think we cared for cider that much however we Decided to be adventurous and stopped. We were amazed that we found ciders we liked! It was a refreshing change from the many wineries here. We also tried some of the food and it was outstanding! This is definitely a place that we would stop at again. They were very friendly and it wasn’t overly crowded!! I don’t usually post reviews but I was so impressed with this gem!!

We had a great time at the lively tasting room/bar of Star cider. Their ciders were quite tasty, some are on the sweet side for me but they have several varieties for any taste. They also serve local wine, beer, and a few cider-based cocktails.
The food is lovely. The nachos, tacos and cider are well worth a try. The staff were friendly and helpful.An additional bonus was the lovely scenery just out back. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio and looking out into the woods.It would be nice if they offered more choice in non-alcoholic beverages. We only had a choice between plain cider and root beer.

This was my first time here. We went for lunch. It far exceeded my expectations. The cider was very tasty and had a nice range of dry to sweet. They also had a beer selection and signature cocktails that I didnt get to try. The facility was clean, modern, and spacious indoors and out. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and very kind and accommodating to my young children (2 and 5). And, most surprisingly, the Nenos Mexican Kitchen food was out of this world. The carnitas tacos were the best tacos Ive had in my entire life. No exaggeration. The Burri-Roc (burrito) was also super tasty and unique. Ill be back soon after the growler of Frisky Whiskey Cider I brought home is empty. If you are considering going, let me do the work for you. Go! Now!

Food and venue are 5 stars, ciders were only 3. We did the full flight and tried all 8 ciders they had on tap (ranging from dry to sweet), only liked 2 of them. They also have a couple local beers not on the menu.

Always the best experience! Cider, cocktails, food and staff are always top notch. Between the good selection of cider and beverages to the tasty chips & gauc or tacos you cant go wrong. Plus, my little one loves Milo, the biggest, friendliest yellow lab!

Star Cider is one of the best family friendly places to grab a drink! And their selection is so creative and delicious! I also highly suggest the Mexican food, which is authentic and some of the best food you could possibly have!!
Excellent ciders, particularly the Forever Wild cider with local wild apples. Nice open space with patio open to the forest behind; live music during our visit, good food and friendly staff. I took home some canned and bottled cider, will certainly visit again!
Star cider has quickly became a local staple due to their excellent location, excellent service, and excellent products.they serve local beers on tap as well as their own ciders so there much to love about the tap list. It’s a particular must see in the area especially during the summer.

Always a required stop when in the FLX! Very spacious, always something interesting going on for entertainment. Excellent rotating stock of flavors with fair prices and on-site food available. Staff is friendly and knowledge! Definitely a place worth spending your time at!
Totally awesome country environment we can sit outdoors in the Sun and enjoy life to the fullest with friends and family the staff is great always smiling the food out of this world I would recommend this place to everyone for a quick bite to eat and a couple glasses of good cider

From humble beginnings to a grand tasting room nestled next to CMAC. Every cider they put out is incredible. Actual flavors and colors from the ingredients, not additives. Just all around a wonderful place to get cider and enjoy. Be sure to try the Cranberry Cider!

We came in as a group with a reservation, we were not greeted and no one tried to help us until we asked. The person who was in charge decided to pet a dog and not was his hands before he came over to serve us. Will never go again and wouldnt recommend to anyone.

2022-04-23Fantastic cider, cocktails, and experience. Highly recommend if youre a fan of craft cider. Friendly staff. Nenos has an excellent variety of food/snacks if needed and just as friendly staff. Too many favorite ciders to name, but off the top of my head Cranberry, Dream Catcher, Orange Clove, Apple Crisp, Forever Wild, Ginger & Juice, Staycation. Too many to name.

2022-03-06I can’t add enough great about the place top to bottom. The only bad thing I will say is they posted on social media a giveaway once it only got 3 shares and 2/3 were me and my wife and a winner was never chosen however I won’t hold it against them. The place is great. The employees the venue the cider the cocktails the events the food I mean it is all just great. Even the clothes they sell are great. I’m glad I live the 20 minutes away I do or I would be in everyday everything is just great. I HIGHLY recommend anyone from out of town stops here and from in town stops here I always look forward to going. Perfect place in the summer with outdoor seating the drinks the food and the venu the live music. Anyone local knows all the great bars, restaurants, and hottest places. This for me is the best by far.

The yard is awesome, great music, not too loud, nice clear sound. Indoor and outdoor seating with games available to play. This should be a must see place.

Great in warm weather for outside space. Family fun options. They have a great Sunday brunch as well. Often live music. Non alcoholic options for the kids as well
