What a hard-working, friendly group of people! This morning there were probably about 10 people working, a long drive-thru line and lots of people waiting inside. I dont think any one of them could have been working any faster, and were friendly to each other and the customers while doing it. Its a tough time to be in customer service and they rocked it :)
I came here today 11/07/21 around 1:15pm and went through the drive through. The girl who took my order was very nice. When I got to the window there was a young man window and he did not open his mouth to speak not one time! I He just stuck the card reader out I paid and said thank you and nothing not one word from him! Very rude and just not a good look and he needs to fix that attitude and energy!
The people who work here are beyond rude. They do not know how to treat their customers. I was continuously pushed to the back of the line because they “didn’t see me waiting” and then when I went to the counter so they COULD see me. A staff told me he wasn’t going to take my order and sent me to a staff member that couldn’t hear. I have nothing against deaf community however, he didn’t get my order right after telling him 3 times. I asked if someone else could take my order and I was told no. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told no again. I will never go to this location again. Never. I will tell everyone about this experience so I can continue to spread the word and suggest that more people do not go to this location.
Came here today on my lunch, it was extremely busy in drive thru. So I decided to go inside, everyone was so polite and patient. I ordered a double smoked bacon sandwich and an iced caramel macchiato. Unfortunately the barista made me a hot caramel macchiato. He apologized and fixed the drink. I do understand mistakes happen so I wasnt upset because Ive worked in a cafe before. I really like the way that he handled the mistake and I do appreciate him making me a new one while it being busy.Thank you for the smiley face :)
Great service, but please do something about your parking lot. There were almost, like, 17 accidents in the span of five minutes this morning, with people driving in all directions and squeezing in between other cars (the drive-through overflow completely blocks all cars from pulling out of their spots and folks trying to pull out of the drive-through after getting their food/drinks).
Cant say I am a fan of how they changed there new menu set up as they do not list all the flavors. Being someone who doesnt go very often doesnt know whats available there. Drinks are always good. They have fast service and offer to go orders via there app.Location is quite small.
Absolutely love this place! They know me so well and I know them as well, well at least the evening shift! Laura is my favorite. And her other co worker. He has dreads and they always treat me so well and always know who I am and what I want before I even say anything. Customer service is fantastic and so is the food and drinks!!! ♡
Employees are rude. I order the same drink at other Starbucks I go to all the time. At this store, my drink was made wrong (missing sweet cream which is only behind the counter) so I asked the employee if they could just add some cream into the drink and immediately got attitude. I didn’t ask for a new drink, I wasn’t rude, I just told them it’s supposed to have cream. I’m glad I don’t have to come back to this Starbucks location.
Its a Starbucks. You know what youre getting. The staff however is quite affable and funny. If you have an extra minute and make repeat visits theyll crack you up on days you needed it.Easy walking distance from Strong Hospital. Long skinny layout means lots of two-tops if you cant find a seat ask to share nearly everyone in their is a professional.
Busy location. I think if you pre-order its 5 stars. Customers are walking in grabbing their orders 30 seconds their out. At least 5 employees working. If you walk in to order (I was one of two customers) the wait is at least 10 min. I had to ask for my small coffee. No one bothered to ask if I wanted cream. Then the barista is almost annoyed that I ask for cream because I touched my cup. My egg wrap, there just seemed so much confusion where my sandwich is. I generally enjoy Starbucks and use it as a treat for myself.
A decent Starbucks. A little lacking for space, but solid staff, consistent drinks and food to other stores, some decent seating with outlet access if theyre not too busy and very convenient to Strong hospital, the University of Rochester and a number of shops. Lots of students and medical people pass through this location. Also, it has a drive-thru! Parking can be limited, but the farthest spots arent usually too far a walk to the door. This Starbucks is as good as any!
They are AMAZING...this girl staff at around 11.00 pm on June 30th 2019 gave me the Best Service experience of my life. U know how? She not only assisted me with my order, but also, helped me identify the US coins and i loved the way she delivered the sandwich. She held it with her both hands and we from Asia, India, feel blessed when someone gives something to others by holding with both hands, even if u can hold it with 1 hand. You know, it made me feel a bit more respected by Starbucks.. thanks young Starbucks Lady.. u made my day..
Best Starbucks around, the staff changes more often then Id like😄 but every new member of their team on long pond, is always so friendly and kind and so very fast. They train a lot of employees there, so it helps to be patient with them. Theyre very fast but theyre not the Flash. Its not their fault you overslept or got tied up in traffic and are running late for work. Especially when you have the ability to order your drink and pay through the app and decide when its to be ready, within reason of course.
Good location, lots of seating and outlets if you need to work off your laptop or charge your phone. Strong WiFi connection. Drive through service available and a large parking lot in the back of the building. Service is very fast and the staff were polite and professional.
This location is terrible. I order through the app to avoid waiting for my order to be prepared and yet always have to wait five to ten minutes or more for them to finish my order after I arrive. To add insult to injury, my order is frequently wrong including an occasion when the barista forgot to add coffee to two of the beverages. I will not be ordering from this location again.
Rude and unprofessional employees that need better training and respect for customers. I can always spend $6 + on a drink else where. Plenty to chose from in Rochester. Sasso and the spot just to name two.I only say this because when we contacted the manager he didn’t care his employee was rude and cracked my phone screen. Fine.Kindness goes a long way when actually practiced.
The majority of staff is very rude. And they do not have time to listen to the customer. They make rude comments about a customer while the customer is at the window.My love for Nitro cold brew coffee takes me to this place everyday and everyday I am dissatisfied and disappointed at the behavior of the staff.Starbucks! Please ask your staff to show empathy, it goes a long way.
I’m not a coffee drinker, I enjoy chai lattes. The baristas greet me by name, are always friendly and make sure that my drink is perfect. I also enjoy meeting friends & colleagues at the Mt. Hope Starbucks - a great environment to catch up or get a bit of work done. (Also, I love their gluten free menu options!)
I went to college town Star Bucks in Rochester NY where asked for the new Green drink green drink” is made with black tea, matcha and coconut milk.Jun 30, 2016People.com › FoodI didnt get this drink. The microphone is so damn to hear that they put lemonade in my drink with out asking or telling me. What if I had alligies! I told the man at the window and he knew about the the problem because they been having problem.
This was my first time going to the mt hope location and the experience was horrible so ended up leaving and going to Tim Hortons. You guys dont have an entrance sign so it was confusing as to how to get to the drive thru and The drive thru is set up to where people that have already been served cant get out because the people waiting in line that havent been served yet block them in so I was being beeped at because of how its set up So I had to end up parking and going inside and the line was wrapped around to the door not to mention the drive thru was extremely long so clearly you guys need some more help at that location and the drive thru needs re done because its a huge inconvenience .
You could say that I have a slight addiction to Starbucks. I like the caramel macchiato. I get it multiple times a week. I know they are not local and we have some amazing local coffee shops around, but they are convenient and delicious. I very much appreciate the mobile app so I can order ahead and pick up without waiting in line. It really helps speed up my good mood in the morning.
The latte I bought was ok, but when I opened the bag for my breakfast croissant the cheese was only on one side, and the sandwich was hard on one side like when you overheat a microwaved sandwich. The same thing happened the day before at the East Ridge location. For the price of these sandwiches I expect better from Starbucks.
I saw online that this location is open from 5am-11pm Monday through Saturday. I work in medicine so I have to be at work by 6am. I pulled up to the drive through of this location and saw someone inside the store but was completely ignored for about 5min. I decided to pull around and just go inside to check their hours. They were posted right next to their door confirming that they open at 5am. The male employee who I saw ignoring me at the drive through came to the door, opened it and turned the lights on. In the meantime another customer had pulled up to the drive through who he completely ignored for the 5min while the other employee working with him made my coffee. As I was leaving he finally put his headset on to take her order with no apologies for the wait. I’m sorry, I feel like it’s extremely strange that this franchise location posts hours that they open at 5am but the employees try their hardest to ignore customers hoping they leave and just don’t use the drive through until 5:30?? For a Starbucks located across from a major medical center you are in the wrong location if you don’t want to serve people early. I don’t get it lol. I’ll avoid this location in the future. Very sketchy experience which is something I never thought anyone could say about a Starbucks run haha.
They took forever to make my drink because only one person was doing drinks for both stations while other workers stood around talking and laughing. I was already there too long because they couldnt handle a simple return. I brought everything needed for it but it still was complicated. I ended up missing a appointment I had which was my fault but never imaged it would take more then 15min when no one was in line.
The worker who served me tried to tell me I couldn’t get a refill of iced tea after a purchase of the violet drink! Absolutely ridiculous!!!! I’ve been having issues the last few months with different workers at different Starbucks and feel like they need to reteach all the workers!!!
The worker, Holland, in this location is the rudest Ive ever encountered in a Starbucks and I go to A LOT of Starbucks. He embarrassed me in front of all the waiting customers. If I hadnt already paid I would have left without my drinks. He isnt a good representation of the Starbucks name.
I was told the sandwich I ordered was scrambled egg. It turned out to be a whole fried egg. I specifically said I didnt like and didnt want any egg white. I went back to get a new sandwich. They made me a different sandwich with scrambled egg, BUT it was a less expensive sandwich. I HAD TO DEMAND. a refund of the difference. I shouldnt have had to ask for it at all. I should have been COMPLETELY REFUNDED, GIVEN A NEW SANDWICH, AND GIVEN AN APOLOGY WITH A $5 gift card. Im VERY DISAPPOINTED with this Starbucks!!!!
I’ve been walking to this starbucks for a year with my dog. The first time I called to make sure it was ok to bring him (25lbs goldendoodle) and they said absolutely we love dogs here you just have to get your drink and sit outside! So nice because it would just be a stop on our walk. Today was different, got to the counter waited for 5 minutes even though no one was in line or waiting.....girl is talking to me about my order then looks at my dog and asks if it’s a service dog (ILLEGAL TO DO THAT) and then proceeds to tell me I can’t have my dog and need to leave immediately. HORRIBLE customer service. Told her i’ve been doing it for a year. Ya won’t be coming back to this location. SLOWEST and worst customer service even though they have 20 people working at all times.
They gave my order to someone else, rude after it was addressed and took them 10 minutes to make me a Carmel frapachino and she just almost tossed it to me and said here after she said what are you waiting for with an attitude. My friend got her tea my order was given away.

2022-02-12Hi it’s your friendly neighborhood nurse here! Unlike many of my coworkers, I’m not someone who regularly gets coffee every day but when I do want to splurge a little, my drink of choice is a grande Starbucks cold foam. This Starbucks in particular is conveniently the closest location to my home and school, and so it’s the one I go to the most in Rochester. Overall, the barista’s are friendly and I’ve never had a problem with my order. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is the wait time in the drive thru or in-person; I sometimes find myself waiting 10+ minutes to get my order. To be fair, I’ve noticed wait times are slower here in general compared to other cities in the country. I’ve also been to other Starbucks in Rochester and this one on Mount Hope is better than the others. Anyway, if you need your caffeine fix, it’s easy to recommend this place, just be prepared to wait. Also Starbucks if you are listening, if you can sell a cup of just the cold foam and nothing else, that’d be great!

2022-01-18I love Starbucks top quality Ive always have a excellent experience every time I visit. Lemon loaf so good it melts in your mouth pumpkin cheesecake muffin warm up is so delicious 😋 medicine ball very powerful herbs especially good for when not feeling well...Majority of their cappuccinos are on point but my favorite which is seasonal is the strawberry funnel cake delicious!!!

2022-05-13After a few months of closure, the interior renovation made this place look very nice!As of Now, the cafe is open until 8pm. After that this store is open only for drive-thru!!!

2022-01-10I had an uber eats delivered to me the bag was secure however the lid on one of the coffees was not, leading the rest of our order to be damaged. Imagine if I were picking up my coffee in store, what if I had gotten burned? Thats dangerous. Do better.
