My review here is ALL ABOUT THE STAFF. Ive been in several Starbucks of late, and at one place we ordered a coconut milk latte where the kids obviously were new-- we got a hot glass of coconut milk. But not at the East Ridge Location-- these folks were incredibly personable, kind and full of smiles. They knew what they were doing, made good recommendations, and just made my day a little brighter for the brief conversation.I worked as a Barista for a year when I was young, and my family was considering opening a coffee shop, and for me, its about a good, strong cup of coffee served with a friendly smile and a bit of chit chat. This Starbucks does it right. Im not often over on this side of the city, but when I am, Ill go the extra mile to stop here for my afternoon cuppa joe!
My go to place! Today a young woman named Rebecca helped my mom and I in the drive thru, her customer service skills are amazing and made sure we got exactly what we asked for, as my mom and I were having a difficult day she definitely brought smiles to our faces! Rebecca saved our day, definitely will be coming back!
The baristas need to slow down and read the drink labels. I came around 6pm tonight to get a decaffeinated beverage and low and behold it ended up being caffeinated. This might not be an issue for some, but my body does not handle caffeine well. I get that mistakes happen, but for some these mistakes can be dangerous. If you can’t make the drink decaf for whatever reason, just say so so I can order something else.
This location has the best costumer service out of any Starbucks Ive been to. I was looking to order a blonde roast, but unfortunately Starbucks stops brewing this roast at a certain time of day. Instead the gentleman gave me a few other similar options that were comparable and helped me make a decision. On top of the gentleman being so helpful, once I got to the window the young lady was very friendly and have me a very nice compliment. I could tell everyone was working together to get orders out fast since this is such a busy location. All in all most Starbucks employees are friendly but this location was great.
I usually love coming to this Starbucks, but today I had the worst experience starting with the horrible costumer service. My friend wanted their biggest drink but the staff response was “are you sure u want that it’s a little big for u”. Then I got the wrong sandwich and the lady snagged it right out of my hand without me finishing what I had to say. I received the wrong sandwich again with attitude. So very disappointed. Unacceptable.
I usually dont visit Starbucks often, but a friend gave me a gift card for my birthday and I was excited. It took a little while to be acknowledged and when I asked how to use the birthday email the young lady was less than friendly. There were 4 ? Working and once I placed my order the wait wasnt long but the customer service was not what I expected. The young lady that handed me my order when ready, was polite. The spinach wrap and mocha frap were great. Just seemed like everyone was tired or not having a good morning.
Usually service is good and coffee outstanding but this time the service was very poor, my daughter who wasnt quite sure how to order or what was made very uncomfortable, I asked for Blonde( which is Veranda now) and was corrected harshly( i knew already but forgot)and was told it would have to be brewed which was fine but i felt like it was a bother, then when i did get my coffee IT WAS THE WORST!!! It was so STRONG couldnt even drink it. Will i give them another chance yes but 1st impressions linger!!
Looks like they received new label system and the orders were coming out of order or they were missing. There was so many orders no one was picking up at the same time people were waiting for their orders very long till they started asking people what they ordered. People working there seemed super nice but I think in this situation a manager should have made decision to do old fashion way, write on the paper , serve people in order. I waited for my pink drink almost 45 min.
Always a friendly face when picking up my mobile order in the morning. Fast courteous service when not placing a mobile order. Nothing against the staff or the establishment but the folks that use the drive through tend to forget they are in a parking lot and they place their car smack in the middle of a lane blocking through traffic and then look at you as if you are doing something wrong when you try to get by them. To management, maybe look into some drive through lane markers for people that have no common sense to follow.Thanks for the fabulous coffee and service though.
I am a daily Starbucks customer. I use this location on occasion when Im in the area. My drink was delicious. My service on the other hand was horrible. Two woman stood at the window not sure if maybe someone was learning or new. I barely got a hello I got no smile and just a cold shoulder. The drink was food but the service was horrible I do not plan on returning.
This morning my order was incorrect at a different Starbucks and I went inside this one to see if I could get my drink remade. A guy named Chip helped me out and didnt hesitate in making me a new one, as well as making my day! Also another guy named Theo assisted with some charm and a smile. Thanks guys!!
I went to this Starbucks for the first time about a week ago and ordered a mocha latte and there was a small mistake and I called the restaurant the manager offered me a free drink of any kind. I got my drink the next day and the staff is always super nice and friendly. I will be going back here soon.
Worst service again at the Irondequoit Starbucks. I frequent Starbucks at least 3 times a week. Normally this Starbucks is very good but today was an exception. The attitude I received was unbelievable. It was as though I was bothering them. Im sorry Im a person of color but that doesnt give the majority white employees that were there today an excuse to treat me like a second class citizen. Ill be frequenting other Starbucks from here on out. Oh, and to the Yenta with the attitude hopefully youll find a career in your new move See You Next Wednesday. Ill be contacting Starbucks corporate.
Gosh! It was only the second time I had ever been to a Starbucks and I felt so welcomed. The woman Mary was so nice and was sure to conversate with me while I waited. I cant find my recipet but the girl who took my order helped me navigate the menu! Shes was super nice and also relatable. She had red hair! I will definitely come back
The barista chip at this Starbucks, was so extremely kind too remake mine and my boyfriends drinks we ordered on mobile. My boyfriend didn’t realize this morning how badly it had snowed and it took him 45 mins too just get out the drive way. When he arrived at the Starbucks, he was greeted kindly and Chip offered too remake the whole order. Genuinely good service and a made a great start to our morning. Im not a big Starbucks fan but we had a meeting there and this place is great for a meet with family and or friends. They have a large table for your group or plenty of smaller tables to accommodate your party size. People were i and out of this place most of the afternoon when I was there ... it was very busy.
Family style run independent business that grew from a tiny little cafe next door to what is now. This is my # 1 daytime nutrition stop. Everything I have eaten there is healthy, fresh, good for me and tastes good into the bargain. The smoothies are the best value in town starting at approximately $5.
Last two nights theyve had my order incorrect and drive thru took longer than expected. Threw away a drink cause it had coffee in it and spoke of it tonight. Not one mention of a refund or a drink to replace the mishap. Poor customer service! Also dont like they dont acknowledge you at the window until your order is finished.
Goodman/Ridge location used to be a fav stop, until a shift in workers/management. Wait time is longer and occasionally orders not made correct. It has taken at times over 15min after the mobile order 15 min time for just an Americano (espresso and water). Drivethru is ridiculous. If it has a semi long line, expect to be there at least 25 min or longer.Compared to other locations in the area, this is the slowest. Some have tighter parking lots and are more efficient with their drive through and wait time. If you have the time to wait and love this location and the staff, great. If you are in the morning rush, either make time or choose a different Starbucks.
I had a Salted Caramel Frappe. I love the cruchy Satly bits in it. But honestly it just tasted like really sugary milk with a hint of coffee. It seemed as though, if I were to get a boost of energy from it , it would be because of the sugar high. Lol but overall its a very clean place fully staff, there friendly and professional. My other con is there parking lot set up which is terrible. But probably wont spend almost $5 on sugary milk again.
I ordered online, when i got to the store i found two of my drinks on the counter ledge with one of my drinks having just the sauce in it, so i called the barista to adress it. She said they were out of the sauce and turned right around instead of adressing it, ok they maybe busy. I handed the other drink to my significant other and headed back to wait to be helped. Gave up went to the front and asked for help, the dude was friendly! Got my drink and it tatsted like it was just milk.... ok bad drink thats fine. So i headed back to my table with my significant other, and he said he cant taste the 2 shots or anything in a frappuccino.. i worked at Starbucks before i get it but this is scrapping the bottom of the barrel i was really disappointed and even tho there old staff was good i dont think i can go there again. Not recommended
Ordered drink too early not realize how bad I was snowed in, took me 30 minutes and when I came to grab my order Chip realized how late I was and without hesitation remake my whole order so it was fresh and good to eat. Thank you chip and irondequoit Starbucks for excellent customer service and dedication.
Very busy store and guys are doing great work since now they have to deal with app order as well very little time to clean store and look for if anything else, but I just noticed that you guys hired more people so I can tell that everything is getting better now . I usually like their drinks, but today 2 of the 3 drinks in our order were messed up. One of them was entirely wrong and the other had ice in it and was ordered with no ice. We called and they offered a refund but they said we would have to go back to the store to get the refund.
Staff is amazing, I go there almost daily to work (business owner) and get away from my facilities... and Im sure theyre bored of me getting the same thing every day though they always have it ready to go. Only recommendation is be choosy when you go, though the employees are awesome, its definitely not easy getting work done there around some of the regular groups who will socialize mid afternoon or evening. They can be rather loud and inconsiderate. 60% of the time, coffee shop vibe, soft music and the whole deal... sayyyy 130-4, high school cafeteria you can hear over your headphones on full blast.
I was reminded why I do not got to Starbucks. It was a busy morning and I understand that. What I do not understand is people ordering hot drinks and getting them before me. 2 people ordered after me. I said something, then the barista purposely did not make my drink for 4 more drinks. Yep great service. #neveragain
It is not the smiley/friendly Starbucks that I can say. I dont know but I have worked in customer service before and you have to smile! Smiling gives some good energy. Fake it, then it will make you feel better. Because people looking at you will also smile..But this is the only Starbucks that I go to since it is close by and I can work here when the library is closed. I have no complaints aside from the smiling. Nothing special here..
The white hot chocolate was very delicious. Good enough for me to consider stopping to get one again. I tried the sou vide (hoping the spelling is right on that) egg whites with spinach and red peppers. They were excellent. I met a friend there that i haveny seen in over a year. We sat there talking for 3 hours and didnt feel rushed or unwelcome at all.
An employee with a nose ring there doesnt know how to use the register. Another employee tried to help but they still couldnt figure it out. No customers and she took 10 min to figure out how to press one button. I walked out. I tried to give them another chance but it was also a fail. I asked for my drink with cream instead of milk, please tell me why they put both cream and milk causing the cream to clump. And when I asked them to remake it their excuse was that the drink came with milk, have they no knowledge of substitutes??at this Starbucks? Then I thought ok if substituting cream is too difficult of a concept let me ask for the remake just with milk, then they forgot the drink had syrup! 😂I swear a brain is needed to make drinks
Go thru here a few times a week. The male employees are pleasant enough but the morning females always seem unfriendly and put off. This morning she even cut me off during an interaction, no smile, no good morning. As the first interaction with people in the morning, you want it to be friendly. It sets the tone for the day.
Its Decent coffee with some bad manners! Lately I have spent my evenings there doing my work on my laptop. Last two evenings the staff were not friendly. A gentle reminder that the store would close would have sufficed. One of there employee kept banging each chair on the bar as I worked and had 45mins till closing. I was the only person on the bar. He continued thrashing others pieces of furniture around me.
Popped in here a week or two before Christmas. Coffee did not taste fresh. Tasted as if it had been brewed hours ago. Employees were friendly but seemed as if they could use better direction and guidance behind the scenes. Perhaps they are too comfortable being left to their own initiative sort of thing. Also, to be frank, I got the impression that the pretty girls get away with doing less than everyone else. I know that seems like an obscure observation but Im speaking from the position of someone that understands the impact of social dynamics in the workplace as it relates to distribution of labor. Final thought: sagging your pants is not appropriate at work. Nobody wants to see what color underwear youre wearing.
Drove 6hrs up here for a friends bridal shower, and went to this Starbucks twice. First time was drive thru with no one else in line, INCREDIBLE service (and my espresso shots werent dead!) Second time was in the store, and the barista stopped to ask me something to make sure my drink was perfect for me. (Gentleman at the register also suggested good flavor pairings for my beverage) Wish I lived near this Starbucks, its on-par with the one I work at haha :)
Super friendly and for the most part pretty quick, however something needs to be done with the drive through. Ever since RRH opened, cars line up for the drive thru across the parking lot. I have had irate people almost hit my car a few times to cut in front of me while I was patiently waiting in the CORRECT drive through area. I would strongly suggest putting arrows up in the drive thru, this may clear the chaos in the morning.
I have decided to give this location a second chance since my last experience was really horrible and really sucked monkey balls. I ordered a green tea lemonade sweetened venti which was once again made wrong lol. They remade it once again and they also didnt make the coffee I ordered right as well. For me coming in at a time that wasnt so busy big middle finger up to you Starbucks Im done with this location. Targets location makes you look pathetic and weak haaaa lol.
Only one of the staff was friendly and seemed to know what was going on. Girl working put down my drink without announcing it or calling my name leading to confusion. Would have been a one star review if the Gentleman hadnt been so friendly. Expected more from a Starbucks.
The girl who made my drink put it down without calling it out and continued making drinks until I had to walk up and ask her if this was my drink. She smelled it, said yes, hands the drink to me, and laughs as she walks away. Always very poor customer service and rude employees. If I ever want starbucks, I go to the one in Target right across the street...
Starbucks really is expensive plus the menus are very confusing and not so easy to read plus the staff is no help their blend is more like a burnt taste I wouldnt recommend going there instead I would recommend going to Starbucks or Tim Hortons at least their menus and prices are much better than Starbucks.
Visit often all these locations. My. Hope, Long Pond Rd. & Ridgeway Ave., Henrietta location near Jefferson Rd. & E.Henrietta Rd., and last but not least. The one location I did not know existed until my son showed me. The Monroe Avenue location before you get near the expressway.

2022-03-28This location is my go-to because of the convenient location. I usually order on the app, and its ready by the time I pick it up. The reason why Im rating 4/5 stars is because theyre always running out of essentials and unexpected closures. I just want to shout out how sweet the staff is even when its super busy!

2022-04-12It was busy when I came here, but the line moved quickly. My order was filled correctly. It seemed like a lot of people were coming in to pick up online orders and waits for those customers were generally just a few minutes (even with a large order).

2021-04-03This is our home store and a frequent stop after sports practices/games at the high school and local soccer arena. We typically order through the app and pickup is quick and the staff is friendly. The drive thru can get backed up and crazy at times (which is why we use the app). They recently remodeled the store during the pandemic and it looks great. Highly recommended.

2022-06-18Ghetto Starbucks. What you see is what you get. The girls don’t look presentable looking like they rolled out of bed. Hair in a Bonet and not brushed. They Don’t try to get to know there customers like other Starbucks when handing your coffee at the drive thru. Ok no tip I guess then. The place is dirty and not kept up with the areas with napkins like where am i supposed to place my cup to add my sugar.

2022-04-11Very inconvenient that they keep closing the cafe for no reason. And sometimes the drive thru too. One time there were 15 cars waiting in the drive thru when the whole store was closed. They never put up a sign.

2022-06-05Lately theyve been very inconsistent with closing time and when they are open. I dunno if they cant find workers or something but Ive showed up numerous times to see them closed and its annoying when you go out of your way.Id say this is the best Starbucks in Rochester. Very friendly staff and the coffee is just spot on!

2021-05-25I love my Starbucks! Everyone here is so polite, kind, and professional. My order is consistently correct & when I order from inside I see how fast & hard they work. They have been having issues w/ the app, but that hasn’t kept them from doing an excellent job. I hope their leadership appreciates their hard work.
