I am a huge fan of Starbucks, I go at least 4 times a week. And let me just say this Starbucks in west gate plaza is the worst one I’ve ever been to. I do mobile orders just because they get my order wrong over the speaker. And even with mobile orders they continue to get it wrong. I asked for a simple strawberry refresher and they cannot even do that right. Someone from corporate needs to address this stores issues. 0/10 experience, taste, and consumer service. If I could post this review with 0 stars I would.
I’ve tried this Starbucks location several time and every time something is wrong with the order . The last straw was buying two Soy Carmel ribbons crunch. My daughter drink taste like ice and Carmel . My drink tasted like old ice coffee . I have Starbucks at least once a week and will go out my way to never go back here again. Also not to mention the crazy wait time once you get to the window..
The service here is unacceptable. Customer service and order accuracy are irrelevant aspects of the experience being provided. I used to use this location daily. In the recent weeks/months the quality has disappeared.I spoke with the manager Amy this morning after another unacceptable experience. She was polite and cheerful but unwilling to acknowledge the level of irritation created by this store’s performance. I received an apology and the opportunity to return and wait in a long drive thru line for restitutions. I will not be back to spend any additional time or money with this location. Please star bucks. Please do better.~ a once loyal customer
I stood there in front of not one but SEVERAL employees for about 10 minutes. I was there to pick up an order for an Uber customer. It was one drink and I arrived about 10 mins after I got the order on the app. It should have been ready as they are at ANY OTHER location. It was NOT ready and I was NEVER asked by ANYONE if I could be helped. This means the customer had been waiting at least 20 mins already. I left and I’ll never return, I advise the same to anyone...
For years, Ive ordered the same thing every week: a venti salted caramel hot cocoa made w/ soy milk, no whipped cream. For years, this location gets the order wrong almost every time. I understand they dont always have the toffee topping (in fact, they rarely have it), but thats no excuse to get the rest of the order wrong. They add coffee or leave our the caramel or make it with whole milk or add whipped cream or make a grande rather than a venti. This last visit, it took four -- FOUR -- times to get it right. The really annoying thing is they never apologize, they never offer a refund, and they always act annoyed, like its my fault they cant get this fairly simple order correct. Its more than a little frustrating.
The Westgate Starbucks has great staff, good location , excellent service.Only item I noticed was that their windows were filthy. Maybe dusty construction is nearby and it rained making it look horrible. Someone should schedule a cleaning. Just me trying to totally enjoy a place.
I used to go every Saturday for coffee and breakfast.They are more concerned with their drive thru customers and ignore customers inside. Always out of Pike coffee and make frequent order errors. Seems poorly managed. I prefer other locations but this is right around the corner.
As Always what ever Starbucks I go to I get the 5 star treatment and of everything is delicious!! When I hear people say that they dont like Starbucks because of their coffee I wonder what planet they are from but if its because of the costs for everything I understand!!
This location has a drive through, awesome surprise for me! Also, they were able to accommodate my unusual request without questioning it! Starbucks in general claims to be willing to make any drink to your specifications. I get confused looks and I am told it gets made this way, though with frequency at some other locations.
Have given the place a handful of chances but every time I go there they have gotten my order wrong. I always believe in giving chances but I think one time right out of maybe 6 times I’ve been there is just enough. They haven’t even refunded my money twice even after I’ve asked for a refund. All I get ever is maybe a drink or two. Not like I ask for a lot.
The manager here is so rude and never has a smile on her face. If you ask her for a large cup of water she will tell you that youre not allowed to have a large you can only have a small even if youre willing to pay for it. All the other employees are so polite, you would think the manager would be too.
Attention! Starbucks Westgate Plaza has not updated their website to relay they are closed. -All the other Starbucks in the area are listed as closed, but the Westgate Plaza was still listed as being open. I usually dont go to this location unless I am in that vicinity, but I drove there today April 18th, 2020, in the afternoon for a cup of dark roast coffee. There were no line of cars so I was suspicious. When I drove up to order, no one answered. Then when I came upon the service window, there was a sign posted stating Temporarily Closed like the other locations.-When I have gone there, the staff was pleasant and the service along with their fare, was good.
This place has always had very fast and reliable service. The employees have always been great and Ive spoken to the manager about how well she runs the place. I always tip, usually a few dollars, whenever I use cash, to make up for any times where I have to pay with a card or have no cash on hand.Unfortunately, there was one recent exception. May 16th around 7:20am my total was 8.10, I paid with 20.10 and a young kid handed me JUST a 10 back. I stared at him for a few extra seconds, as he was doing this. I was in a hurry to work, as we had an operation to do, so I didnt have time to go in and speak to the manager.Apparently, he thinks customers are too ignorant to realize that hes decided to start tipping himself. I hope management catches him before he drives any other regulars away.
This is the worst Starbucks Ive been to in Rochester. Service is slow, very, very slow and cashier had an attitude when I had asked how long itll be until my drink was ready(mind you I waited for over 25 minutes just for a drink). I will never be coming back to this store. Ive been to other stores and every store Ive been to goes above and beyond compared to this one (in everything- from service to drinks). Disgusted with the treatment received from employees at this store. Will NOT be coming back to this store ever again.

2022-06-26Don’t usually do this because I love Starbucks but since this location reopened my drinks are not made well or right. I am very simple and I order the same thing at every Starbucks I go to and have never had an issue. since this location reopened I have gone four different times and each time my drink taste completely different than it ever has. It is not made right and taste completely watered down or something they are also very warm for being an iced drink . I then went and ordered today since I can’t seem to get my usual drink made like it normally is at every other place And I order just a simple iced white mocha. It again taste so awful and I’ve had an iced white mocha many times since that was my favorite drink for years. It was not sweet at all and was very dark and if you know anything about the iced white mocha it’s very creamy and very sweet. I know this seems a little petty but somethings definitely isn’t right. I unfortunately will not be ordering my drink from that location anymore and it’s right behind my house so I’m disappointed. Sorry Starbucks but I can’t keep wasting my drinks

2022-01-10Tried starbuck today, I order white chocolate because they didnt have dark, what a mistake. Taste like warm milk.All i can say been there done that wont do it again. 4 dollars.

2022-01-05Okay so I came here and bought a tumbler and wanted a drink as well. One of blonde associates walks up to the register and I say hello! She just stares at me, so I say hello…..? And she still stares at me.. so then I say can you like just say something back…? Then she writes on a board and points at her ear with a head bob and the board says I’m deaf, then erases it and says what would you like. So I write omg I am soo sorry and embarrassed I had no idea!! Can I have a caramel macchiato.. all she wrote was how many pumps? I don’t remember what I said and asked if I could tip then she says sorry cash only ): on her board. It was soo awkward and I really don’t understand that if she’s deaf why would she not approach the situation with the board ready to order instead of staring at me with zero expression? It could have been a more pleasant experience but the customer service fell so short instantly. Still good coffee, just the most bizarre interaction ever.. and I’ve worked in food at RIT campus and have never experienced anything like that

2022-05-23Just went to purchase. They have a sign at the drive thru that saids, We open open in May. Well… its May 23, 2022. Seriously the management at this store needs to get it together.

2021-11-06Staff is wonderful and great customer service, HOWEVER, it took 30 minutes for me to receive the correct order. I guess 3rd times the charm! I will not patronize this location again.

2021-04-05Went in for our pickup order and the staff were loudly mocking customizations including ours. My partner was almost too embarrassed to grab their order. Any vocal complaining is not good customer service. But mocking and shaming customers in a Togo order which could be (and were) in the store is ridiculous. People have sensitivies around food and shouldnt feel ashamed in your store. Usually I dont complain when its backed up. But I see now it was backed up during an off time because they were spending time mocking orders. Come on.
