I ordered a small decade hot coffee and Grande peppermint mocha. I was inside the lobby for a half hour. I was told by a male worker her needed to re-make my peppermint mocha. not sure why. By the time my boyfriend drank his decade coffee it was cold. I had to go back in and wait another 10 minutes for another decade coffee. Not impressed with their customer service.
I love Starbucks as a whole. The mocha that I ordered today was really good. That wasnt the problem. Not sure why the drive-thru was operating very slowly but it was too slow. Perhaps its just an experience inside Im not sure. The young lady at the window was very nice and Im not disappointed with my beverage.
I love this location, usually, but yesterday I ordered the new apple macchiato and it smelled like spoiled milk. I honestly am not sure if that’s just how it usually smells, or if the milk was bad? I did not drink it, and went to a different location and got something else.
Normally Starbucks at the Watt Street location is great, unfortunately they closed at 2pm on a Saturday, without updating their hours. There were lines of cars waiting in the drive thru, I only noticed their new hours cause I tried to go inside and they were posted on the door. No sooner did I inform the drive thru people and they left, then another line of cars pulled in to order. Maybe they need to post their hours on the drive thru speaker, if they can’t update their hours on the app or online. I unfortunately had to go to the Dunkin next door cause they were open.
Friendly staff. Great accuracy. Extremely long wait time and terrible drive thru line/set up. Every time I visit the line is out to the road and people are trying to squeeze in. Wish there was a better solution to the overflow. Also they run out of items fairly quickly at this particular location I noticed.
I wanted to thank Sarah the supervisor, she is amazing. I have a lactose allergy which was making it hard to have my Iced White Chocolate latte, she did everything to figure out how to make it work and she did a great job. That is huge for me. She showed her staff how to make this for me, so that I could continue to enjoy my Starbucks. For that I am very grateful. She deserves so much credit for being such a shining star. Thank you for being an amazing employee. If not for her I wouldn’t have returned to this Starbucks.
Everyone that works here is great. (almost) everyday I come in here for two chocolate crossaints and the quality is very good. super friendly staff and very clean store. Im fairly new to Starbucks but I can say with confidence that Im going to be a regular at this store :)
The cash register wasnt working the last time I went there so. I was prepared to pay exact amount (or slightly more) but the barista made my day and was giving the coffee away. Thats right! Free coffee. Merry Christmas to me ( and anyone else who wanted just regular coffee). She is always pleasant but that was my best experience so far.
The renovation is nearly done, and the shop is really starting to take shape. The staff are fairly quick for Starbucks standards and do a nice job of actually listening and making your order right the first time. Where they lack is not really the fault of the staff but more the slow construction progress, but this shall surely change in the very near future.
An otherwise 5 star place, but fed up with how this drive-thru works. Staff is nice and my order has always been correct. But allowing one car to wait at the window for 10-15 minutes for one order is unacceptable. Ive waited in longer lines at other Starbucks locations and am still in and out quicker than it took for that one car to get their order.
This location has never gotten my drink correct on the first try. I’ve tried 3-times with extremely simple drinks. When they do finally get it “correct”, they act like I’m the problem and it still doesn’t taste quite right.Staff is not efficient enough to handle the drive through volume.Wanted to give them 2-stars, but always taking another lap through the drive through and waiting longer than I should each lap is too much.
Fast friendly staff serving sweet and plain hot and iced coffee drinks. Amazing banana bread and other sweet rolls for breakfast. Options for protein bento boxes w hard boiled eggs and fruits or small sandwiches. Cold drinks and cake pops. A fun experience for a covid safe drive thru!
This shop never gets things right. I just dont understand how every other Starbucks Ive been to can comprehend how to do a mobile order, but this store just doesnt.Most of the time, they just dont make the order. So I go in, wait 10 minutes, eventually realize they arent working on it, and ask. Then they realize they didnt look at the mobile orders and make it for me.Today was the first time in months my order was ready, so I grabbed it and got back into my car. 2 miles down the road I go to take a sip, and it turns out they made something completely wrong. I ordered a plain black americano. Pretty simple right? A few shots of espresso and some water. But no, they decided to also add some foamed milk for some reason. I dont want foamed milk, or I would have asked for it.Ive been at the end of my rope for a while now, but this does it. Even though this store is directly on my travel route, Ill take a longer drive to go literally anywhere else.
Stopped in here for a few minutes. Obviously the drinks and food were exactly what you expect from any Starbucks. The staff was pleasant and I really liked the layout, it seemed large and open. Only reason for 4 stars is the parking. The parking lot is small, its super hard to get in and out of there if youre driving. But other than that a good spot to grab a coffee when needed in Schenectady.
This is a good location. The renovation last year was such a great addition to the store. It opened up the cafe area much more so it is more comfortable to sit in and work or meet people. The drive through is busy when Ive come to the store, and I dont believe Ive ever had a problem with my order. Either this is a corporate issue or just this location, but the staffing is not there. Typically when Ive visited their are only 3-4 staff members working. Definitely not enough to properly run a store this busy.
How come theyre STILL not permitting anyone to come inside and order?? The drivethru lane is often so full you end up stuck in the road and when the lane is full like that, you cant exit going left because its blocked, you can only exit towards 7, which is horribly inconvenient if youre supposed to be going the other direction.The employees, servers, are wonderful though. Extremely friendly and courteous. I know its not their call to remain in ridiculous lockdown mode, especially considering theres almost no ACTIVE cases of CoVid in Schenectady. So while the company is deserving only 2 stars, the employees deserve 5, AND a tip every time I go there!
Ill never complain about the quality of Starbucks coffee, there is no comparison, its the best in my opinion! However, although the staff has always been friendly, the drive through is just too slow. Its 5pm on a Sunday afternoon and I have been waiting in line for 17 mins. There were 3 cars ahead of me when I pulled in.
Drive thru staff recognize me and remember my complicated order. Inside is clean, well maintained.MANAGEMENT OF THIS FRANCHISE NEED TO CONTRACT FOR REPAIR OF THE TRASH ENCLOSURE AND TO HAVE DRIVEWAY AROUND THE AREA ALONG THE ORDER WINDOW CLEANED UP ROUTINELY .I must say they have had repeatedly repaired/replaced damaged order board as needed.
My husband and I went here each day while visiting my parents over Thanksgiving. They pretty much messed up our order every single time. Whether it was putting whipped cream on a drink that was clearly labeled no whip, heating up a muffin wed asked for not to be heated, or just straight up giving the wrong drink (ordered an iced Chile Mocha, got a hot latte), they just couldnt seem to get it right the first time. It was actually kind of comical how consistently they messed up. Im glad this isnt my regular Starbucks.
I stood at the food case over 5 minutes while one of the employees seemed to be ignoring me while she stocked and cleaned. Finally someone else asked me if I wanted snything. The case was sparse and looked almost empty. I picked a coffee cake and ordered a tall drip. I seldom complain about the level of service but if serving people bothers you please find work that accommodates you.
I LOVE MY STARBUCKS. Almost everyday I go here and order the same thing. Theyve screwed up a couple of times when bringing on new staff members but the manager and asst manager have always taken care of us, they even created the drink recipe I choose and added it to their menu - the pricing is a little off the charts for a family & daily customer but I respect it because the quality evens out. Will never stop going! T
Great location friendly staff. Ive rarely if every been disappointed at any Starbucks which is why its my go to on the road. They are everywhere and I know Ill get a consistent, and quality coffee. This is the closes location to my house so when I have an office day Ill stop in and they never fail to get me in and out fast dispite how busy they are. Nitro cold brew is everything if you havent tried it you should. Even people who dont like a black coffee(like I myself do) can enjoy it without adding anything to it so smooth and creamy with a clean taste. Basically an NA Guinness!
Stand alone store with a drive thru. The wait times arent too bad and the staff are very friendly. Cozy place inside to read the paper or work on a laptop while sipping your beverage. They also serve prepared food including breakfast and lunch sandwiches.The only thing Ill knock this location for isnt even their fault... I hate how the layout is for traffic around the building. Driveways for other businesses everywhere, plus traffic signals right beforehand makes it a pain to turn into.Bottom line, if you like Starbucks and you are nearby, its a fine place to purchase your refreshments
For once it wasnt busy. I went in to order, I was greeted by a nice young lady , she took my order and passed it off to the girls preparing the drinks. I then waited for 10 minutes for a watered down cold foam casa carrara cold brew, when the young lady gave me the drink, she sat it on a very dirty counter, also right in puddle of coffee, from a previous order. I said thank you, she rolled her eyes. Wow, just Wow...$6.00 for a cup of cold brew, is one thing, but the major attitude is just RUDE!
Pricey, but most of their stuff is awesome! Sorry Dunkin (Ill always add Donuts), but you cant put a patch on Starbucks pants, & put glass doors on your dang donut shelves to keep out the flies...but I digress. Treat yourself once in awhile if youre like me & feel its pricey. Try the mocha frappuccino! And vanilla bean too! And dont forget the whipped cream!
I work for the company that sends the milk for this customer to use, garelick farms and Tuscan and their local distribution center is always returning trucks to us with lots of shrink wrap, cardboard, cups, syrup, bottles, and very rotten and stinky milk in the cases. For a company that sells great products for upwards of over $6.00 a piece in their stores, they fail in their distribution centers everyday with the quality of work done in their loading of our trailers, I should expect 5 star quality from these guys but I must give this company 1 star due to their workers in their distribution center!
Well if you go early in the morning expect to have rolled eyes at you, be smashed talk about over their head phone system and have misinformation. On top of that I was just sitting at the window until someone finally asked “what are you waiting for?” And then finally when I got my drink the cashier just held it there and said nothing until I said thank you and she just said “yup”. Very rude
I have been a Starbucks customer for many years and have to say I had one of the lousiest experiences today at the Watt st location. I went through the drive thru, about 3 cars ahead of me. Took roughly 20 min. to get to the window after placing my order (absurd). Then, when I got to the window they tried to hand me the wrong drink...and then had to make the drink I had asked for bc for whatever reason it wasnt ready. THEN charged me almost $7 for it without even one apology on all the time involved. I am so disappointed bc I have had much better service under similar circumstances from other Starbucks locations. Ive had my drink comped and/or coupons given to me when mistakes happened. I feel bad for all the other customers ahead of and behind me who probably had similar experiences. This location needs to get it together!!!!!
Great service, really friendly people. Great place for a private conversation.Edit: changed to a 4. Still nice folks but very slow for some reason. Enjoyed chatting with people while waiting, but would have enjoyed getting in the road faster.Still nice place. Particularly like the local hires working there.

2022-06-27I made a mobile order yesterday afternoon on my way home for a shaken espresso with no ice. I had a root canal on two of my teeth a few days ago and my gums are still very sensitive so I really can’t have the ice. When I stopped to pick it up I noticed my drink was only about a third of the way full. I wasn’t happy with that, so I brought it to the counter and I said to one of the women working “Excuse me, but can I just have ice in this if it means the drink will be full, I have sensitive teeth so I asked for it without ice, but I didn’t realize it would be mostly empty.” She apologized and told me that the drink should NOT be mostly empty and she didn’t know who made the drink. Either way she remade it IMMEDIATELY. I told her it wasn’t a problem, but thanked her and wow I appreciated their customer service! I do mobile orders from this store often and I am never disappointed with how the drinks come out, and I was especially made happy on my birthday this day with how she handled the situation, super professional and excellent customer service. Worth the wait since they were so so kind. (I don’t remember her name but she had blonde hair and was so super sweet) 5 stars.

2022-05-20Bad service.They were out of regular caramel, so they just gave me dark caramel without checking like they usually do when they run out of regular.Asked her if it was the dark stuff. She said that itsdefinitely regular caramel, while looking at me like Im a massive b-hole.I drove away, tried it...and it was the nasty, runny dark caramel. So, I went back in the store to get a new drink, and was treated poorly by the staff inside.They remade my drink, but it ended up being caramel flavored milk with barely any coffee in it. And since Starbucks has a formula...she did that on purpose. Because I had the nerve to politely ask for a new drink after being lied to.

2022-04-18Staff is generally rude. My last visit was horrible. My order was a grande mocha, pretty standard. Problem was it was half full of milk,, and whip cream filling another third. I know milk will settle, but this was never filled past half way.I made a mistake in asking for a top off for my cup. I didnt think about covid protocol, but the offense i caused the drive through girl was immense. She made me feel bad for asking, then told shed make me a new drink. I appreciated it enough to have have her snatche my $4 my hands while she gave me anEyroll. my new drink was full and boiling hot. I mean burn my hands hot. I hope this store figures out its staffing issues.

2022-04-02I came in around 10am and ordered a drink and food. I have a disability and walked out without my food only to realize like 2 hours later. I went back in and explained the situation, they were super busy but still gave me the food without questions. That really meant the world to me. They’re always super friendly. 2018-08-02Unfortunately I have to give this visit three stars. My mocha was less than hot. Otherwise it was ok. Staff were pleasant but as usual but gave priority to the drive thru clientele. Only positive point is that I am using a gift card so I didnt spend any of my own money.

2022-02-12I just love Starbucks! Anywhere I go and I need coffee I always try to find a Starbucks. If I cant find one I get bummed..lol. This is the only coffee Ill drink. I even buy some for home. For those who dont prefer strong coffee they do have a blonde roast. It doesnt matter if you like specialty coffee or just a regular light and sweet coffee. Just ask the Baristas there and theyll help you find your perfect blend. But dont be afraid to try something different. You never know, you just might love it.
