Great customer, personable service AND Fair pricing!I do wish the rural areas had fiber optic access. Living in rural area, I understand the high cost to install for the company with that said more people working from home and the increases in web devices in a home puts rural residents at a disadvantage.

The quality of the fiber internet is fast and better then Verizon in my opinion. I switched 6 months ago and it saved me time, money, and a headache. Great prices and amazing customer service. Highly recommend.

What a HUGE difference in internet speed. We havent had to Reset our router weekly like we used to with our last provider. The installation process was flawless. We were so happy the day we were able to return all the old equipment & do away with the crazy high bill every month.

Absolute garbage connection, we’ve had multiple “upgrades” but the internet never seems to get any better. The worst part of this all are the employees, there delightful, on the phone and in person when they come to my house to fix the internet, they’ve all been amazing and accommodating but for some reason the company just can’t match the quality of employees with their internet, how can you guys call yourself an internet company when I use my phone data more than the internet because it’s faster, I can barely do anything online unless I’m using my DATA. Abysmal internet, amazing employees.

Service a bit off for small family owned company. Young man came to my door to provide service when I couldnt connect to internet. No mask. Unmarked car. No Id. He couldnt connect with his phone to internet. I think he wanted a sandwich .. he just stood in my living room.. asking if there anything else he could do. Nope. Didnt even offer to swap the router. Hmm. Went to office to have a more senior tech resolve issue. No competition. Poorer service.

I was skeptical about fiber optic service from such a small operation but its consistent and fast. Installers were quick to come, worked with my schedule and were very nice. Its also much cheaper than the alternatives in my area.

They didnt care when my daughter had covid and so did my fiance so we were out of work for over a month and 3 of my 4 kids are remote and they said nothing we can do for you call the school and see if they can help. All I wanted was a break on the bill or extension.

Im extremely disappointed in StateTel. After 3 months of internet speed going to almost zero on a regular basis, even to point of actually losing internet and promise of a months credit (which I never received) I finally had to move to MidHudson Cable. Nobody can say I didnt give these guys a chance. And, the only reason I am leaving this here today is because I still have NOT received the credit I was told I would receive. Rather than fight, Im just going to drop it, and let people know, the speed issue is never going to go away if your on DSL. I was never nasty to anyone when I would call in, and I called in sometimes 2-3 times a week. My business is ran from home and I need the internet to do so. It not only interfered with my work, but instead of telling me they couldnt fix it, continued to throw me to the oceanwhere I would get speed, to only find a few days later I was right back where I started. I do not recommend DSL with State Tel to ANYONE if you use the internet for anything other than surfing, and even then, you wont get where you want very quickly.

I called because my internet was not working. It was slow and not loading anything. A woman named Stacy answered and was completely rude and not helpful. She continued to ask me the same questions over and over and putting me on hold just to ask me the same question again and would just say “okay”. I repeated myself multiple times and she continued to just putting me on hold, truthfully she sounded intoxicated slurring her words and not understanding what I was saying and did not know how to do her job in the slightest. The men who came to fix it were awesome and figured out what was going on, but the woman at the office was awful.
