The only ferry that will take you to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.Pretty good price.Service was pretty quick.Staff was pretty good.While I do have concerns of social distancing, I did keep my distance and sanitized as much as possible.
They were amazing easy, the process is very organized just pack ‘‘em load them, ship ‘‘em and then drop me off to do it again lol 😂,We did have to go through a screening kinda like an airport line to make sure we weren’t packing anything dangerous but the line was fast and smooth the ferries ⛴ come often so there’s a swift flow

Overall good experience, although the boat from Liberty Island back to Ellis and Battery Park smelled HORRIBLE on the boarding deck. Everyone around was thoroughly disgusted by the stench, presumably coming from the lav behind the snack bar. I cant imagine the smell helped to sell any food.Aside from that, it was a pleasant, enjoyable experience with great views.
Don’t purchase your tickets from Statue City Cruises. They’re totally incompetent by my experience. Fortunately i took a screenshot of my ticket purchase, made directly from Statue City Cruises, because i never received a confirmation email. Their website has a “manage booking” function where i input my booking number and hit resend confirmation (triple checking that my email address was correct) and still nothing! As a result, I stood in the purchase-tickets line to show my receipt and the jerk says “your email is your ticket, that’s all you need…” i say again, “this is just a screenshot” to which he replies, “all you you need is that email!” Place head exploding emoji here. OMG! Don’t purchase your tickets from Statue City Cruises, they’re incompetent!
We had a great time on the boat to Statue of liberty and Ellis island. All of the staff we friendly, polite, and helpful. On the boats concession stand, ordered a stuffed toy monkey souvenir, and the staffer apologized because he had another customer waiting, and for my inconvenience, he gave me a free pen with the Statue on it. It was no inconvenience at all, but what a nice gesture! Who said New Yorkers are rude?!
It’s good in terms of frequency and availability. Also you do get to the statue quick and easy. BUT COVID guidelines are not followed by any means; it’s like herding cattle. 0 options to social distance, no concept in place to keep people safe. The idea is to pack as many people as possible on these boats. Would not recommend until the vaccine hits in
Had a really good experience with the statue cruises, the process to get into the cruise was very smooth and the service was wonderful. We took the last cruise back and the people serving the food were kind enough to offer us a discount to buy the hot dogs that were left, which was wonderful because we were getting hungry.

This is something everyone should do! Take the ferry to the Statue Of Liberty, and Ellis Island. For less than $25.00 you can learn a tremendous amount of American history! Go!
Everything went smoothly. We didn’t book online ahead of time but arrived very soon after they opened. We were able to get tickets quickly and move through security with a minimal wait. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The boat rides were great as well.
I have worked and lived in the area since last century and started avoiding the park altogether because of obnoxious statue-ticket salesmen. They swarm around the park, especially at the entry points, and harass every single visitor and tourist multiple times.Their approach is unwanted and obnoxious, to nearly every park visitor. I look at them as street level scam artists, judging by their manners.Yes, the Statue Cruises salesmen basically ruin the park experience for everyone visiting.As beautiful the statue cruise and the whole harbor area is, this is a blemish on the operation.
Nice boat trips to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island, the line can be a little it long so my recommendation is to arrive early in the morning, the full tour is about one hour, however you can easily spend 6 hours visiting the statue museum and the museum in Ellis island
Horrible experience due to scammers blocking the entrance from walkway. They pose as security officers as they would not let me go thru unless I show them tickets. I ask them to show their ID and they start yelling and ask me to vacate the place. Actually they are ticket sellers who do not want you to reach the ticket window and make up stories of 2 hour wait etc etc. Statue Cruises should make sure visitors do not fall into this trap. Almost missed by ferry by few minutes as I had to stand there and do online reservation before that guy would let me go.
RESERVE YOUR TICKET ONLINE!!!! Tickets cost the same. I dont understand why people have to queue for hours. Their reservation system is very convenient. Remember to collect your ticket in the ticket office upon your arrival. Dont line before you reach ticket office (cuz there were like hundreds of people lining across the park lol) There is an express entrance for reserved customers.

To enjoy the best spots on the boat, you must arrive early. There is plenty of room on the open upper deck but everyone is rushing there.Too bad the announcements on board are inaudible.
Fast and well organized. An absolute MUST for NY. Great view of Manhattan. If you dont want to wait long, get there early.

I used a NYC card.Its a little cumbersome to check your belongings, but lets convince you that it is for safety.As for the ship, the Statue of Liberty is seen on the right side of the direction of travel.The way home is from Liberty Island to Ellis Island, so there is no good position.The ship did not shake much.

My Family and I arrived State Street at Bridge Street, from the very beginning of our journey we were haunted by people shouting us on the next * Statue of Liberty tour 🗽 * we did not pay attention to them, hurried to Battery Park to the Statue Cruises box office. And then an African-American jumps out and blocks the path, and with a confident voice asks the question ❔. I quote: you go to the box office of the Statue of Liberty? We answer: Yes !! He continues to have your ticket 🎫 we reply: No !!! He says in a confident voice that we need to buy a ticket, and we must hurry because the ferry leaves in 20 minutes. I doubted, but I was confused that there were other people who spoke English well and did what he said, but told them what to buy tickets from him. And succumbed to the crowd and bought a tour for $ 105.00 in cash to the Statue of Liberty. After buying tickets, my Family and other people in the amount of 10 people were taken to the bus station which will take us to the ferry. We moved away from Battery Park 200 meters deep into the buildings, and said to wait for bus 🚌, there were still people and the person who was responsible for boarding the bus 🚌. So we stand for 20 minutes, there is no bus. We stand another 10 minutes, there is no bus. People start asking questions about where the bus is. person From the company of scammers starts to call somewhere, and then reassure us that the bus 🚌 goes. But there is no bus. Some people started to leave, and this responsible person began to stop them. People answered him that they were leaving and they did not need the money 💰 which they spent on the tour. And at that moment, I realized that I had been deceived. I and one Family and children went to the sellers to turn their money 💰. To our joy they were there, we approached them and asked to return the money to us, he replies that we should go to the office and demand our money, the address is indicated on the tickets. I told him that I gave him money 💰 and let go give my money 💰. He said that he would not give us money 💰 and began to continue his business, to offer tours to the Statue of Liberty, without paying us. And then I turn on * Russians do not give up *. I go to the police car and tell the officer that we and other people were deceived, our money was taken away 💰 by fraud. Policeman 👮 went to the place where our offenders stood. Fraudsters saw us with a police officer and started to run away. Policeman 👮 tried to stop them, but they hid. We explained to the police officer the situation that we paid and were deceived, that we were disappointed about New York. And to our surprise, the policeman 👮 listened to us and said that he would try to help us. Naturally, he gave us a lecture on the fact that we should not buy tickets from unofficial distributors of tours. And he led us to the box office, where we were finally sent on a tour to the Statue of Liberty. My Family and I were contented and Happy.I want to say Many thanks to the Police Officer who did not stand aside and restored justice. Thanks to the Official Statue Cruise located in Battery Park. I advise you to go only to the ticket office of the park and not pay attention to people who are trying to sell tours on the street. I’ll leave a photo so that you are not deceived. This is a ferry landing that goes to Liberty Island.Get a security check and take a ferry.
A must do when youre in New York. We were just before 8:30 a.m. If you dont feel like queuing up, get up early and be there at this hour. From the ship we could already see a very long line at 9:00 a.m. The early departure from the hotel was definitely rewarded. In addition, Liberty Island is not that crowded in the early hours and you can take very good photos.

2022-02-22Despite it being the only option to visit the statue and Ellis island, it was a great experience. Ferries are full but they operate nonstop all day, be ready for multiple security checks along the way which got irritating but safety is great too.

2021-07-27This is the only boat cruise that has authority to dock and stop at the statue of liberty island. All other boats and cruises can only sail around the island. I went onto the website and booked the tickets there. I expected the cruise station to be packed since the statue is a popular tourist spot, so we arrived one hour ahead of time. Im glad we did that. The line was super long, we were in line for almost an hour before we got onto the cruise. They cruise gets very packed so expect to stand most of the time ont the cruise, but you would probably be standing anyways to take pictures of the statue of liberty and the NYC manhatthan skyline.

2021-09-02I went with family visiting. Always a great experience. You can’t beat the view of the statue from this ride. Ellis Island is fun also, we found a relative who came in 1906.

2022-03-19I rated this a 5 star, but Im up front that I wish I could have rated this a 4.5.Im glad my family did the cruise to the ferry. The slight problem was the amount of people they pile onto the boat. Many were forced to stand and interrupt the view of those seated. So many people participant in this event that the owners must be raking in the money. So much that they should buy a few more boats so that they are more frequent and less populated.

2021-08-09So youre in New York City. You want to see the Statue of Liberty. Youve even heard about Ellis Island and want to go there. So now, wondering how best to go about realizing these dreams of yours? Yep, thats right - On the ferry. And this is it. Theyre located at Battery Park. Once youre done running through the Battery, head on over. Get yourself a ticket, board the ferry, kick back and relax. Let these guys ferry you around or to Liberty Island and Ellis Island. Now, this part is important. Make sure you get the right ticket and get on the right boat. They have different prices for different tickets and they do different things for you. I once paid for a ferry that was supposed to take me to Lady Liberty. Turns out, I ended up on the boat that just took you around it on a quick visit. I couldnt land and all I could do was take pictures from far away. Lol. Im not saying thats going to happen to you. But just a heads up. Anyway, so long as youre on the right ferry, these guys will take care of you and youll have a great time! Cheers!

2020-02-21Great experience on the boats to and from Liberty Island and Ellis Island. This is the only way to get to Liberty Island, so make your reservation online and get your ticket before you get there! Quick boat ride of about 25 minutes out to the island. Plan your time accordingly if you are pressed. Take your time to visit the Statue. Give yourself at least an hour and 30 minutes visiting the Statue, gift shop and museum. If you need to eat, there is a café on the island. The boat ride is comfortable and very well operated.

2021-10-08- It is expensive, - I thought when buying the ticket.- But it is worth the money, I thought in the middle of the journey.Here’s what to expect:They take you to the Liberty island. You spend there as much time as you want, since ferries operate in a hop-on-hop-off manner. The views are mediocre, but the museum devoted to US liberty story is super inspiring. Coffee they serve in the cafe is not tasty 👅. My gf decided to get rid of it.Then they take you to the second island. It looks neat and has some big story behind, but we opted not to go ashore and just went back to Manhattan (they also offer service to Brooklyn).On the way back I enjoyed the views. They were especially pleasant. I did not take any photos and I regret it. Enjoy!
