Our wedding was July 27th. Sterling Strings added extra joy to an already wonderful day! Eric was so easy to work with throughout the planning process. My one desire was to walk down the aisle to Stevie Wonders As. When I heard the notes, I couldnt help but tear up a bit. It was wonderful!The guests commented how much they enjoyed the music during cocktail hour and how much having a trio playing on a lovely summer afternoon added just the right touch to our special occasion. I highly recommend Sterling Strings to add elegance to any event.
My husband and I worked with Sterling Strings for our wedding on May 25th and can honestly say that the music was one of the highlights of the event! Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing the music was! Eric worked with us every step of the way and was so involved and patient. He was also able to work with us making several of our song choices happen even with a duet when they are usually performed by a quartet. Days before the wedding he even helped me arrange for a surprise arrangement to accompany a reading I was surprising my husband at the ceremony. We hands down 1000% recommend going with Sterling Strings!!!

They played during the cocktail hour and as a guest, they were my favorite part of the whole wedding. They started with classical music so I thought they were your typical wedding quartet, but then they started playing modern songs and that was a game changer. It was so special and unique that I had to book them for my own wedding. They were responsive throughout the whole wedding planning process and arrived early for my ceremony. I requested a very complicated and special song for my walk down the aisle and they nailed it. At cocktail hour, my guests raved about their performance and loved every minute of it. We hired Sterling Strings to perform for our Zoom Wedding as our in-person wedding was canceled due to COVID-19! Eric was super responsive over email and phone, and open to our unorthodox request to perform virtually for guests. Leading up to our event, Eric joined our virtual run-through to help trouble-shoot any issues and even performed a few different versions of our songs to help decide which sounded best over Zoom. Eric was so easy to work with and really helped our virtual wedding feel like an incredibly special and elegant affair. Our friends and family were so delighted at the surprise performance -- it really helped set the mood that this wasnt just another video call! I hope were able to work with Sterling Strings again in the future for an in-person performance, but were so grateful we were able to support these talented artists and create a special moment for our unconventional wedding.
Sterling Strings are nothing short of extraordinary. Not only are they extremely talented but they have such a passion for what they do and it shows through their music! For my wedding I wanted to add a little something special for my ceremony and cocktail hour instead of the traditional music. One day on my commute to NYC, I heard the sterling strings playing in Penn station and I was amazed. When I got home I looked them up and showed my husband. We knew immediately that we had to have them! I contacted Eric and he was more than happy to travel to PA for us and I am so happy they did! They were easy to work with, professional and super friendly. My guests are still talking about them. They were truly amazing. I need to plan another party so I can use them again!
We hired Sterling Strings for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and folks are still talking about them! They were so easy to work with, professional, and their talent is unmatched. Upon our request, they played more traditional music during the ceremony and switched over to contemporary music for the cocktail hour. It was a hit with us and our guests. If you book them for your event, you will not regret it. Youll likely be like us and will be looking for other events to hire them for.
Sterling Strings has participated in two virtual concerts for me now and they never fail to go above and beyond. Their talent is remarkable, they are lovely to work with, and even learned a new song that I requested! They have been a hit and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a virtual concert during this time!!
Sterling Strings played at our wedding and were one of highlights of the evening!! Amongst the changes and everything going on with Covid, they were so easy to work with and flexible to our needs. We’d definitely recommend and would use them again if we could!
The presence of sterling strings at our wedding was probably one of the highlights of the afternoon next to the bride of course. They set the mood for a picturesque and storybook wedding that we could never have dreamed of. I would highly recommend them to anyone for a wedding, or a get together with the classical touch. I give them my highest rating.
Saw them 2 weeks ago at the 9/11 Memorial. One word for them.. Wow!Please make more music like that 🙏

2022-02-07I first saw Sterling Strings in Fulton Station in NYC and I knew I wanted them to be part of my special day.I love their original spin on the oldies, to the classics, to the new age. We could not have asked for a better group to be part of our wedding. They made our special day even more special.

2020-12-31Everything about Sterling Strings was perfect. From the first interaction with Eric via email he was very professional and always responded right away. The list of songs they have is amazing (every genre, classical to pop) but theyre willing to learn a new song if you wanted. They arrived on time. Set themselves up. Worked everything out through our day of coordinator. It was competely stress free for us. They played for an hour and it was absolutely incredible, including for my wife walking down the aisle. They were by far the hit of the wedding and would highly highly recommend them.

2021-01-06Sterling Strings was everything I imagine for my wedding. Very professional, Sterling adds a special touch to their music but also very mature performance keeping it classical. We were able to plan out over the phone and discuss my ideas with Eric and his team. Despite this year; with a restricted amount of people, I was able to get married with the woman of my dreams and Sterling Strings was able to do an outstanding performance.

2020-12-29Our wedding that took place on November 14, 2020 was anything than originally planned. Eric along with Fred, Pat and Eddie were part of our original vision prior to dealing with the global pandemic. At a time when everything was stressful, he supported us switching venues and coming up with an intimate ceremony and cocktail hour. As we had several restrictions, guidelines and safety measures in place his team arrived on time, with the highest level of professionalism and maintained all protocols in place. The musical choices were flawless including renditions of “All you need is love” by The Beatles and “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton for us in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Having the element of a string quartet will bring tears to each and every guest and bring a level of elegance you could only dream about. The Sterling Stings are by far the best in the business and their level of talent is like no other. I promise from the initial call or email with Eric to the actual event will be a flawless experience with one of the most knowledgeable band leaders in the business and an event everyone will be talking about for years to come. Whether a 300-person wedding or a 30-person outdoor event, The Sterling Strings will deliver each and every time and there is only one choice for a string quartet. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day one for the books!

2020-12-31I found Sterling Strings through one of the online wedding sites. Prior to booking, I watched every video I could find of them performing. After booking, I re watched every video because I was so excited and could not wait to see them in person. We initially booked SS to provide music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Appx one week before the wedding we decided to add a violinist to play during dinner. Our guests absolutely loved the music. Eric was so easy to work with. Days leading up to the wedding we scheduled a call to go over some ideas I had for my entrance song. When I called, the band had just finished rehearsal. As we talked about what I wanted, Eric put me on speaker and the band played a sample of what we talked about to make sure it was what I wanted. This was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

2019-11-25The Sterling Strings are absolutely amazing. They have such a large library of songs to choose from, from Classic to Modern songs. Eric and his crew were so professional. Eric was very responsive and we worked together to figure out a perfect budget and timing for the event. They absolutely understood and heard what I wanted to do with the music and beautifully executed it. A month before the wedding I asked for a popular song and Eric was able to make it happen!I received so many compliments from the guests at the wedding. Sterling Strings was the perfect addition to our event. Our only regret is that the cocktail hour wasn’t longer so I could hear them perform more.

2019-10-14We cannot say enough amazing things about Sterling Strings! We hired them for our wedding on 9/28/2019 and they were one of the top highlights of our day. Eric was so easy to work with from start to finish, and they even put together a custom arrangement for my professional song which was so special to me. Our guests all RAVED about them, many said they were the best wedding music they’d ever seen or heard! If you are at all on the fence about hiring live music for your ceremony, cocktail hour, or whole wedding, DO IT and make sure it’s Sterling Strings! 2020-12-31We were so blown away by Sterling Strings at our wedding. They are exceptionally gifted musicians who gave an incredibly memorable performance that our family keep talking about (and will for years). They were poised and professional when it started to rain in the middle of our ceremony and maintained high spirits all through the night. During the reception, they deftly navigated the evening, mixing classical songs with our contemporary favorites, and kept the group moving when it was time to dance. We’ve since recommended them to family, friends and friends of friends and cannot wait to work with them again for our next celebration. They’re truly wonderful artists and were equally wonderful people to have with us. We’re lucky we found them!

2020-12-31Sterling Strings was a huge success for our wedding. I first heard Sterling Strings in Grand Central (pre-COVID) and their music made for a good start to the morning as it filled the halls as I was walking to work. I knew I had to have them at our wedding, and luckily my wife went along with my recommendation! They definitely were impressive and worth it. My wife and I highly highly recommend. They played for 2 hours during our wedding reception and it really set the tone for the evening. They can play a wide range of music which is awesome, especially all of todays hits, and their sound is so unique and helps generate a very elegant ambiance even if theyre playing a strings rendition of a hip hop song. Many of our guests thought it was the coolest part of our wedding, and we would agree.

2019-10-03Sterling Strings were such a hit at our wedding! They played at our ceremony and cocktail hour and our guests absolutely loved them! We had a DJ for the reception portion but adding a string quartet for the ceremony was a really special touch that we are so glad we invested in.Eric was very professional and prompt with his communication which put us at ease for the big day. Definitely recommend these guys!
