My stylist was Michelle. Since I moved from NC I havent found someone that could style as it was previously done in NC. I found at Steven Bailey, that Michelle (and I assume others in the Salon) are indeed top notch. Actually they are 10+ stars. Im thankful for that salon. Their prices are extremely reasonable. If you are looking for a stylist, that is the place to go!!! I can recommend Michelle to the highest degree of stylists!! Thank you Steven Bailey!
Whilst the salon is most famous for its exquisite hair services, I get my manicures and pedicures at Steven Bailey. I love it because I truly get the royal treatment, the technician is lovely, appropriately dressed, takes her time, the fees are super reasonable and comparable to other spas. The salon itself is clean and the atmosphere inviting. Best of all, the polish lasts.
I took my three year old to get her haircut for her birthday. Nikki McIntyre is awesome! She was great with my kiddo and I love how her haircut turned out. It was also a professional clean environment. We will be back!
I went to see Meghan after the most disastrous experience with a perm I had ever had in my life. I was certain there was no solution except to buzz it all off and start over. Meghan worked wonders. I have the best haircut and color that I have had in a long time. She was able to work miracles on my hair and make it look good again! Thanks Meghan!!! You are awesome! The salon is also the most relaxing and inviting place. I was there for almost three hours and I enjoyed every minute of it!
I’ve gone to this establishment twice. The first time my appointment was pushed back without being notified and I had to wait over 45 minutes for my haircut. The second time I went my haircut was horrible. Incredibly choppy and much shorter than I wanted. Tried to give them another try but they once again pushed back my appointment. Seems like horrible time management on their part. Will not be going again.
Had an amazing first time experience and will definitely return. Highly recommended as the atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly. Rachel did my massage and was excellent! It was very comfortable and felt wonderful. My hair stylist was Japanese and I know I wouldnt get her name right but 40 plus years experience and awesome customer service. She was absolutely perfect and helped me get beautiful colors. 100 percent satisfied and 100 percent recommended!!!! Thank you!
Eyebrow waxing by Arielle was fast, very satisfactory and affordable. The premises are kept spotless, inviting. Easy parking close to everything in the mall area of Plattsburgh. I was able to make a next day appointment on a Saturday, which is very convenient given my busy schedule. I strongly recommend - and I will definitely go back as I appreciated the professional, effective yet relaxed ambiance. And there is a Starbucks next door :)
Ive been here twice now, and each hairdresser was super talented, friendly, and very skilled. I had Amy then Ariele, and would recommend them both without hesitation. Best part for me is having Starbucks right next door so I can celebrate my new hairstyle with a nice flat white.
First time getting my hair done in the area since I am from New Jersey and am only in the area for summer. HIGHLY recommend. Got a trim and highlights and my stylist did an amazing job. Far better than anything I’ve had done in the Jersey area for a fraction of the cost. I will definitely be returning!!!
Extremely disappointed! Went for my second appointment and sat in the waiting area. There were probably 6 stylists there and not one person acknowledged me. After 25 minutes my girl came out. I told her I wanted heavier blonde highlights, she was also doing a perm on someone else so instead of doing foils on me she painted them in with a brush and I left with less highlights than I went in with. Not acceptable.
I had a fantastic experience at Steven Bailey! My hair tuned out just the way I wanted and they are so warm and friendly there! Steven did my hair and he was so personable and sweet! I will never go anywhere but here to have my hair done and I will be trying out the other services they offer as well!
Called spur of the moment. Logan fit me in, great cut, no drama. Im not one that would be called fashionable by stretch. Loved the cut the next day, so I called to thank him next day. Will return.
I was in Plattsburgh for work for a few weeks and was DESPERATE for a cut. Some googling led me here and thank God it did! Arielle was my stylist and she did an amazing job! She listened to what I wanted amd made it look great! I just wish I lived nearby so I could keep coming back! Had a fun time chatting with all the stylists during my time there - they made it a really enjoyable environment. I definitely recommend this salon. Thank you!
I wanted to go to an Aveda salon and originally went to Lake Placid salon but was not happy with cuts and other issues there. I happily found Steven Bailey’s Salon and was happy with both cut and color. The staff is very friendly (although a gentleman on the phone can be a bit curt) and accommodating. Convenient location beside the Starbucks with good parking. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this salon.
Ive been a loyal Steven Bailey Salon customer for years. Steven is my go-to stylist for hair color and cuts, Billy gives the best pedicure ever and Arielle the most amazing and relaxing facial. All the employees are pros and super friendly. The Aveda products have been a game-changer for my somewhat fragile hair. I wouldnt trust anyone else in town with my hair....or my toes!

I will never go any where else to get my hair done. They do a great job and listen to what you want and I loved the head massage when I got my hair shampooed. Thank you Meghan so much cant wait to see you again.
I Got my haircut here yesterday and it was great everyone was so friendly and inviting. Megan did my hair and I absolutely love it, i also got an amazing head massage during the shampoo and conditioning it was amazing definitely never going to any other salon no other salon compares
Had an appointment scheduled for 6:00pm i was still waiting at 6:25pm. No one even came over to let me know how much longer it would be...she was just talking with her other customer. I get that she shouldnt rush someones hair just to get me in, but learn to schdule people better. Then when they do have to wait communicate with them and maybe apologize
Steven Baileys is an AMAZING salon/spa, with an EXCELLENT staff🤩I happen to be Physically disabled,wheelchair bound, & I can honestly say that everyone there have gone out of their way to make sure I get to have the full experience of any service provided!!!They have ALL gone over & beyond to make me feel Welcomed & Comfortable, in their facility

2022-07-10I’ve never seen such bad nail service in my entire life, it’s almost baffling. Me and my sister came in for two gel mani and reg pedis. Mind you, the girl on the phone who took our appointment DID NOT tell us that we wouldn’t be serviced at the same time after us driving 30 minutes to come into town for this!! They have maybe under 15-20 colors, super small selection so not a great start. I just had my sister do hers first and I kid you not, this woman was picking the gel off my sisters nails with her FINGERS. She had no metal tools to do her nails! She was doing her manicure with a cheap wooden cuticle pusher. I couldn’t believe my eyes and I feel like she was chatting with us so much to distract us from what she was doing. We were in the salon for over half an hour and this lady managed to make my sisters nails look worst. She didn’t cut the cuticle clean (she has pieces of it hanging off, all ragged) and didn’t know how to take gel off of THREE nails. My sister didn’t even gel on all her nails, she had a tiny bit on a few nails and still, wasn’t able to be taken off. At this point, we didn’t have time to waste so my sister politely asked how long it would take and we given an estimate of FOUR HOURS. Four hours for 2 mani pedis?? This salon should absolutely not offer nail service. This is so completely unprofessional. Not only did we waste our time, my sister was charged 10 for an awful file, sloppy cuticles and chipped away gel pieces stuck on her nail. Good luck to anyone who wants their nails done here.

2021-12-01Not only did Logan color my hair exactly how I wanted (I was going for an extreme change), gave me the greatest cut, but the whole experience was top notch. The salon is gorgeous and super clean. The stylists and owner all interacted with everyone in the salon. It was super relaxing and light hearted conversation. It’s a rarity to walk out of the salon and catch your self in a mirror and be like, I so love my hair!!!! This is the experience you want to have at a salon! Highly recommend!!

2022-01-06Tori was my stylist and she did an amazing job fulfilling my hair goals. I know transitioning from flat color thats all brunette can be difficult with blonde and caramel, but she blended the highlights while still adding dark brown at the roots and through out the length. It was a perfect amount to get me adjusted into having lighter color in my hair again. I was nervous to be overwhelmed with blonde in my hair again for the first time in years. She did is perfectly! Thanks girly. Cant wait for my next appointment.

2021-04-08I had Tori who is an amazing hair artist. I went in with disgusting red boxed hair dye that was months old and wanted a fashion color. I know from experience that fashion colors are hard to get just right and that I would be sitting in a chair for hours on the bleaching process. Of course if it didnt come out we had a back up plan to discuss other colors, but it did. I have beautiful healthy looking Orange and Pink hair with hints of yellow.

2020-12-08I went to Nikki and had a perfect experience. I havent had my hair cut and colored since I was growing my hair out and have always had bad experience with color. She knew exactly what I wanted and made it happen, PERFECTLY! I couldnt be more happier with the cut and color. I even called the salon to tell her personally my thanks. She is talented and friendly. 2020-10-20My stylist Michelle was phenomenal! She helped me pick out a style of bangs that ended up fitting my face perfectly! I haven’t gotten my hair professionally done in years so I was nervous, but she was fantastic and super sweet! The salon is beautiful, and I had a wonderful time there. 100% will be going back!

I am never disappointed! Between her work, personality, and her professionalism, I am always pleased.Not to mention, the salon was great. Friendly staff in a great atmosphere in general.

2020-02-19This is a classy salon to be pampered and made to feel good. Ive been cutting my own hair and decided it was time for a professional. I went with Meghan and she was amazing! Totally listened to me (which is a first in 8+ years of hairstylists). She knew what she was doing, was confident in her experience, and made me feel like I mattered. The salon is beautiful, well kept, staff are kind, and not over the top. Would recommend to all my friends and definitely am going back!

2020-12-05I went to Niki Mcintntyre. I’ve gone to her for about two or so years now. She does an amazing job on my hair. I come to her with crazy color ideas and she makes them come true. She super friendly and very professional. We just recently added blonde to my hair so I could add more green and cut it a little. It is amazing and I enjoyed my time there. Great people and great salon. I was totally comfortable and relaxed. If I good give her and the salon 10 stars I would.
