We had a leak with our humidifier in the basement attached to our heater. I called around 11:00 am and was given an appointment time for the next day 1-4:00pm. I was told the price of $109 + any extras that might need to be done. After I hung up, I worried water might get too damaging by then so called back and spoke to Barbara. I asked if they have any add ons at the end of the day incase the jobs get done quicker then expected. She told me she can put a service call in and they can stop over anytime if there is time. She said she would put to call me first but couldnt promise that they would do that. I was prepared so it didnt mater that they didnt call because my husband was home and Dom came and took care of the problem within 3 hours of the initial call. He was kind, courteous and explained the issues we had. I always like having an idea of what we could do better next time. Total was under $150.00 and basement was dried and ready in no time. They originally put our furnace in 2003 and when we are due for another I will not hesitate to call them.
I had a hot water heater installed in August 2019 and the installation guys dented my metal entrance door in two places plus the door bottom sweep that is attached to this door is bent. This is a fairly new door. too. I called them back immediately and was told I would get a call back but never got that call. This was not my first time using Steves. They installed my furnace and central air in 2002. Then in July 2019 replaced my central air. I will not be using them again. I think I will contact the BBB.
Had water in my basement and called to have my furnace checked out before turning it on. Bob came out and took water out of the blower and started furnace. Never said that he did not put a filter in the furnace, never put on the paperwork that he didn’t put a filter in the furnace. I am 81 years old and told him I could not get down the stairs and he said everything was fine. Not only did my furnace run with out a filter but he never gave me my senior discount. I have used them for years but won’t be anymore.
The gentlemen (John, Mark and Casey) showed up on time, and within minutes, they had my old furnace torn apart and on my front lawn. Then, they diligently went to work tearing out the old duct work and began to install my new Lennox Furnace. I cant sing their praises enough. They balanced my vents, made sure to ask which side of the house I wanted the vent/intake pipes to be run, showed me how to program the thermostat, helped me with my rebate forms, made sure I got my new Carbon Monoxide Detector properly installed, cleaned up the entire area and were gone before the end of the day. Steve (the owner) came out last week, measured everything up and wrote me an estimate that was the exact amount I paid today. I couldnt be happier. Thank You Steves Heating and Cooling. I will recommend you to anyone I know who needs new air handling systems.
I want to say they are a terrible company had many issues after using them and the lady who answers the phone is very rude and just to say if the situation does not get fixed il take them to court for bad business this is ridiculous I suggest nobody uses them and they need to get a better person answering the phone terrible service
We highly recommend Steves Heating and Cooling. We had a new furnace installed and AC added to our home. For the AC lines needed to be installed through part of our finished basement. Not only did they give us a reasonable quote, they were the only company willing to not destroy our entire basement ceiling in the process of the the AC installation . It did take some extra time to work with our bulk-heads, but we are so thankful there isnt additional repairs that will need to be made.
I had a dead hot water tank I called at 8am. Technician came at 11am. I had odd tank with left handed threaded piolot, an off situation. New heater for 8 year old tank with new piolot, $650. SO I BOUGHT A NEW ONE. If I went to big store all the work. I wanted Steves At 345 there 3 technicians were at my house, at 415 new tank all done and running. All junk out all new pipes water and venting installed, Everyone was the best and the Secretary was just so good to me. We have hit water at a great time. Its interesting in my self rental for my People. Living in my house. Thank you
We called the emergency service because our furnace stopped working in the middle of the night .. the temp being 10 out we New we had to get someone ..the lady on the phone said she would have a tech call us..45 mins later no call.. we called back and they said we will call again..half hr later still no call, we called someone else who called back within 15 mins.. I know with it being early morning and weekend we may have to wait but not even a call to tell us that.. poor practice!!

2022-08-02Im a veteran. i was referred by the VA hospital i wanted a ac unit exchanged in my bedroom they came out on the hottest week of the year cut the cord to existing ac unit and left me to deal with the heat all week. then told me it would cost an extra $200 to install the new unit on topof the $1200 they received. i gave them cash for the job. they never finished work and never did what i paid for. very disappointed

2022-01-28My furnace decided to not work on one of our cold winter days. Called them up after hours and someone came by and fixed the igniter. Its been weeks now and its still running great. Id recommend this company for sure.

2021-12-08I called this place 1 week ago. Spoke with the receptionist, gave my information and my request. She stated Steve would give me a call back. This has not happened. I googled this place and because I have a Lennox, I figured I would call them. At this point, in my line of work, I will not recommend them to someone that needs this type of businesses. And, I will not think of them when I occur another issue. If your too busy, or short staffed, or cannot handle the request, just say so.

2020-09-22I have had the pleasure of using Steve three times. We have a large bed and breakfast and have needed him to rush out and fix both our furnaces, and split air conditioning heat pumps that were installed by another company. From his first call out, his contact detail sticker was put on our furnace and its a blessing to know, i cant lose his number. Each time we have called, his receptionist professionally answers and deals with our request, then Steve turns up reliably and cleanly dressed. He has always been respectful of his work environment and our furniture and floors. I have always felt his charges were fair and reasonable. Having a tradesman like this handle this one small area of our lives which is so important to maintain in Northern American temperatures, I feel it is honestly one thing I do not now have to worry about. Totally recommend.

2020-06-29We hired Steves several years ago. Just realized I could post a review for his company. Had them install a mini-split system in our home. Extremely satisfied with everything, from the cost to the expert installation. I have recently given a couple of my friends the number to call Steves for work that they are interested in having done. Sorry for taking so long to write my review Steve. I am truly happy to have chosen Steves to work for me.

2021-02-25Had them out multiple times to try to fix my furnace. They installed some new parts, charged me over $400 and the furnace still doesnt work right. They cant figure it out so now they just say I need a new furnace. I guess when the going gets tough, the tough give up. Why would I spend hundreds of dollars on something if it is a lost cause? Im not running an HVAC school here so dont charge me for parts if you dont know if I need them. Very disappointed with this experience, completely just wasted hundreds of dollars. If I do end up getting a new furnace it wont be from this place.Also, to the guys that told me they cant get parts for my furnace you were lying. I went online to repairclinic.com, typed in my furnace brand and 468 parts came up. I even found a wire harness which you said might be bad for $20. Took me all of 10 minutes to find but I guess thats just too hard.

2020-11-02I had problem with my furnace so I called at 7:30 AM and by 9:30 AM their service man Todd arrived at my home. He was very professional and informative and by 10:30 my furnace was fixed. The repair cost was fair and I can’t thank them enough for their speedy service and would highly recommend them. Thank you. Pat S.
