Good service with friendly staff. The only reason for 3 stars is that it used to be my favorite place to go for wings. Ive been waiting over a year for them to reopen and finally got some, but they arent as good as they used to be. Sauce seems different. No longer the go-to wing spot. Still a great place aside from that though
It was hard to fund because they remodeled. Since NYC opened back up during the pandemic this place isnt as busy as it used to be. However Im sure people are going to enjoy the space before it starts getting packed again. The wings are slammin. The ginger honey especially
Huge bar with an average beer selection. They also have a huge selection of other liquor though I cannot say Ive tried cocktails here. The staff is super friendly and the food is better than expected for a bar. It gets pretty crowded after work, since it appear to be mostly a commuter bar. Only thing that I would improve on is staying open regularly since they tend to close quite a bit for private functions or if the place is empty.
People very friendly and helpful. Wings was great, drinks could have been stronger... had to drink a beer because I felt like I was drinking juice... nice atmosphere great music( played very low though)..very very pricey.. gratuity is ridiculous. But overall a cool time...seen bill though🤯..But playing it off like😎
This is a great little after work spot in the garment district. The menu is varied and an please just about anyone. The bartenders are friendly and helpful and the place feels full of regulars which is always nice. Its not fancy, has a bit of a sports bar/pub feel but suits me just fine!
I went here for New Years Eve singles party. Opened bar was from 8:00-9:00PM. I get there 7:48PM and don’t get drinks until 8:20PM after I check my coat. The lines were long and the ladies were able to jump to the beginning of the line before all the men. Which Is typically standard. There were not many ladies there anyway. Then I get my drinks. At 8: 53PM I am at the bar waiting for my drinks. Then I am served and the time is 9:03PM and I was charged about $21 for two drinks. I ordered a drink and my friend got one as well.In addition to that the entire singles event had 75 percent men. Most of the men who presented themselves well. From what I see and heard the girls were from out of country staying here a week.Disappointing experience being ripped off on the opened bar. Which is advertised for an hour, which is really more like thirty minutes at best. Also disappointing seeing so many guys inside the place. At first my friend and I were waiting to get in we actually questioned if we bought tickets by mistake to a gay event.
This is one on my favorite after work spots. JJ and Carolina make amazing drinks. Everone is friendly and great customer service. The wing special for $15 is really good. Suggestion: ask for plain wings well done and get the sauces on the side. You will NOT be disappointed. I highly recommend this bar. Nothing but feel good vibes.
I came in for new years eve and it was super busy at first. I was concerned and thought maybe I should have stayed home. I decided to at least make it until midnight and I had a blast. The music was great and I ended up meeting a group of people that were so cool we ended up coming back friday night! The drinks were great and I had the teriyaki wings which I thought were tasty. I will totally come back the bartender was super friendly and was attentive. Im coming back to taste the bbq wings for sure plus I heard they have a great happy hour!
Came in at 16.20 on a Friday, the bar was almost dead. I sat at the bar and waiting over 5 minutes to get service even though the girl behind the bar acknowledged I had came in to sit. She was more interested in entertaining other customers who actually had a drink. I asked for a second drink and she went and to my disbelief served someone else before me. I just got up and left. As someone new to staying in NYC its safe to say this is my first and last time here. Do not waste your time in this place the bartender has no idea how to run a bar. Would give it 0 star if I could.
A great after-work joint that has drink specials and a split-level set-up. The watering hole offers an intimate venue for after dark events and has a party room available. The happy hour has great prices and selections. The bartenders are very friendly, especially J.J who welcomed me and my friends at the bar the very first time I visited this spot. J.J was very accommodating and recommended the awesome classic cheeseburger and fries combo that was delicious. I definitely recommend this speakeasy for your after-work party or after dark event. Stop by and have your favorite cocktail or shot... Cheers!
Disclaimer: My review is based off of bar experience and service alone, I have not tried the food here. This was a Saturday night at approximately 8:30pm.Just stopped in this bar on the way to an escape room down the street, looking for a few quick shots to ease the nerves in preparation of said event. No other customers were seated at the bar as a friend and I sat there, I believe one or two tables were being tended to in the dining area. Still, took a frustrating length of time to be greeted. Just happy to be serviced, we ordered two house bourbons which, with tip, came out to $20 give-or-take. Starting to feel a type of way, we downed our shots fairly quick, and decided wed enjoy two more before hitting the road. Well, we waited 10-12 minutes with an anxious look on our face to reorder, but the bartender was busy having life conversations with two other employees at far end of bar. Ok cool, but after 10-12 minutes of waiting already (in which I made consistent eye contact with staff members ensuring Id like to be serviced), I started to raise my hand and wave at them to a point in which at least two, if not all of them saw me waiving -multiple times- and proceeded to continue conversing. After waiving several times and then waiting another few minutes or so to give them the benefit of the doubt, we just walked out. This was with NO other customers at the bar. I can only imagine if there were others how much longer it would have taken. Super thumbs down in bar area, as unattentive service and above average price range of drinks made my (and my friends) experience extremely unsatisfactory. Two stars because I dont have a heart to give one, although Id like to.
Gets crowded but the bar is nice and long so you can usually secure a spot for 1-3 people to congregate pretty easily. Sometimes tables are reserved for private functions. Also fairly centrally located to Port Authority and Penn Station - so potentially a good spot for after work outing for the commuters.
It took forever to place an order: nobody came to the table, I had to go to the bar. They added 20% autogratuity even though the order was placed on one card and was only for 4 persons (and they expected tips on top of that). Bouncer was rude (actually I thought he was drunk or high by the time we were leaving).(P.S. we were there for the trivia game - maybe they manage better on usual days, but I definitely wont come there again, and will ask our organizers to avoid this place for future events)
I never cared for this bar and the other day I walked my happyself in there, thinking things changed because it was lunch time. WRONG. My teriyaki wings were burnt with no seasoning. The celery and blue cheese dressing was great. Service was lackluster. This is a cheers kind of a bar. Not my cup of tea.
Situated in the mass transit neighborhood of Penn Station, Port Authority and all the MTA subways. Its a good central spot for a bar for events and after work. Large area with a long bar with plenty of spots to hang out and good bartender service. Around the sides of the bar youll have tables and chairs with waitress service. Nice happy hour prices with beers on tap and large screen TVs throughout to watch the local games. Youll find it heavy in the bridge and tunnel crowd for commuting. Go for the sampler platter which has a nice variety of chicken fingers, wings, quesadillas, and mozzerella sticks. Great for groups and for chilling the day away.
Well i eas enjoying a beer and was going too order lunch...so tend too whistle along with the songs proabaly unconsciously...now let me tell im a good whistler...no joke ive been complimented many a time...but some coward who didnt have the spine to ask me themselves to halt my whistling asks the bartender instead putting her in on da spot...cowardly person for just not asking me...im not patronizing this place again....

2022-02-25It was the closet blues joint by our hotel. We lucked out because it is a really cool blues joint. Very nice people working there. Nice bar, Carolina was our bartender and was fantastic.Joe Tiano was playing in a trio and was just what we needed.Ample parking on the street after 6pm. Insert sarcastic tone.We picked up their 20 wing happy hour special and was very satisfied.

2022-07-01I came here for a couple of drinks to celebrate a co-workers upcoming retirement. Plus, he was performing with his band during happy hour. This place is very cute with great entertainment. The staff was friendly and the drinks were great. I will be sure to stop by again in the future for lunch as they seem to have a pretty good menu.

2022-06-22I had the absolute pleasure to find myself at this establishment on a Saturday night in New York after trying desperately to find a bar open late (who knew that could happen in New York of all places?!...Im looking at you COVID!) Did I have high expectations for this place? No. Did the absolutely wonderful and friendly staff knock those expectations out of the park...you betcha! What a fun night. Guys...do you even know how great your bartenders are? So entertaining, so great, so fun and easygoing. We had a perfect Saturday night New York experience and so much of it was because of these gents! Drinks are inexpensive and when I asked for cherries for my drink you gave me a whole bowl of them (points!!!). I will tell you this... The bartenders go to jam of Tina Turners Private Dancer now has a very special place in my heart and I have you to thank for it! We are coming back to New York soon and coming back directly to you! Keep a seat open for us! ❤️

2022-02-28I used to live nearby and went several times. The music was always pretty good and its a fun, not too crowded venue. Unfortunately they stopped serving pizza which was pretty good, and its always nice to have food at a bar. The drinks are a little expensive, but they are worth it for the most part.

2022-03-22Came here for drinks and the advertised Happy Hour. You have to read very carefully what the happy hour menu has and remember that well alcohol will be used at all times.I had straight beers and normal menu items, while some of us tried HR drinks and those where not good at all.Looks like it has music at night and the place could be hopping. I would go again, but forget happy hour

2022-03-14Some of the best wings in NYC and super cheap beer. Come before 7 for the best happy hour with 50 cent wings. Great after work spot or pre MSG spot.

2019-11-02Great bar! Went for happy hour and then stayed for a couple hours after that. Our waitress was helpful and accommodating of our large group. The Long Island tasted a little odd though. I am not sure if I just was not used to it or it was the drink itself.
